Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the positive influence of organizational culture on affective commitment, (2) the positive influence of participative leadership on affective commitment, (3) the positive influence of intrinsic motivation on affective commitment and (4) the simultaneous positive influence of organizational culture, participative leadership on affective commitment of junior high school teachers in Tarutung sub-district, North Tapanuli district. The research population was all junior high school teachers in Tarutung sub-district, totaling 165 people. To determine the sample, a random sampling technique was used. The sample size was determined at 35%, obtained 58 people. The research data were obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale weight. The questionnaire was first tested on 30 teachers at Junior High School 1, Siatas Barita Sub-district, North Tapanuli  district,  to determine the validity and reliability of the research instrument. The analysis requirement test includes (1) normality test, using non-parametric statistical test, the data is normally distributed (2) linearity test, the value is more =0.335, =0.581, =0.790 >0.05 (3) multicollinearity test, the standard error value is low and multicollinearity is not detected, (4) relationship test (correlation) is obtained that each variable is related to variable Y. Where  is greater than . The results of the study concluded that (1) organizational culture has a positive effect on affective commitment with an  value of 0.437, meaning that organizational culture has a positive effect on teacher affective commitment of 43.7%, (2) participative leadership on affective commitment, the  value is 0.264, meaning that leadership has a positive effect on teacher affective commitment of 26.4%. (3) intrinsic motivation on affective commitment, the  value is 0.429, meaning that intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on teacher affective commitment of 42.9%, (4) From the results of the F test, it can be concluded that organizational culture, participative leadership and intrinsic motivation simultaneously positive influence affective commitment. The contribution of the three X variables is 25.30%. Thus, it is concluded that organizational culture, participative leadership, and intrinsic motivation simultaneously have a positive effect on the affective commitment of teachers at State Middle Schools in Tarutung Sub-District, North Tapanuli District.

Abstract

The research objectives were to determine: 1) the relationship between parental supervision and the Christian character of student at SMP Negeri 3 Sipoholon, 2) the relationship between peer interaction and the christian character of student at SMP Negeri 3 Sipoholon, 3) the relationship between parental supervision and peer interaction with christian character, Sipoholon 3 public Midlle School Student. In this research, a quantitative descriptive inferential approach was used. The population ofof all student at SMP Negeri 3 Sipoholon for the 2023-2024 academic year is 262 people.

Abstract

Pengadaan pejabat tinggi pratama di pemerintahan daerah memainkan peran penting dalam menjalankan pemerintahan yang efektif dan berkontribusi pada pembangunan daerah. Studi ini membahas kebijakan dan implementasi pengadaan pejabat tinggi pratama di Kabupaten Toba, mengidentifikasi kendala, dan memberikan upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Kurangnya transparansi dan adanya indikasi praktik nepotisme adalah masalah serius yang mengancam integritas proses seleksi. Badan Kepegawaian dan Pegembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kabupaten Toba memiliki peran sentral dalam memastikan integritas dan transparansi dalam pengadaan ini. Evaluasi berkala perlu dilakukan untuk memantau dan memperbaiki proses seleksi.

Abstract

Krisis lingkungan saat ini menuntut upaya konkret dari seluruh elemen masyarakat. Pendekatan eko-teologis memberikan perspektif religius dan etis dalam mengelola alam sebagai ciptaan Tuhan yang harus dijaga kelestariannya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat dalam memahami pengelolaan lingkungan berdasarkan nilai-nilai eko-teologis. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik pengelolaan lingkungan sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya perlindungan lingkungan dan munculnya inisiatif kolektif dalam pengelolaan sampah dan reboisasi.

Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health concern in Indonesia, particularly in rural communities where nutritional knowledge and access to health services are limited. This community service program, conducted in October 2024 at HKBP Hutaraja Dolok, aimed to address this issue by integrating quality statistical education with faith-based engagement to empower local communities in monitoring and reducing stunting. The program introduced basic statistical tools—including Z-scores, growth chart interpretation, and prevalence analysis—through interactive workshops targeting caregivers, youth, and church leaders. Religious leaders supported the intervention by embedding health messages within spiritual teachings to promote behavioral change. As a result, participants demonstrated improved understanding of child growth indicators, initiated independent height monitoring, and committed to sustained community involvement. The combination of data literacy and religious motivation proved effective in promoting evidence-based practices, reinforcing the value of statistical empowerment within culturally rooted health programs. This model offers a scalable approach to community-driven stunting interventions in faith-based settings.

Abstract

Improving Students' Understanding of the Value of Places Through Demonstration Methods in Students of Class IV-C Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul School Year 2022/2023. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' understanding of the material of place values through the Demonstration method so as to improve student learning outcomes in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This class Action Research was conducted in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The type of action in this study is in the form of concrete actions, namely guiding students in the implementation of learning activities through the Demonstration method. The research was conducted in semester I, precisely in September-November 2022. This classaction research sub j ek is students in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency with a total of 4 students. The results showed that students' understanding of the venue value material increased after applying the Demonstration method thereby improving student learning outcomes. The average student learning outcomes increased after applying the Demonstration method to the Place Value material, where the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 45.00 increased to 80.00 in cycle II.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 4 Pollung Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Tahun 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode statistik inferensial kuantitatif. Populasi adalah seluruh guru SMP Negeri 4 Pollung yang berjumlah 30 orang dan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan Angket tertutup positif sebanyak 50 item. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 4 Pollung Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Tahun 2023. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan adanya hasil uji persyaratan: a) uji pengaruh yang positif diperoleh nilai rxy = 0,615 > rtabel((=0,05,n=30) = 0,361 dengan demikian diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara variabel X dengan variabel Y. b) Uji signifikan hubungan yang diperoleh nilai thitung= 4,127 > ttabel((=0,05,dk =n-2=28)= 2,048 dengan demikian terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel X dengan variabel Y. 2) Uji pengaruh: a) Uji persamaan regresi, diperoleh persamaan regresi ̂ . b) Uji koefisien determinasi regresi (r2 ) = 37,8%. 3) Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji F diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 17,032 > 4,17. Dengan demikian Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.

Abstract

Variables This study aims to determine the effect of Principal Academic Supervision and Teacher Competence individually or together on the Quality of Education, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant effect between Principal Academic Supervision and Teacher Competence. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population of the study was all junior high school teachers in Doloksanggul District, totaling 176 people with a sample of 125 people. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire, which was compiled by the researcher based on the research variable indicators. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 teachers outside the research sample, and has been tested with validity and reliability tests. The results of the study show that: 1). There is a positive effect between Principal Academic Supervision on the Quality of Education obtained from tcount>ttable, namely 5.680>1.980, with a large influence of 42%, and there is a significant effect obtained from Y ̂ = 19.929 + 0.680X_1. 2). There is an influence between Teacher Competence on the Quality of Education of 40.1% with tcount>ttable, namely 5.233>1.980, 3). There is a positive and significant influence between the Principal's Academic Supervision and Teacher Competence together on the Quality of Education of 52.6% with Fcount>Ftable, namely 67.827>3.00, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on Performance partially or simultaneously, with the hypothesis that there is a positive effect of Work Motivation and Work Discipline on the Performance of Elementary School Teachers in Cluster 1 and 2 in Onan Ganjang District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population of the study was all teachers of Elementary Schools in Cluster 1 and 2 in Onan Ganjang District, totaling 63 people with a sample of 63 people. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire, which was compiled by the researcher based on the research variable indicators. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 teachers outside the research sample, and has been tested with validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique was with multiple linear regression tests. The results of this study recommend to teachers that in order to improve teacher performance, Work Motivation and Work Discipline must continue to be improved.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan membantu masyarakat dalam pencegahan stunting dan cara mengimplementasikan konsep moderasi beragama di lingkungan masyarakat di Desa Dolok Sanggul, Humbang Hasundutan. Kegiatan PkM dilakukan oleh tim dari Program Studi S3 Manajemen Pendidikan Kristen (MPK) Pascasarjana IAKN Tarutung yang mana kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui sosialisai dan tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pendahuluan, dan rapat koordinasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan mengumpulkan masyarakat di kantor desa sebanyak 150 orang. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk berdiskusi kepada para narasumber, dan berpartisipasi dalam sesi tanya jawab. Masyarakat menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dan tampak benar-benar membutuhkan wawasan tentang pencegahan stunting dan moderasi beragama. Terjalinnya komunikasi dan kerja sama yang baik antara tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dan masyarakat di Desa Dolok Sanggul memberikan harapan untuk kerja sama lebih lanjut. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini berhasil memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dalam pengetahuan tentang pencegahan stunting dan moderasi beragama.
