Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the Discovery Learning Learning Model on Interest in Learning Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mulamula, Sianjur Mulamula District, Samosir Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a pre-experimental research type with a "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design" design. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mulamula, Sianjur Mulamula District, Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians, totaling 140 people and a sample of 32 people was determined using purposive sampling. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with 20 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant influence of the discovery learning learning model on students' interest in learning in the subject of Christian Religious Education and Character Education for Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mulamula, Sianjur Mulamula District, Samosir Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024, proven by the significant test obtained by the value tcount > ttable (α=0.05; dk=n-1=31) which is 7.809 > 2.042, thus there is a significant influence between variable X and variable Y. Thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

In the digital era and information technology, visual media, such as images, videos and animations, have become an integral part of the learning process. Learning motivation is also an important factor in determining the extent to which students are involved in learning. This research focuses on the lack of use of visual media in learning, obstacles to school infrastructure, low student learning achievement, lack of student motivation to learn, and the lack of variety in visual media used by teachers. This research aims to analyze the influence of the use of visual media and learning motivation on achievement studying economics for class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Sipoholon, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The population was 100 students from class The results of data analysis show that 1) There is a positive and significant influence of Visual learning media on the economic learning achievement of class XII IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year. XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Sipoholon Academic Year 2023/2024 3) There is a positive and significant influence of visual media learning and learning motivation on economic achievement in class XII class XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Sipoholon Year 2023/2024. 1) hypothesis testing obtained a coefficient of determination of 51.98% and Fcount>Ftable, namely 11.724>2.06, thus it is known that there is a positive influence of variable X1 with variable Y, 2) hypothesis testing obtained a coefficient of determination of 77.616% and Fcount>Ftable, namely 103.057>2.06. Thus it is known that there is a positive influence of variable together with variable Y. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Bureaucratic reform in every line of government agencies has changed the pattern of information disclosure through the digitalisation of government bureaucracy. Along with the demands of digitalisation and the issuance of Permen PanRB Number 6 of 2022, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Medan City as a government agency must participate in the successful implementation of performance management through the BKN e-performance application. For this reason, the researcher formulated the problem 'how is the application of the e-performance application for religious education teachers at the primary school level at the Medan City Office of the Ministry of Religion and how the e-performance application can improve teacher behaviour and work results'. The purpose of the research is to describe and analyse the process of implementing the e-performance application by religious education teachers in improving work outcomes and work behaviour. The research method in this study uses qualitative research using Miles and Huberman data analysis. The research subjects were religious education teachers at the primary school level at the Medan City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, with 10 (ten) main informants and 3 (three) key informants as verifiers, namely 1 (one) staffing section and 2 (two) section heads. The results of the study generally show that the implementation of the e-performance application has been carried out but not in accordance with the stages of performance management and the application of the BKN e-performance application can improve the work results and work behaviour of teachers, this is based on the results of interviews conducted on the main informants and key informants. On the other hand, the implementation of the e-performance application is not accompanied by socialisation and training, limited IT skills of teachers, the absence of performance dialogue to reach an agreement in determining RHK, setting expectations and assessment standards for work results and work behaviour. In addition, the predicate assessment does not show any differences in work results between teachers and cannot be used as a reference for teacher performance progress. Referring to the results of the study, the researcher recommends that teachers be more proactive in seeking information and learning independently. The researcher also recommends that the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Medan City continue to provide e-performance training, form a special performance team, build performance dialogue, quantitative/numerical form of assessment of work results and behaviour, and include curves/diagrams of improvement in performance results and behaviour in the application as a measure of performance success.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the impact or consequences of parental divorce on children's psychology, where children feel depressed because of lack of attention, lack of affection and children become lonely, sad, shy and quiet even their daily needs are not fulfilled, both in terms of material, affection, attention from both parties, both from the father and the mother. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the factors that cause divorce that occurs in the Tarutung District Court, and what is the impact of parental divorce on the behaviour of children who carry out divorce in the Tarutung District Court. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors cause divorce that occurs in Tarutung District Court, and to find out what the impact of parental divorce is on children's behaviour. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the factors that cause divorce that occurs in Tarutung District Court, and to find out what is the impact of parental divorce on the behaviour of children whose parents experience divorce. This research is a type of field research (Field Research) with a qualitative approach using descriptive analysis. The sources of this research are 4 families who experienced the divorce process at the Tarutung District Court. The results obtained from this study indicate that the factors causing parental divorce in Tarutung District Court are due to several factors, namely economic factors, infidelity factors, husbands rarely return home, and excessive jealousy. And the impact of parental divorce on the behaviour of children whose parents divorce in Tarutung District Court often experience negative behavioural impacts, namely causing shame, sadness, children become quiet, and children become irritable.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the concept of child education based on the book of Proverbs in facing the era of society 5.0 where the challenges in educating children are increasingly complex and need to be addressed properly by parents. The research questions formulated are how is the concept of child education based on the book of Proverbs and how does child education based on the book of Proverbs face educational challenges in the era of society 5.0? This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach in which the researcher examines the book of Proverbs by examining texts related to the topic of discussion and conducting a word study of several parts of the related text. The results of this study are useful both theoretically and practically. The novelty of this research is a comprehensive study related to child education in the book of Proverbs facing the era of society 5.0. Whereas previous studies focused more on one passage or one verse of Proverbs without linking it to the era of society 5.0 and in other sections there were studies of the era of society 5.0 but were not accompanied by biblical foundations only limited to general studies. The study presented can be used as reference material for future researchers.

Abstract

Educational technology is the most important thing in online learning. Therefore, in the present day, teachers need educational technology. Teachers must be able to use technology in education so that it can improve learning achievement in students' understanding and knowledge. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive quantitative approach, namely by assigning numerical values to the data that had been collected from the research results, based on predetermined measurement criteria. The data needed in this study was about the Effect of Educational Technology by PAK Teachers on the Learning Achievements of Students in Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Medan. In the process of obtaining this data, the method used in this study is an indirect communication approach, with the means of collecting information in the form of standardised questionnaires (questionnaires with predetermined answers). The population obtained was 120 students. The result of this study is that the influence of educational technology by PAK teachers on student learning achievement is very influential in significantly improving the learning achievement of students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Medan.ABSTRAKTeknologi pendidikan merupakan hal terpenting dalam pembelajaran online atau daring. Oleh sebab itu, pada masa sekarang dibutuhkan  teknologi pendidikan sangat diperlukan oleh guru. Maka dari itu guru harus mampu menggunakan teknologi dalam pendidikan agar dalam teknologi  tersebut dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar  dalam pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta didik. Pada studi ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, yakni dengan menetapkan nilai numerik terhadap data yang telah dikumpulkan dari hasil penelitian, berdasarkan kriteria ukuran yang telah ditentukan. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai  Pengaruh Teknologi Pendidikan Oleh  Guru PAK Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Medan. Dalam proses perolehan data ini, metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah pendekatan komunikasi tidak langsung, dengan sarana pengumpulan informasi berupa angket atau kuesioner terstandardisasi (kuesioner dengan jawaban yang telah ditentukan). Populasi yang didapat adalah 120 siswa, Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pengaruh  teknologi pendidikan oleh guru PAK terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sangat berpengaruh secara signifikan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji: 1. Pengaruh Partisipasi guru dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran terhadap Kinerja Guru, 2. Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Kinerja Guru. Objek penelitian ini adalah guu SMA di Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, alat uji statistik IBM SPSS 22 dengan teknik analisa uji regresi, penelitian ini memberi bukti bahwa: 1. Partisipasi guru dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru, Nilai koefisien regresi variabel MGMP adalah 0.264 bernilai positif, Ini bermakna jika variabel kepemimpinan mengalami kenaikan 1 nilai, maka variabel kinerja guru mengalami kenaikan 0. 264 nilai. 2. Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru. Nilai koefisien regresi variabel Kepemimpinan (x1) adalah 0.10 bernilai positif, Ini bermakna jika variabel kepemimpinan mengalami kenaikan 1 nilai, maka variabel kinerja guru mengalami kenaikan 0.10 nilai. 3. Partisipasi MGMP dan kepemimpinan Transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh simultan terhadap kinerja guru SMA di Kecamatan Doloksanggul.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah secara parsial terhadap mutu Pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; 2) pengaruh disiplin kerja guru secara parsial terhadap mutu Pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; 3) pengaruh kemampuan manajerial secara Bersama sama terhadap mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya mutu Pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul dimana masih banyak siswa/I yang tidak masuk perguruan tinggi negeri. Beberapa factor yang mempengaruhi mutu Pendidikan adalah kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja guru. Dari hasil hasil Analisa data diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) persamaan regresi Y atas X1 dan X2 diperoleh Y = -3.689 + 0.540X1 + 0.956 X2, artinya bahwa setiap penambahan variable X1 satu satuan akan berkontribusi 0.540 terhadap mutu Pendidikan jika variable lain tetap, serta penambahan varibel X2 satu satuan akan berkontribusi 0.956 terhadap mutu Pendidikan jika variable lain tetap; 2) Variabel X1 dan variable X2 secara simultan mempengaruhi mutu Pendidikan sebesar 75.5%; 3) Uji hipotesa diperoleh: a) uji hipotesa X1 terhadap Y diperoleh persamaan regresinya Y = 45.810 + 0.846 X1 dan thitung = 9.290 >ttabel=1.997 sehingga H01 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan siginifikan kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap mutu Pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; b) X2 terhadap Y diperoleh persamaan regresinya Y= 1.442 X2 – 0.888 dan nilai thitung=9.664 > ttabel = 1.997, sehingga H02 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja guru terhadap mutu Pendidikan; c) uji hipotesa X1 dan X2 terhadap Y diperoleh nilai Fhitung =98.592 > Ftabel = 3.140 sehingga H03 ditolak dan Ha3 diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan siginifikan variable kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dan variable disiplin kerja guru secara Bersama sama terhadap mutu Pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul.

Abstract

Improving Students' Understanding of the Value of Places Through Demonstration Methods in Students of Class IV-C Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul School Year 2022/2023. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' understanding of the material of place values through the Demonstration method so as to improve student learning outcomes in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This class Action Research was conducted in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The type of action in this study is in the form of concrete actions, namely guiding students in the implementation of learning activities through the Demonstration method. The research was conducted in semester I, precisely in September-November 2022. This classaction research sub j ek is students in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency with a total of 4 students. The results showed that students' understanding of the venue value material increased after applying the Demonstration method thereby improving student learning outcomes. The average student learning outcomes increased after applying the Demonstration method to the Place Value material, where the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 45.00 increased to 80.00 in cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to Analyse the gap between social policy and the implementation of community participation in village deliberations, Identify the main obstacles that lead to low community involvement in village decision-making, Develop and test the effectiveness of the Participatory Education Management Model as an innovative approach to increase community participation in social policy, Evaluate changes in communication patterns and the quality of citizen proposals after the model is implemented, Develop participatory education-based policy recommendations to increase transparency and democracy in village social policy management. This research uses a pure qualitative approach with Borg & Gall's Research and Development (R&D) method, as well as the Dick & Cerey to systematically develop and test the model. Data were collected through a literature study of regulations related to social policy and community participation. In-depth interviews with villagers, village heads, community leaders, and village officials. Direct observation in village meetings before and after the model was implemented. Focus group discussions (FGDs) to identify barriers, evaluate the effectiveness of the model, and develop policy recommendations. Thematic analysis to explore patterns of change in community participation in village meetings. Data Triangulation to compare results from different sources and ensure the validity of findings. Before the model was implemented, community participation was only around 20%, after the model was implemented it increased to 60%. Women and youth are more actively involved where previously women's participation was only 10% and youth 5%, after the model was implemented it increased to 45% and 35%, the quality of community proposals is more data and fact-based and after receiving participatory education, residents are more confident in preparing proposals based on real needs and village social policies, village officials are more open to the aspirations of residents where before the model was implemented, decisions in village meetings were dominated by the village head and village officials. After the model was implemented, village officials were more active in listening to and considering villagers' proposals. The model is effective in improving transparency and democracy in village social policy, so participatory education is proven as an approach that can strengthen deliberation-based decision-making.
