Abstract

Indonesia, known for its agriculture, has not fully utilized its natural resources and human capital, leading to a decline in agricultural land and poor welfare for farmers. This has resulted in a lack of interest in farming among the younger generation. Islam offers solutions through contracts like muzaro'ah, musaqah, and salam, which can improve farmers' welfare in Indonesia. A qualitative research study focused on the Agricultural Bank of Sudan, a government-owned bank with over 60 years of experience in agricultural financing. The bank adheres to Sharia principles and offers facilities like storage warehouses and financing options such as murabahah, bai taqsith, mudhorobah, salam, muqowalah, and qardhul hasan to support farmers and the microfinance sector. The bank also requires guarantees from customers and conducts feasibility studies to manage risks associated with agricultural financing. To advance Indonesia's agricultural sector, it is suggested to establish a specialized agricultural financial institution or adopt existing contracts used by agricultural banks globally in Islamic financial institutions. This can help improve farmers' prosperity and make farming a more attractive and sustainable occupation. By implementing these strategies, Indonesia can enhance its agricultural sector and uplift the welfare of farmers who play a crucial role in the country's economy.

Abstract

This study examines the factors that affect employee productivity in companies and institutions or institutions. The purpose of this study is to analyze: First, the effect of amyl loyalty on the productivity of institutions on Laznas-BMH. Second, The influence of amyl discipline on institutional productivity in Laznas-BMH. Third. The influence of loyalty and discipline on institutional productivity on Laznas-BMH. To sharpen the analysis of the problems discussed in this study, the author explains the meaning of Zakat, Productivity, loyalty, and discipline according to the review of several experts. The discussion of the Baitul Maal Hidayatullah National Amil Zakat Institute (Laznas-BMH) describes the history of its establishment, BMH, and the programs that have been carried out so far and the development of BMH from its establishment to the present. The data was collected from the library of researt and observation in the field and used a questionnaire with a total of 100 respondents. The data contained will then be analyzed with descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The variables in this study consisted of two free variables, namely loyalty (X1), discipline (X2). The results of this study are first, there is a sinifikan influence between the loyalty of amyl BMH (X1) on the productivity of amyl zakat BMH (Y) with a ttable value of 1.985 and a count of 7.327 meaning thitung 7.325 > of 1.985 with a significance of 0.000<0.025. Secondly, there is a significant influence between the discipline of amyl BMH (X2) on the productivity of amyl BMH (Y) with a ttabel value of 1.985 and a counting value of 2.424, meaning a count of 2.424 > of 1.985 with significance 0.002<0.025. Third, there is a significant influence between the loyalty of amyl BMH (X1) and the discipline of amyl BMH (X2) on the productivity of amyl BMH (Y) with a calculated value of 101.280. Meaning that the calculated value is 101.280>ftabel 2.70 with a significance level of 0.000<0.05.

Abstract

The story of Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) is considered the best story due to the multitude of lessons it offers, applicable at individual, family, community, and state levels. One crucial lesson revolves around Prophet Yusuf's character, demonstrating traits such as integrity, adherence to principles, resilience against temptations, sincerity in serving the nation, competence in treasury management, and knowledge of his responsibilities. Additionally, forgiveness towards those who wronged him exemplifies a pure heart. Another key lesson is the unwavering support extended by the king to Prophet Yusuf, appointing him as a trusted advisor and treasury official with authority over the entire kingdom. Prophet Yusuf's strategic actions during the seven-year famine, serving to save the Egyptians from the crisis, emphasized the importance of assessing threats, raising awareness, planning and executing steps, prudent resource management, fostering community involvement, and maintaining morale over a prolonged period. Ultimately, the success of government initiatives, as seen through Prophet Yusuf's story, hinges on four essential elements working in harmony: a strong and trustworthy leader, robust governmental backing, a well-defined program, and active cooperation and participation from the people. By synergizing these elements, a government can effectively implement and maximize the impact of its programs. The narrative of Prophet Yusuf serves as a valuable guide for individuals and nations alike, showcasing timeless advice on leadership, governance, crisis management, community resilience, and the significance of unity in achieving common goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of productive waqf in Al-Ma'tuq Islamic Boarding School and Islamic Mabda by using the Waqf Core Principles (WCP), also to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, potentials and obstacles of waqf management and to analyze the ideal strategy for the development of productive waqf in pesantren. The research method used is a qualitative method with a field study approach. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Analysis of the data used is descriptive comparative analysis. Keywords: waqf core principles (WPC); productive waqf.

Abstract

Surah Al-Fâtihah, as the greatest surah in the Qur'an, can be obtained, evaluated and tested for the truth of its knowledge through five levels of understanding (Fiqh), namely: Fiqh al-Lughah (Language and the Nature of Knowledge), Fiqh al-Munâsabah (Correlation and Building Structure of Knowledge), Fiqh al-Hidâyah (Instructions and Methods for Obtaining and Testing the Truth of Knowledge), Fiqh al-Idârah (how to Manage the Benefits, Solutions and Neutrality of Knowledge), and Fiqh al-Hadârah (ways of Knowledge solve the problem). The tadabbur analysis of Surah Al-Fâtihah was carried out using an integration approach of three perspectives, namely: First, the perspective of the Philosophy of Science, Second, the perspective of Bloom's Taxonomy regarding the Dimensions of Knowledge, and Third, the perspective of the Tadabbur Methodology. Through a combination of the three perspectives, it can be formulated that Surah Al-Fâtihah is a surah which means Opener, has a philosophy of meaning of victory (Al-Fath) based on openness; both thoughts, heart (beliefs and emotions), and attitudes (behavior and morals). In the context of Constitutional Politics, this Surah inspires constitutionalism as the spirit needed in the formation of a Constitution. Up to the level of the Living Constitution which contributed to the civilization of all humans in the world. Abstract

Keberadaan Walisongo di Pulau Jawa pada abad ke-15 M untuk melaksanakan dakwah itu sebagai fakta sejarah keislaman. Hal ini dapat diungkap secara jelas dan nyata untuk menangkal pendapat yang mengatakan, bahwa Walisongo sebagai mitos religi yang penuh mistik. Pembuktian dalam bentuk fakta, data, dan informasi dalam penelitian ini dapat ditelusuri dari situs-situs sejarah dengan mengonfirmasi kepada para penjaga dan pengaman yang berlangsung secara turun temurun dari pihak pewaris langsung maupun para pejabat di wilayah setempat. Selain itu juga berbagai dokumen dalam bentuk literatur dapat dikaji secara mendalam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang berkaitan dengan strategi dakwah dan unsur-unsur pendidikan agama Islam dalam dakwah Islamiyah Walisongo di wilayah Pulau Jawa. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari literatur dan dokumen dengan analis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-normatif. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, strategi dakwah para walisongo ketika masuk ke tanah Jawa dilakukan secara berkelompok, sistimatis, serempak, dan masif hampir disemua wilayah Pulau Jawa dengan strategi dakwah yang melibatkan pemerintahan dan merangkul budaya, seni, dan tradisi masyarakat setempat sehingga dapat diterima dengan baik tanpa adanya penentangan.  Kedua, unsur-unsur pendidikan agama Islam sebagai topik dakwah Islamiyah para walisongo dengan mengutamakan pendidikan dibidang akhlakul karimah untuk diterapkan oleh seorang muslim dalam menjalani kehidupan.

Abstract

Fatwas authority on sharia economy in Indonesia is under the National Sharia Council of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI). The existence of DSN-MUI outside the central bank structure makes the fatwa authority independent, more credible and nationally recognized in issuing decisions and fatwas related to sharia issues faced by banks and other Islamic financial institutions. In some sharia banks there are different practices. Especially for the management of pilgrimage involving many sectors in it how compliance with the fatwa which has been determined by the National Sharia Council. Though banks are basically not only as a place to seek profit or invest for this world alone but as a way to get closer to Allah SWT. This research will examine the application of Fatwa DSN-MUI No.29 / DSN-MUI / VI / 2002 about Hajj Credit Financing by Islamic Finance Institutions at PT. BPRS Amanah Ummah Leuwiliang Bogor. Research use qualitative approach method with type of qualitative empirical research. The results from this study are administration service of pilgrimage and hajj credit financing on cost of hajj travel in BPRS Amanah Ummah for both features and product details based on sharia is permitted in accordance with the Fatwa DSN-MUI. 29 / DSN-MUI / VI / 2002 about Hajj credit financing in Islamic financial institution. PT. BPRS Amanah Ummah is expected to seek a better system, modern and practical in packing this product. Thus, it can attract prospective customers or prospective pilgrims.

Abstract

Maslahah mursalah is the argument for establishing a new problem that has not been explicitly mentioned in the main sources, the Qur'an and hadith, either accepted or rejected. In this study, the author focuses on finance to describe and analyze in depth the management of Al-Hilal Mosque in Surabaya in the production, distribution, and consumption of infaq funds from the perspective of maslahah mursalah. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach and literature. The results of this study indicate that the financial management of Al-Hilal Mosque Surabaya in 2021, both in the production, distribution, and consumption sectors of infaq funds have legal similarities in the perspective of maslahah mursalah. The similarities include: First, based on the content, it is included in the maslahah ammah category. Second, based on its nature, it is included in the category of maslahah mutaghayirah.Third, based on the level of human needs and interests, it is included in the maslahah dharuriyah category. Fourth, based on the existence and category with Shari'a, it is included in maslahah mu'tabarah (which is acceptable) and maslahah mursalah.
