Abstract

Heat transfer modeling in semi-cylindrical systems is crucial in the development of thermal energy storage (TES) and thermoelectric generator (TEG) technologies. This study aims to analyze the integration of Bessel functions and computational methods in thermal conduction modeling, as well as evaluate their effectiveness for thermal system optimization. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with literature searches in ScienceDirect, MDPI, SpringerLink, arXiv, and DOAJ (2020–2025), followed by selection based on inclusion-exclusion criteria and thematic synthesis of 21 selected articles. The results show that Fourier–Bessel series-based semi-analytical solutions are capable of representing radial temperature distributions even under asymmetric boundary conditions, while hybrid approaches combining Bessel functions with the Finite Element Method (FEM) or Computational Heat Transfer (CHT) improve prediction accuracy and computational efficiency. Key challenges include sensitivity to material parameters, numerical instability, and high computational costs for nonlinear geometries. Practically, this approach can be utilized by renewable energy researchers and engineers to design semi-cylindrical TES and TEG systems with more uniform temperature distribution, higher storage capacity, and optimal thermoelectric conversion efficiency.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has driven the emergence of various educational innovations, one of which is Augmented Reality (AR), widely recognized for its potential to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and concrete experiences in physics education. Although numerous studies have demonstrated the benefits of AR, comprehensive reviews that critically examine its potential, challenges, and future research directions remain limited. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA framework, utilizing data sourced from ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, Google Scholar, and SINTA within the period 2020–2025. Of the 320 articles identified, 25 met the inclusion criteria and were subjected to thematic analysis. The findings reveal three major contributions of AR: enhancing conceptual understanding, strengthening critical thinking skills, and increasing learning motivation. The identified challenges include infrastructure limitations, teachers’ pedagogical readiness, and the absence of standardized evaluation frameworks. In practical terms, these findings have implications for physics teachers and curriculum developers. AR integration needs to be designed within an inquiry-based learning framework to support meaningful concept construction, not just visualization. In addition, AR module development must be structured, aligned with competency and assessment standards, and contextual. Further research should focus on the integration of AR with AI and the development of adaptive curricula in authentic learning. This review provides a comprehensive overview of AR’s role in supporting the transformation of 21st-century physics education, while also identifying opportunities for more focused and impactful future research.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut guru memiliki keterampilan digital, khususnya kemampuan berpikir komputasi dan koding. SMA Muhammadiyah Tubohan sebagai sekolah berbasis nilai keagamaan dan lingkungan menunjukkan kepedulian tinggi terhadap penguatan kompetensi digital guru. Namun, hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum memahami dasar-dasar koding dan belum menerapkan pendekatan berpikir komputasi dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasi guru melalui pelatihan terstruktur berbasis Scratch sebagai media pengenalan koding visual yang ramah bagi pemula lintas mata pelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan partisipatif dengan pendekatan pelatihan tiga tahap, meliputi: (1) pengenalan konsep berpikir komputasi, (2) praktik koding visual menggunakan Scratch, dan (3) penyusunan proyek mini berbasis mata pelajaran. Peserta terdiri dari 20 guru lintas bidang studi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test kemampuan berpikir komputasi, observasi praktik langsung, serta kuesioner umpan balik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan skor post-test sebesar 82,6% dibanding pre-test rata-rata 46,1%, dengan tingkat retensi pemahaman konsep mencapai 78% setelah dua minggu. Sebanyak 90% peserta mampu menyusun proyek koding sederhana, seperti simulasi ujian, permainan edukatif, dan alat bantu hitung berbasis geometri. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada minimnya model pelatihan yang kontekstual dan aplikatif bagi guru di wilayah semi-perkotaan. Kontribusi nyata dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya ekosistem pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan terbuka terhadap teknologi, sekaligus mendorong guru untuk mengintegrasikan koding sebagai media pengayaan dan penilaian alternatif. Hasil ini memperkuat pentingnya program pengembangan profesional guru berbasis teknologi yang berkelanjutan dalam menciptakan sekolah yang tangguh terhadap tantangan era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X pada materi energi terbarukan di SMA Negeri 1 Martapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 140 siswa kelas X yang telah mempelajari materi energi terbarukan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda berbasis indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif, yaitu fluency (kelancaran), flexibility (fleksibilitas), originality (keaslian), dan elaboration (elaborasi). Data dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 67,51 dan standar deviasi 22,91. Indikator tertinggi adalah fluency sebesar 74,52%, sementara flexibility dan elaboration memiliki persentase terendah masing-masing 64,76%. Distribusi data cenderung mengikuti pola distribusi normal dengan variasi skor yang cukup besar antar siswa. Meskipun siswa sudah menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang baik dalam hal kelancaran menghasilkan ide, masih dibutuhkan penguatan pada aspek fleksibilitas, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi agar proses berpikir kreatif dapat berkembang secara optimal. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi penting bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Deret Fourier dan transformasi Fourier merupakan konsep penting dalam fisika dan komputasi yang sering kali sulit dipahami mahasiswa karena sifat matematisnya yang abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan simulasi dasar berbasis Microsoft Excel untuk memvisualisasikan kontribusi harmonik pada deret Fourier serta representasi frekuensi melalui Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). Pada tahap awal, suatu fungsi periodik diselesaikan hingga diperoleh bentuk deret Fourier, kemudian setiap suku harmonik divisualisasikan dan ditampilkan superposisinya untuk menunjukkan pengaruh koefisien Fourier terhadap pembentukan gelombang kompleks menggunakan lembar kerja pertama pada Excel. Lembar kerja kedua menampilkan transformasi Fourier yang dilakukan secara manual menggunakan fungsi-fungsi dasar Excel sehingga menghasilkan spektrum frekuensi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik sinyal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Excel dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara domain waktu dan domain frekuensi, sekaligus memperkenalkan konsep-konsep numerik seperti iterasi, aproksimasi, konvergensi, dan diskretisasi. Simulasi ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran Fisika Matematika maupun Komputasi Dasar untuk membantu mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman intuitif mengenai struktur frekuensi suatu sinyal. Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to validate a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) teaching module on Momentum and Impulse material to improve the critical thinking skills of Grade XI students. The validation ensures the module's feasibility before implementation in the classroom. Methodology: This research and development (R&D) study used the Four-D Model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), limited to the development stage. Validation involved four experts who assessed the module using a validation questionnaire. Data were analyzed quantitatively based on content, construct, language, presentation, and assessment criteria. Main Findings: The module received an average validity score of 89%, categorized as "Valid" without revision. The highest scores were in learning construct/model (92%) and assessment (91%). All aspects is content, language, presentation, and graphics were deemed suitable for classroom use, supporting the module's readiness for implementation. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers a PBL-based teaching module specifically designed for the Merdeka Curriculum, integrating critical thinking indicators and Pancasila Student Profile values. It addresses the lack of contextual, structured physics teaching tools and provides a validated, practical resource for teachers to enhance students' critical thinking through real-world problems.

Abstract

Peran Laboratorium Virtual Dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Abad Ke-21 (4C) Pada Pembelajaran IPA : Studi Literatur. Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut penguasaan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi (4C). Dalam pembelajaran IPA, praktikum berperan penting untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep sekaligus melatih keterampilan tersebut. Namun, keterbatasan laboratorium fisik di banyak sekolah menghambat pelaksanaan praktikum secara optimal. Laboratorium virtual menjadi alternatif yang memungkinkan peserta didik melakukan eksperimen interaktif tanpa bergantung pada fasilitas fisik. Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran laboratorium virtual dalam mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 melalui telaah literatur artikel ilmiah terbitan 2018–2025. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa laboratorium virtual efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Selain itu, media ini mampu memperkuat pemahaman konseptual, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, serta menyediakan pengalaman eksperimen yang aman dan fleksibel. Dengan demikian, laboratorium virtual berkontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran IPA. Dampaknya bagi pendidikan sains mencakup perluasan akses belajar, penguatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, dan pengembangan inovasi praktikum digital.

Abstract

This systematic review aims to synthesize and critically evaluate the application of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) in modeling and controlling autonomous vehicle dynamics from 2020 to 2025. Following the PRISMA framework, 36 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings were selected and analyzed to map model types, control strategies, and their practical trade-offs. The review identifies six primary ODE-based modeling approaches kinematic, dynamic, linear, nonlinear, single-track, and two-track each exhibiting distinct balances among accuracy, computational demand, and real-time feasibility. Integration with control methods such as PID, LQR, Model Predictive Control (MPC), and nonlinear techniques reveals context-dependent performance: while MPC and sliding mode control offer high accuracy and robustness, they impose significant computational burdens; in contrast, PID and LQR are lightweight but limited in nonlinear or high-disturbance scenarios. Critical gaps persist, including insufficient real-world validation, limited fusion of physics-based ODEs with data-driven learning, scarcity of open dynamic datasets, and unresolved real-time implementation challenges. The study concludes that model–control selection must be mission- and hardware-aware, and calls for stronger empirical validation, standardized benchmarks, and hybrid architectures combining ODE rigor with machine learning adaptability.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and validate a Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based science module using water rocket experiments for the topics of motion, force, and pressure in junior high school. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The module was designed to support meaningful science learning by integrating project activities, inquiry-based student worksheets, and hands-on experimentation. Validation was conducted by three experts, including a science education expert, a science content expert, and an experienced science teacher. The validation focused on curriculum alignment, pedagogical appropriateness, content accuracy, worksheet quality, presentation, and assessment. The results showed that the developed module was categorized as very valid, with an average validation score of 89.8%. The highest score was obtained in presentation and language aspects (92%), while curriculum alignment and assessment each obtained 90%. The findings indicate that the module is feasible for use as a science teaching material in junior high school and is pedagogically promising for supporting active learning and scientific reasoning. However, further empirical studies are needed to examine its effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes, motivation, and scientific literacy.

Abstract

Modern non-volatile memory technology relies heavily on quantum tunneling, which allows electrons to pass through insulating barriers that are otherwise impenetrable. This paper investigates the use of tunneling methods in flash memory designs to provide high-density and scalable storage. Reviewing tunneling physics in floating-gate and charge-trap memory, assessing barrier-engineering techniques, and investigating scalability options are the goals. Fourteen chosen publications published between 2010 to 2025 were the subject of a systematic literature review (SLR) with an emphasis on high-k dielectric materials, nanoscale device design, and tunneling-barrier engineering. The findings demonstrate that leakage can be decreased while programming efficiency is maintained by improving barrier thickness and dielectric characteristics. Furthermore, the advancement of 3D NAND technology depends heavily on sophisticated materials and device structures. This study indicates that quantum tunneling is still the key mechanism enabling next-generation scalable non-volatile memory, notwithstanding the reliability issues it introduces.
