Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, among employees of the Soppeng Regency Environmental Service. This study used a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study was all 43 employees of the Soppeng Regency Environmental Service, who also served as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and mediation tests (Sobel). The results indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Employees who work in a comfortable, safe environment supported by harmonious working relationships tend to have higher work enthusiasm and loyalty to the organization. Furthermore, job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, where employees who are satisfied with their jobs demonstrate greater loyalty, responsibility, and commitment to remaining with the organization. This study also found that job satisfaction significantly mediates the effect of the work environment on organizational commitment, thus serving as a partial mediator in this relationship. These findings confirm that improving the work environment not only directly impacts employee commitment but also indirectly through increased job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aim For analyze the marketing strategy implemented by the Middle Star Hotels in face competition. This study is study qualitative in nature descriptive. Population in this study is internal and external parties external from Middle Star Hotels, meanwhile informant study this is Sales Executive, Senior Human Resource Office, and two Customers. Data collection techniques are carried out with technique observation and interview. Data analysis technique used is SWOT analysis, that is something tool analysis used for formulate a strategy or identification various factor strategic based on internal factors as well external. This study results show that position on the Cartecius Diagram appear that Middle Star Hotels located in cell I with use an aggressive strategy, with a winning strategy cost, with give cheap price, so increase power buy consumer,  this show that Middle Star Hotels face a number of opportunity and have various propelling force for get opportunities. Meanwhile, the position of Middle Star Hotels on the internal external matrix is also in cell I, namely position grow and develop or is in integration vertical which is position very competitive market in business powerful hospitality competitive tall between star hotels three other.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on the loyalty of the HIPMI Parepare Commissariat, Makassar State University (UNM) administrators. The research variables consist of leadership style as the first independent variable (X₁), organizational culture as the second independent variable (X₂), and administrator loyalty as the dependent variable (Y). The study population was all 40 active HIPMI Parepare Commissariat administrators at UNM during the study period. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling (census), thus the entire population was included as respondents. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on administrator loyalty, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on administrator loyalty, and simultaneously, both leadership style and organizational culture have a significant effect on administrator loyalty. These findings indicate that the more effective the leadership style implemented and the stronger the organizational culture developed, the higher the level of administrator loyalty to the organization. The synergy between participatory leadership and a healthy organizational culture can create a conducive organizational environment, increase commitment, and strengthen organizational sustainability.

Abstract

This research is grounded in the understanding that employees are the core of organizational sustainability, and their job satisfaction is shaped not only by daily tasks but also by the organization’s ability to manage workload and support balance between work demands and personal life. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and work-life balance on employee job satisfaction at the Class I Correctional Center (Bapas) Makassar. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 54 employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS Statistics 25. The research variables consist of workload and work-life balance as independent variables, and job satisfaction as the dependent variable. The findings indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, suggesting that employees’ perception of being able to complete tasks effectively can increase their comfort and confidence at work. Work-life balance also shows a positive and significant influence, indicating that the ability to manage both work responsibilities and personal life contributes directly to greater feelings of satisfaction, stability, and motivation in performing duties. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect job satisfaction, emphasizing the importance for organizations to regulate workload proportionally while providing space for employees to maintain a healthy life balance. These findings highlight that effective workload management and support for work-life balance are crucial organizational investments to foster a healthy, productive, and employee-centered work environment.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BPSDM) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan secara parsial dan simultan. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana motivasi dan disiplin kerja mampu meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai BPSDM Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 91 responden . Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan pendekatan statistik untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen (motivasi dan disiplin kerja) terhadap variabel dependen (kinerja pegawai). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, sehingga peningkatan motivasi dan disiplin kerja akan berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja pegawai di lingkungan BPSDM Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pelayanan kesehatan menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan akses masyarakat terhadap layanan Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN). Mobile JKN merupakan aplikasi yang dikembangkan oleh BPJS Kesehatan untuk memudahkan peserta mengakses berbagai layanan, seperti informasi kepesertaan, antrean online, informasi iuran, riwayat pelayanan, perubahan data peserta, lokasi fasilitas kesehatan, dan pengaduan layanan JKN. Namun, masih terdapat masyarakat yang belum memahami penggunaan aplikasi tersebut secara optimal akibat rendahnya literasi digital kesehatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital kesehatan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan infografis digital Panduan Mobile JKN di Kecamatan Cina, Kabupaten Bone. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif deskriptif dengan media utama berupa infografis digital. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 25 orang yang merupakan pengguna atau calon pengguna layanan JKN. Materi edukasi meliputi pengenalan Mobile JKN, langkah penggunaan aplikasi, fitur utama, layanan tambahan, dan tips keamanan penggunaan aplikasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kuesioner sederhana untuk mengetahui respons dan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa infografis digital membantu peserta memahami informasi mengenai Mobile JKN secara lebih mudah, ringkas, dan sistematis. Peserta yang sebelumnya hanya mengetahui fungsi dasar aplikasi mulai memahami berbagai fitur penting, seperti Info Peserta, Antrean Online, Info Riwayat Pelayanan, Perubahan Data Peserta, Info Iuran, Info Lokasi Faskes, dan Pengaduan Layanan JKN. Peserta juga memberikan respons positif terhadap media yang digunakan karena tampilannya menarik dan mudah dipahami. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa infografis digital merupakan media edukasi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi digital kesehatan masyarakat serta mendorong pemanfaatan layanan JKN secara lebih mandiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload, work-life balance, and psychological contract on employee job satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Transmission Implementation Unit. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through a questionnaires distributed to all 56 employees. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with SPSS Software. The results of the study indicate that partially, workload has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, while work-life balance and psychological contracts have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Simultaneously, workload, work-life balance, and psychological contracts have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Transmission Implementation Unit.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and individual characteristics on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of the Gowa Regency Trade and Industry Department. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The study population consisted of 49 employees with a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population became respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on OCB with a calculated t value of 9.092 and a significance of <0.001. Conversely, individual characteristics did not have a significant effect on OCB with a calculated t value of 0.507 and a significance of 0.614. Simultaneously, emotional intelligence and individual characteristics had a significant effect on OCB with a calculated F value of 49.647 and a significance of <0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.683 indicates that 68.3% of the variation in OCB can be explained by these two variables, while 31.7% is influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings indicate that emotional intelligence is the most dominant factor in increasing employee OCB behavior.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Individual Characteristics, Organizational Citizenship Behavior
