Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Data berupa tuturan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik rekam, simak, bebas, libat, cakap. Teknik analisis data dengan model interaktif melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pematuhan maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim permufakatan, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Derajat kesantunan yang muncul mematuhi skala ketidaklangsungan, skala rugi-untung, dan skala keopsionalan. Siswa juga melanggar maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim penghargaan, dan maksim permufakatan. Skala kesantunan yang dilanggar yakni skala ketidaklangsungan, skala rugi-untung, dan skala keopsionalan. Pematuhan kesantunan berbahasa siswa dapat dijadikan bahan ajar materi teks negosiasi Bahasa Indonesia.Kata kunci: pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa, interaksi kelas, negosiasi.AbstractThis study aims to describe the form of students? compliance and violation of the politeness principle. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with sociopragmatic approach. Data in the form of students' speech in the learning process of Indonesian language. Technique of data collecting through recording technique with free listening method (SBLC). Data analysis technique with interactive models through data collection, data reduction, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results show that there is tact maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, approbation maxim, and sympathy maxim. The degree of politeness that appears to abide by indirectness scale, cost-benefit scale, and optionality scale. The students also violates the tact macim, modesty maxim, approbation maxim, and agreement maxim. Violation scales are the indirectness scale, cost-benefit scale, and optionality scale. The compliance of students' language politeness can be used as material for learning the Indonesian negotiation text.Keywords: compliance and violation of politeness, classroom interaction, negotiation.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the existence of tadut and andai-andai in South Bengkulu society. The research problem discussed is how the existence of tadut and andai-andai in South Bengkulu society. This research conducts phenomenology appoarch with qualitatively descriptive method. The results of this research showed that tadut and andai-andai in South Bengkulu began to be abandoned by the people around there. This is indicated with rarely performances of the folklores and the young generation prefers to western culture than them. The capable efforts to preserve the two folklores are the synergy between the community of people and the government in making inheritance a more interesting, for example by making it in the form of audio visuals, establishing customary institutions in each village, documenting the two folklores, holding their competencies, and including them into the school curriculum.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the use of speech acts in the form of locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, perlocutionary acts, and expressive speech acts used by foreign learners in the learning process of  Indonesian Language for Foreigners (BIPA). This research used descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research was a Polish student who had been joining Darmasiswa Program at UPT Bahasa, Universitas Sebelas Maret. The technique of collecting data was by using free-listening-participating-speaking (SBLC). The technique of analyzing data was by using the interactive model. The interactive model used in this research was the extralingual interactive model. The results showed that there were types of locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, perlocutionary acts, and functions of expressive speech acts consisting of congratulating, expressing gratitude, criticizing, complaining, giving compliment, apologizing, offering and motivating.Keywords/phrases: speech acts, expressive speech acts, BIPA TINDAK TUTUR DAN FUNGSI TUTURAN EKSPRESIF PEMELAJAR BIPA ASAL POLANDIA DI UPT BAHASA UNSAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan tindak tutur berupa tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, perlokusi, dan tuturan ekspresif yang digunakan pemelajar asing dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa asing asal Polandia yang sedang mengikuti program Darmasiswa di UPT Bahasa Universitas Sebelas Maret. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik perekaman dengan metode simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC). Analisis data menggunakan metode padan ekstralingual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat jenis-jenis tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, perlokusi dan fungsi tuturan ekspresifnya yang terdiri dari tuturan ekspresif mengucapkan selamat, terima kasih, mengkritik, mengeluh, memuji, meminta maaf, menawarkan, serta memotivasi.Kata Kunci/frase: tindak tutur, tuturan ekspresif, BIPA

Abstract

In learning Indonesian language and literature needs to take into consideration the involvement of students in creative process. Students are capable of listening the literary works and appreciate them. The implementation of listening learning can be successful if it is employing a contextual approach. This study describes: (1) the needs of teachers and students in developing interactive media in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (2) the arrangement of interactive media prototype employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (3) the effectiveness of interactive media employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (4) the acceptance of interactive media employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools based on stakeholders’ responses.The research employs Research and Development (RD) study that conducts some steps developed by Borg and Gall, as follows: 1) the exploratory study that includes literature review, field study and the initial phases in creating prototype design, 2) the development phase of new learning media, 3) the experiment phase that is to test the effectiveness of old media and new media in listening learning of drama, 4) the acceptance test of new learning media to public. The data was collected and tested its effectiveness with the T-Test statistical analysis.The results of this research show that; (1) teachers and students find difficulties to employ interactive media in listening learning of drama in accordance with the students’ basic competence and lesson plan, (2) the prototype of interactive learning media is developed, (3) the students’ learning outcome of listening learning of drama can be improved with the help of interactive media compared with the learning without it and this is proved by the results of limited field trial and field trial, (4) the interactive media can be accepted by public and has more advantages than the old media according to the result of acceptance test.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) contained structure in Kebumen folklore; (2) the educational value found in Kebumen folklore; (3) the relevance of educational value on Kebumen folklore with literary learning materials in junior high school. This research includes qualitative research using case study (observation and interview) and analyzing several documents in the object form of folklore study in Kebumen regency related with interview result with resource persons related to folklore, and result of interview with teacher and student. Data analysis techniques using interactive model analysis techniques namely data reduction, presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions or verification.The results of this research are: (1) the story structure that contained in the three folklore in Kebumen Regency includes (a) themes, (b) characters and characterization, (c) background, (d) plot, and (e)the message of the story; (2) the educational values that contained in three Kebumen Regency folklore include (a) the value of social education, (b) the value of moral education, (c) the value of religious education, (d) the value of custom/traditional education, and (e) the value of heroic education; (3) the relevance of educational value to folklore with literary learning materials in junior high school according to the criteria of Basic Competence and Keynote Competence and contains a moral value in it.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to describe diction (word choise, figure of a speech, imagery of Dari Hari Ke Hari’s novel by Mahbub Djunaidi, and the relevance of the results of studies as Bahasa Indonesia teaching material for the Senior High School. This study is a qualitative descriptive with content analysis method. The result showed that. First, the use of diction (choice words) includes concrete words, connotative words, word greetings or self-names, vulgar words, words of absorption, regional vocabulary, and words with natural reality. Second, the use of language style (Figure of a speech) includes simile, metaphor, personification, depersonification, allegory, antithesis, pleonasme, periprasis, anticipation, epanortosis, satire, paradox, climax, anti-climax, allusion, atonomation, eroteris, asyndeton, polisedenton, epizeukis, anaphora, and epystrofa. Third, the use of imagery includes visual imagery, motion imagery, olfactory imagery, tactical imagery, and auditory images. Fourth, Dari Hari Ke Hari’s novel can be used as a teaching material in high school literature class XII curriculum of 2013, ie at base competence understand the structure and rules of novel text.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe and explain (1) the structure of  novel Mata di Tanah Melus by Okky Madasari; (2) the psychological aspects of main character in the novel based on human needs’ theory by Abraham Maslow; (3) the value of education character in the novel Mata di Tanah Melus; (4) to describe relevance in the novel with literature learning in the junior high school. This research used a qualitative descriptive method in psychology literature to describe psychological aspects of the main character. The data source of this research is the novel entitled Mata di Tanah Melus by Okky Madasari publised Gramedia Pustaka Utama. The validaty data used the triangulation data source. The results show that (1) the novel structures are theme, character and characterization, plot, and setting; (2) the psychplogical aspect of main character based of human needs’ theory are included; a physiological needs, the needs of savety, love and belonging, esteem of Matara are not fulfill well; (3) the most dominant value of caracter education is curiosity; (4) the relevance of the novel with literature learning in the junior high school based on the results of interviews.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain: (1) the form of illocutionary speech acts in Putu Wijaya’s Peace drama script dialogue; (2) the function of illocutionary speech acts in Putu Wijaya’s Peace drama script dialogue; and (3) the relevance of illocutionary speech acts in Putu Wijaya’s Peace drama script dialogue and literature teaching materials in senior high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with type of pragmatic approach. Sources of data was a document which is the Putu Wijaya’s Peace drama script dialogue. The technique for taking the subject of this research was done by purposive sampling. Data collection was done by document analysis. Theory triangulation is Searle’s illocutionary speech acts and data sources triangulation in the form of informants was used for validity test of the data. Data analysis in this study was using data analysis according to Miles and Huberman with the flow model. The results of the study are as follows. First, from five form of illocutionary speech acts, the most dominant form is directif form. Second, the most dominant fuction of illocutionary speech acts is directif requestives fuction and directif requirements function. Third, the Putu Wijaya’s Peace drama script dialogue fulllied three important aspects of teaching materials (1) language aspects; (2)psychology aspects; and (3) culture based  aspects; and the curriculum that been used.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) a variety of a language error in Indonesia text lectures students (2) the factors cause the occurrence of an error in the text of the lecture, and (3) efforts that can be made to address errors in the text of the lecture Indonesia students of class XI SMK Murni 1 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year. This type of research is qualitative research. The technique of sampling with purposive sampling and in-dept interview Researchers using interactive analysis techniques, with the primary data source text lectures students of class XI SMK Murni 1. Theory triangulation technique is used as a test of the validity of the data. The results of the analysis of the findings of language errors in the text of the lecture differentiated by linguistic taxonomy can be explained as follows. First, the language errors are found in the text of the lecture students of class XI can be divided into four, namely the fault of 4.58% morphology, 5.15% of semantics, 6.10% of syntax and spelling of 84.35%. Second, the error-speaking students due to several factors, including: (a) unfamiliarity and lack of carelessness students in writing a text, (b) the limited sources of student learning, and (c) the lack of sensitivity of the student on the development of the language. Third, efforts to minimize the mistakes that language can do, including: (a) assessment of the student's writing, (b) add the learning resources, and (c) literacy and writing exercise for students.

Abstract

In its teaching, literature undergoes a change in approach along with curriculum changes. This study aims to 1) describe the purpose of teaching literature in curriculum KTSP and K13 at the level of high school; 2) to describe the function of literary teaching in the curriculum of KTSP and K13 in SMA; and 3) to describe the literary teaching materials in the curriculum of KTSP and K13 at SMA level. This research is qualitative descriptive type. The research data is obtained from document archive, informant, and textbook of Indonesian KTSP and K13. Data validity is done by triangulation method and data triangulation. Data collection techniques are content analysis and structured interviews. Data were analyzed interactively. The results of this research are the purpose of teaching literature in KTSP and K13 at SMA level is that students are able to analyze and create literary works, as well as develop individual and social character through literary works. The function of literary teaching in KTSP and K13 is to make literary works as a means of achieving language skills. Third, the literary teaching materials in KTSP and K13 are short stories, poems, plays, novels, reviews.
