Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of skill agility on teachers’ performance in public junior high schools in Sragi District, Pekalongan Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design. The population consisted of 173 teachers, with a sample of 121 respondents determined using the Isaac and Michael formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression after fulfilling prerequisite tests, including normality, homogeneity, and linearity. The results indicate that skill agility has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance (p < 0.05), with a contribution of 73.7%. This finding suggests that teachers’ ability to learn quickly, think flexibly, and adapt to change is a key factor in enhancing professional performance. The cognitive agility dimension was identified as the most dominant indicator in shaping skill agility. This study implies that efforts to improve teachers’ performance should focus on developing individual adaptive capabilities as a key competency in responding to the dynamic nature of education.

Abstract

School principals play a crucial role in shaping teacher performance through their managerial skills. This study examines the impact of technical, human, and conceptual skills on teacher effectiveness, focusing on motivation, classroom management, and instructional quality. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from a primary school. The findings reveal that human skills, particularly communication and teacher support, have the most significant influence on teacher performance, fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment. The study highlights challenges such as administrative burdens and resistance to change among teachers, which hinder effective school leadership. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and educators in designing targeted interventions to strengthen school leadership and teacher effectiveness. By addressing these areas, schools can create a more adaptive and dynamic learning environment that benefits both teachers and students.

Abstract

The increasing demand for improving educational quality requires schools to adopt innovative and collaborative management approaches. This study aims to analyze the implementation of school management based on knowledge transfer at SD Negeri 03 Doro, Pekalongan Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design to explore in depth the processes, mechanisms, and impacts of knowledge transfer in improving school management quality. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of knowledge transfer-based management has been carried out systematically through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating functions. Knowledge transfer occurs through collaborative activities such as mentoring, coaching, co-teaching, and sharing best practices among teachers. This process contributes significantly to improving teachers’ competencies, instructional quality, and participatory decision-making. Furthermore, it strengthens school governance and enhances community trust. The novelty of this study lies in integrating knowledge transfer as a structured managerial strategy in primary school management, rather than merely informal knowledge sharing. However, the study is limited to a single research site and constrained by variations in teacher competencies and resource availability. Future research is recommended to expand the scope and apply mixed methods to obtain more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

Teachers’ performance plays a crucial role in determining the quality of education, yet it often remains inconsistent due to challenges in adapting to rapid educational changes. This study aims to examine the effect of adaptive learning, skill agility, and training on teachers’ performance in public junior high schools in Sragi District, Pekalongan Regency. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The population consisted of 173 teachers, with 121 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that adaptive learning, skill agility, and training have positive and significant effects on teachers’ performance, both partially and simultaneously. Skill agility shows the strongest influence (β = 0.767), followed by training (β = 0.279) and adaptive learning (β = 0.233). The model demonstrates high explanatory power, with an R² value of 0.866, indicating that 86.6% of the variance in teachers’ performance is explained by the three variables. These findings highlight the importance of adaptive capacity and continuous professional development in improving teachers’ performance. Therefore, an integrated approach combining adaptive learning, skill agility, and training is essential to enhance teacher effectiveness in dynamic educational environments.
