Abstract

Senyawa antioksidan sangat dibutuhkan oleh tubuh untuk menangkal radikal bebas dari lingkungan, salah satu bahan alam yang mengadung senyawa antioksidan adalah ampas kopi arabika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat formulasi gel antioksidan dari ekstrak air ampas kopi arabika dan menguji efektivitas antioksidan dari gel yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Box-Behnken Design dengan 3  faktor (x) (carbopol 940, TEA dan ekstrak ampas kopi) dan 3 level untuk optimasi. % inhibisi yang dihasilkan oleh gel ekstrak ampas kopi arabika rata-rata adalah 32,650%. Model desain quadratic dipilih dalam penelitian karena berpengaruh signifikan terhadap % inhibisi dengan nilai p-value yaitu 0,0013 dan ketidaksignifikan lack of fit  dengan F-value 1,24 dan nilai p-value 40,54%. Solusi optimal yang dihasilkan dari Box-Behnken Design adalah dengan formulasi carbopol 940 0,500 gram; TAE 0,600 mL; dan ekstrak 2,408 mL akan menghasilkan inhibisi 39,282% dengan desirability 0,965. Ampas kopi arabika memiliki potensi besar dalam bidang kesehatan sebagai sumber senyawa aktif dalam sedian farmasi.

Abstract

Investment and the capital market are inseparable and have a strong influence on the economy both individually, in the business world, and nationally. One of the types of mutual funds in Indonesia that is in great demand by investors is Capital Protected Funds. This study aims to know the performance of Capital Protected Funds compared to market and other mutual funds in the 2016-2021 period. Then to analyze the influence of macroeconomic factors on the performance of Capital Protected Funds before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis used to process the data in this study was quantitative analysis using descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study is the performance of Capital Protected Fund in the period before the COVID-19 pandemic with Sharpe value of 0.669 was better for market performance and for money market and equity fund. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic the performance of Capital Protected Fund was decreased. Macroeconomic factors that showed a significant influence on the performance of Capital Protected Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic are the IHSG, Bank Indonesia interest rates, and the money supply.

Abstract

Over the next years, Indonesia’s traditional gold mining technique (that employs mercury amalgamation) will be gradually replaced by cyanidation as a result of a Presidential Decree that has been recently issued. The cyanide-containing waste resulting from the processing tanks of this new method will be generally sedimented and flow directly into the surrounding small rivers. This study aimed to reduce the impact of cyanide contamination on the environment by using the simple activated carbon that can be produced by artisanal small-scale gold mining (ASGM). Water samples were taken from artificial wastewater as part of three replications. The highest recorded removal of cyanide from sewage was 98.43%, with an equilibrium reached at a fixed adsorbent dosage of 0.05 g over a contact time of 24 hours. Cyanide adsorption was also found to be pH-dependent, with the highest cyanide adsorption occurring at a pH of 8. The adsorption capacity for cyanide was estimated at 12.51 mg g-1 of the adsorbent, and it was considered to function based on a Langmuir isotherm model. The findings of this study confirm that the utilized glass wool in the assessed method can increase the yield of activated carbon, thereby offering a low-cost and effective adsorbent that can be used in order to remove cyanide from ASGM wastewater.

Abstract

BPK audit report on a government financial report contains an opinion that is a professional statement of the auditor regarding the fairness of financial information presented in the financial statement. In forming an opinion, a BPK auditor uses four criteria: the application of the Government Accounting Standard, adequate disclosures, compliance with laws and regulations, and effectiveness of internal control systems. The unqualified opinion is issued to a financial report with no material statements and/or fraud. However, it is widely reported that many irregularities still occur across government entities and cost the state's resources (finance). This study aims to analyze corruption committed by heads of local governments and its influence on BPK opinion and build a model which shows the relationship between them. This study uses a model called ordinal logistic regression and finds a correlation between BPK opinion and corruption committed by heads of local governments. The best ordinal logistic regression model shows that BPK opinion is dominantly influenced by the compliance of government financial reports with Government Accounting Standard, compliance with laws and regulations, and effectiveness of internal control systems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai modal sosial dan transisi dari sub dimensi modal sosial serta dampaknya terhadap ketimpangan pembangunan wilayah di Provinsi Papua Barat. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan kuisioner dan wawancara mendalam terhadap responden menunjukan bahwa nilai modal sosial berada pada kategori “kuat” dan telah terjadi transisi sub dimensi modal sosial dari thick trust menjadi thin trust yang disebabkan karena responden telah tinggal menetap secara bersama, budaya inklusif orang papua, otonomi khusus, dan kawin campur. Hasil penelitian lebih lanjut menunjukan bahwa model ekonometrika dengan regresi logistik menjelaskan bahwa variabel trust (X2), dengan nilai odds ratio sebesar 18.75 memberikan implikasi bahwa trust (kepercayaan) mempunyai dampak yang lebih besar dalam mengurangi tingkat disparitas wilayah sebesar 18.75 kali dibandingkan dengan norm (X3), network (X4), dan tempat tinggal (X5) jika nilainya sama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bisnis model agroindustri silika dari sekam padi dengan pendekatan Bisnis Model Kanvas. Sekam padi diproses menjadi silika dilakukan melalui proses pembakaran dengan suhu tinggi. Arang sekam padi mengandung sekitar 72,1% silikon oksida dan meningkat menjadi 94,95% setelah dibakar pada 700 oC selama 6 jam, sedangkan abu sekam kering mengandung silikon oksida sekitar 80% - 90%. Arang dan abu sekam padi dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber silika dan silikon. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki prospek untuk mengembangkan agroindustri silika berbasis sekam padi sebagai alternatif bahan baku terbarukan. Metode yang digunakan untuk membangun model bisnis adalah Business Model Canvas (BMC). Business Model Canvas adalah metode visual menggambarkan bagaimana suatu perusahaan membuat dan melakukan bisnis. Visualisasi dengan kanvas lebih komunikatif, hal ini akan mendeskripsikan model bisnis secarasederhana untuk dimengerti. BMC diuraikan dalam sembilan komponen yaitu Customer Segment, CustomerRelationship, Customer Channel, Revenue Stream, Value Proposition, Key Activities, Key Resource, Cost Structure, dan Key Partners. BMC perlu dilakukan sebagai acuan untuk mengisi kanvas model bisnis pengembangan agroindustri silika, tidak hanya berkaitan dengan manfaat atau keuntungan tetapi juga cara organisasi menciptakan, menyampaikan, dan menangkap nilai secara rasional. Silika yang dihasilkan dari proses pirolisis dalam skala medium memiliki kemurnian yang tinggi. Proses produksi silika berbahan dasar sekam padi memiliki potensi yang baik untuk dikembangkan menjadi agroindustri silika sebagai bahan baku alternatif terbarukan.Kata kunci: business model canvas (BMC), rice husks-based silica

Abstract

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the host country’s economic growth is often discussed without considering the abundance of natural resources in the host country. The present study examines the relationship between FDI and economic growth while considering the presence of natural resources. Using panel data regression with data from 124 countries, the study finds that FDI inflows are increasing significantly, with pronounced differences between countries based on their per capita income levels. The results of the panel data regression analysis show that both FDI and natural resources positively affect economic growth. However, an increase in natural resources reduces the overall impact of FDI on economic growth. This result suggests that countries should attract FDI in sectors outside of natural resources to maximize the positive effects of FDI on economic growth.JEL Classification: F43, O4, P28, P45, Q0How to Cite:Fajrian, M. Abstract

Jabababeka merupakan kawasan industri terpadu yang ada Indonesia, kawasan ini menggunakan sistem Food Chain reactor (FCR) yang bertujuan untuk menjawab tantangan tentang permasalahan yang ada di di Jababeka seperti 3 R limbah B3 dan konservasi air. Penggunaan sistem FCR pada jababeka salah satu nya adalah dengan menggunakan tanaman dan bakteri sebagai cara untuk mengurangi hasil limbah B3. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 3 faktorial deengan 3 ulangan. Pengamatan parameter tinggi tanaman, berat basah, dan berat kering tanaman, sebagai salah satu cara dalam menentukan tanaman tersebut dapat tumbuh dengan baik dan beradaptasi pada lingkungan WWTP II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan tinggi tanaman di ketiga lokasi reaktor sebesar 31,6083 cm – 52,2458 cm, kemudian berat basah bertambah dari waktu ke waktu sebesar 519 -573,11 gram, dan berat kering tanaman diketiga reaktor bertambah sebesar 353,333 – 660, 208 gram,. Laju pertumbuhan tanaman menunjukkan tanaman Canna indica terjadi penurunan (perlambatan) pertumbuhan di ketiga reaktor sebesar 3, 22 – 3,24 g/hari (J1), 3,31 – 3,32 g/hari), 3,37 – 3,37 g/hari, dan Wrightia religiosa terjadi penurunan laju pertumbuhan sebesar 2,61 – 0,27 g/hari sedangkan di J2 dan J3 penurunan (perlambatan) sebesar 2,91 – 2,92 g/hari dan 3,17 g/hari – 3,19 g/hari.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPeningkatan aktivitas industri dan transportasi menjadi pemicu timbulnya potensi pencemaran udara yang berdampak pada kesehatan masyarakat, terutama di sekitar wilayah industri dan kota-kota besar. Pengenalan daerah yang rawan terhadap pemaparan konsentrasi pencemar udara maksimum perlu dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi dampak terhadap kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebaran pencemar udara di sekitar wilayah industri dan menentukan lokasi yang berpotensi terpapar pencemar udara dengan konsentrasi maksimum, khususnya partikulat (dalam hal ini PM10) dan sulfurdioksida (SO2). Lokasi studi adalah wilayah Jakarta dan Tangerang, yang merupakan daerah padat transportasi juga industri. Analisis dispersi menggunakan model Weather Research Forecasting / Chemistry (WRFChem) dengan ukuran grid 4 x 4 km, selama periode 5 hari (120 jam) masing-masing pada bulan Agustus dan Desember. Hasil analisis model menunjukkan lokasi yang rawan terpapar pencemar PM10 maupun SO2 dengan konsentrasi maksimum adalah Jakarta Pusat dan Jakarta Utara, secara umum terjadi pada tengah malam hingga pagi hari. Pada siang hari konsentrasi maksimum cenderung terjadi di sekitar Jakarta Selatan, Tangerang Selatan, serta Kabupaten Tangerang. Secara temporal terjadi fluktuasi konsentrasi pencemar udara, konsentrasi siang hari rendah dan meningkat menjelang malam hari hingga dini hari. Faktor meteorologi terutama pola angin sangat mempengaruhi pola sebaran pencemar di wilayah studi, dan keberadaan garis pantai juga mempengaruhi terakumulasinya pencemar di sekitar wilayah Jakarta.ABSTRACTIncreasing industrial and transportation activity were associated with air pollution, especially in urban and industrial area. The air pollution is associated with significant adverse health effects. Understanding the potential implications of the air pollution to human health, developing strategies to mitigate the pollution should be seen as a serious attention. The purpose of this study was to analyze air pollutant dispersion within industrial area and to determine the locations that potentially exposed to maximum pollutant concentrations, especially PM10 and SO2.The evaluation was conducted within Jakarta and Tangerang using a well known modelling tool ‘WRFChem’. The WRFChem was simulated for the period of 5 days (120 hours) in August and December using the grid size of 4 km x 4 km. The model shows that the maximum concentrations of PM10 and SO2 occurred within Central Jakarta and the North Jakarta, frequently found from the midnight to morning. While during the day time, the maximum concentration tend to occur within the region of South Jakarta, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency. Diurnal fluctuation shows the pollutant concentrations are increased at night and decreased after sunrise. Meteorological factors, mainly wind direction, affects the pollutants dispersion in the area of study, and the existence of the shoreline also affects pollutants accumulation around Central Jakarta.

Abstract

The feed industry plays an important role in the economy, as well as in stock investment activities. The performance of feedstock companies is highly dependent on internal and external conditions. This condition becomes an interesting thing to study related to the effect of stock returns. The method used in this study is panel data regression, with data samples from 4 companies with a quarterly period from 2017 to 2021. The quantitative approach uses an econometric approach to determine the financial and macroeconomic performance factors on stock prices in the animal feed sub-sector. The financial performance variables used are Cash Ratio (CashR), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Inventory Turnover (ITO), and macroeconomic variables, namely the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar (exchange rate), international soybean prices, the price of local corn. The results show that the ratio of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and exchange rates is an important part that must be considered before investing in a feed company. Industry NPM performance is 3 percent, where the company with the highest NPM is CPIN and the lowest is SIPD. The industry average CashR performance is 0.24, with the highest CashR company CPIN and the lowest MAIN. The industry's ITO performance is 4.06 times, with the company's highest ITO ratio being CPIN and the lowest being JPFA. The industry DER value is 1.10, with the highest DER company CPIN and three other companies (JPFA, MAIN, SIPD) below average.
