Abstract

Pocket books are a form of printed learning media that look almost the same as booklets, only they are designed to be smaller and more practical so they can be carried anywhere. The aim of this research is to produce development media in the form of a Pocket Book whose feasibility is seen. The method used in this research is research and development, with a research design according to Borg and Gall. This research was conducted at MTs Al Madani Pontianak with the research subjects being 26 students in class VIII B. The data collection tools used were validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and posttests. The data analysis techniques used in research include validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The data collection tools used were validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and posttests. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that pocket books based on differentiated learning were suitable for use as learning media. With the pocket book validity level, the media validity criteria reached 85.64% with very valid criteria, and the material validity reached 86.06% with very valid criteria. The level of practicality of the pocket book is based on the results of the teacher response questionnaire and the results of the student response questionnaire. The results for the student response questionnaire were obtained with a percentage of 94.03%, the teacher response questionnaire with a percentage of 87% was in the very practical category. The level of effectiveness based on the hypothesis results can be concluded that the pocket book developed is effective

Abstract

This researcher aims to develop a test instrument media to measure mathematical creative thinking skills with the help of wordwalls. The research method used is Researcd and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the test instrument to measure mathematical creative thinking ability with the help of wordwalls on exponential material is an indicator of the feasibility of the instrument made. The data analysis used was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Media validity is obtained from the results of expert validation consisting of media experts and material experts. The results obtained from media experts with an average of 86.67% with the "very valid" criteria and the results from material experts with an average of 89.70% with the "very valid" criteria. Practicality was obtained from the percentage of student and teacher responses with an average of 86.88% with the criterion of "very practical". Effectiveness is obtained because it has met 4 criteria of effectiveness, namely the validity of question items, level of difficulty, differentiation and reliability, and can be said to be "effective". The conclusion is that the test instrument to measure mathematical thinking ability with the help of wordwalls in the exponential material of class XI SMAN 1 Embaloh Hulu is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution of zakat in Indonesia, focusing on the portion of zakat distribution to each asnaf in 2023. Zakat, as one of the pillars of Islamic economics, has an important role in reducing social inequality and improving people's welfare. The distribution of zakat in Indonesia is managed by various zakat institutions, one of which is Baitulmaal Munzalan Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis to describe the distribution of zakat to five asnaf, namely fakir, poor, fi sabilillah, muallaf, and ibn sabil. The data used was obtained from 35 branches of Baitulmaal Munzalan throughout Indonesia in 2023. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the allocation of zakat is more given to the poor and Fi Sabilillah, while the Fakir, Muallaf, and Ibn Sabil get a lower allocation. This study also identifies various factors that affect the imbalance in zakat distribution, such as limited data collection, priority of zakat institutions, and socio-economic factors. Recommendations are given to increase the equitable distribution of zakat in the future

The purpose of this study is to find out the ability to understand mathematical concepts after applying the scaffolding learning model and ordinary learning and to find out in school VII SMP Negeri 5 Semparuk. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a type of quasi-experiment (quasi-experiment). The sample was selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The instrument in this study is in the form of questions about the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the analysis showed that the ability to understand mathematical concepts in grade VII of SMP Negeri 5 Semparuk which applied the scaffolding learning model obtained an average of 72.21. The ability to understand mathematical concepts in grade VII of SMP Negeri 5 Semparuk which applied the usual learning model obtained an average of 39.85. The ability of students to understand mathematical concepts taught with the scaffolding learning model is better than that taught with the usual learning model in grade VII of SMP Negeri 5 Semparuk.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mathematical literacy skills of students on algebraic operations material. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study format. The population in this research is the entire class VII C of SMP Negeri 19. Using purposive sampling techniques, a total population of 30 students was obtained, with 6 samples chosen as main subjects based on high, medium, and low mathematical literacy ability categories. The research instruments include mathematical literacy ability tests and interviews. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that students with high mathematical literacy skills were able to meet all indicators of mathematical literacy ability, namely formulating, applying, and interpreting, although there were some errors in their written solutions. Students with medium literacy skills were able to understand the indicators of formulating and applying but still made technical errors in interpreting. Meanwhile, students with low mathematical literacy skills were only able to understand the formulating indicator.
