Abstract

The fundamental premise of this inquiry is directed toward accelerating the competency of maharah al-qirā’ah among students of Class IX C at SMP Islam Al-Bayyinah Makassar, leveraging Powtoon animation media as a pedagogical instrument. The methodological framework adopted embraces a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design oriented toward a mixed-method approach, operationalized through two intervention cycles. Each cycle encompasses critical phases: design, action execution, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques encompass tests, observations, and interviews. Regarding analysis, qualitative data is processed via reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, whereas quantitative data is processed through mean calculation and mastery percentage. Numerical data reveals a significant surge in average scores, escalating from 67.76 in the pre-test to 90.33 by the conclusion of Cycle I, and further advancing from 81.76 to 94.47 in Cycle II. Learning mastery indicators also experienced an escalation, shifting from 41.18% to 88.89% in Cycle I, and from 76.47% to 94.44% in Cycle II. In the qualitative dimension, students exhibited heightened levels of engagement, concentration, and enthusiasm throughout the learning process. This synthesis of data confirms that Powtoon animation media possesses significant efficacy in enhancing students' Arabic text reading capabilities.

Abstract

This research endeavors to reshape the educational landscape by introducing an innovative pedagogical paradigm—integrating thematic teaching grounded in the scientific approach. This study meticulously designs, implements and assesses a holistic educational model to elevate primary education students' learning outcomes. The study delves into the core tenets of integrated learning, capitalizing on the interconnectedness of knowledge. Students are exposed to a dynamic educational experience that transcends traditional subject boundaries by seamlessly weaving diverse subjects into thematic units. The scientific approach serves as the bedrock of this model, fostering inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and evidence-based reasoning. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative assessment tools with qualitative insights, offering a comprehensive understanding of the model's impact. Preliminary findings significantly increase post-assessment scores, affirming the model's efficacy in enhancing subject mastery and cognitive growth. Moreover, qualitative data underscore heightened engagement, collaborative problem- solving, and enthusiasm for learning. The implications of this research resonate beyond the classroom, echoing the call for transformative pedagogical methodologies in a rapidly evolving world. This study bridges the chasm between theoretical constructs and tangible outcomes, advocating for a pedagogical shift that equips students with the skills to navigate complex challenges. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of interactive multimedia on the learning motivation of eighth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP Negeri 37 Makassar. This study is motivated by the low learning motivation of students characterized by a lack of attention, interest, and activeness in the learning process. Therefore, innovation in learning is needed, one of which is through the use of interactive multimedia which is expected to be able to increase student learning motivation. The population in this study amounted to 225 eighth-grade students, with a sample determined using certain techniques to obtain a representative number of respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach with the ex post facto method. The data collection technique was carried out through questionnaires, while data analysis used multiple linear regression to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that the use of interactive multimedia has a positive influence on student learning motivation. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of learning motivation from 65.20 to 78.45, with a percentage increase of 20.32%. In addition, the results of the regression analysis showed a coefficient value of β = 0.62, which indicates a positive relationship between interactive multimedia and learning motivation. The results of the hypothesis test also showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of interactive multimedia has a significant effect on the learning motivation of eighth grade students in Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 37 Makassar.

Abstract

This study examines the role of scientific methods in research on da'wah management as a systematic approach to developing knowledge and practical implementation. The background of this research is the increasing complexity of da'wah activities in the modern era, which requires a more structured, objective, and data-driven approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze how scientific methods contribute to improving the quality of da'wah management research and practice. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method by analyzing various relevant academic sources such as books, journals, and previous studies. The findings indicate that the application of scientific methods plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of da'wah management through systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, the scientific approach supports the development of communication strategies, strengthens human resource competencies, and contributes to social change within the community. However, challenges remain, particularly the dominance of normative approaches and limited methodological capabilities. In conclusion, the scientific method is essential in creating professional, adaptive, and impactful da'wah practices, and its integration should be strengthened to support future research and development in da'wah management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh shift kerja terhadap kelelahan kerja karyawan Kopi Kenangan Balikpapan. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan melibatkan 51 karyawan operasional yang dipilih dengan metode total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan shift kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kelelahan kerja dengan nilai t-hitung = 4,073 > t-tabel = 1,675 dan signifikansi p = 0,000 (< 0,05). Nilai Adjusted R² = 0,250 mengindikasikan bahwa shift kerja menjelaskan 25% variasi kelelahan kerja, sementara 75% sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Secara deskriptif, karyawan shift pagi cenderung mengalami kelelahan rendah, shift sore berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan shift malam menunjukkan tingkat kelelahan tertinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa shift kerja, khususnya shift malam, berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelelahan karyawan, sehingga diperlukan pengaturan jadwal kerja yang proporsional, rotasi shift yang adil, serta pemberian waktu istirahat memadai untuk menjaga kesehatan dan produktivitas.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the number of memorized Qur’anic verses among Class IX A students at Tahfidzul Qur’an Assalam Islamic Boarding School in Sidrap Regency by applying the At-Taisir method. The method serves not only to enrich knowledge about its use in enhancing Qur'anic memorization but also as a contribution of thought for teachers in meeting student needs and as a guideline for solving classroom learning challenges related to Qur’anic education. The research subjects were 20 students from Class IX A. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of two cycles. The procedure followed four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used both qualitative and quantitative approaches.The implementation of the At-Taisir method was conducted over two cycles. The results showed that it effectively improved students’ Qur’anic memorization skills, as evidenced by the mean score of 83.82 in Cycle I and 93.33 in Cycle II. The At-Taisir method also enhanced active participation and understanding of the material, particularly in the aspects of verse repetition accuracy, memorization consistency, review (murojaah) ability, correct verse recall, and reading fluency, with all 20 students achieving complete success. The At-Taisir method proved effective in increasing students' Qur’anic memorization due to its systematic, gradual approach tailored to individual capabilities. Through two implementation cycles, this method improved students' active participation in the memorization process. Students found it easier to understand and memorize verses as the material was delivered simply and sequentially. Furthermore, the method emphasized repetition and reinforcement of memorization, enabling students to maintain consistency. The students’ ability to review memorized verses also improved, as seen in their accuracy. Significant improvement in average scores and the number of students who met learning objectives confirms that the At-Taisir method effectively enhances both the quantity and quality of Qur’anic memorization.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of utilizing wood waste as an interactive learning medium and to identify its benefits in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade students at MIS LKMD Waeperang. The research stems from students’ low understanding of IPAS material due to limited learning media. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that the utilization of wood waste as an interactive learning medium was carried out by processing available materials into a visual model representing the water cycle in IPAS learning. The presence of this media enabled students to grasp the concept more easily through direct observation of the processes displayed in a concrete form. Its use also encouraged active engagement, increased interest, and strengthened students’ understanding and participation throughout the learning process. In addition to helping teachers deliver the material more clearly and attractively, the use of wood waste also fostered environmental awareness by promoting the reuse of discarded materials as meaningful educational tools.
