Twitter currently is one of the leading social networks worldwide based on the amount of monthly active users after Facebook and Instagram. People uses Twitter mostly to find out more information about breaking news or keeping up with news in general by following trending topics. As Twitter become a source of news breaks contents in form of comments and replies to share the newest ideas. Therefore, several mobile applications that utilize Twitter API has been developed to provide a convenient way in providing trending topics to their user. Twitter trending topics offers an effective opportunity in marketing point of view for online marketers to promote their marketing contents. Spam contents in Twitter were found to be distracting and annoying for certain users, thus mobile application to deliver spam-free Twitter trending topics contents is needed. This research designs an Android application framework that allow developers to build their own implementation of spam detection classifier for Twitter contents as application library. This research implements two classification methods, i.e. Naive Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbor, to identify spam in Twitter trending topics. The Naive Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbor classification methods are able to detect spam and ham contents with 82% and 71% accuracy respectively.

In a certain period of time, most educational institutions produce data with a huge capacity from their operational activities. From those data will appear the need to obtain certain information which is useful as a material of performance evaluation or even as a material of management decision. Data warehouse is one of solutions of these needs. When the capacity and complexity of data warehouse has been increasing, then full extract technique in Extract Transform Loading (ETL) process becomes inadequate, even in others case this technique can not be applied, because this technique causes a large cost. Delta extraction can be one of the solutions of this problem because the process is to extract only the data which has been changing in ETL process. Delta extraction technique will be tested on MySQL DBMS using historical table and trigger. From the result of load test, it can be concluded that trigger gives the load to its parent table, but the waiting time that is required is still tolerable.

Fertilization is one way to increase palm oil production. With such a crucial role, then an efficient usage of fertilizer could cut down production cost significantly. In order to ensure an efficient fertilization, a thorough analysis on plant's fertilizer needs along with looking after harvest results. Area analysis is possibly done by utilizing WebGIS-based GIS software which is easy to operate using precision farming approach in order to run in a long term. First step is to visualize palm oil plantation using processed image data in order to supervise, analyze, and plantation and ensure continuous production. Next, determining attribute data to analyze the need of fertilizer and match it with palm oil plant fertilization age table. It is expected that the result of this research could be of help for companies to know plant's exact and proper need of fertilizer in order to save cost and continuous increase in production that will meet harvest dates.

Urban green space (RTH:Ruang Terbuka Hijau in Bahasa) is the spaces within the city or the wider region in the form of area/region as well as in the form of the area extend path gives the benefits of ecological, social, cultural, economic and aesthetic to urban environments. According to the Board Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi) East Java by 2016, RTH in the Malang City, reaching only 2% of the territory of the Malang City. At this time many residents who have been demanding greater participation in establish public policy decisions that government affect. Malang is also the difficulty in finding RTH in the Malang City, only 3.6% of his only RTH is known in the Malang City. Geographic information system recommendation of public participation urban green space is one of breakthrough for community to participate in giving recommendation of RTH in Malang City. By utilizing LBS (Location Based Service) technology and Geotagging on the android device allows the community to provide recommendations RTH that desired of the community. This information system also helps the community in facilitating to find RTH in Malang city. So the government more facilitated in determining the development of RTH in Malang city.

PG Krebet Baru II, Malang is a factory that process sugarcane into sugar that operates for 160 - 180 days each year. The machines work for 24 hours. To keep the machine's performance works optimally, supervisors are responsible to supervising machine's performance to make sure it is in normal condition. The machine's performance data is very dynamic that change in seconds. It means the machine's performance is possible for being abnormal condition only for a few minutes or even in seconds. Currently, the factory has system to monitoring the machine's performance that are connected to application, so it can be opened in mobile device. Unfortunately, the information is passive. It means supervisor won't know any information if they didn't open the system. If the machine's performance is in abnormal condition and the machine is not being watched, it can interfere the machine in the future. From this problem, information system of milling machine should be developed based on Android using push notification features. Supervisor will get notification if the machine's performance is in abnormal condition. Information system of milling machine is developed using waterfall model. The testing in this system use validation testing, user acceptance testing, and basis path testing, where the result of user acceptancce testing conlude that system is valid and compatible with user requirements and the basis path testing conclude that the largest cyclomatic complexity is 17.

Database synchronization is an activity to equalize the data contained in multiple databases. It is utilized by the SINADME Mobile app in the process of retrieving primary data on servers temporarily stored in mobile applications for offline transactions. Currently SINADME Mobile uses the Full-Load method to synchronize, so if sync is done on a regular basis it will result in increased load. This research will implement Delta-Extract method in synchronizing to reduce load during synchronization routinely. The focus of this research is the analysis of the loads received by mobile applications using Full-Load and Delta-Extract. Based on the test results, the Full-Load Method eases the burden received by the mobile application during initial data retrieval and the Delta-Extract method reduce the loads received by the mobile application during data retrieval after changes.

Temple is one of sacred buildings that used for worship by Hindus and Buddhists in Indonesia. Ngetos Temple is one kind temple which still exist and has suffered serious damage. Need technical handling for Ngetos Temple restoration. However, the refurbishment process also requires archeological technical studies that require considerable time and cost, there is another way restoration to reduce the time constraints of the restoration process by using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. AR is a technology that used in real-world modeling into computer systems to help and support human activities. AR can be implemented with Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF (ORB) algorithm. This algorithm is open source. To implement this algorithm, a supporting library is required for implement all functions of the ORB algorithm, in this study using the OpenCV library. For that researchers build temple information application based on AR technology on android smartphone that implement ORB algorithm. The application scans the pattern on the image that has been taken by the camera then displays the 3D object of the temple based on the pattern. The results of 3D objects in the form of a whole temple that can represent the temple that has been restored.

Differences in screen size between the desktop screen, tablet and smartphone and the diversity of the number of website columns cause the problem of decrease value effectiveness and efficiency of the website. This problem happens because the layout arrangement is less good when a website has a certain number of column conditions and transformed into a particular device. So it is necessary to rearrange a good website layout by adjusting the number of columns and certain devices. The layout arrangement consists of a website with the number of columns that is one column, two columns, and three columns and the device selected for layout arrangement is tablet and smartphone. The rearrangement of the website layout is derived from the application of Material Design Guidelines (MDG) and User Centered Design (UCD) approaches to find out which approach is better applied for layout arrangement with specific column counts and certain devices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the website. The equation of effectiveness and efficiency of Anton Sergeev (2010) is used to determine the increase or decrease in effectiveness and efficiency on website before and after modeled. Based on the results of this study, the MDG approach further increases the efficiency of website time of three columns tablet version. While UCD approach further increase the efficiency of website time one and two columns version of tablets and smartphones and three-column website version of the smartphone.

PT Britmindo is a mining company that provides reliable reports and solutions for the various services required by coal mine owners. One solution done in the framework of efficiency in the field of mining is to utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) at the exploration stage. Currently PT Britmindo provides a website-based system that can be utilized for exploration and inventory activities. However, the use of sparate digital cameras and GPS handheld in the inventory takes a lot of time when adding inventory results into the system whereas website-based concession maps are less than optimal when accessed through smartphones that are easy to carry in exploration activities. From these problems, a system of coal mining inventory and exploration in Kalimantan based on Android mobile is developed by utilizing GPS and camera features on smartphone, where users can view location concession maps and make inventory through geotagging and tracking. Inventory and exploration system was developed with waterfall model. The results of this study is an Android-based mobile applications. Testing on this system using validation testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and usability testing where the results of testing validation testing and usability testing resulted in the conclusion that the system is 100% valid and very easy to use, while the results of UAT testing resulted in conclusion that the system has been in accordance with user needs.

Health Department Laboratory is Technical Implementation Unit in health sector under the auspices and responsibility of Malang city health office. Health department laboratorie has duties and functions to provide health testing services. In running of the business process there are several problems that potential disrupt the course of business activities, one of the problems is the running time of the process is too long and non-optimal. The non-optimal processes in the health laboratory include data storage, the data is not integrated or fragmented that can be a cause of data duplication, and data loss due to human error. So it is necessary to analyze the business processes that have been applied, then evaluated it to determine the business processes that potential disrupt the course of organizational activities in order to provide advice in the form of recommendations for business process improvement and design of a system. This study uses Business Process Improvement (BPI) as an evaluation method, and system design using Zachman Framework. This research uses 3 perspectives from 6 perspectives on the Zachman Framework, and uses the first 3 phases of Business Process Improvement. Testing is done after the design and evaluation of business processes. The testing is uses bizagi simulation and the system testing using blackbox. This research produces the proposed business process as well as system design.
