Abstract

Early marriages are marriages conducted by 18 years old, who physically, physiologically and psychologically are not yet prepared to take on the responsibilities of marriage, if they are done, it can disturb reproductive health This study aims to develop a health promotion model using Emo-Demo through the Theory of Planned Behavior approach to the prevention of early childhood marriage behavior in young girls. This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design, namely research that aims to reveal a causal relationship by involving a control group in addition to the experimental group (7). In this design, the experimental group was given treatment and the control group was not. In both treatment groups, it was started with a pre-test and after giving the treatment, another measurement was held (post-test). This research was conducted in the KB Village, Jambe Wangi Village, Sempu District, Banyuwangi Regency. The population was all young women who were in the KB Village of Jambe Wangi Village, Sempu District, Banyuwangi Regency, totaling 60 people. The sample in this study was young women with a sample size of the control group 30 people, and treatment group 30 people. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The research variables were Attitude toward the behavior, Subjective norms, Perceived behavior control, Behavioral Intention, Action to prevent early marriage. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the frequency distribution which included the frequency and percentage of the aspects being measured. Furthermore, data analysis used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov homogeneity test, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the Mann-Whitney Test with α

Abstract

Global Burden of Cancer (GLOBOCAN) data released by the World Health Organization (WHO) states that the number of cases and deaths from cancer until 2018 was 18.1 million cases and 9.6 million deaths, and this will continue to increase to more than 13 .1 million cases in 2030. Cancer treatment with chemotherapy has side effects or toxic effects on the body. Spirulina (Spirulina platensis) contains quite complete phytonutrients and has the potential as an effective anti-cancer agent. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is known to have various benefits for the human body. The general purpose of writing this article is to overcome health problems as stated in the SDGs, with the SEVOO innovation product to reduce morbidity and mortality from cancer. The method of writing this article is based on scientific literature searches and also the results of research that has been carried out. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the substances in Spirulina against cancer indicate that Spirulina contains antioxidants and anti-cancer substances in phycocyanin. Phycoisanine from Spirulina cultivated with Zarrouk media was able to inhibit various types of cancer cells, one of which was MCF-7 cells. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of EVOO substances contain antioxidants and anti-cancer. The main content in EVOO as an antioxidant and anticancer is polyphenols. Phenols (polyphenols) contain hydroxytyrosol (HTyr), tyrosol (Tyr), and secoiridoid oleacein and oleocanthal which play a central role as anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and anticancer agents. The antioxidant activity of methanol extract in virgin olive oil extract is known to have potential activity as an antioxidant with an IC50 value of 474,901 ppm so it is effective for the prevention and treatment of cancer. SEVOO's new innovation is a combination of Spirulina and olive oil as a new formulation in cancer prevention and treatment to reduce morbidity and mortality from cancer. SEVOO's innovative products use natural ingredients namely spirulina extract and EVOO to create a high level of effectiveness against cancer cells. Keywords: Spirulina (Spirulina platensis); anti cancer; SEVOO ABSTRAK Data Global Burden of Cancer (GLOBOCAN) yang dikeluarkan oleh World Health Organization (WHO) menyebutkan bahwa jumlah kasus dan kematian akibat kanker hingga tahun 2018 adalah 18,1 juta kasus dan 9,6 juta kematian, dan ini akan terus meningkat menjadi lebih dari 13,1 juta kasus pada tahun 2030. Abstract

Family Planning is a program of the Indonesian government to regulate the rate of population growth by using contraceptive methods. Contraception is divided into two types, namely long-term contraceptive methods (MKJP) and non-long-term contraceptive methods (Non-MKJP). Factors that influence the use of contraception are fertile age couple knowledge about MKJP, costs, skills of officers, availability of tools, counseling-information and family planning education, husband's support, access to services, satisfaction with using contraceptives, and history of use. This research was conducted to determine what factors influence the selection of MKJP methods in Bulugunung Plaosan Village, Magetan Regency. The difference with other similar studies lies in the method, selection of influence factors used the Difficulty-Usefulness Pyramid (DUP) method. This study was a descriptive study involving 64 women of family planning Non-MKJP participants in Bulugunung Plaosan Village, Magetan Regency from January to May 2020. The data analysis used the calculation of the mean score of difficulty and usefulness for each element of the MKJP and calculated the range starting from the mean difficulty score up to the mean usefulness score. Focus group discussion method has been used to determinate of elements. The elements that were categorized as high priority were availability of family planning services, service fee of family planning, and communication, information and education of family planning. Keywords: elements; long-term contraception method; Difficulty-Usefulness Pyramid

Abstract

Introduction: The success of “Alert villages” (“alert village”) can be explained using an independence-based "community empowerment model", involving factors of physical capital, human capital, social capital and community empoweredness. Method: This model was developed with a cros sectional design involving physical capital, human capital, social capital, community empoweredness, and “alert village” success. The research subjects were 216 implementers of “alert village” in Panekan Sub-district, Magetan District, selected by cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, then analyzed using structural equation modeling based on partial least square. Result: The success of “alert village” wass influenced by: 1) physical capital with total effect of 0.105360; 2) social capital with total effect 0.774022, 3) community empoweredness with total effect 0.952891. Analysis: The success of “alert village” was determined by a direct determinant of community empoweredness and two indirect determinants of physical capital and social capital. Discussion: In the model of community empowerment in the implementation of “alert village” in Panekan Sub-district, the success of “alert village” was determined by 2 main factors in sequence, namely: 1) community empoweredness that included the ability to identify and develop potential, identify and prioritize problems, solve the problem; 2) social capital that included social network, level of trust between people, obedience to norm, caring for others, and involvement in implementation. Keywords: Physical capital, Social capital, Community empoweredness, Alert village
