Abstract

The goal of this research is to examine the role of charismatic kyai leadership in the moral development of students at Al Ishlah Islamic Boarding School. To investigate what factors, help and hinder the charismatic kyai's leadership in the moral formation of students at Al Ishlah Islamic Boarding School. This is a descriptive qualitative study. Data is gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. Analysis data were done through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the kiai's role as a boarding school caretaker, example, parents, leader, and motivator. Characters formed include students who care about the environment, discipline, responsibility, independence, religion, and hard work. The existence of good management performance, the involvement of the Islamic Boarding School family, and the support of the community and government in the Islamic Boarding School are all supporting factors. Inhibiting factors include a lack of belonging to Islamic boarding schools' facilities and infrastructure, a lack of parental understanding of Islamic boarding school regulations, and the influence of children outside the boarding school.

Abstract

Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Islam yang efektif dan berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Artikel ini membahas langkah-langkah dan faktor penting dalam membangun Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Islam   yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Faktor-faktor penting dalam membangun Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Islam   yang efektif dan berkelanjutan meliputi budaya mutu, keterlibatan semua pemangku kepentingan, pemanfaatan TIK, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik, penguatan sarana dan prasarana, kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, dan peningkatan pendanaan. Dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah dan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor penting ini, diharapkan lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat mewujudkan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Islam   yang efektif dan berkelanjutan, sehingga mutu pendidikan Islam dapat ditingkatkan secara berkelanjutan dan menghasilkan generasi yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Due to its role as an educational facility throughout the early stages of Islam's development in Indonesia, Surau demonstrates institutional existence in educating the country's youth in addition to historical relevance. This study aims to describe the advantages of the surau educational system for elementary school children. Techniques from qualitative and historical research are used in this type of study. Accumulating knowledge through time by studying literature, such as books, magazines, and rules controlling surau educational institutions. Heuristics were used to acquire sources, source critique was used to validate and select material, interpretation was used to interpret historical facts, and historiography stages were used to put the information together into a chronology. The study's conclusions indicate that the following functions of surau education are important: (1) fostering moral and ethical qualities in children; (2) fostering an understanding of Islamic teachings; (3) enhancing moral and ethical qualities; (4) fostering an understanding of Islamic teachings; and (5) fostering the capacity to worship, study, and gather and organize. In light of the fact that the surau education approach influences how kids form their religious identities at an early age, it was decided that it should be incorporated into the contemporary educational system.

Abstract

Characteristics of community and the school environment are starting point for determining vision, mission, and goals. Facing these problems and the results of the diagnostic assessment that has been carried out on all school residents, this program considers differentiation that is adjusted to talents, interests, and abilities as well as the personalities of all school residents. This study aims to achieve school’s vision and mission so that can strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. The method applied is Mulia Differentiated Method as an abbreviation of Mulia, Superior, Literate, Inspirational, and Adaptive. Differentiation because this program is adjusted to diagnostic assessment carried out at the beginning of the school year which is carried out on all school residents, so that this program is adjusted to talents, interests, abilities, and personalities. The results state that the Mulia strategy that we implemented brought benefits to the school, students, guardians, parents, the committee and the community around the school. The benefits for the school community are the creation of a religious and family atmosphere, the beauty of the school environment becomes a comfortable and safe place.

Abstract

This article will discuss the problems faced in implementing the implementation of integrated quality management in SMP IT Wahdatul Ummah Metro City in improving the quality of graduates. The purpose of this study is to develop an effective quality management system starting from planning, implementation and evaluation to improve the quality of graduates at the IT Wahdatul Ummah Middle School in Metro City. This qualitative research was conducted through interviews with a sample of participants. The goal is to gain a better understanding of their experiences with mental illness. This research includes data on principals, vice principals for curriculum, vice principals for student affairs, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and documentation. Both methods provide valuable information that can be used to improve the quality of life of residents in a particular area. Another way to check the validity of data is to use source triangulation. This can be done by looking at different sources of information to see if they support each other. If data is found to be invalid, it may need to be revised or completely rewritten. Data analysis in this study includes triangulation and reference materials. Triangulation is a data analysis method that uses various sources of information to form a more accurate picture. Reference materials are documents or sources of information that can be used to help corroborate or support data analysis. this study found that the implementation of integrated quality management can improve the achievement of school goals starting from the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages are all important aspects of this process. Setting the school's vision, mission and goals is an important part of improving student achievement and the quality of graduates. Programs and activities must be oriented and focused on improving student achievement and meeting customer needs and satisfaction. Continuous improvement in all areas of the school's services is essential to ensure that the school remains focused on its goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and describe the management of the head of the Madrasah in improving the performance of MAS PERSIS Gunung Buntung teachers. This type of research is qualitative and descriptive research. The data sources in this study are (1) primary data, consisting of the head of the Madrasah, deputy head of the Madrasah, staff/employees, teachers; (2) Secondary data, obtained from literature research and documentation. The data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method is carried out by data processing (selecting, classifying, concluding results, and making data reduction). The results of the study show that the head of the Madrasah has carried out the stages of the management function well from the planning stage to supervision (controlling), but in its implementation sometimes there are obstacles, this is due to the lack of professional teachers, the lack of infrastructure, there are still teachers who do not understand the lesson plan and are reluctant to make the lesson plan, the lack of teacher awareness of discipline in teaching. Teachers' ability to evaluate learning has not been conferential, some still lead to cognitive aspects and psychomotor aspects are not paid attention to. Good management of Madrasah heads can improve teacher performance, both in planning, implementation and evaluation. This can be seen from the increase in teacher discipline in teaching, the learning tools owned by teachers are getting better and more complete

Abstract

Tingginya angka putus sekolah merupakan masalah yang serius di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab dan dampak tingginya angka putus sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab tingginya angka putus sekolah adalah faktor ekonomi, lingkungan, keluarga, dan pribadi. Dampak tingginya angka putus sekolah adalah ketergantungan pada orang lain, kurangnya kesempatan kerja, kurangnya kemampuan akademik, masalah sosial, dan dampak pada masyarakat.

Abstract

Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara yang di lakukan dengan Guru, Kepala Sekolah, Orang Tua Siswa dan Sisawa. Hasil penelitian kepala sekolah telah malakukan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengaraha, dan pengendalian, media online yang di gunakan dalam poses belajar mengajar selamapandemi adalah WhatsApp, hambatanya keterbatasan spesifikasi smart phone, tidak memiliki smart phone, keterbatasan paket internet, dan siswa juga susah memahami pelajaran dan saran yang dilakukan adalah pembelajan dengan menggunkan Grub WhatsApp secara berkelompok, pembagian pubu paket dan LKS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang berupa observasi dan wawancara yang di lakukan penelulis di MI Al Fajar Pringsewu dapat di simpulkan bahwa hambatanya keterbatasan spesifikasi Smart Phone, tidak memiliki smart phone, keterbatasan paket internet, dan siswa juga susah memahami pelajaran. Saran yang dilakukan adalah pembelajan dengan menggunkan Grub WhatsApp secara berkelompok, pembagian puku paket dan LKS dan penjelasan singkat oleh Guru di dalam kelas dan penjelasan guru pada group WhatsApp wali murid.

Abstract

The design of this academic information system aims to make it easier for students, teachers and schools who previously knew quite a long time of information, here I make it easier for students, teachers and schools with an academic information system (online), so that it can be efficient and effective. This journal aims to build an online academic information system. The design system for creating an academic website at MA Nurul Ulum was developed using some Apache Web Server software, PHP and MySQL. The tables used in making the academic web at this school are student tables, teacher tables, grades tables, schedule tables, login tables, attendance tables. All of these tables will later be used to accommodate the data needed in the development of an academic website at MA Nurul Ulum. In this study, the Enterprise Architecture Planning methodology is used, which is the process of defining the architecture in the use of information to support the business and plans to implement the architecture. The architecture itself consists of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture. Architecture here is like a blueprint and a drawing or model. The blueprint resulting from the Enterprise Architecture Planning process will be used as a guide for making blueprints in strategic planning for Management Information Systems and information technology as a whole at MA Nurul Ulum. The use of SWOT analysis to create a system according to the needs for administrative management of Nulul Ulum MA, a school information system that can be used as a means of promotion as well as an academic information system.

Abstract

The head of the Madrasah is the leader in his institution, namely moving, influencing, motivating, and directing his subordinates in the organization or educational institution to achieve predetermined goals. The purpose of this study was to examine how the leadership role of the madrasah head in developing an interest in reading the Qur'an, examine how the leadership style of the madrasah principal in developing an interest in reading the Qur'an and examine the supporting factors in developing an interest in reading the Qur'an in Madrasa Ibtidaiyah Raudlatul Ulum. The research method used in this study uses qualitative methods, with the type of phenomenological research, while using data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the leadership role of the Madrasah Head in developing an interest in reading the Qur'an has an important role in improving the culture of reading the Qur'an, namely that the Head of the Madrasah must have the right strategy in collaborating and encouraging the involvement of all educators in developing an interest in reading. Al-Qur'an. The leadership style of the madrasa head in developing an interest in reading the Qur'an is applied through a democratic, participative, and motivational leadership style, while the supporting factors in developing an interest in reading the Qur'an are creating an environment that can increase interest in reading the Al-Qur'an.
