Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover how social capital is organised within a fishing community and analyse how social capital affects the well-being of fishermen in the Sikuyuh fishing community. The research variables include fishermen's household welfare, norms, networks, and trust levels. The influence of several components of social capital was analyzed using multiple regression techniques. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaire, observations, and documentation, while the research sample used census method. Variables were measured using a Likert scale and score-based assessments for each indicator. The study results reveal that the presence of social capital in the Sikuyuh fishing group encompasses norms that are implemented and upheld in the community. Social interactions within the group provide benefits to fishermen, such as collaboration in mutual aid activities, sharing information, and offering mutual support to sustain their livelihoods. High levels of trust among fishermen foster strong relationships and help prevent potential conflicts within the Sikuyuh fishing group. The multiple regression analysis produced the equation: Y = 1.247 + 0.126X₁ + 0.589X₂ + 0.329X₃. This equation shows that fishermen's household welfare (Y) is influenced by three variables: norms (X₁), networks (X₂), and trust (X₃). It reveals that the analyzed components of social capital significantly impact the welfare of fishermen's households. This finding emphasizes that the higher the social capital possessed by members of the Sikuyuh fishing group, the greater its positive impact on their household welfare.

Abstract

SIMALIS Cafe merupakan sebuah usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) di bidang kuliner yang berlokasi di Batam, Kepulauan Riau, menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan daya saing di era digital. Sebagai solusi, proyek ini mengusulkan pembuatan website company profile dan menu digital untuk memudahkan akses informasi, meningkatkan visibilitas, dan mengoptimalkan pengalaman pelanggan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan analisis data. Website dikembangkan menggunakan WordPress dengan fitur-fitur seperti menu digital berbasis QR code, pemesanan online, dan informasi lengkap tentang cafe. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam visibilitas, efisiensi operasional, dan kepuasan pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, digitalisasi melalui website company profile dan menu digital terbukti efektif dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan daya saing SIMALIS Cafe. Saran untuk pengembangan selanjutnya mencakup pemeliharaan rutin, pembaruan konten, dan pengumpulan umpan balik pelanggan untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education, training, and motivation on employee performance at the Rappocini District Office, by involving 89 employees as a sample. The uniqueness of this study lies in its deep focus on the specific context in the Rappocini District Office, so that the results can provide more relevant insights for management in the government sector. The results of the study show that partially, education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, where employees with higher education tend to have better performance. Training also has a positive and significant effect, helping employees improve the skills and knowledge needed to carry out their duties. However, motivation shows a negative but significant influence on employee performance, indicating that excessive motivation can lead to pressures that reduce performance. Simultaneously, these three variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, demonstrating the importance of a holistic approach in employee development to improve overall performance. The managerial implications of this study emphasize the need to develop structured training programs and better assessment of motivational factors, in order to create a more productive and supportive work environment.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping the quality of human resources in a nation. As one of Indonesia’s leading higher education institutions, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta (UAD) is committed to continuously improving the quality of education, particularly within the Master's Program in Educational Management (PSMMP). The PPL Internship Activity Report provides an overview of the development and implementation of policies to enhance educational quality in the Master’s Program in Educational Management at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta. The PPL activities were designed from preparation through execution, evaluation, and reporting stages. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. From the PPL Internship activities, it was observed that in developing and implementing policies, PSMMP UAD employs several strategies, including: a) conducting an interactive, holistic, integrative, scientific, contextual, thematic, effective, collaborative, and student-centered system of learning, based on research and best practices, b) developing and implementing an outcome-based education curriculum that is student-centered, c) fostering students’ professional, innovative, and dedicated character grounded in progressive Islamic values, d) engaging in community service relevant to the field of educational management, aimed at improving educational practice, and f) publishing scholarly works in educational management in both national and international journals.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how coastal women's economic activities help improve family welfare and what factors encourage coastal women to carry out economic activities in Sapolohe Village, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is classified as qualitative, using sociology as a scientific approach to analyzing research results. The results of this research show that the forms of economic activity of coastal women in improving family welfare include working as seaweed binders/panyikko bibi', sea catch traders, and culinary trading businesses. The factors that encourage coastal women to carry out economic activities include: Economic factors, including: the husband's relatively low income level, increasing family needs, and the number of family dependents. Educational factors, namely the low level of education possessed by coastal women as well. Social and cultural factors, including: increasing social status, competing to develop oneself, certain interests and abilities, and filling free time.

Abstract

Antenatal Care adalah layanan kesehatan ibu hamil guna menurunkan angka meninggalnya bayi serta ibu. Pelaksanaan program antenatal care memiliki tujuan guna mempersiapkan untuk kebaikan mental serta fisik dan menyeleamtkan anak serta ibu di saat sedang hamil, masa bersalin hingga nifas. Temuan ini memiliki tujuan guna melihat faktor yang mempunya ikaitan dengan kunjungan antenatal care pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Sudiang Kota Makassar Tahun 2024. Peneliti menerapkan jenis penelitian kuantitatif melalui penelitian cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan ibu hamil di Puskesmas Sudiang Kota Makassar dengan banyak populasi sebanyak 136 ibu hamil dan besar sampel sebanyak 101 ibu hamil yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus lameshow. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan dari pengetahuan kunjungan ANC melalui p (value) = 0,033, tidak adanya keterkaitan dari jarak tempat tinggal pada kunjungan ANC melalui p (value) = 0,463, tidak terdapat keterkaitan dari fasilitas kesehatan pada kunjungan ANC melalui p (value) = 0,279, tidak adanya keterkaitan dari pendamping untuk melakukan pemeriksaan pada kunjungan ANC melalui p (value) = 0,262, adanya keterkaitan antara perilaku petugas kesehatan pada kunjungan ANC melalui p (value) = 0,019, tidak adanya keterkaitan antara keberadaan petugas kesehatan di tempat pada kunjungan ANC melalui p (value) = 0,926, terdapat keterkaitan diantara ketepatan waktu pelayanan pada kunjungan ANC dengan p (value) = 0,000. Temuan ini memiliki kesimpulan yaitu adanya keterkaitan dari pengetahuan, perilaku petugas kesehatan, dan ketepatan waktu pelayanan dengan kunjungan ANC. Diharapkan kepada ibu hamil untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya tentang pentingnya ANC dan diharapkan pula untuk pihak puskesmas untuk memberikan pelayanan yang ramah serta pelayanan yang cepat dan tepat terhadap pelayanan pada ANC.

Abstract

Vulnerability exploitation in education websites often leads to data breaches, negatively impacting learning activities, notably higher education, which is highly susceptible to such attacks. This research evaluates the effectiveness of two-factor authentication in mitigating exploitability. To analyze issues further, vulnerability assessment tools, such as Burp Suite and ZAP, can explore website vulnerability and the CIA Triad framework (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability). The analysis revealed three medium-level vulnerabilities and six low-level vulnerabilities; key topics such as CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) and XSS (Cross-Site Scripting), compromise integrity, and MITM (Man-In-The-Middle) attacks threaten Confidentiality, these vulnerabilities indicate non-compliance with CIA Triad, mitigation strategy such are VPN (Virtual Private Network), and WAF (Web Application Firewall) were proposed. While two-factor authentication improves security, additional fixes and optimizations are required for its effective implementation in the education sector.

Abstract

Pijat merupakan salah satu metode pengobatan tertua di dunia. Pijat meliputi seni perawatan kesehatan dan pengobatan yang mampu melemaskan sendi yang terlalu kaku dan menyatukan organ tubuh dengan gosokan yang kuat. Pijat bayi dan pijat ibu hamil pada masyarakat etnik Jawa di Desa Patila sudah menjadi salah satu tradisi yang dilakukan turun-temurun. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali informasi mengenai manfaat pijat bayi dan pijat ibu hamil terhadap kualitas tidur, nafsu makan, dan kebugaran masyarakat  etnik Jawa di Desa Patila Kecamatan Tana Lili Kabupaten Luwu Utara Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi fenomenologi, penelitian kualitatif adalah suatu pendekatan penelitian yang mengungkap situasi sosial tertentu dengan mendeskripsikan kenyataan secara benar, dibentuk oleh kata-kata berdasarkan teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang diperoleh dari situasi yang alamiah. Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh kualitas tidur,nafsu makan dan kebugaran pada bayi dan ibu hamil sebelum diberikan pijat lebih  cenderung dengan kualitas tidur yang kurang baik, terkadang bayi rewel, sulit tidur di malam hari dan setelah diberikan pijat bayi tidurnya lebih nyenyak dan lebih lama sehingga berpengaruh juga kepada daya tahan tubuhnya, begitu pun dengan ibu hamil dengan kualitas tidur yang baik dapat meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dan mengurangi resiko terjadinya anemia.

Abstract

This research aims; describes the background of the tei'ano wine ceremony in the Siompu community in South Buton Regency, describes the procession of carrying out the tei'ano wine ceremony in the Siompu community in South Buton Regency, reveals the symbolic meaning and values ​​contained in the tei'ano wine ceremony. The sources used consist of primary sources in the form of interviews, archives/documents, and secondary sources in the form of articles, books, magazines, journals, obtained from libraries and personal collections. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The aim of using this method is to create a systematic description, picture or painting of facts, characteristics and conclude data that has a relationship between the phenomena being studied. To obtain accurate data in connection with this research, in-depth interview techniques were used with the main informants and observation techniques or direct observations of the objects studied. Some of the main findings of this research are (1) The cultural tradition of tei'ano wine is a traditional ceremonial ritual of the farming community in Siompu. This ceremony is carried out after opening agricultural land, as an expression of prayer so that in the future the results will be abundant and free from pest pests. (2) The tei'ano wine ceremony or deliberation is carried out in baruga, which is attended by traditional institutions consisting of elements of sara and elements of law. (3) a. Social Values; deep wine tei'ano ritual Social life is essentially an activity of imitating and continuing the activities of humans in the past. b. Religious Values; The religious element in the tei'ano wine ceremony is reflected in the ritual of requesting the Almighty, so that the plants planted are kept away from pests and the results are bestowed. c. Cultural Values; The cultural value of the Tei'ano wine ceremony has become an ideology and justification for the importance of the ceremony. And if this culture is not implemented it will have a bad impact on people's lives

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of critical thinking skills and student learning motivation on the learning outcomes of IPAS. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Petobo using a survey method with a quantitative approach. Data collection involved administering critical thinking skills test questions and distributing learning motivation questionnaires, while IPAS learning outcomes were obtained from the mid-term test results of fifth-grade students. The sample consisted of 19 students, including 13 male and 6 female students. The collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS. The normality test results confirmed that the data met the assumptions required for further statistical testing. The findings indicate that critical thinking skills and learning motivation significantly influence IPAS learning outcomes, as evidenced by an F-count value of 184.417 and an R-value of 0.967. Additionally, critical thinking skills were found to have a significant impact on student achievement in IPAS. Similarly, learning motivation was identified as a crucial factor affecting learning outcomes. These findings highlight the importance of fostering critical thinking and motivation to enhance students' academic performance. This study underscores the need for educators to integrate strategies that strengthen these aspects of the learning process.
