Abstract

Research aim: This study aims to determine empirically the effect of locus of control, work environment, and organizational support on performance through dynamic capability as an intervening variable in employees of CV. Berkah Abadi Plywood Kendal. Design/Methode/Approach: This research is a type of quantitative research that uses primary data in the form of company annual reports. The population in this study was 130 employees of CV. Berkah Abadi Plywood Kendal with all members of the population used as samples using saturated sampling techniques. Techniques used in data collection by distributing questionnaires as data collection instruments. The data analysis technique used in this study is PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling) with data processing using Smart PLS 4.0 tools. Research Finding: Based on the results of data analysis, the research findings are (1) locus of control has a positive effect on employee performance (2) work environment has no effect on employee performance, (3) organizational support has a positive effect on employee performance, (4) locus of control has a positive effect on dynamic capability, (5) work environment has no effect on dynamic capability, (6) organizational support has a positive effect on dynamic capability, (7) dynamic capability has a positive effect on employee performance, (8) locus of control has a positive effect on employee performance, (9) work environment has no effect on employee performance, (10) organizational support has a positive effect on employee performance mediated by dynamic capability.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the decline in employee morale at PT Kebon Agung Sugar Factory Trangkil Pati. This study aims to determine the effect of performance appraisal based on key performance indicators, welfare and work motivation on employee morale at PT Kebon Agung Trangkil Pati Sugar Factory. This study uses quantitative research methods. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. This research uses probability sampling techniques and simple random sampling techniques. The samples in this study are permanent employees of PT Kebon Agung Trangkil Gula Pati Factory in 2023 with a total of 250 respondents. The measurement of this study used a Likert scale which was then processed using the IMB SPSS Statistics Version 26 analysis tool. Data analysis consisted of validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression tests, F tests, t tests, and coefficient of determination of variables. Key performance indicators have a positive and significant effect on employee morale at PT Kebon Agung Trangkil Pati Sugar Factory, of 33,7% significance value of 0.000. The welfare variable influences employee job satisfaction at PT Kebon Agung Trangkil Pati Sugar Factory, with a significance value of 0.014. The variable of work motivation influences the morale of employees at PT Kebon Agung Trangkil Pati Sugar Factory amounted to a significance of 0.010. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the key performance indicator variables, welfare and work motivation affect the morale of the employees of PT Kebon Agung Trangkil Pati Sugar Factory, indicating that 34.6% of the variable morale is influenced by key performance indicator variables, welfare and work motivation and 65.4% is influenced by other variables not present in this study.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a very high level of vulnerability to disasters. Disasters that have often occurred in Indonesia have caused significant loss of life and material. Students as agents of change need to have good knowledge of disaster preparedness in order to provide positive changes to the community regarding disaster preparedness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of knowledge of PGRI Semarang University students regarding disaster preparedness through the effective use of floating excavators. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic. The sample in this study were PGRI University students who met the inclusion criteria set by the researcher. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using univariate analysis which was carried out on the characteristics of the respondents, namely age and gender and categorical variables, namely knowledge using percentage and proportion sizes. The results showed that as many as 207 (65.1%) respondents had an increased and good level of knowledge regarding disaster preparedness through the effective use of floating excavators. The conclusions obtained from the results of this study are that the students of PGRI Semarang University already have a good level of knowledge which may be caused by disaster preparedness training through the effective use of floating excavators. Therefore, the floating excavator is one of the tools that can be used in disaster management that students can learn.

Abstract

PT Tri Eka Investama Makmur Semarang adalah perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia yang berfokus pada bidang industry pengolahan kayu LVL (Laminated Veener Lumber). Peningkatan kinerja karyawan akan membawa kemajuan bagi perusahaan untuk dapat bertahan dalam suatu persaingan lingkungan kerja yang tidak stabil. Bahkan upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan merupakan tantangan manajemen yang paling serius karena keberhasilan untuk mencapai tujuan dan kelangsungan hidup perusahaan tergantung pada kualitas kinerja sumber daya manusia yang ada didalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja dan perlindungan hak karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada karyawan PKWT PT Tri Eka Investama Makmur Semarang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang menggunakan sampel jenuh yaitu semua anggota populasi karyawan di PKWT PT Tri Eka Investama Makmur Semarang dijadikan sampel, sampel keseluruhan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 76 responden. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penggumpulan data. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan PLS-SEM. Bersadasarkan dari penelitian di PKWT PT Tri Eka Investama Makmur Semarang, maka hasil menunjukkan disiplin kerja dan perlindungan hak karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja secara langsung, serta perlindungan hak memengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja memediasi hubungan tersebut, meskipun disiplin kerja tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan perlindungan hak dan program disiplin untuk kinerja optimal di industri manufaktur.​

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job autonomy and work environment on employee performance with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. This study was conducted at the Semarang City Trade Office. The researcher used primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires via Google Forms and questionnaire sheets to employees of the Semarang City Trade Office. The population in this study consisted of employees of the Semarang City Trade Office. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 154 respondents. The analysis tool used in this study was SmartPLS version 4.0. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS version 4.0. The results of this study are that job autonomy has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job autonomy has no significant effect on self-efficacy, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, self-efficacy mediates the effect of job autonomy on employee performance, and self-efficacy mediates the effect of the work environment on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction at PT. Kelola Jasa Artha Semarang, with work motivation as a mediating variable. Work discipline and organizational culture are considered important factors influencing employee motivation and job satisfaction. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 105 respondents working at PT. Kelola Jasa Artha Semarang. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and path analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The results indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, organizational culture has a positive effect on work motivation, and work motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, work motivation has been shown to mediate the influence of work discipline and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction. Therefore, improving work discipline and a supportive organizational culture can increase work motivation, which ultimately leads to increased employee job satisfaction within the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Self-esteem, Self-efficacy, on employee work spirit, to analyze the influence of Self-esteem, Self-efficacy and work spirit on employee job satisfaction, to analyze the influence of Self-esteem on employee work spirit through job satisfaction and to analyze the influence of Self-efficacy on employee work spirit through job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The sample of this study amounted to 87 respondents. The results of this study can be concluded that Self-esteem has a negative effect on employee work spirit, Self-efficacy has a positive effect on employee work spirit, Self-esteem, Self-efficacy and work spirit have a positive effect on employee work satisfaction, Self-esteem has a positive effect on employee work spirit through job satisfaction and Self-efficacy has a positive effect on employee work spirit through job satisfaction”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh employee engagement, kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya keterlibatan karyawan, kualitas SDM, serta sistem kompensasi yang tepat dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan pencapaian target perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 90 responden yang merupakan karyawan perusahaan, dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS dengan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel employee engagement, kualitas SDM, dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat keterlibatan karyawan, semakin baik kualitas SDM, serta semakin sesuai kompensasi yang diberikan, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja yang dihasilkan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa manajemen perusahaan perlu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan, melakukan pengembangan kualitas SDM secara berkelanjutan, serta menetapkan sistem kompensasi yang adil dan kompetitif agar kinerja karyawan dapat optimal.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini ntuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana manajemen talent pool, work life balance, dan kesejahteraan karyawan secara bersama-sama memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di PT Nasmoco Tegal guna meningkatkan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen talent pool, work life balance, dan kesejahteraan karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Nasmoco Tegal. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena rendahnya kinerja sebagian karyawan meskipun rata-rata kinerja terlihat stabil, yang tercermin dari ketidaksesuaian penyelesaian tugas, pelanggaran jam kerja, rendahnya kerja sama, dan kurangnya kepedulian terhadap rekan kerja. Ketiga variabel independen dipilih karena literatur sebelumnya menunjukkan hasil yang beragam terkait pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja, sementara penelitian yang menguji ketiganya secara simultan, khususnya di PT Nasmoco Tegal, masih jarang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan otomotif jasa bengkel di PT Nasmoco Tegal yang berjumlah 120 orang, sekaligus menjadi sampel penelitian melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner berbasis skala Likert, dilengkapi dengan observasi dan data sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, manajemen talent pool berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, work life balance berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan, dan kesejahteraan karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Koefisien determinasi (R²) mengindikasikan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas mampu menjelaskan proporsi variabilitas kinerja karyawan secara substansial, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya perusahaan mengelola talent pool secara strategis, menciptakan keseimbangan kerja-hidup yang mendukung, serta memastikan kesejahteraan karyawan untuk meningkatkan kinerja secara optimal. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi penguatan program pengembangan talenta, penyusunan kebijakan work life balance yang lebih fleksibel, dan peningkatan fasilitas kesejahteraan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan karyawan

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the independence of the creative industry through Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven digital transformation and skill mapping for the JAMARIS SME in Jatijajar Village. This SME, which operates in the creative sector, often struggles to maximize its business potential and compete in an increasingly digital market. Therefore, this training is designed to introduce AI technology and skill mapping as tools for more efficient business planning and management. Through this training, participants are equipped with basic skills in AI, including how to map existing skills within an organization and utilize data for more informed decision-making. After participating in the training, participants showed significant progress in mastering digital technology, with 85 percent of them able to utilize AI for market analysis and design more effective business strategies. In addition, 75 percent of SMEs reported increased efficiency in business management. The results of this activity indicate that AI-based digital transformation can strengthen SME competitiveness, increase productivity, and open up new opportunities for innovation in the creative industry of Jatijajar Village SMEs.
