Abstract

The issues addressed in this paper are how the digital revolution influences the development of Islamic culture and the challenges Muslims face in navigating these changes. Furthermore, it is important to understand the positive and negative impacts of the digital revolution on Islamic cultural values. The purpose of this research is to analyze the dynamics of change in Islamic culture within the context of the digital revolution and to identify strategies that can be implemented to maintain and strengthen Islamic values. The research also aims to understand the adaptation of Muslim communities to digital technology. The method used in this research is a qualitative study using a literature analysis approach and observation of the phenomenon of digital technology use within Muslim communities. Data was collected from primary and secondary sources related to digital developments and the dynamics of Islamic culture. The results show that the digital revolution has brought about a major transformation in the way Muslims access, disseminate, and practice their cultural values. In addition to strengthening Islamic communication and education, digital technology also poses challenges in the form of the dissemination of inaccurate information and rapid changes in traditions. Muslim communities must be able to balance cultural preservation with the wise use of technology. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Klinik Gigi Razzaq Dental Care di Kota Marabahan yang menghadapi persaingan dengan berbagai klinik swasta baru sehingga membutuhkan keunggulan kompetitif melalui peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan pasien, dengan populasi pasien pengguna layanan dan sampel sebanyak 96 responden melalui teknik Nonprobability Sampling. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survei, pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner berskala Likert, serta analisis statistik menggunakan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pasien, sehingga pihak klinik perlu terus memperhatikan dan mengoptimalkan kedua aspek tersebut untuk mempertahankan loyalitas dan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (KKL) is an integral part of the academic curriculum designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This study aims to analyze the implementation of public service delivery at the Social Security Administration Agency for Employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) in Nagoya Batam Branch, with a specific focus on participant administration and social security claims processes. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing direct observation, active participation in operational activities, and documentation throughout the internship period. The findings reveal that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has established a service system characterized by responsiveness, accuracy, and technological integration. Despite the progress, several operational challenges remain, including unstable internet connectivity and limited hardware capacity. This practical experience has provided students with firsthand insight into public administration processes, service quality management, and the application of digital tools in social security services. The study underscores the importance of experiential learning in strengthening students’ professional competencies and preparing them for the dynamics of the public sector workforce.

Abstract

Kalor selalu bergerak dari benda dengan suhu lebih tinggi ke benda yang suhunya lebih rendah sesuai dengan Hukum II Termodinamika, kemampuan sebuah wadah untuk menahan laju perpindahan panas sangat penting untuk mempertahankan suhu. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan ini, 250 ml air dengan suhu awal 100°C digunakan untuk memeriksa laju penurunan suhu air panas dalam termos dan wadah plastik dengan pengukuran dilakukan setiap 30 menit selama 180 menit. Menurut hasil pengamatan, suhu air dalam termos menurun lebih lambat dibandingkan dengan suhu air dalam wadah plastik. Suhu air dalam wadah plastik menurun menjadi 44,2°C pada akhir pengamatan, sementara suhu air dalam termos tetap pada 79,5°C. Perbedaan ini menunjukkan bahwa isolasi termos lebih efektif dalam mencegah perpindahan panas. Hasil penelitian kuantitatif, yang menunjukkan bahwa termos kehilangan panas lebih lambat dibandingkan wadah plastik, mendukung hal ini. Menurut konsep sistem tertutup dalam termodinamika, termos lebih efektif dalam menjaga suhu air.

Abstract

The food sector in Indonesia has experienced significant growth over the past few decades, supported by stable economic growth, changes in lifestyle, and increasing urbanization. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector contribute significantly to the economy, accounting for approximately 61.07% of the Gross Domestic Product and absorbing 97% of the workforce. This study aims to develop an integrated and contextual business viability model for food MSMEs by combining aspects of market, technical, financial, managerial, environmental, and risk and sustainability factors, using use of digital marketing strategis, good financial management of the business. The financial viability analysis using NPV, IRR, Payback Period, and BEP methods indicates that the business is feasible and profitable. The SWOT analysis highlights opportunities for franchise development and digital market expansion, but also identifies challenges such as intense competition and fluctuating raw material prices. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions for the development of adaptive, efficient, and sustainable business strategies for food MSMEs in the digital era of Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of communication technology has significantly transformed adolescents’ patterns of social interaction, one of which is reflected in the phenomenon of phubbing, namely the tendency to ignore interlocutors due to excessive focus on smartphones. This study aims to analyze the forms of phubbing behavior and its impact on the quality of social interactions among adolescents in Gang Karang Rejo, Medan City. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a purposive sampling technique involving five adolescents aged 14–18 years as the main informants, with parents serving as supporting informants. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, followed by verification using source and method triangulation. The results indicate that phubbing has become a normalized daily habit among adolescents, characterized by frequent smartphone use during interactions, repetitive checking of notifications, feelings of anxiety when separated from the device, and decreased focus during face-to-face communication. This behavior negatively affects the quality of social interactions, as seen in reduced empathy, weakened emotional closeness with family members, and the loss of togetherness during social encounters. The discussion highlights that phubbing is no longer an individual behavior but has developed into a broader social phenomenon that shapes the relational dynamics of adolescents within their families and communities, suggesting the need for educational strategies, parental guidance, and controlled smartphone use to maintain a balanced integration of digital and face-to-face interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design the facility layout of Dev Bakery & Pizza to improve operational efficiency and space utilization. The research applies the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method to identify the level of inter-area relationships and the Total Closeness Rating (TCR) to determine the priority of operational connections between facilities. Based on the result, the dining area and product shelf obtained the highest TCR values, indicating their crucial role as central activity zones that support smooth workflow. An optimized layout design can enhance spatial efficiency, streamline material and labor movement, and strengthen interactions between employees and customers, thereby improving overall operational effectiveness.

Abstract

Many primary school students continue to experience or engage in bullying at school, particularly verbal bullying such as insults and teasing. This behavior negatively impacts students' psychological well-being and learning processes. Teachers play a crucial role in preventing bullying through effective learning strategies and character education. This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in addressing verbal bullying using a literature review approach. The findings indicate that effective strategies include: early identification of bullying behavior, implementation of anti-bullying programs, and reinforcement of core values such as empathy and responsibility, and strong classroom management. In addition, educational sanctions serve as an important deterrent. These strategies are essential in creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
