Abstract

In the educational context, secularization refers to the separation of religious values from the formal education system. This process is often associated with a reduction in the role of religion in the school curriculum, which places more emphasis on scientific and rational aspects. On the other hand, educational liberalization gives schools more freedom to create their own learning programs, and often ignores moral and spiritual aspects. This phenomenon can cause students to lose religious principles, which can result in loss of identity and a decline in moral quality. Therefore, this research aims to learn more about how the challenges of secularization and liberalization affect PAI and the solutions that can be used to maintain its relevance.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the efforts to improve the ability to read the Qur'an through the Iqra' method in Deah Rungkom Elementary School students, Aceh Besar Regency. The background of this research is the low ability to read the Qur'an among primary school students, which is caused by the lack of effective and sustainable learning methods. The Iqra' method was chosen because it is practical, systematic, and easy to understand by children of primary school age. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that the application of the Iqra' method in a structured and intensive manner can significantly improve the ability to read the Qur'an. In addition, teacher involvement, parental support, and the availability of sufficient study time are supporting factors in the success of this method. In conclusion, the Iqra' method is effective in improving students' ability to read the Qur'an, especially if applied with a consistent and communicative approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar materi Interaksi Desa Kota Melalui Model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD Di SMA Negeri 5. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Reserch) yang dilaksanakan dengan rancangan model siklus melalui empat tahapan, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi serta menggunakan pre tes dan pos tes. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII IPS-2 di SMA Negeri 5 Pamekasan yang terdiri dari 25 siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD berhasil mewujudkan tujuan penelitian. Keberhasilannya dinyatakan atas dasar kesimpulan bahwa Model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD memberikan dampak instruksional berupa: (1) Pembelajaran materi interaksi desa kota dapat berhasil dengan baik apabila menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD. (2) Penggunaan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan minat belajar mata pelajaran geografi siswa kelas XII IPS-2 semester ganjil di SMA Negeri 5 Pamekasan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 pada materi interaksi desa kota. Hal ini ditandai dengan hasil yang dicapai siswa pada siklus 1 dengan nilai skor tertinggi 90 sebesar 12,00%. Dan nilai rata-rata bisa diketahui dari hasil yang dicapai siswa sebesar 76,60. Dan hasil yang dicapai siswa pada siklus 2 dengan nilai skor tertinggi 100 sebesar 16,00%. Dan nilai rata-rata bisa diketahui dari hasil yang dicapai siswa sebesar 85,00. (3) Pembelajaran materi interaksi desa kota dapat diterima oleh siswa karena siswa merasa menyenangkan, merupakan bagian dalam belajar, mempunyai manfaat bagi kehidupannya, sehingga siswaa menjadi lebih kretif, inovatif, dan mandiri yang dapat menciptakan ide-ide baru untuk memecahkan masalah lingkungan di sekitarnya.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: The effective implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) in elementary schools faces numerous challenges, including resource limitations, inconsistent leadership quality, cultural acceptance issues, and inadequate stakeholder involvement. Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors that influence successful IQAS implementation in elementary schools, focusing on resource availability, school leadership, cultural support, structured quality improvement processes (PDCA cycle), and the role of external stakeholders. Novelty: While prior research has examined general aspects of quality assurance in education, this study uniquely analyzes the combined effects of resource allocation, school culture, and stakeholder collaboration, providing a holistic view of factors essential for IQAS success in elementary settings. Research Methods: A qualitative case study approach was employed, including semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis from selected elementary schools. Data triangulation and thematic analysis were used to ensure reliability and depth in findings. Results: Findings reveal that resource sufficiency, proactive leadership, a strong culture of quality, systematic application of the PDCA cycle, and active stakeholder engagement are critical to successful IQAS implementation. Research Contributions: This research provides a framework for policymakers and school administrators to enhance IQAS in elementary schools, emphasizing the importance of integrated resource support, leadership development, cultural alignment, and community involvement to achieve sustainable quality assurance.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: The growing economic diversity in elementary schools presents significant challenges to the effective implementation of multicultural education. Students from different socioeconomic backgrounds often experience varied levels of access to resources and support, which influences their engagement and outcomes in multicultural learning environments. Purpose: This study aims to investigate the obstacles and potential strategies for implementing multicultural education in socioeconomically diverse elementary classrooms, focusing on how economic diversity impacts student engagement, teacher preparedness, and parental expectations. Novelty: While previous research has explored racial and ethnic diversity in education, this study uniquely addresses the underexplored dimension of socioeconomic diversity, adding depth to multicultural education frameworks by emphasizing economic inclusivity. Research Methods: A qualitative approach was utilized, involving semi-structured interviews with teachers, administrators, and parents, along with classroom observations in economically diverse elementary schools. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify key patterns and challenges. Results: The study reveals that economic diversity can hinder multicultural education effectiveness due to resource disparities, inconsistent teacher training, and varied parental expectations. Schools with higher funding reported better engagement and outcomes, highlighting the importance of resource allocation. Research Contributions: This research provides theoretical insights by integrating economic diversity into multicultural education frameworks and practical recommendations for educators and policymakers to enhance inclusivity in diverse school settings.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan dalam merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran online interaktif yang efektif dan menarik. Di era digital saat ini, pendidik dituntut tidak hanya menguasai teori pembelajaran, tetapi juga mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Sayangnya, masih banyak mahasiswa calon guru yang belum memiliki keterampilan teknis maupun pedagogis dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini dirancang sebagai upaya strategis untuk membekali mereka dengan pengetahuan dan praktik langsung dalam penggunaan berbagai platform edukatif seperti Canva, PowerPoint interaktif, Genially, dan H5P. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan workshop intensif yang meliputi pemaparan materi, demonstrasi alat, praktik mandiri, serta evaluasi hasil karya peserta. Materi pelatihan difokuskan pada prinsip desain instruksional, pembuatan konten interaktif, pemanfaatan multimedia, dan penerapan evaluasi pembelajaran digital. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test serta penilaian terhadap produk media yang dihasilkan peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran online interaktif. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan sikap yang lebih positif dan percaya diri dalam mempersiapkan diri menjadi pendidik yang adaptif dan inovatif. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mempersiapkan generasi pendidik profesional yang mampu menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

This research was motivated by direct experience of seeing cases of bullying at school during the Field Experience Program (PLP). This experience inspired us to dig deeper into teachers' effective handling patterns in dealing with bullying cases. The aim of this research is to instill teachers' handling patterns in dealing with bullying in early childhood and to find out what factors support and hinder teachers in handling bullying at RA Raushan Fikr, South Tangerang. This research uses descriptive qualitative, the researcher attempts to describe the activities studied on certain objects clearly and systematically. The main research data sources are the school principal, class B teacher, class B teacher. Secondary data sources include books, journals, previous theses. The results of this research are (1) Treatment pattern: the teacher provides special assistance with a careful and loving approach, counseling and protection, the teacher provides clear rules and direction for children regarding expected and unexpected behavior in the classroom. The teacher conducts an evaluation after providing assistance. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors: teacher awareness about bullying, good communication skills, and school policy support. The obstacle is the lack of cooperation between parents and the school, lack of education about bullying.

Abstract

Objective: This study discusses the use of the Educaplay interactive platform on students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities in learning about flat shapes in grade V elementary school. Through a comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-test results, it can be seen that Educaplay is able to improve students' cognitive abilities from 60 to 86.67%. As well as affective abilities of 81.84 to 88.08% and Psychomotor Abilities of 80.94 to 85.17%, respectively. In addition, Educaplay also succeeded in providing student involvement during the learning process, so that the learning process became more interactive and interesting. Educaplay provides a more diverse learning experience and makes it easier for students to understand the concept of flat shapes more deeply. The research findings show that the application of Educaplay technology-based media in the learning process has a positive effect on students' cognitive, affective, psychomotor abilities and improves the quality of teaching at the elementary school level. The research findings recommend the use of Educaplay as a learning tool to improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities.

Abstract

Komplain pasien di rumah sakit menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara harapan pasien dan layanan yang mereka terima. Jika tidak dikelola dengan tepat, keluhan ini bisa mengurangi kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap rumah sakit dan merugikan reputasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan keluhan pasien melalui pendekatan narrative literature review. Kajian dilakukan terhadap 7 artikel ilmiah relevan yang diperoleh melalui pencarian database Google Scholar, dengan proses seleksi divisualisasikan menggunakan diagram PRISMA. Artikel yang dianalisis merupakan publikasi nasional berbahasa Indonesia yang diterbitkan pada periode 2020–2025. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa sumber utama keluhan pasien berasal dari tiga aspek: (1) kualitas tenaga kesehatan, seperti pelayanan yang lambat dan sikap kurang profesional; (2) keterbatasan fasilitas, misalnya ruang yang sempit dan peralatan medis yang tidak memadai; serta (3) komunikasi yang kurang efektif antara petugas dan pasien. Selain itu, ketidakmampuan memenuhi ekspektasi emosional dan budaya pasien turut memicu munculnya komplain. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan kompetensi sumber daya manusia, memperbaiki sarana prasarana, dan membangun komunikasi yang empatik agar keluhan dapat dioptimalkan sebagai bahan evaluasi dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pelayanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap toleransi siswa kelas IV SDN 067257 Medan Amplas melalui penerapan model pembelajaran role playing. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada kurangnya sikap toleransi terhadap perbedaan agama, budaya, dan pendapat di kalangan siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), penelitian ini mengimplementasikan siklus pembelajaran untuk melihat perubahan sikap siswa. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan penilaian sikap toleransi siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan model role playing, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam sikap toleransi siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 2-3 pada pra-tindakan menjadi 4 pada siklus kedua. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran role playing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap toleransi siswa terhadap perbedaan.
