Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media online laboratory (OLabs) terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Narmada. Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media OLabs pada materi Sel terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan virtual laboratorium berbantuan OLabs, dan kelas kontrol yang diberikan perlakuan tanpa menggunakan virtual laboratorium berbantuan Olabs. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 siswa, yang mempelajari materi struktur sel, osmosis, dan plasmolisis. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen (80,88) dan kelas kontrol (70,73). Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji ANCOVA (p < 0,05), diperoleh nilai probabilitas 0,002 sehingga dapat diambil keputusan bahwa H0 ditolak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media OLabs berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan mendukung pemanfaatan OLabs sebagai solusi alternatif praktikum biologi di sekolah dengan keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium.

Abstract

Instilling social attitudes from an early age is crucial in shaping students' character, especially at the elementary school level. Islamic Religious Education (PAI), as a core subject, plays a strategic role in instilling social values such as empathy, mutual cooperation, tolerance, and responsibility. This study aims to describe how the implementation of project-based PAI learning (PBL) can foster social attitudes in elementary school students. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of students and teachers at a public elementary school. The results showed that project-based activities such as creating posters of Islamic values, social actions in the school environment, and group discussions about the stories of the prophets, were able to improve social interaction, teamwork, and a sense of caring among students. Supporting factors for the success of this learning included the role of the teacher as an active facilitator and student involvement in the process. Meanwhile, obstacles faced included limited time and variations in student character. Thus, project-based PAI learning has proven effective in instilling social attitudes in elementary school students and is worthy of being developed more widely at various levels of elementary education.

Abstract

Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a type of freshwater fish that contains high levels of protein albumin. The research was conducted to determine the albumin content in snakehead fish after the cooking process, both steamed and wrapped. The research was conducted using a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern, the first factor was the cooking method (steamed and wrapped) and the second was cooking time (10, 15, 20, and 20 minutes). Determination of protein albumin levels in snakehead fish after processing using the Biuret method. The steaming process for 15 minutes resulted in protein content in the snakehead fish of 0.76%, while the protein albumin that was lost was 19.28%. The wrapped method for 20 minutes has a remaining protein content of 0.59%, while the missing protein is 38.78%. The method of processing snakehead fish by steaming is better than the wrapping process.

Abstract

Learning media that are in accordance with the needs of learning activities will create effective and efficient learning activities. The purpose of this activity is to train students to compile interesting, concise, and easy-to-understand teaching materials in the form of pocket books. Mentoring is conducted to ensure that the products produced meet students' needs and contribute to the learning process. The design of the pocket book related to the covers made by each group is not restricted, all groups are welcome to explore their abilities, the content or number of pages made is also not restricted, the important thing is that all the materials that are their duties are summarized in the pocket book, The method used in this assistance is the discussion and question and answer method. The results of the assessment of pocket books made by students in terms of format, content, and language used showed that most of the groups were in the good category. It can be concluded that the creation of pocket books gives students experience in developing teaching materials that are interesting, concise, and easy to understand.

Abstract

Gunungsari Village, West Lombok Regency, possesses significant agricultural potential; however, household yard utilization remains suboptimal. This community service program aimed to enhance community capacity through training and mentoring in vegetable, mushroom, and catfish cultivation based on household yard optimization. The program applied an andragogical and participatory approach emphasizing 85% practical activities. Results indicate improved knowledge and technical skills in vertical farming, hydroponics, aquaponics, and small-scale catfish cultivation. The program strengthened household food security, reduced food expenditure, and created additional income opportunities. The integrated yard-based cultivation model demonstrates strong potential for sustainability and replication in similar rural contexts.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online chess platforms has generated large-scale structured game data that can be utilized for data-driven analysis. In blitz mode games, match outcomes are categorized into win, lose, and draw; however, the distribution of these outcomes is inherently imbalanced, with draw representing a small minority of the dataset. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of cost-sensitive learning through balanced class weighting in improving classification performance on an imbalanced large-scale blitz chess dataset. A total of 100,000 rated blitz games were extracted from the Lichess open database and processed through preprocessing, feature extraction, and stratified data splitting. Three supervised learning algorithms - Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree, and Random Forest - were implemented. Model performance was evaluated using Macro F1-score as the primary metric, along with accuracy and 5-fold stratified cross-validation. The results indicate that without cost-sensitive learning, the recall for the minority class (draw) approaches zero despite achieving higher overall accuracy (0.54). In contrast, applying balanced class weighting significantly improves minority class detection, increasing recall for draw up to 0.73 with a Macro F1-score of approximately 0.40, although overall accuracy decreases to 0.45. This demonstrates the trade-off between global performance and minority class sensitivity. Feature importance analysis further reveals that move count is the most influential predictor of match outcomes. These findings confirm that imbalance-aware learning plays a critical role in large-scale chess outcome classification and highlight the importance of appropriate evaluation metrics in imbalanced datasets

Abstract

Improvement competence skill student School Intermediate Vocational (SMK) becomes demands it is important that graduates capable fulfil the needs of the business world and the industrial world. However, there are still there is gap between competence vocational school graduates and needs industry so that required innovation in management curriculum. Research This aim analyze management curriculum system blocks and implementation Project Based Learning (PjBL) in increase competence skill students at State Vocational School 1 North Sangatta. Research use approach qualitative with design studies case. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation with informant head school, deputy principal school field curriculum, head of expertise program, and teachers. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data extraction conclusion with validity test through triangulation. Research results show that management curriculum system integrated block with PjBL implemented through function planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring as well as supported by teacher competence, facilities infrastructure and partnerships industry. Conclusion study shows that implementation system blocks and PjBL capable increase competence skill as well as readiness Work student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang maksimalnya penerapan metode active learning dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak kelas VII di MTs S Adat dan Syara’, Kec. Matur, Kab. Agam. Keaktifan siswa masih rendah dan kondisi kelas kurang kondusif, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran belum tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode active learning serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari guru dan siswa kelas VII, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan validitas data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode active learning sudah berlangsung cukup baik melalui kegiatan seperti tanya jawab, diskusi, team quiz, dan poster comment. Faktor pendukung meliputi kompetensi guru, sarana prasarana, dan minat belajar. Sementara itu, hambatannya meliputi kurangnya kesesuaian bidang guru, keterbatasan waktu, serta rendahnya partisipasi aktif beberapa siswa.
