The development of the agricultural sector, particularly the ornamental plant subsector, has been identified as a significant economic opportunity. However, in the context of a competitive market, the success and productivity of businesses, particularly those operating on a micro, small, and medium scale, are influenced by a multitude of factors beyond mere technical production. The efficacy of marketing communication emerges as a pivotal element, as it has the potential to enhance business competitiveness and performance. The objective of this study is to examine the correlation between marketing communication and the productivity of ornamental plant businesses in Kadia District, Kendari City. The present study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a descriptive-correlational research design. The research population consists of all ornamental plant traders operating in the promotion and sales locations of Kadia District agricultural products, totaling eight individuals. The census method was employed as the sampling technique, while data collection techniques included interviews, surveys, and documentation. The study's focal point was the examination of the relationship between marketing communication and ornamental plant business productivity. The data analysis in this study was conducted quantitatively. The results indicated that the marketing communications of ornamental plant traders in Kadia District, Kendari City, were classified as "good," while their business productivity was categorized as "very good." Abstract

Islamic boarding schools increasingly function not only as religious educational institutions but also as drivers of local economic development. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Triple Helix Governance in strengthening Islamic boarding school–based agribusiness through the Trubus Sentra Agrobisnis (TSA) Producer Cooperative in Paser Regency. This research applies a qualitative case study method using interviews, observation, and document analysis to explore collaboration among government institutions, business actors, and research organizations. The results show that the development of TSA is supported by strong collaboration among key stakeholders. Government institutions provide policy support and facilitation, research institutions contribute technological innovation, while business actors and zakat-based organizations strengthen economic networks and production capacity. This collaborative governance model enhances institutional capacity and supports sustainable agribusiness development. The study demonstrates that Islamic boarding schools can transform into community-based economic institutions through cooperative mechanisms. The integration of religious values, innovation, and policy support makes TSA a replicable model for strengthening local agribusiness governance and sustainable regional development.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of work-related stress, social uncertainty, and cognitive overload in modern society demands the development of religious coping strategies that are not only normative but also have a testable scientific basis, especially since there is still a lack of a conceptual model that integrates religious teachings with neuropsychological evidence. This study aims to formulate a conceptual model of religious coping based on tawakkal (religious trust), based on an analysis of the authenticity and meaning structure of hadiths, and to synthesize empirical evidence from the psychology of religion and neuroscience to explain the neuropsychological mechanisms of stress reduction associated with the practice of faith and submission to God. The study employed an integrative study design that included an analysis of the text of the ṣaḥīḥ hadith using sanad-matn criteria, a review of the psychology of religion literature from major databases such as PubMed and Scopus, and a synthesis of neuroimaging findings and stress biomarkers using a thematic synthesis approach. The results indicate that tawakkal functions as an active coping strategy that involves realistic cognitive appraisal, restructuring meaning by shifting perceptions of personal burden, strengthening a sense of control through belief in causal regularity, and internalizing adaptive expectations. Neuropsychological synthesis shows that religious practices consistent with the concept of tawakkal are associated with decreased amygdala activity, which reduces threat perception, increased prefrontal cortex involvement in emotion regulation, and activation of the reward system, which produces calm and adaptive motivation. These mechanisms contribute to decreased rumination, greater affective stability, and increased psychological resilience, thus making tawakkal a significant potential basis for developing religious coping theory and values-based psychological interventions.

Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Cihanjuang Rahayu Village, West Bandung Regency, where a high prevalence of stunting coincides with a declining food-security index. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between household food security, dietary diversity, and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24–59 months. A cross-sectional design was employed, involving 94 toddlers selected through proportional stratified random sampling method. Toddler height was measured using a stature meter and analyzed using WHO Anthro software. Household food security was assessed using the Household Food Insecurity Access Scale (HFIAS), and dietary diversity was measured using a 24-hour recall and the Household Dietary Diversity Score (HDDS). Logistic regression analysis (SPSS v29) was conducted to control for potential confounders. Results: The prevalence of stunting in the study area was 30.9%. Food insecurity was significantly associated with stunting (p = 0.022; OR = 3.130; 95% CI: 1.182–8.284), as was low dietary diversity (p = 0.009; OR = 5.881; 95% CI: 1.564–22.107). In conclusion, these findings highlight the importance of improving household food access and dietary quality through targeted family based nutrition education and community-level interventions to effectively reduce the prevalence of stunting.

Abstract

The global economy is currently facing major problems such as social inequality, environmental damage, and lack of access to economic education for the people. Economic education for the people is an important way to achieve inclusive sustainable development in this regard. This article aims to examine how economic education for the people helps achieve the three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDG 8 relates to economic education for the people, decent work, and economic growth; SDG 10 relates to reducing inequality; and SDG 12 relates to responsible consumption and production. According to this study, economic education for the people has the potential to shape economic behavior that is oriented towards sustainability, cooperation, and independence. This is based on a literature review conducted by various national and international sources. Since micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia employ around 97% of the workforce and contribute more than 61% of GDP, there is ample evidence that the people's economic base plays a strategic role in supporting SDG 8. Economic education that emphasizes economic democracy, equal access, and social solidarity also helps reduce inequality (SDG 10) and encourages more sustainable production and consumption practices. This article also emphasizes that the people's economy must be further integrated into formal and non-formal education systems as a long-term policy strategy. Therefore, people's economy education is beneficial for both national development and fair, inclusive, and sustainable global development plans

Abstract

Colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) significantly impact patient survival with high recurrence rates. Traditional prognostic models often overlook tumor heterogeneity, leading to suboptimal risk stratification. To address this, radiomics was employed to quantify sub-visual tumor phenotypes, while ensemble learning was selected to robustly handle high-dimensional feature complexity and improve generalization capability. This retrospective study analyzed 145 CRLM patients from The Cancer Imaging Archive, extracting 1130 radiomics features from preoperative CT scans alongside clinical variables. Data were split into training (n=101) and testing (n=44) sets, with feature selection reducing the input to 16 key features. Three ensemble models (XGBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest) were optimized using Optuna, incorporating SMOTE and isotonic calibration. On the test set, XGBoost achieved ROC-AUC 0.918, sensitivity 0.739, and specificity 0.952. LightGBM yielded ROC-AUC 0.916, sensitivity 0.782, and specificity 0.904. Random Forest recorded ROC-AUC 0.888, sensitivity 0.826, and specificity 0.667. Key features included "progression or recurrence" and wavelet-based texture metrics reflecting tumor heterogeneity. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of combining CT radiomics with gradient boosting models to capture complex prognostic patterns. This integration enhances 5-year survival prediction in CRLM, offering a non-invasive tool for personalized risk stratification and improved clinical decision-making compared to the currently utilized traditional prognostic models.

Abstract

Street food plays a significant role in urban food systems, particularly in developing countries where it provides affordable and accessible meal options for diverse populations. This study examines the determinants of street food purchasing decisions among consumers in Lengkong Kecil, Bandung, a major urban culinary hub that attracts students and low- to middle-income groups. As ready-to-eat food becomes increasingly preferred for its convenience and affordability, understanding the role of food accessibility is critical. While previous studies have primarily focused on hygiene and price, this study highlights the combined influence of physical and economic access as a key determinant of consumer behavior. This study employed a cross-sectional analytical design involving 148 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Participants were consumers aged 18 years and older who purchased street food in the Lengkong Kecil area. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using logistic regression. The results showed that perceived food accessibility was the only variable significantly associated with purchasing decisions (p = 0.002; OR = 4.6; 95% CI: 1.7–12.3). Consumers who perceived street food as geographically accessible and economically affordable were significantly more likely to make purchases. Interestingly, although 58.1% of respondents perceived vendor hygiene as poor and 69.6% perceived sanitation as inadequate, these factors did not significantly influence purchasing decisions, highlighting a behavioral paradox in this urban context. In conclusion, food accessibility—defined by both proximity and affordability—plays a dominant role in shaping street food purchasing behavior. Policy and intervention strategies should focus on optimizing vendor placement in high-traffic areas, particularly near student populations, and maintaining affordable price points to better support urban consumers, especially those from low-income groups.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension remains a major global health problem, with a high prevalence and low treatment adherence. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 50-70% of patients do not adhere to antihypertensive therapy, which can hinder optimal blood pressure control. In addition, body mass index (BMI) is an important factor This study aimed to examine the association between medication adherence and body mass index among elderly patients with hypertension in the working area of the UPTD Motoboi Kecil Health Center. Methods: This study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 76 respondents were selected using purposive sampling based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Medication adherence was measured using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8), and BMI was assessed through direct measurement of weight and height. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test to determine the association between variables. Results: The findings showed that 52.6% of respondents were categorized as non-adherent to medication, while 39.5% had underweight BMI. Statistical analysis revealed a significant association between medication adherence and BMI (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Medication adherence is significantly associated with body mass index among elderly patients with hypertension, indicating that adherence to treatment may reflect broader health behaviors influencing nutritional status. These findings highlight the importance of integrating adherence support and routine nutritional assessment into hypertension management in primary healthcare settings.
