Abstract

Background: Based on 2020 World Health Organization (WHO) data, the incidence of dysmenorrhoea is 1,769,425 (90%) women suffering from dysmenorrhoea, with 10-16% suffering from severe dysmenorrhoea. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in the world is very high. Symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea usually appear in women of childbearing age and women who have never been pregnant (Indah & Susilowati, 2022). Astarto wrote that dysmenorrhea is a type of menstrual discomfort that mostly attacks the lower abdomen, but can also spread to the upper thighs, calves, lower back and waist. There are two types of dysmenorrhea: primary dysmenorrhea, and secondary dysmenorrhea. Research Objective: To determine the effectiveness of abdominal effleurage massage and warm water compresses on dysmenorrhea pain in female midwifery students at STIKes As Syifa Kisaran in 2024. Method: The research method used is a type of quantitative research, namely quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre test-post design. test design. Research Results: Based on the analysis of research data, it was found that the effect of abdominal effleurage massage and warm water compresses on dysmenorrhea pain in midwifery students was very effective in reducing dysmenorrhea pain in midwifery students, where the results of the study showed the intensity of dysmenorrhea pain in midwifery students before and after it was carried out. abdominal effleurage massage and warm water compresses with a mean value of 1.96. This means that the dysmenorrhea pain scale in midwifery students after abdominal effleurage massage and warm water compresses experienced a decrease in dysmenorrhea pain. Keywords: Abdominal effleurage massage and warm water compress, dysmenorrhea pain

Abstract

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic, present in Indonesia for 17 months, has significantly impacted mental health, especially in individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Studies in Europe reported a 17.9% to 60.3% increase in OCD symptom severity. Notably, no research in Indonesia has explored the pandemic's effects on OCD patients. Lockdown measures in Indonesia may exacerbate symptoms, but some OCD patients benefit, finding relief from societal stigmatization and the opportunity to advise others on infection prevention. This review aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on OCD patients in Indonesia and discuss potential management strategies. Methods: We conducted a comprehensive literature search, identifying studies, articles, and reports relevant to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on OCD patients in Indonesia. These sources were critically evaluated to provide a comprehensive overview. Results: This review reveals that the pandemic poses unique challenges to OCD patients in Indonesia. Lockdown measures may worsen symptoms, although some patients find relief from societal stigmatization. OCD patients can play a valuable role in advising others on infection prevention. Telemedicine, especially CBT, and medication adherence tools are crucial for effective management. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic affects OCD patients in Indonesia in various ways. It is essential to recognize how lockdown measures impact symptom severity and the opportunities for patients to contribute positively to society. Telemedicine and medication adherence tools are valuable for managing OCD during the pandemic. Addressing the needs of OCD patients and implementing effective strategies for their care during COVID-19 is essential in Indonesia.

Abstract

One way to improve color quality is by feed nutrition engineering. This study aimed to determine the effect of the level of artificial feeding made from moringa (Moringa olefera) leaf flour on the color brightnees level of koi crap. The material used was moringa leaf flour, wich contains protein and caratenoids that can increase fish’s color brightnees and growth. The study employed an experimental method using a completely randomized design with four treartments and three replications. Furthermore, the treatments consisted of treatments A (5%); treatment B (10%); treatment C (15%); and treatment D (20%). The stocking density was ten fish/aquarium, and the feeding frequency was twice daily. The findings indicated that the provision of moringa leaf flour as the main igredient of artificial feed had a significant effect (p< 0.05) on color improvement and a highly significant effect (p<0.01) on weight gain. Moreover, the result signified that the highest increase in color was in treatment C from 11.69 to 16.95, the highest increase in absolute length growht was in treatment C with a value of 1.35 cm, and the highest increase in absolute weight gain was in treatment C manely 2,29 gr.

Abstract

This research aims of determine the effect of adding papaya extract which countains the papain enzyme on the growth and survival of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio). It is conducted for 35 days at the Andalas Fish Seed Center (BBI), Kota Tengah, Gorontalo Province. The research method applies a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. It is done by adding a dose of papaya extract containing the papain enzyme as P1 (Control), P2 (0,25g), P3 (0,50gr), P4 (0,75 gr). Moreover, the parameter observed include weight and length growth as well as survival. The result show that the addition of papaya extract to feed can increase the growth rate of the goldfish see weight with the best value of 0,48% in the P3 treatment and 0,65% in length growth. Meanwhile, the lowest value is shown in the P1 treatment of 0,25% for weight and 0,46% for length. Futhermore, the highest survival is achieved in the P4 treatment at 81,67% and the lowest in the P1 treatment at 33,33%. The addition of papaya extrac to the feed does not affect the growth in its length and weight but does affect the survival. On the other hand, the water quality during the research ranges from 27-27,2oC, with pH 8,0-8,1 and DO 5,8-6,2 Mg/L.

Abstract

This research entitles the analysis of communicative translation at the opening speech of the KTT G-20 Bali Summit by President Jokowi: We must end the war”. The use of communicative language in translating text using the communicative translation method. Communicative language is used so that readers or listeners can take meaning from the contents of the text in accordance with the meaning that has been written by the author. This communicative language is always successful if it is used in the same language as the target language. However, it will be very much different. If the contents of the text use a different language. Then the translator must be able to translate the contents into the text in the target language. This is a little difficult to implement because translators still find it difficult to distinguish between free translation and communicative translation. Therefore, the translator must first analyze the text whether it is in accordance with the linguistic aspects or its content so that it can be accepted and understood by the reader. In this case, this research is based on the translation carried out in the speech of Opening Speech KTT G20 Bali Summit by President Jokowi: We Must End the War. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted to describe and find out what form of communicative language that used in speech text. It also aims to compare the meaning of the original speech text with the translated text, whether the meaning of the two texts remains the same or changes. In addition, it is a source for readers to know how to analyze communicative translation.

Abstract

Cases of bullying in the school environment are still a problem that continues to occur today. One of the causes of bullying in the school environment is the lack of student morale. The cultivation of character values is indispensable to overcome the moral crisis. The purpose of this study was to see how much influence Akidah Akhlak learning has on bullying between students. Using causal quantitative methods, samples were taken from the entire population, namely 36 junior high school students Islam Al-Fadhli. The analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression through the formula: Y = a + bX, obtained by the equation Y = 6.582 - 0.612X. Because the value of the regression coefficient is positive (+) it can be concluded that Akidah Akhlak Learning affects bullying between grade VIII students of Al-Fadhli Islamic Junior High School Although through the results of this study, the influence of Akidah Akhlak learning on bullying in schools is still very small. However, this still has an impact in an effort to minimize bullying in schools..
