Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe and explain (1) the structure of  novel Mata di Tanah Melus by Okky Madasari; (2) the psychological aspects of main character in the novel based on human needs’ theory by Abraham Maslow; (3) the value of education character in the novel Mata di Tanah Melus; (4) to describe relevance in the novel with literature learning in the junior high school. This research used a qualitative descriptive method in psychology literature to describe psychological aspects of the main character. The data source of this research is the novel entitled Mata di Tanah Melus by Okky Madasari publised Gramedia Pustaka Utama. The validaty data used the triangulation data source. The results show that (1) the novel structures are theme, character and characterization, plot, and setting; (2) the psychplogical aspect of main character based of human needs’ theory are included; a physiological needs, the needs of savety, love and belonging, esteem of Matara are not fulfill well; (3) the most dominant value of caracter education is curiosity; (4) the relevance of the novel with literature learning in the junior high school based on the results of interviews.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) a variety of a language error in Indonesia text lectures students (2) the factors cause the occurrence of an error in the text of the lecture, and (3) efforts that can be made to address errors in the text of the lecture Indonesia students of class XI SMK Murni 1 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year. This type of research is qualitative research. The technique of sampling with purposive sampling and in-dept interview Researchers using interactive analysis techniques, with the primary data source text lectures students of class XI SMK Murni 1. Theory triangulation technique is used as a test of the validity of the data. The results of the analysis of the findings of language errors in the text of the lecture differentiated by linguistic taxonomy can be explained as follows. First, the language errors are found in the text of the lecture students of class XI can be divided into four, namely the fault of 4.58% morphology, 5.15% of semantics, 6.10% of syntax and spelling of 84.35%. Second, the error-speaking students due to several factors, including: (a) unfamiliarity and lack of carelessness students in writing a text, (b) the limited sources of student learning, and (c) the lack of sensitivity of the student on the development of the language. Third, efforts to minimize the mistakes that language can do, including: (a) assessment of the student's writing, (b) add the learning resources, and (c) literacy and writing exercise for students.

Abstract

In its teaching, literature undergoes a change in approach along with curriculum changes. This study aims to 1) describe the purpose of teaching literature in curriculum KTSP and K13 at the level of high school; 2) to describe the function of literary teaching in the curriculum of KTSP and K13 in SMA; and 3) to describe the literary teaching materials in the curriculum of KTSP and K13 at SMA level. This research is qualitative descriptive type. The research data is obtained from document archive, informant, and textbook of Indonesian KTSP and K13. Data validity is done by triangulation method and data triangulation. Data collection techniques are content analysis and structured interviews. Data were analyzed interactively. The results of this research are the purpose of teaching literature in KTSP and K13 at SMA level is that students are able to analyze and create literary works, as well as develop individual and social character through literary works. The function of literary teaching in KTSP and K13 is to make literary works as a means of achieving language skills. Third, the literary teaching materials in KTSP and K13 are short stories, poems, plays, novels, reviews.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh lingkungan kerja fisik dan non fisik terhadap semangat kerja karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) area kabupaten Buton Utara. Dalam penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel adalah sampling sensus. Populasinya adalah karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) area kabupaten Buton Utara dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebar  kuesioner kepada karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) area kabupaten Buton Utara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis data secara kuantitatif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel lingkungan kerja fisik dan non fisik terhadap semangat kerja karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) area kabupaten Buton Utara secara simultan. Secara parsial tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap semangat kerja karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) area kabupaten Buton Utara. Secra parsial tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel lingkungan kerja non fisik terhadap semangat kerja karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) area kabupaten Buton Utara. kata kunci : Lingkungan Kerja Fisik; Lingkungan kerja non Fisik; Semangat Kerja.

Abstract

One of behavior that is an indicator of the implementation of the value of PPK (Strengthening Character Education) is polite speech acts. polite speech acts is a behavior / speech that is in accordance with manners. This study aims to describe polite speech acts as a behavior of the value of the PPK Program in elementary school. The method used was qualitative approach with descriptive type. The data were collected through informants, namely principals, teachers, and students. Data analysis was carried out with a mileshuberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study showed that some schools have understood the PPK program concept and applied it in one of the behaviors in the form of polite speech acts practiced between teachers and students, students and students in the class. The PPK program in south Tangerang schools, particularly in the form of polite speech acts has been practiced in class. It was expected that polite speech acts could continue so that it takes the habituation of teachers who work with parents of students and students in the form of developing a journal of polite speech acts

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to describe the intrinsic elements and inner conflicts of the main characters in the novel Pergi. This research is a descriptive research using content analysis method and using literary psychology approach which is conducted for six months, starting from May 2018 to October 2018. The source of data used in this study is in the form of documents and interviews. Documents in the form of  Novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The research subject was taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by analyzing documents and interviews. Validity test used is triangulation of theory and source triangulation. Data analysis techniques used are interactive model analysis which includes data collection, reduction activities, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research procedure consists of the preparation stage, the implementation phase, and the report preparation phase. The results of this study indicate the following two things. First, Novel Pergi has complete intrinsic elements consisting of 7 elements. Second, the Bujang character has an element of id, ego, and superego, which sometimes between the three is not in line and causes inner conflict within him.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Data berupa tuturan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik rekam, simak, bebas, libat, cakap. Teknik analisis data dengan model interaktif melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pematuhan maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim permufakatan, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Derajat kesantunan yang muncul mematuhi skala ketidaklangsungan, skala rugi-untung, dan skala keopsionalan. Siswa juga melanggar maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim permufakatan. Skala kesantunan yang dilanggar yakni skala ketidaklangsungan, skala rugi-untung, dan skala keopsionalan. Pematuhan kesantunan berbahasa siswa dapat dijadikan bahan ajar materi teks negosiasi Bahasa Indonesia.Kata kunci: pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa, interaksi kelas, negosiasi.AbstractThis study aims to describe the form of students’ compliance and violation of the politeness principle. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with sociopragmatic approach. Data in the form of students' speech in the learning process of Indonesian language. Technique of data collecting through recording technique with free listening method (SBLC). Data analysis technique with interactive models through data collection, data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results show that there is tact maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, approbation maxim, and sympathy maxim. The degree of politeness that appears to abide by indirectness scale, cost-benefit scale, and optionality scale. The students also violates the tact macim, modesty maxim, approbation maxim, and agreement maxim. Violation scales are the indirectness scale, cost-benefit scale, and optionality scale. The compliance of students' language politeness can be used as material for learning the Indonesian negotiation text.Keywords: compliance and violation of politeness, classroom interaction, negotiation.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Angka kejadian demam tifoid tertinggi di Kota Semarang Tahun 2015 berada di Puskesmas Karangmalang yaitu 475 kasus. Pada tahun 2016 kejadian demam tifoid mengalami peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya sejumlah 555 kasus dan 183 diantaranya merupakan pasien rawat inap. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian demam tifoid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan rancangan case control. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner, lembar observasi dan rollmeter. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara pendapatan keluarga (p=0,043), kebiasaan mencuci tangan sebelum makan (p=0,027), kebiasaan mencuci tangan setelah BAB (p=0,028), kebiasaan mengonsumsi makanan di luar penyediaan rumah (p=0,026), kondisi tempat sampah (p=0,034), kondisi saluran air limbah (p=0,043), riwayat kontak dengan penderita demam tifoid (p=0,037), dan tidak ada hubungan antara umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, penyimpanan makanan masak di rumah, kebiasaan mencuci bahan makanan mentah yang akan di makan langsung, sarana air bersih dengan kejadian demam tifoid.. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The highest incidence of typhoid fever in Semarang 2015 was in the Karangmalang public health center with 475 cases. In 2016 the incidence of typhoid fever has increased from the previous year, which is a number of 555 cases and 183 of them are inpatients. The purpose of this study was to Factor affecting with Typhoid Fever Incidence. This type of research is an analytical survey with case control design. The research instruments are questionnaires, observation sheets and rollmeter. Data were analyzed by chi square method. The result showed that there is a relationship between family income (p=0,043), the habits of washing hands before eating (p=0,027), washing hands after defecation (p=0,028), the habit of eating meals outside the home supply (p=0,026), condition of the trash (p=0,034), conditions of sewerage (p=0,043), contact history with typhoid fever sufferers (p=0,037), and there is no correlation between age, sex, level of education, home cooked food storage, the habits of washing raw food to be eaten immediately, water supply with the incidence of typhoid fever.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of grammatical and lexical cohesion markers, the variation of the grammatical and lexical cohesion markers use, and the misuse of cohesion markers on the exposition of the students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data sources came from a collection of students expository text, with purposive sampling as data analysis technique. The results of this study indicates that: (1) the most used grammatical cohesion marker by class X IPS 2 students is the reference form with the highest appearance of 42 data, while the lexical cohesion marker most used is form repetition with the highest appearance of 13 data; (2) the use of the grammatical and lexical cohesion marker in writing the exposition has been shown to be varied, although the use is still uneven; (3) the most common misuse of grammatical cohesion marker in the student exposition is the use of the conjunction with the percentage of 73.08%.
