Abstract

Providing satisfactory health services is a demand for hospitals, including radiology installations at the Bagas Waras Hospital, Klaten, Central Java. Effective communication is one of the significant factors affecting the quality of service to patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between radiographer's communication and satisfaction with information services for patients in terms of respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble indicators. This type of research is a quantitative analytical observational study with a cross sectional design. The sample size in this study was 193 samples taken by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then the data obtained were tested by univariate and bivariate (Chi Square) tests. The results showed that the p-value between the radiographer's communication and satisfaction with information services for patients on the indicators of respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble with a value of 0.000 <0.05. When viewed from the PR value for each indicator, it is 23,429 times for the respect indicator; 15,385 times on audible indicators; 20 times on the empathy indicator; 16,902 times on the clarity indicator and 39 times on the humble indicator. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between radiographer's communication and information service satisfaction for patients at the Bagas Waras Hospital, Klaten, Central Java, both on the indicators of respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble. The advice that can be given based on this research is the need to improve the communication skills of radiographers through training.

Abstract

Objective: This study was conducted using the T test which showed the effect of Rocket Balloon Play Therapy on Anxiety in Preschool Children Due to Hospitalization. The P value is <0.001 which means it is less than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). Method: This study is a quasi-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design and uses a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 20 children. Result: This study was conducted using the T test which showed the effect of Balloon Rocket Play Therapy on Anxiety in Preschool Children Due to Hospitalization. The P value is <0.001, which means it is less than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). Conclusions: There is an effect of balloon rocket play therapy on preschool children's anxiety during hospitalization in the children's ward of UNS Sukoharjo Hospital.

Abstract

Dengue fever (DHF) is a major public health problem in the tropics, including Indonesia, impacting the health of children. The disease can cause serious complications if not treated promptly. Effective prevention requires good knowledge of healthy behaviours, especially in environmental management to prevent the proliferation of Aedes aegypti as the main vector of the virus. However, many children still do not understand the importance of dengue prevention. Therefore, improving their knowledge is very important in an effort to overcome this problem. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of interactive learning methods, particularly role-playing, in improving children's knowledge about dengue prevention. The research design used is Quasi-Experiment with pre-test and post-test, involving 27 students of SD Negeri 002 South Balikpapan in 2024. The instrument used was a questionnaire which was prepared based on the indicators of DHF prevention. The results showed a significant effect of interactive learning method on improving children's knowledge about dengue prevention, with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This study provides important implications in health education, especially in efforts to improve children's knowledge through interactive and fun learning methods.

Abstract

The age of toddler is a golden age because the growth and development of children at this age takes place quickly and both physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially. A good feeding pattern is useful to meet the nutritional needs they need, a good diet will also play a role in preventing nutritional problems. This study aims to describe the feeding patterns of parents in toddler-age children in Polokarto Village, Polokarto District. This research is an analytical descriptive research. The research sample consisted of 136 mothers who had toddler-age children who were taken by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire of demographic data and feeding patterns. The analysis used in this study is a univariate analysis that will be displayed in the form of distribution, frequency, and percentage. The results of the study showed that the majority of parents had the quality of feeding patterns that were included in the sufficient category, namely 79 respondents (58.1%). Most of the respondents were in the age range of 27-33 years, namely 84 respondents (61.8%). Then the majority of parents have a high school education background and almost all mothers have the status of housewives (72.8%).

Abstract

Increasing knowledge about the prevention of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in children is very relevant to nursing. UTIs are common in children, potentially affecting their quality of life and causing significant complications if not treated or prevented properly. Health education plays a crucial role in empowering caregivers and children to adopt preventive measures. This health education aims to increase children's awareness, improve their quality of life, and reduce the incidence of urinary tract infections (UTIs). This study is a quantitative research, using a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest posttest design. The research sample included 22 children selected based on purposive sampling. The data collected includes demographic data and pretest-posttest data. The data analysis will be displayed in distribution, frequency, and percentage formats. The results of this study showed that of the 22 respondents, the average pretest score was 5.45, which increased to 8.55 after the intervention. The results of the pretest-posttest showed an increase in knowledge with a percentage of 18.4%. Statistical analysis showed that the pretest-posttest assessment resulted in a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a t-value of -15.739. These results show a significant increase in knowledge after the health education intervention.

Abstract

This research aims to test empirically about the influence of public ownership, company size, environmental performance, and profitability towards environmental disclosure in the energy companies which are registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The theory used in this research is legitimacy theory. The population of this research were 61 energy companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The selection of research sample used a purposive sampling technique with specific criteria, resulted 43 samples with 172 total observations. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from annual reports and/or company sustainability reports. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the tools of SPSS. The results of this research showed that, 1) public ownership has no effect towards the environmental disclosure, 2) company size has a positive effect towards the environmental disclosure, 3) environmental performance has a positive effect towards the environmental disclosure, and 4) profitability has a positive effect towards environmental disclosure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Perkembangan sektor UMKM sangat dinamis ditambah sektor ini merupakan salah satu sektor penggerak perekonomian Indonesia. Namun banyak sekali UMKM mengalami kebangkrutan yang seringkali dikaitkan dengan kegagalan pemilik usaha dalam mengelola keuangannya. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan tingkat literasi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan UMKM makanan di Kota Magelang untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh dari literasi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan dapat berpengaruh dalam pengambilan keputusan pengelolaan keuangan UMKM makanan di Kota Magelang. Penggunaan metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif melalui data primer dengan kuesioner dan google form untuk dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian mencapai 110 UMKM yang bergerak di bidang makanan di Kota Magelang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan berpengaruh positif terhadap pengelolaan keuangan yang dimana artinya semakin baik literasi keuangan dan perilaku keuangan seseorang maka akan mencerminkan pengelolaan keuangan yang semakin baik pula dari pelaku UMKM makanan di Kota Magelang. Pada penelitian ini memerlukan perluasan populasi, tidak hanya di Kota Magelang, tetapi juga membandingkannya dengan wilayah lainnya, serta perlunya penambahan variabel lain yang diduga mempengaruhi pengelolaan keuangan UMKM.

Abstract

Candimulyo District as a durian fruit center that has been famous since the 1980s, during the harvest season, attracts many people/visitors to come to enjoy this King of the fruits. Visitors come from various regions both domestically and abroad. This condition, in addition to providing a positive side in the form of increasing community income, on the other hand also raises problems in the form of piles of durian skin and pongge waste. The urgency of this community service activity is the utilization of durian skin and pongge waste as a form of effort to increase community income, especially in Giyanti Village, Candimulyo District, Magelang Regency. Durian skin and seeds waste that is currently not utilized and becomes a problem for the environment in Giyanti Village, in the form of an unclean environment that can cause environmental pollution and can affect the level of public health. With this activity, it is hoped that the existence of durian skin and seeds waste during the durian harvest season will not become a more widespread problem. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the standard of living of the community through efforts to increase community income. Creativity and innovation are needed that can be done by the community to increase their income, including by utilizing existing potential. The role of academics is to transfer knowledge to the community through introduction and training related to handling the problems faced. The composition of the community service team consisting of food technology, nutrition, and accounting from Universitas Tidar is expected to provide optimal contribution to solving the problems in Giyanti Village, namely by utilizing durian skin and seeds waste into processed products that will encourage increased community income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan tingkat tutur dalam bahasa Madura yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Sumenep dalam berkomunikasi di lingkungan kampus. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan tingkatan bahasa Madura (ondhâgghâ bhâsa) sebagai bentuk kesantunan berbahasa (honorifik) yang sangat penting dalam tata krama bertutur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak libat cakap (SLC). Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa kata sapaan nama diri, kata sapaan pronomina persona, kata sapaan gelar akademik, dan kata sapaan jabatan dan pangkat yang dipakai mahasiswa sesuai tingkatan bahasa Madura yaitu menurut macamnya ada tiga (3); bhâsa enjâ’ iyâ, bhâsa engghi enten, dan bhâsa èngghi bhunten dan menurut naik turunnya/sorot sandherrâ bahasa terbagi tiga (3) bagian yaitu; bhâsa andhâp/bahasa rendah, bhâsa tèngnga’an/bahasa menengah, dan bhâsa tèngghi/ bahasa tinggi. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan mahasiswa dapat mengetahui kata sapaan sesuai tingkatan bahasa Madura dengan benar sehingga nantinya bisa berkomunikasi dengan baik dan santun ketika berhadapan dengan dosen atau pun pimpinan di kampus khususnya di STKIP PGRI Sumenep Madura.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bentuk-bentuk konjungsi kohesi grammatika yang terdapat di dalam sebuah novel dengan judul woman at point zero karya Nawal El-Sadawi. Penelitian ini fokus terhadap bentuk-bentuk konjungsi serta fungsi kohesi grammatika dengan menggunakan teori Halliday untuk menganalisa data. Adapun metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis setiap kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang terdapat di dalam novel woman at point zero karya Nawal El-Sadawi. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk konjungsi kohesi grammatika yang terdapat dalam sebuah novel yang berjudul woman at point zero yaitu konjungsi Additive, Adversative, Clausal, and Temporal. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi para akademisi untuk penelitian selanjutnya dalam bidang yang sama dengan objek berbeda di masa yang akan datang.
