Abstract

This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of macroeconomic factors on stock returns at the manufacturing company PT Barito Pacific for the period 2015–2024. The macroeconomic factors used in this study include interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates, as these three variables are economic indicators frequently associated with fluctuations in stock returns. This study employs a quantitative approach using a documentary method. The population consists of all quarterly data from PT Barito Pacific for the period 2015–2024. Sampling was conducted using saturated sampling, in which the entire population was included as the study sample, comprising 40 quarterly data points. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed using SPSS Statistics 2025. The results indicate that, when analyzed individually, interest rates have a positive but insignificant effect, inflation has a negative but insignificant effect, and the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on stock returns. However, when analyzed simultaneously, interest rates, inflation, and the exchange rate do not have a significant effect on the stock returns of the manufacturing company PT Barito Pacific for the period 2015–2024. It is hoped that the results of this study can serve as a reference for investors and future researchers in understanding the relationship between macroeconomic factors and stock returns.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh employer branding terhadap niat melamar pekerjaan, dengan kepercayaan terhadap perusahaan sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausal-asosiatif, yang melibatkan 82 mahasiswa angkatan 2022 Program Studi Manajemen Universitas Negeri Makassar, yang dipilih menggunakan rumus Slovin dan pengambilan sampel acak sederhana. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa employer branding memiliki dampak positif terhadap kesediaan untuk melamar pekerjaan dan tingkat kepercayaan terhadap perusahaan. Kepercayaan terhadap perusahaan juga memiliki dampak positif terhadap kesediaan untuk melamar pekerjaan serta berperan sebagai variabel perantara yang memperkuat hubungan antara employer branding dan kesediaan untuk melamar pekerjaan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa citra perusahaan yang kuat, yang didukung oleh tingkat kepercayaan yang tinggi, dapat meningkatkan kesediaan mahasiswa untuk melamar pekerjaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of internal communication and organizational climate on employee job satisfaction at the Center for Learning and Government Management Policy Strategy, National Institute of Public Administration (Pusjar SKMP LAN) Makassar. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population consisted of all 73 employees of Pusjar SKMP LAN Makassar, and a saturated sampling technique was applied. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression after meeting validity, reliability, and classical assumption requirements. The results indicate that internal communication and organizational climate simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Partially, internal communication shows a more dominant influence compared to organizational climate. These findings suggest that information clarity, effective communication channels, timely information delivery, and open feedback mechanisms play a crucial role in enhancing job satisfaction. Furthermore, a supportive organizational climate characterized by leadership support and harmonious working relationships strengthens employee comfort and engagement. This study contributes theoretically to the development of human resource management literature in the public sector and provides practical implications for improving internal communication management and organizational climate within government institutions.

Abstract

The technology sector is a key driver of economic growth in today's digital era. However, during the 2021-2023 period, this sector experienced a decline in profitability, as reflected in the companies' financial reports. This issue is the background for this research, which aims to examine the influence of liquidity, activity, and leverage on profitability, as well as the potential mediating effect of firm size in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. The sample selection was carried out by purposive sampling to select company samples that met the criteria for this quantitative research, which uses the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The research findings indicate that while activity and leverage each have a positive but significant impact on profitability, liquidity has a negative but negligible impact. It also shows that firm size does not mediate the impact of activity, liquidity, and leverage on profitability; these findings support the Trade-off Theory regarding the importance of balance in the use of debt, but also indicate limitations in the application of Signaling Theory in the technology sector. This study concludes that high current assets reflect inefficient use of funds. Activity has a positive but insignificant influence, indicating that increased activity has not been accompanied by efficiency in asset management. Leverage also has a positive but insignificant influence, signaling that the use of debt has not been managed optimally. Furthermore, the relationship between liquidity, activity, and leverage on profitability cannot be mediated by organizational size.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of work culture and work environment on employee work effectiveness at the Ministry of Population and Family Development (BKKBN) Representative Office of South Sulawesi Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 67 employees with a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS Statistics 27. The results of the study indicate that work culture has a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness, work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness, and work culture and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness. These findings indicate that improving a good work culture and a conducive work environment can improve employee work effectiveness in achieving organizational goals.Keywords: Work culture, work environment, work effectiveness
