Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Working Capital Credit and People's Business Credit (KUR) on company profitability at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Bulukumba Branch Office. This study uses secondary data obtained from banks' annual financial reports for the 2017-2021 period. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous influence of the two types of credit on profitability. The research results show that Working Capital Credit has a significant influence on bank profitability, which is in line with the theory that this credit provides the liquidity needed for operations and increases interest income. In addition, KUR also shows a significant influence on bank profitability, which supports the importance of this credit in expanding financial inclusion and increasing the customer base. Simultaneously, the combination of Working Capital Credit and KUR makes a significant contribution to profitability, which shows the importance of credit portfolio diversification in improving bank financial performance. The uniqueness of this research is its focus on the simultaneous influence of Working Capital Credit and KUR on bank profitability, which is rarely analyzed in previous studies. Additionally, this research was conducted in the context of regional banks, which provides a new perspective on credit management and profitability outside of large or national banks. These findings provide an important contribution to the literature on credit management and bank financial performance, as well as providing practical guidance for bank management in optimizing credit strategies to increase profitability. This research also provides insight for future researchers to develop further studies that can explore other variables that influence bank profitability and can enrich understanding of the dynamics of credit management in the banking sector.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the evaluation for learning development during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Pasangkayu. The dynamics of learning in schools during a pandemic needs to be described so that the right program can be designed. Given the many problems found in the field, it is very important to examine the learning process that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic in Pasangkayu. The results of the study show that the application that is widely used by teachers in the Pasangkayu is WhatsApp. Most teachers do not use online learning applications. This shows that teachers in the Pasangkayu do not have the skills to use digital applications in learning. However, some teachers have used Google for Education, teacher rooms and learning houses as a means of interacting with students online. The recommendations that can be used as alternative policies are make sure students return to school with communicating with parents and the community, complete proper school infrastructure, place a strong emphasis on learning recovery, restore student learning discipline, supporting the independent curriculum, provide training on the use of learning technology to teachers, development of interests and talents in the form of art, holding competitions between districts/schools such as competitions, expand access to distance learning by expanding internet connections, encourage schools to participate in the driving school program, involve parents in school development, ensure that these low-income students receive additional support, cooperate with the private sector, and conducting a technology skilled installation and literacy movement campaign.

The secondary data sources are books, theses, journals, literature, and other data sources that can be used as complements. The data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of this study, there are five stages of empowering people with disabilities carried out by the Social Services Department of Gowa Regency, namely Social Rehabilitation Guidance, Resocialization Guidance, Evaluation (Monitoring), Termination, and Follow-up Guidance. The supporting factors in the empowerment of people with disabilities through life skills training by the Social Services Department of Gowa Regency are complete facilities and infrastructure, as well as trained human resources. The inhibiting factors are differences in educational and intellectual backgrounds and ethical or psychological factors of people with disabilities. The implications of this study are expected to encourage the Social Services Department of Gowa Regency to improve and maintain empowerment activities for people with disabilities that are comfortable and make them feel treated equally with non-disabled people. Additionally, it is hoped that they can increase the types of skills training for people with disabilities if their number increases, so they have more options to choose which skill field they want to enter. This will help to increase the number of people with disabilities in Gowa Regency who have not been empowered, giving them the opportunity to be empowered and employed well according to their conditions, thus producing more creative and independent people with disabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover how social capital is organised within a fishing community and analyse how social capital affects the well-being of fishermen in the Sikuyuh fishing community. The research variables include fishermen's household welfare, norms, networks, and trust levels. The influence of several components of social capital was analyzed using multiple regression techniques. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaire, observations, and documentation, while the research sample used census method. Variables were measured using a Likert scale and score-based assessments for each indicator. The study results reveal that the presence of social capital in the Sikuyuh fishing group encompasses norms that are implemented and upheld in the community. Social interactions within the group provide benefits to fishermen, such as collaboration in mutual aid activities, sharing information, and offering mutual support to sustain their livelihoods. High levels of trust among fishermen foster strong relationships and help prevent potential conflicts within the Sikuyuh fishing group. The multiple regression analysis produced the equation: Y = 1.247 + 0.126X₁ + 0.589X₂ + 0.329X₃. This equation shows that fishermen's household welfare (Y) is influenced by three variables: norms (X₁), networks (X₂), and trust (X₃). It reveals that the analyzed components of social capital significantly impact the welfare of fishermen's households. This finding emphasizes that the higher the social capital possessed by members of the Sikuyuh fishing group, the greater its positive impact on their household welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education, training, and motivation on employee performance at the Rappocini District Office, by involving 89 employees as a sample. The uniqueness of this study lies in its deep focus on the specific context in the Rappocini District Office, so that the results can provide more relevant insights for management in the government sector. The results of the study show that partially, education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, where employees with higher education tend to have better performance. Training also has a positive and significant effect, helping employees improve the skills and knowledge needed to carry out their duties. However, motivation shows a negative but significant influence on employee performance, indicating that excessive motivation can lead to pressures that reduce performance. Simultaneously, these three variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, demonstrating the importance of a holistic approach in employee development to improve overall performance. The managerial implications of this study emphasize the need to develop structured training programs and better assessment of motivational factors, in order to create a more productive and supportive work environment.
