Abstract

The nganggung tradition has a very important role in cultural transmission and character formation in early childhood in Pangkalpinang City. By utilizing this tradition as an educational tool, PAUD can contribute to the preservation of local culture while forming a generation that has strong character and is based on cultural values. This research aims to analyze the role of the nganggung tradition as a medium for cultural transmission in character building in early childhood in Pangkalpinang City PAUD. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores the transmission of culture in the nganggung tradition in PAUD Pangkalpinang City. The results of the research show that the transmission process is carried out through imitation of the nganggung tradition in society, although it is not completely the same. Meanwhile, the transmission method is carried out by participating in the implementation of this tradition, although their involvement still requires guidance. The elements transmitted in the nganggung tradition are social values ​​in the life of the Melayu people of Bangka. PAUD institutions as a means of cultural transmission have attempted to pass on the cultural legacy to the nation's new generations so that community traditions do not become extinct.

Abstract

HIV AIDS is still a public health problem in Indonesia, with the number of cases reaching 543,100. Key populations such as sex workers, injecting drug users, men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgenders contribute a relatively high proportion of cases. Lack of knowledge and low awareness of the importance of early detection are the main obstacles in prevention efforts. This community service aims to increase knowledge and attitudes and encourage independent HIV screening behavior in key populations through education. The activity methods include counseling and the distribution of leaflets. The activity was carried out in January 2025 in Padang, involving 25 participants from key populations. The stages of this community service include preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The evaluation results of this activity were an increase in knowledge from 55% to 78% and a positive attitude from 50% to 75%, so it can be concluded that community-based education can increase understanding and attitudes about early detection of HIV among key populations.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low quality of the learning process and speaking skills of fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 110 Pinrang. The study aimed to examine how the implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model could enhance the quality of classroom learning and students' speaking skills. A qualitative approach was employed, specifically using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects included one teacher and 18 fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 110 Pinrang. Data collection methods involved observation and documentation, which were analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research was conducted over two cycles. The findings revealed that in both the first and second cycles, the teacher's instructional activities were categorized as good (B). Meanwhile, student activities, which were initially rated as sufficient (C) in the first cycle, improved to the good category (B) in the second cycle. This improvement was also reflected in the students' speaking skills, which increased from the sufficient category (C) in the first cycle to the good category (B) in the second cycle. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share learning model is effective in enhancing both the quality of the learning process and the speaking skills of fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 110 Pinrang

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 19 Rangas, Majene Regency, in utilizing Kahoot, an interactive and engaging online learning platform, to address the challenges of online education and improve teaching quality. The program employed a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, discussions, and evaluations. Conducted on July 13, 2023, the training involved 18 participants and emphasized practical engagement to ensure effective skill development. The training achieved a 90% attendance rate and demonstrated high enthusiasm among participants, as reflected in active participation during practical sessions and discussions. Evaluations indicated an 85% understanding of the processes and a 90% success rate in achieving learning objectives. The program effectively enhanced teachers’ capacity to integrate Kahoot into their teaching, fostering interactive and engaging learning environments. It addressed key online learning challenges, such as lack of engagement, while improving pedagogical outcomes. The training successfully equipped teachers with the necessary skills to utilize Kahoot as an innovative learning tool, contributing to improved teaching practices and student engagement in online education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of earnings management practices in Indonesia during the period 2015–2024 by examining the internal and external factors that influence them and reviewing the relevance of the underlying theories. Based on the analysis of 100 selected academic articles, it was found that industrial sectors with high levels of earnings management practice risk include manufacturing, property and real estate, telecommunications and infrastructure, food and beverages, and banking. The non-cyclical consumption sector shows a relatively medium risk. The earnings management phenomenon is explained through the theoretical framework of Agency, Positive Accounting, and Signaling, which describes the existence of conflicts of interest, the selection of strategic accounting policies, and the use of earnings as a signal to the market. The results of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening corporate governance and technology-based monitoring systems to mitigate earnings management risks in the future.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa kelas IV. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Example Non Example untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS Kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 5 Massepe. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Example Non Example untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPAS di Kelas IV. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 17 yaitu 1 guru kelas IV dan siswa yang berjumlah 16. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus. Pada siklus I hasil penelitian terkait proses pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi cukup (C) dan keaktifan belajar siswa berada pada kategori Baik. Siklus II hasil penelitian terkait proses pembelajaran berada dalam kualifikasi baik (B) dan keaktifan belajar siswa berada pada kategori Sangat Baik. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Example Non Example dapat meningkatkan proses dan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPAS di Kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 5 Massepe.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar IPAS siswa melalui implementasi model game based learning yang didukung oleh wordwall. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas V (terdiri dari 12 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan) serta seorang guru. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Capaian pada siklus pertama menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran berada pada kategori cukup, sementara motivasi belajar siswa tergolong cukup. Setelah adanya perbaikan pada siklus kedua, terjadi peningkatan menjadi kategori baik untuk aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta kategori sangat baik untuk motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model game based learning berbantuan wordwall berhasil meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar IPAS siswa kelas V di UPTD SD Negeri 145 Barru.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesehatan mental saat ini menjadi isu yang menarik untuk diteliti khususnya di kalangan remaja. Aspek biologis dan psikososial seringkali menjadi faktor penyebab depresi pada remaja. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas tidur dan aktivitas fisik terhadap kejadian depresi pada remaja berdasarkan data sekunder Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) 5.   Metode: Penelitian dengan design studi potong lintang menggunakan data sekunder IFLS-5 pada periode pengumpulan data tahun 2014 sampai 2015 yang melibatkan 3.580 remaja usia 14-19 tahun. Penilaian depresi menggunakan instrument Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CESD-10) dengan kategori depresi apabila ditemukan skor lebih dari 10 poin. Variabel lain yang diukur meliputi karakteristik demografi (usia, tempat tinggal, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan), aktivitas fisik, kualitas tidur dan indeks masa tubuh. Untuk melihat hubungan antara faktor risiko dengan kejadian depresi dilakukan analisis secara bivariat menggunakan Chi Square dan multivariat menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil: Mayoritas subjek penelitian adalah perempuan, tempat tinggal di urban, dan pendidikan SMA. Kejadian depresi pada remaja ditemukan sebesar 30,2%. Secara independen jenis kelamin perempuan, aktivitas fisik berat, serta kualitas tidur yang buruk (p<0,001) berkaitan dengan kejadian depresi pada remaja. Analisis multivariat menujukkan faktor kualitas tidur yang buruk meningkatkan kecenderungan 2,728 kali lebih tinggi untuk mengalami depresi. Sementara aktivitas fisik rendah meningkatkan 1,655 kali untuk terjadinya depresi pada remaja.   Simpulan: Angka kejadian depresi pada remaja mencapai 30,2%, memperbaiki pola hidup termasuk kualitas tidur dan aktivitas fisik menjadi faktor penting untuk mengurangi kecenderungan kejadian depresi pada remaja. Pentingnya intervensi berbasis pola tidur sehat dan peningkatan aktivitas fisik dalam upaya pencegahan depresi pada remaja.

Abstract

Production is a process in which goods or services called inputs are converted into goods or services called outputs. Where the production function shows how much maximum output can be produced if a certain amount of input is used in the production process. The object of research at PD. Daya Jaya, the author examines the production section where the process of calculating production costs used is still less effective. The system created applies the Order Costing Method, where the order costing method is a method that produces based on each order, collecting the cost of production using the order costing method. The methodology used to build this system uses the waterfall method. The programming language used in creating web-based applications consists of hypertext preprocessor (PHP), hypertext markup language (HTML), cascading style sheet (CSS). The results of this study are web-based applications where there are several features in the admin section, there are accounts, raw materials, auxiliary materials, factory overhead, employees, orders, incoming raw materials, incoming auxiliary materials and order history. Then in the production section there is production and in the owner section there is a report feature where the owner can view and print reports

Abstract

Tanaman bunga kenanga (Cananga odorata) dan serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) memiliki potensi sebagai tanaman yang mampu membunuh nyamuk Aedes sp.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas konsentrasi kombinasi ekstrak bunga kenanga (Cananga odorata) dan serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) terhadap kematian nyamuk Aedes sp.. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment Design), dimana kombinasi esktrak bunga kenanga dan ekstrak serai wangi dengan konsentrasi 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10% disemprotkan ke nyamuk kemudian dilakukan pengamatan selama 24 jam. Analisis data penelitian ini dengan One Way Anova dan Post hoc untuk melihat perbedaan antar konsentrasi kemudian dilakukan analisis probit untuk melihat LC50. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi 10% kombinasi ekstrak bunga kenanga dan serai wangi menunjukkan perbedaan dengan kontrol, nilai LC50 setelah kontak 24 jam adalah 16,76%. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah kombinasi ekstrak bunga kenanga (Cananga Odorata) dan serai wangi (Cymbopogon Nardus) efektif untuk mematikan nyamuk Aedes sp. dengan konsentrasi 16,76%. Disarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk menaikkan konsentrasi dan rentang antar konsentrasi.
