Abstract

Persepsi body image merupakan cara seseorang menilai penampilan fisiknya. Remaja putri merupakan kelompok yang paling rentan untuk mengalami ketidakpuasan bentuk tubuh akibat adanya keinginan untuk mengikuti standar kecantikan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi body image dan kualitas konsumsi makanan pada remaja putri dengan status gizi normal dan lebih di Kota Bandung. Desain penelitian potong lintang digunakan untuk pengambilan data dan sebanyak 145 remaja putri dengan status gizi normal dan 54 remaja putri dengan status gizi lebih dan obesitas berusia 15-17 tahun dijadikan sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian dilakukan di 18 SMA di Kota Bandung yang dipilih secara acak. Pengambilan data persepsi body image menggunakan instrumen Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS) dan data kualitas konsumsi makanan menggunakan instrumen Healthy Eating Index (HEI). Sebagian besar subjek memiliki persepsi body image normal dan tidak terdapat subjek yang memiliki kualitas konsumsi makanan yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbedaan nyata pada persepsi body image subskala evaluasi penampilan, kepuasan bagian tubuh, kecemasan menjadi gemuk, dan pengkategorian ukuran tubuh pada remaja dengan status gizi normal dan lebih (p<0,05). Tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata terhadap kualitas konsumsi makanan kedua kelompok (p>0,05).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the association between Dietary Diversity Scores (DDS) and nutritional status among adolescent girls with anemia. Seventy-one adolescent girls aged 15−17 years from high schools in Bandung were selected using Probability Proportional to Size (PPS). The data on the sociodemographic characteristics, health and nutritional status, and DDS of the subjects were collected. Results showed that the mean DDS was classified as high. There was no significant association between DDS and BMI-for-age Z-score (BAZ) and Waist-Hip Ratio (WHR) in adolescent girls with anemia (p>0.05). Therefore, DDS was not associated with nutritional status in adolescent girls with anemia.

Abstract

The study aims to determine: (1) The level of students’ learning outcomes before and after the application of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach based on Kajang local wisdom. (2) The improvement of students' learning outcomes after the application of the CRT approach. (3) A significant increase in students' learning outcomes after the application of the CRT approach. This research is pre-experiment research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The study population was students of class VII of SMPN 1 Bulukumba in the 2023/2024 school year, with 24 students from class VII.6 as sample that selected using Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument was a multiple choice questions on Indonesian Ecology and Biodiversity material. Data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed 1) The learning outcomes of students before the application were in the low category with an average score of 6.21 and after the application was in a very high category with an average score of 16.75, 2) The improvement of students' learning outcomes obtained an average N-Gain of 0.76 with a high category. 3) There is a significant increase in student learning outcomes based on the t-test of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk anak pada jendang sekolah dasar berbasiss kearifan lokal masyarakat gayo di Aceh tengah. Hal ini ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya jumah bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris di jenjang sekolah dasar yang mengangkat konteks budaya lokal, khususnya budaya Gayo di Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan : Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation.  Uji validitas dilakukan ahli bahan ajar dan diujikan kepada dua puluh anak pada uji coba kelompok. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dan dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk bahan ajar dari bab yang terdiri dari 15 materi pokok bahasan mendapat respon yang sangat baik, valid dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dalam bidang pendidikan, sosial dan ekonomi dalam bentukinovasi. Inovasi yang dijalankan berupa pemanfaatan limbah kardus dan botol menjadi mainan edukasi anak usia dini. Mainan edukasi ini memiliki tampilan yang unik, berbeda dari mainan anak pada umumnya, dan tentu saja memiliki harga yang relatif ekonomis. Jenis bahan utama yang digunakan adalah kardus dan botol yang bisa di dapat dari sampah disekitar rumah maupun dari bank sampah. Gambaran dari inovasi ini adalah banyaknya limbah kardus dan botol di sekitar masyarakat yang menyebabkan banjir dan masalah lingkungan lainnya, yang di akibatkan kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara mengelola sampah. Ide dari inovasi ini juga di dasarkan oleh semakin mahalnya alat pembelajaran anak, yang menyebabkan kurangnya efektifitas anak dalam belajar. Hasil dariinovasi ini adalah mainan edukasi anak yang diberi nama “PLAYBOXTLE” yang merupakan gabungan dari bahasa inggris mainan kardus dan botol. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis lingkungan, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penerapan mainan edukasi ini terhadap anak usia dini. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berhasil karna antusiasme peserta dalam membuat mainan edukasi ini. Mainan ini juga dapat menjadi bisnis yang sangat menguntungkan, mengingat bahan bahannya yang mudah didapat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa sekolah dasar tentang pentingnya Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) sebagai upaya preventif terhadap penyakit kecacingan di SDN 10 Bintauna. Penyakit kecacingan masih sering ditemukan pada anak usia sekolah akibat rendahnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta kurangnya fasilitas sanitasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, dan tanya jawab yang melibatkan siswa dan guru. Materi mencakup pengertian CTPS, waktu-waktu penting mencuci tangan, dampak buruk dari tidak mencuci tangan, serta langkah mencuci tangan yang benar sesuai standar WHO. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya menjaga kebersihan tangan dan lingkungan sekolah. Siswa tampak antusias mengikuti kegiatan, aktif bertanya, serta mampu mempraktikkan langkah CTPS dengan benar. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan kegiatan meliputi dukungan pihak sekolah, antusiasme peserta, serta kerja sama tim pelaksana dan guru. Kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada siswa serta menjadi langkah awal dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit kecacingan di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Students at Husainiyah Islamic Boarding School in Cicalengka rely entirely on meals provided within a closed environment, making their nutrient intake and meal satisfaction important factors that may influence their nutritional status. This study aimed to analyze the association between protein and fat intake, as well as satisfaction with meal services, and the students’ nutritional status. This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design, involving 60 students aged 12–18 years selected through total sampling. Dietary intake of protein and fat was assessed using two-day 24-hour food recall, while satisfaction levels were measured using a Likert scale. Nutritional status was evaluated based on BMI-for-age. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. Findings showed that 30% of participants had inadequate protein intake, and 41.7% had insufficient fat intake, although 73.3% of them had a normal nutritional status. Half of the students expressed satisfaction with the meal service, while the other half were dissatisfied. The statistical analysis indicated a significant relationship (p-value<0.05) between protein and fat intake and nutritional status. However, satisfaction with meal services was not significantly associated with nutritional status. In conclusion, intake of protein and fat significantly correlates with nutritional status, while satisfaction does not.

Abstract

Background : A woman's body undergoes physiological and immunological adaptations during pregnancy. These adaptations are intended to prepare the mother's body to support fetal growth and development. Nevertheless, the changes that occur can make the mother vulnerable to infections, which may subsequently lead to various pregnancy complications. The pathogens causing these infections can also be transmitted to the fetus, resulting in adverse effects on pregnancy outcomes. Objective : This study aims to analyze the relationship between various types of infection and weight gain during pregnancy. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : A quantitative study with a cross-sectional design was conducted on 118 pregnant women in the Cidadap Sub-district, Bandung City. Subjects included pregnant women aged 20–35 years, with a single pregnancy, and who routinely attended antenatal care. Pregnant women who were excluded from the study were those diagnosed with chronic diseases (degenerative diseases, cancer, etc.) and those who regularly consumed medication. Data collection involved interviews and direct measurements. The data collected included a history of infection in the last month, weight, height, and pregnancy characteristics. Correlative analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. Results : Several types of infections were identified, including upper respiratory tract infection, lower respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, genital tract infection, and gastrointestinal infection. The analysis results showed that pregnant women who experienced a gastrointestinal infection had a 4.174 times higher risk of having inappropriate weight gain for their gestational age (p=0.041), whereas other types of infection did not show a significant result (p>0.05). The symptoms of gastrointestinal infection experienced included nausea, vomiting (other than morning sickness), diarrhea, and stomach pain. Conclusion/Lesson Learned : Gastrointestinal infection during pregnancy increases the risk of weight gain inappropriate for gestational age in pregnant women. Insufficient weight gain during pregnancy can increase complications during pregnancy and childbirth, and negatively impact the health of both the mother and the fetus. Infection prevention measures before and during pregnancy are essential to maintain the health of the mother and the fetus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi DPRD Kabupatten Labuhanbatu dalam menyerap pokok-pokok pikiran untuk Pembangunan daerah. Menggunakan metode kualititatif deskriptif ditemukan bahwa norma sosial, faktor personal, dan struktur organisasi berkontribusi pada rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat. Hambatan seperti ketidakpahaman tentang proses politik, kurangnya edukasi, dan dominasi partai politik mengakibatkan suara kelompok minoritas terpinggirkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan kesadaran politik dan akses informasiuntuk mendorong partisipasi yang lebih luas dalam pengambilan Keputusan.

Abstract

Research aim: The study aims to examine the effect of food choice motives on consumers’ intention to avoid food waste in casual restaurants. Methods: This current study utilizes a quantitative approach with a Structural Equation Model (SEM) and through the perspective of planned behavior theory. Research Finding: It is found that 4 food choice motives have a positive and significant influence on consumers’ intention to avoid food waste in casual restaurants. Theoretical contribution/Originality: It is the first study in Indonesia examining the influence of food choice motives on consumers’ intention to avoid food waste in the casual restaurant (rumah makan) setting Practitioner/Policy implication: This research offers managerial implications that can be utilised by restaurants to develop environmentally friendly programs. Research limitation : It needs to include the context of online food delivery apps that facilitate consumers to buy food at restaurants and consume it at home.
