Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a person's height is shorter than the height of other people in general (of the same age). The prevalence of stunting in Lebak Regency in 2021 was 27.3%. There were 110 toddlers (21%) recorded as stunting cases in Tambakbaya village, which is the highest stunting case in Cibadak sub-district, Lebak Regency in 2023. This study aims to determine the aspect of maternal knowledge about the causes of stunting and other factors related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Tambakbaya village, Lebak Regency. The research design was case control. The simple random sampling technique was used for sampling with a total sample of 130 toddlers consisting of 65 stunted toddlers for the case group and 65 non-stunted toddlers for the control group. The study was conducted from March 2024 to March 2025. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 44.6% of mothers ho had toddlers had less knowledge about stunting (44.6%). The results of the -square statistical analysis showed that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge (p = 0.000), birth weight (p = 0.038), body length (p = 0.031), family income (p = 0.013) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. While the variables of exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.325), education (p = 0.47) and the mother's age at first marriage (p = 0.263) statistically did not show any relationship with the incidence of stunting. Integrated nutrition education in schools, community education through health centers, campaigns on social media or mass media, and the need for families to maintain their health during pregnancy and meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women so that the growth of the fetus they are carrying has a normal weight and length at birth, so that it can reduce the risk of stunting in children.

Abstract

This research explores and develops new theories about the trends of the contemporary Muslimah da'wah movement in building Sakinah, Mawaddah, and Rahmah families in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, this research explores the concepts, strategies, and patterns of da'wah used by the Muslimah da'wah movement in building Islamic family resilience, namely sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah families. The result of this research is that the concept of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family used by the Muslimah da'wah movement refers to QS. ar-Rūm: 21 is not clear, especially the aspect of mawaddah so that it has an impact on the da'wah movement which includes elements and also management of building a sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah family. This can be seen in the imbalance in the distribution of da'wah materials, especially those related to sex education and husband and wife relationships in the family. Sex education and healthy interaction or behavior of husband and wife as an integral part of da'wah can provide positive input for the family. The collaboration of social media with formal and non-formal education in stages by including family sciences in the curriculum is needed to help individuals internalize religious values, facilitate deeper understanding, and stimulate spiritual reflection in the family.

Abstract

The primary goal of this study was to explore and analyze the factors impacting the production and efficiency of wetland rice cultivation. Data collection occurred between December 2023 and January 2024 in the Balen District of Bojonegoro Regency. A sample of 60 farmers was randomly chosen for the study. Data analysis was conducted using the Stochastic Frontier Cobb-Douglas Production Function with the Frontier 4.1c software employing Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). The study findings revealed that variables such as land size, NPK and organic fertilizers, labor, planting season, and pesticides all positively influenced wetland rice production, while seed quantity had a negative impact. All variables, except pesticides, exhibited significant effects at confidence levels above 10 percent. The technical efficiency of farmers in the research area was determined to be satisfactory, with an average technical efficiency (TE) of 75 percent, ranging from 43 percent to 95 percent. Educational outreach and guidance were identified as factors capable of reducing technical inefficiency or enhancing farming efficiency. Although factors like land ownership status and experience were associated with increased inefficiency, their statistical significance was minimal, with only land ownership significantly affecting technical inefficiency.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to develop a digital-based village website for Surabaya Village as an information medium and a platform to promote local potential. The main problem faced by the village is the limited access to information and the absence of an accessible public information system. The program was implemented in three stages: planning (data collection and identification of information needs), implementation (website development with thematic content such as village profile, governance structure, public services, and local potential), and evaluation (functional testing and technical training for village officials). The results indicate that the developed website improves information access, enhances transparency in public services, and promotes village potential to a wider audience. It also serves as a two-way communication tool between the village administration and the community. The evaluation found that village officials still require further assistance in managing the website content independently. Overall, this program demonstrates that village information digitalization can be effectively applied with local human resources and ongoing support

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the suitability of the coastal waters of Sungai Bakau, Kumai District, as an alternative site for sea cucumber (Holothuria scabra) aquaculture. Water quality parameters, including temperature, salinity, and pH, were monitored, along with the growth performance of sea cucumbers in terms of body weight and length during the cultivation period. The results showed water temperatures ranging from 28–31°C, pH values between 8.3–8.7, and an average salinity of 20.5 ppt. Although the salinity was slightly below the optimal range (28–32 ppt), the sea cucumbers demonstrated positive growth. Final measurements indicated an increase in body weight from 10–20 grams to an average of 0.29 kg, and in body length up to 16.7 cm over approximately three months of cultivation. These findings suggest that the coastal waters of Sungai Bakau have potential for sea cucumber aquaculture development, with some adjustments needed to optimize salinity conditions.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of corporate culture in creating a conducive work environment that enhances employee productivity. A strong corporate culture is believed to shape positive and productive attitudes, character, and work behaviors; however, these effects do not occur directly, but rather through employee loyalty. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of corporate culture on employee productivity with work loyalty as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey method among employees. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires. A total of approximately 100 employees participated and filled in this data, of course, to permanent employees of the company and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that corporate culture has an indirect effect on employee productivity, but a significant positive impact on work loyalty. Furthermore, work loyalty has a significant positive effect on employee productivity. Additionally, it was found that work loyalty strongly mediates the relationship between corporate culture and productivity. These results emphasize the importance of strengthening organizational culture as a strategy for improving employee performance indirectly by increasing work loyalty. This finding highlights that building a strong work culture is insufficient for companies if it is not complemented by strategies that foster employee loyalty. Organizational culture must be translated into real practices, such as employee empowerment, two-way communication, and recognition of individual contributions. Training programs on cultural values, internal discussion forums, and a fair reward system are practical steps that need to be adopted. This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate culture on employee productivity with work loyalty as a mediating variable. This study was conducted at a manufacturing company. By understanding this relationship, it is hoped that the company can design a more effective workplace culture strategy to increase employee loyalty and productivity sustainably.

Abstract

Background: Anemia remains a prevalent public health issue, particularly among adolescent girls, due to increased iron needs and menstrual blood loss. Conventional iron supplements are often associated with side effects and low compliance. Moringa oleifera, known for its high content of iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, and protein, offers a promising natural alternative to improve hemoglobin levels. Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the impact of Moringa leaf capsule supplementation on hemoglobin levels in anemic female students at STIKES Graha Edukasi Makassar. Method: A quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach was employed. Thirty female students diagnosed with anemia were selected using purposive sampling. Each participant was given Moringa leaf capsules (2 × 500 mg) daily for 14 consecutive days. Hemoglobin levels were measured before and after the intervention using a digital hemoglobinometer. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: Prior to the intervention, all participants were classified as anemic, with most in the moderate category. Following the 14-day supplementation, 90% of the students reached normal hemoglobin levels, while 10% remained in the mild anemia category. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference in hemoglobin levels before and after the intervention (p < 0.0001), indicating that Moringa supplementation was effective. Conclusion: Supplementing with Moringa leaf capsules significantly improved hemoglobin levels in anemic female students. The synergy of iron, vitamins, and protein in Moringa supports hemoglobin synthesis and enhances iron absorption. Suggestions: Health professionals are encouraged to promote Moringa as a natural supplement for anemia prevention and treatment. Educational institutions should consider integrating local herbal-based nutrition programs. Further research with larger samples and extended durations is recommended to validate these findings.
