Abstract

Majalengka merupakan salahsatu kabupaten yang berada di wilayah 3 Cirebon Jawa Barat. Berbatasan dengan wilayah Cirebon yang berbahasa Jawa “Cerbonan” dan kabupaten Indramayu yang  berbahasa Jawa Indramayu, di wilayah bagian selatan kabupaten Majalengka berbatasan langsung dengan kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Garut, Ciamis yang merupakan wilayah Sunda Priangan. Letak geografis tersebut menjadikan kabupaten Majalengka memiliki beragam dialek bahasa dan juga kearifan lokal yang bervariatif. Pengaruh bahasa Sunda dan Bahasa Jawa secara signifikan menambah khazanah kearifan lokal yang ada di kabupaten Majalengka, selain itu pengaruh sejarah kebudayaan juga memiliki urgensi penting dalam perkembangan dan pemertahanan kearifan lokal di kabupaten Majalengka. Artikel ini membahas mengenai kearifan lokal yang ada di kabupaten Majalengka, perkembangan kearifan lokal dideskripsikan berdasarkan paparan dari informan utama dari masing-masing kecamatan yang dijadikan partisipan penelitian. Selain itu, dideskripsikan pula mengenai pemertahanan kearifan lokal kabupaten Majalengka dalam menghadapi arus globalisasi yang berdampak pada degradasi budaya. Salahsatu hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam pemertahanan kearifan lokal adalah mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Majalengka sebagai materi ajar mata kuliah Sosiolinguistik.Kata kunci: kearifan lokal, Majalengka, materi ajar, mata kuliah, Sosiolinguistik Majalengka is one of the regencies located in area 3 Cirebon, West Java. It is bordered by Cirebon, which speaks Javanese "Cerbonan" and regency of Indramayu which speaks Javanese Indramayu, in the southern part of Majalengka district, it is directly adjacent to Tasikmalaya, Garut, Ciamis districts which are the Sunda Priangan region. This geographical location makes Majalengka district have various dialects of the language and also varied local wisdom. The influence of Sundanese and Javanese languages significantly adds to the treasure of local wisdom in Majalengka district, besides that the influence of cultural history also has an important urgency in the development and maintenance of local wisdom in Majalengka district. This article discusses local wisdom that exists in Majalengka district, the development of local wisdom is described based on the exposure of the main informants from each district who were the research participants. In addition, it also describes the preservation of local wisdom of Majalengka district in facing the flow of globalization which has an impact on cultural degradation. One of the things that can be done in maintaining local wisdom is integrating local wisdom of Majalengka as teaching material in Sociolinguistics courses.Keywords: local wisdom, Majalengka, teaching materials, courses, sociolinguistics

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe teachers’ understanding of: (a) a model of charactereducation-based learning using poems as learning materials, (b) the heuristic-hermeneuticreading technique in poetry learning, and (c) problems of character education usingpoems as learning materials supported by teachers’ critical attitudes and autonomousparticipation through the application of the heuristic-hermeneutic reading technique.The study employed the qualitative descriptive technique and was a preliminary studyas the first step of model development. The data sources were documents and eventsinvolving teachers and students at junior high schools in Karanganyar Regency. Theresults of the study are as follows. First, there is a gap between the phenomena expectedby the poetry learning using the heuristic-hermeunetic reading technique and the actualheuristic-hermeunetic reading technique in the field. Second, the gap is attributable toseveral factors, namely: (a) the initial competence in poetry learning, (b) poetry learningobjective setting, (c) poetry learning implementation, (d) poetry learning methods andstrategies, (e) poetry learning media, and (f) poetry learning evaluation.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine factors affect earnings response coefficient consist of earnings persistence, capital structure, systematic risk (beta), earnings growth, and firm size (Scott, 2000). The study added one variable, that is audit quality. Teoh and Wong (1993) argue that audit quality is positively associated with client’s quality of earnings and the earnings response coefficient.Samples used in this study are 255 firms listed in the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSE) from 2001-2005. The study tested hypothesis by using multiple regression analysis models. The results of study show that all of the factors (earnings persistence, capital structure, systematic risk (beta), earnings growth, and firm size) influence earnings response coefficients, exception audit quality is not statistically significant influence earnings response coefficients. Abstract

This study aimed to describe: (1) social background novel Kambing dan Hujan, (2) the social background of the author, (3) a response from readers based on social background, (4) the value of tolerance, (5) the relevance of novel Kambing dan Hujan with teaching materials appreciation of literature in high school. This study is a qualitative research approach of sociology of literature. The data collection technique used is the analysis of documents and interviews. Analysis of the data used is an interactive model. The conclusions of this study are: (1) aspects of social background in the novel: habits, customs, traditions, ways of thinking and behaving, beliefs, and outlook on life; (2) social background author: born in Lamongan, East Java, on May 7, 1980. Living in Yogyakarta and work as a novelist, editor, and facilitator in Bengkel Menulis Gerakan Literasi Indonesia. Novel Kambing dan Hujan written based on the experience of author when living in the region of origin; (3) a response from the reader, the novel nice and attractive and provide a positive influence; (4) the value of tolerance in the novel: the value of tolerance to the habit, circumstances, views, and behavior; (5) novel Kambing dan Hujan relevant with teaching materials appreciation of literature in high school because having already qualified identification of teaching material learning and in accordance with the teaching materials in the syllabus Indonesian subjects Curriculum 2013 revised edition 2016.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to describe the intrinsic structure of folklore, the heroism value of folklore, and relevance as literary teaching materials in junior high school. This research used qualitative description method with content analysis approach. The data sources are folklore texts, places and cultural heritage, and informants. Folklore used in this research are Asal Mula Nama Karanganyar, Perjuangan Raden Mas Said, and Joko Songo. Selected as the sample using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The technique of data collection are documents analysis and interview. The data validity technique used are source and method triangulation. The technique of data analysis using interactive model of analysis that includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of this research are, (1) the structure contained in folklore in Karanganyar includes themes, characters, plot, setting, and message, (2) found 15 heroism value in folklore in Karanganyar District, (3) the folklore in Karanganyar is relevance with teaching materials in the junior high school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) use of diction in public service advertisements on the radio, (2) use of the style language public service advertisements on the radio, and (3) the relevance of the study with teaching material in junior high school. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research is the recorded public service announcements that were broadcast by radio Gesma. Sampling using a purposive sampling. Engineering data collection using the technique, refer to the record, record, and in-depth interviews. The validity of this research data using triangulation of data sources and theories. This research data analysis using the method of Flow Model of Analysis. The results of the analysis of the findings regarding the use of diction and style of advertising language is described as follows. The first use of diction public service advertisements on the radio is dominated by the word gaul. The use of the words based on the context of the speech, target audience, purpose and message delivery information the ad with an interesting language and communicative, and easily understood by the audience. Second, the use of stylistic rhetoric dominates the results. The use of stylistic variation, giving a characteristic flavor, and the value on ads aired. Third, the research results in the form of diction and style of language in public service advertisements on the radio can be direlevansikan on a language learning curriculum revision in 2013 Indonesia junior high school class VIII.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) unsur intrinsik (alur, tema, amanat, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, serta sudut pandang) pada novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari; (2) hubungan antarunsur intrinsik pada novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari; (3) pemanfaatan analisis struktural pada novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari sebagai materi ajar sastra kelas XII SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan struktural sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumen novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan_data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi teori dan sumber data sebagai uji validitas data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis model interaktif.  Hasil penelitian ini dapat dikemukakan bahwa 1) terdapat  unsur intrinsik novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari meliputi tema, alur, penokohan, latar, sudut pandang, dan amanat; 2) Setiap unsur yang terdapat dalam novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari memiliki hubungan dan tidak dapat berdiri sendiri; 3) Novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai materi ajar sastra kelas XII SMA pada KD 3.9 menggunakan metode Jigsaw, Talking Sticking dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This research article aims to explain and describe the relevance of novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 with literary learning materials in high school. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with the object of research in the form of novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy that is Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2. Technique of data collecting using purposive sampling technique according to subject matter. Data analysis techniques in this study are interactive models, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The conclusions are based on deductive techniques, which is to explain in general to the specific facts as the final conclusion. The result of this study is that it can be used as a literary learning material in SMA based on story structure and moral values that can be followed by studying students according to curriculum requirement. Kajian ini merupakan kajian deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek penelitian berupa novel karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy yaitu Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pusposive sampling sesuai dengan pokok permasalahan yang dikaji. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah model interaktif, meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan dibuat berdasarkan teknik deduktif, yaitu menjelaskan secara umum menuju fakta-fakta khusus sebagai simpulan akhir. Hasil dari kajian penelitian ini adalah dapat dijadikanya novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 sebagai materi pembelajaran sastra di SMA berdasarkan struktur cerita dan nilai moral yang dapat diteladani siswa dengan mengkajinya sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum. Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 penuh dengan nilai-nilai pembangun jiwa yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk mencapai pendidikan tertinggi, religius, bertoleransi, tidak mudah tersulut isu dan berjiwa sosial di tengah kondisi masyarakat Indonesia yang majemuk

Abstract

In Indonesia, the incidence of hypertension ranged from 6-15% and many patients are still not reached by health services, especially in rural areas. The research purposes to determine patterns of treatment of hypertension, the average cost of treatment, the factors that affect the total cost, and the cost of compliance with the real cost of the package INA-CBGs. The study was an observational cross-sectional study design according to the perspective of the hospital. Method of data collection was done in retrosfektif and data derived from quantitative data. Subjects were inpatients suffering from hypertension without comorbidities and hypertension with comorbid diabetes mellitus, heart failure and kidney failure. The results showed significant differences with the INA-CBG rates on total costs in outpatients differed significantly in 79 samples, while the real cost of Rp 335,145 was greater than the INA-CBGs rate of Rp. 181,400, while inpatients differed significantly in 63 samples at the grade I, grade 3, 2, 1 severity of Rp. Rp. , Rp. 1,438,069, Rp. 1,498,683, Rp. 2,000,685, the severity level II class 3 and class 1 was Rp. 1,540,134, Rp. 2,866,200, III and grade 1 III severity levels of Rp. 1,586,617 and Rp. 3,439,500. This difference shows a positive difference, where the total real cost is more.

Abstract

Mastering Indonesian language is a crucial thing although it is not one of requirements to study in Indonesia. The foreign students need to speak in Indonesian language because people like to communicate in same language. That’s why many Indonesian Language Teaching Institutions for Foreign Students (ILTIFS) provided some services to conduct Indonesian learning especially in Central Java- Indonesia. This study is purposed to describe an effort to develop Indonesian learning material for foreign students enriched by local culture. Learning language means learning its culture, foreign students need to know local culture so they can communicate contextually and avoid from shock culture in early living here. The paper used qualitative description to explain four steps on developing learning material.
