Abstract

Introduction: An essential part of Indonesia's National Education Standards are the infrastructure and facilities for education. All formal and informal educational institutions are required to provide facilities that assist students' physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and psychological development, as stipulated in Article 45 of the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003. Objective: In order to create a school facilities and infrastructure management model that is focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this project will integrate the 5S Kaizen industrial work culture into vocational schools (SMK Negeri) in the Bireuen Regency. It also assesses how useful and successful the model is at streamlining school facility management. Method: The study used Plomp's model as part of its Research & Development (R&D) process, which consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment. Principals, vice principals, heads of expertise programs, workshop leaders, administrative leaders, and effective teachers were among the participants. Validated by expert evaluations, implementation observations, response surveys, and competency tests, the research tools included a model book, an implementation manual, and a module guide. Results: The average validation scores for the generated model were 4.57 (model), 4.62 (implementation handbook), and 4.63 (module guide), indicating strong validity. Positive participant response rates in trials I and II were 85.91% and 86.31%, respectively, indicating that classical completeness was attained. The N-Gain analysis classified its effectiveness as moderate, showing competency gains of 61.75% and 62.21%. Conclusion: The model promotes ongoing advancement in vocational education by encouraging an organized, industry-based approach to SDG-aligned school facility management. For policymakers and school administrators working in vocational education settings, this study offers a novel paradigm for incorporating industrial methodologies—specifically, 5S Kaizen—into the administration of educational infrastructure.

Abstract

Termination in counseling guidance comes from two initiatives. First, the lecturer's initiative and second, the student's initiative, either negative or positive. Termination occurs, including the realization of hopes in the counseling guidance process and the failure to realize hopes in the counseling guidance process. both lecturer's initiative and student or student-based e-counseling initiative. This study aims to determine the strategies of lecturers or lecturers in implementing termination of counseling guidance in the learning process. Counseling termination is the last step for lecturers so that students understand that the counseling and guidance session will end. In it, there are various messages and reinforcements for students which are part of the last strategy as a hope that the message or teaching material can be implemented in the future by students or students. The method in this study uses an interpretive method. The results of this discussion indicate that the termination strategy for counseling guidance is outlined in two termination directions including: first termination at the end of the counseling guidance session. second termination at the end of the counseling guidance session. termination at the end of the counseling guidance session contains the following points: (a) the lecturer opens effective communication as a signal that the session will end (b) the lecturer opens opportunities for mentoring for students and closes with words of thanks, appreciation and prayer. Furthermore, termination at the end of counseling in which the lecturer prepares: (a) languages that lead students to understand that counseling will end. (b) the lecturer provides opportunities for discussion in the form of notes and questions to conclude the results (c) formal termination which ends with prayer. From the results of this study, the termination strategy can also be implemented in various learning models, both self-directed learning, contextual, cooperative, collaborative and so on.

Abstract

This research examines the ways in which Indonesian local literary narratives formulate and perpetuate cultural identity amid globalizations. It specifically examines the symbolic representations in Entrok by Okky Madasari and Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori through Roland Barthes’ semiotic framework, focusing on denotation, connotation, and myth. The study utilizes a qualitative text analysis approach, relying on comprehensive readings of the novels and supplemented by secondary literature. Symbols like the Entrok (a traditional Javanese brassiere) and the sea are identified and coded using a deductive method based on Barthes’ categories. The results show that Entrok criticizes patriarchal control and class-based oppression by changing the meaning of everyday objects. “Laut Bercerita,” on the other hand, shows the sea as a sacred place of ecological awareness and collective resistance. These symbols function on various semiotic levels, demonstrating literature’s role as a medium for cultural negotiation and ideological critique. The research finds that Indonesian local literature is essential for maintaining cultural resilience and identity development, providing educators and policymakers with effective methods to enhance cultural awareness through storytelling.
