Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how rewards and punishments influence employee performance at PT Wahana Megahputra Makassar, both individually and simultaneously. This study aims to determine the extent to which rewards and punishments can help employees improve their job performance. A quantitative method with an associative approach was applied in this study. The research involved 60 permanent and contract employees of PT Wahana Megahputra Makassar as the population. The population was selected using a saturated sampling technique, also known as a census. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25 was employed to analyze the data and determine how the independent variables (rewards and punishments) affect the dependent variable (employee performance). The findings indicate that both rewards and punishments have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The results also show that when a company implements a fair and consistent reward and punishment system, employees tend to be more motivated and responsible in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh efektivitas komunikasi dan kerja sama antar tim terhadap kolaborasi karyawan pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif, yang bertujuan menguji hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel menggunakan data numerik. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 56 karyawan yang diperoleh melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan skala Likert, serta didukung oleh observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, uji t (parsial), uji F (simultan), dan koefisien determinasi (R²) dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) efektivitas komunikasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kolaborasi karyawan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa pola komunikasi internal masih terbatas pada penyampaian informasi rutin dan belum mendukung kolaborasi lintas unit kerja; (2) kerja sama antar tim tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kolaborasi karyawan, yang menggambarkan bahwa koordinasi antar unit masih bersifat sektoral (silo) dan belum mendorong sinergi dalam penyelesaian tugas bersama; dan (3) efektivitas komunikasi dan kerja sama antar tim secara simultan juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kolaborasi karyawan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,058 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen hanya mampu menjelaskan 5,8% variasi kolaborasi karyawan, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan penggunaan teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa upaya peningkatan kolaborasi karyawan memerlukan strategi yang lebih komprehensif selain komunikasi dan kerja sama tim, termasuk penguatan budaya kolaboratif, integrasi lintas unit, serta optimalisasi teknologi pendukung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan komunikasi internal terhadap loyalitas pegawai pada Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Loyalitas pegawai merupakan faktor strategis yang berperan penting dalam mendukung efektivitas kerja, stabilitas organisasi, serta keberlangsungan kinerja instansi pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai Sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 43 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert, serta didukung oleh observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara untuk memperkuat pemahaman kondisi empiris di lapangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji asumsi klasik. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui uji parsial (uji t), uji simultan (uji F), serta pengujian koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas pegawai, yang mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja belum sepenuhnya mampu mendorong loyalitas pegawai secara optimal. Sebaliknya, komunikasi internal terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pegawai. Secara simultan, kepuasan kerja dan komunikasi internal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pegawai. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa loyalitas pegawai tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kepuasan kerja, tetapi lebih dipengaruhi oleh efektivitas komunikasi internal serta dukungan sistem organisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Public Service Motivation on Job Satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through Work Engagement, among employees of the Department of Transportation of Makassar City. Understanding the relationship between these variables is essential to improve human resource management practices that foster high-quality public service and sustainable job satisfaction. This research employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 95 employees of the Department of Transportation of Makassar City. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to test both the direct and indirect effects among the studied variables. The results reveal that Public Service Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Furthermore, Public Service Motivation also positively and significantly influences Work Engagement, and Work Engagement has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction. The mediation analysis shows that Work Engagement partially mediates the relationship between Public Service Motivation and Job Satisfaction. This indicates that the motivation to serve the public not only directly affects job satisfaction but also indirectly through higher levels of work engagement.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP, Barru Regency. Does Occupational Safety and Health (K3) have a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment, does Occupational Safety and Health (K3) have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, does job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and does job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence in mediating the influence of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on organizational commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method conducted on employees of PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP, Barru Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 68 employees as samples, while the sampling method is the Slovin method and analyzed using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that Occupational Safety and Health (K3) has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment, Occupational Safety and Health (K3) has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment, Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment, Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment, Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment,positively and significantly mediates occupational safety and health (OHS) and organizational commitment. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Life Balance and Compensation on Organizational Commitment among employees of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office in Makassar City. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of imbalance between work demands and employees' personal lives and the perception of some employees that the compensation received is not commensurate with the workload they undertake. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach, where data is obtained through distributing questionnaires to 105 respondents determined using the Slovin formula from a total population of 146 employees. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that Work Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, meaning that the better the balance between work and personal life of employees, the higher their commitment to the organization. Compensation also has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, indicating that fair and adequate compensation can increase employee loyalty and sense of belonging to the company. Simultaneously, Work Life Balance and Compensation have a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of implementing work-life balance policies and fair compensation systems to strengthen employee commitment to the organization.Keywords: Work Life Balance,Compensation, Organizational Commitment, Employees

Abstract

The technology sector is a key driver of economic growth in today's digital era. However, during the 2021-2023 period, this sector experienced a decline in profitability, as reflected in the companies' financial reports. This issue is the background for this research, which aims to examine the influence of liquidity, activity, and leverage on profitability, as well as the potential mediating effect of firm size in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. The sample selection was carried out by purposive sampling to select company samples that met the criteria for this quantitative research, which uses the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The research findings indicate that while activity and leverage each have a positive but significant impact on profitability, liquidity has a negative but negligible impact. It also shows that firm size does not mediate the impact of activity, liquidity, and leverage on profitability; these findings support the Trade-off Theory regarding the importance of balance in the use of debt, but also indicate limitations in the application of Signaling Theory in the technology sector. This study concludes that high current assets reflect inefficient use of funds. Activity has a positive but insignificant influence, indicating that increased activity has not been accompanied by efficiency in asset management. Leverage also has a positive but insignificant influence, signaling that the use of debt has not been managed optimally. Furthermore, the relationship between liquidity, activity, and leverage on profitability cannot be mediated by organizational size.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline and work motivation on employe productivity at the Maros Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Office. The method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 58 respondents, which included all employes at the office, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program with multiple linear regression analysis to examine the influence of independent variables on work productivity. The research results indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employe productivity, with a calculated t-value of 6.848, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.67 and a significance level of 0.000. This means that the higher the employee's discipline, the more their work productivity increases. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect with a calculated t-value of 7.851 and a significance level of 0.000, indicating that good motivation can drive improved employe performance. Simultaneously, work discipline and motivation have a significant effect on productivity with a calculated F-value of 64.012 > F-table value of 2.40 and a significance level of 0.000. Based on the Beta value, work motivation (0.587) has a more dominant influence than discipline (0.512). However, the coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.103 indicates that only 10.3% of the variation in work productivity can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors such as work environment, competence, and management support. In real-world conditions, even tho employes have good discipline and motivation, external factors also play an important role in increasing productivity. Therefore, human resource management must consider various aspects to improve overall performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengelolaan keuangan dan tata kelola usaha pada Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Bumi Paccellekang Sejahtera Kabupaten Gowa yang bergerak dalam usaha budidaya lobster air tawar. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi lemahnya sistem pencatatan keuangan, belum optimalnya tata kelola usaha, rendahnya pemahaman penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana, serta belum adanya perencanaan usaha yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Desember 2025 melalui metode ceramah, diskusi, pelatihan, simulasi, pendampingan, serta evaluasi kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Peserta kegiatan terdiri atas pengurus BUMDes, aparat desa, dan masyarakat yang terlibat dalam usaha budidaya lobster air tawar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait pencatatan arus kas, penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana, pengendalian biaya produksi, serta penerapan tata kelola usaha berbasis transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Selain itu, peserta mulai memahami pentingnya perencanaan usaha, pemetaan risiko usaha, dan strategi pemasaran budidaya lobster air tawar. Peningkatan pemahaman peserta terlihat dari hasil evaluasi yang menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor post-test dibandingkan pre-test. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas ekonomi masyarakat desa karena pengelolaan usaha menjadi lebih terarah, efektif, dan berkelanjutan. Penguatan manajemen keuangan dan tata kelola usaha terbukti menjadi faktor penting dalam mendukung keberlanjutan usaha budidaya lobster air tawar pada BUMDes Bumi Paccellekang Sejahtera Kabupaten Gowa. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Keuangan, Tata Kelola Usaha, BUMDes, Lobster Air Tawar, Pemberdayaan Ekonomi   ABTRACT This community service activity aimed to strengthen financial management and business governance capacity at BUMDes Bumi Paccellekang Sejahtera, Gowa Regency, which operates in freshwater lobster cultivation. The main problems faced by the partner institution included weak financial recording systems, suboptimal business governance, limited understanding of simple financial reporting preparation, and the absence of systematic and sustainable business planning. The program was conducted in March 2026 through lectures, discussions, training, simulations, mentoring, and evaluations using pre-tests and post-tests. Participants consisted of BUMDes administrators, village officials, and community members involved in freshwater lobster cultivation businesses. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of cash flow recording, simple financial reporting, production cost control, and governance based on transparency and accountability principles. Participants also gained insight into business planning, risk mapping, and marketing strategies for freshwater lobster cultivation. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants’ post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. This activity positively contributed to improving the economic capacity of the village community because business management became more organized, effective, and sustainable. Strengthening financial management and business governance proved to be an essential factor in supporting the sustainability of freshwater lobster cultivation businesses at BUMDes Bumi Paccellekang Sejahtera, Gowa Regency. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of employer branding and job satisfaction on employee retention at PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents who are employees of PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effect of the independent variables (employer branding and job satisfaction) on the dependent variable (employee retention). The results show that, partially, employer branding and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee retention at PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama. Furthermore, simultaneously, employer branding and job satisfaction also have a significant effect on employee retention at PT. Sinar Galesong Pratama.
