Abstract

Minuman teh herbal adalah minuman yang terbuat dari bahan herbal yang berkhasiat bagi kesehatan. minuman herbal umumnya mengandung antioksidan. Antioksidan adalah senyawa kimia yang dapat menyumbangkan satu atau lebih elektron kepada radikal bebas, sehingga radikal bebas tersebut dapat diredam. Salah satu tumbuhan yang mengandung antioksidan adalah rumput Kebar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui kandungan total fenol dan aktifitas antioksidan teh rumput kebar dari beberapa formulasi; dan (2); Mengetahui tingkat kesukaan konsumen terhadap produk teh herbal rumput kebar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total fenol berbeda nyata pada semua formula. Kadar total fenol tertinggi pada F1 dan terendah pada F4. Sedangkan kapasitas penangkalan radikal bebas DPPH, formula F1 paling tinggi dan tidak berbeda nyata dengan F2 dan F3, namun berbeda nyata dengan F4. Dari hasil uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa panelis lebih menyukai warna pada formula F3, aroma pada formula F1, rasa pada formula F1 dan F2, sedangkan penampilan keseluruhan pada formula F2. Teh herbal instan dari ekstrak rumput Kebar sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai minuman fungsional.

Abstract

Diagnostic Reference Level (DRL) is a method of optimizing patient doses in diagnostic and intervention procedures. The DRL value is obtained from the Volumetric Computed Tomography Dose Index (CTDIvol) which is obtained from a phantom with a diameter of 16 cm or 32 cm, so it is not yet possible to accurately estimate the dose for each patient, especially pediatric patients. The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) then issued a water equivalent diameter (Dw) parameter to calibrate the CTDIvol to obtain a Size-Specific Dose Estimate (SSDE) so that it is more specific and effective. This study aims to obtain local DRL values ​​and compare local DRL values ​​in two pediatric age groups. This study used data from 25 pediatric abdominal CT scan patients aged <15 years, divided into two groups, ages 0-4 years and ages 5-15 years. The results of this study showed that typical DRLCTDIvol values ​​for ages 0-4 years and 5-15 years were 3.09 mGy and 4.39 mGy respectively, while DRLSSDE for the two age groups were 3.25 mGy and 3.54 mGy respectively. There is a difference of 5.27% and 19.36% respectively from the local DRL value based on CTDIvol and SSDE for the two age groups. It can be seen that in the 0-4 year age group, the DRLSSDE value is greater than the DRLCTDIvol, conversely in the 5-15 year age group the DRLSSDE value is lower than the DRLCTDIvol which indicates that the dimensional factor affects the dose received by the patient.

Abstract

Background. Dental and gum disease is a health problem faced by many countries around the world. Dental and gum diseases begin with the formation of plaque on the tooth surface, as a result of the activities of bacteria in the oral cavity. Elimination of the bacteria as caries causal has been done in many ways, one of them by using plant extracts which have anticariogenic activities, such as gambir (Uncaria Gambir [Roxb.]). The aim of this study was to determine the effect of chewing candy containing gambir on the decrease of bacterial colonies and dental plaque formation. Methods. A Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design had been conducted in SMPN 17 of Junior High School in Palembang and Province’s Health Laboratory of South Sumatera, Indonesia. The population consisted of 50 participants, divided into 5 groups. Each group was chewing with 5%, 7.5%, 10% extract-gambir candies, no chewing candies, and chewing sucrose’s candies. Data were analyzed by using SPSS vers 22. Result. The results showed that all candies containing gambir extract were able to reduce the formation of dental plaque and to decrease the bacterial colonies in saliva. The best effect of this study was 10% extract-gambir candies. Conclusion. It can be concluded that extract-gambir candies were effective in the decline of dental plaque formation and bacterial colonies.

Abstract

Oil palm production is very dependent on the climatic condition and physical characteristic of the environment where the oil palm is grown. Its yield potential is declining when the oil palm experienced stressful conditions. Hence, monitoring oil palm production is important to predict oil palm production level. A study in Sungai Dua Oil Palm Plantation locations in Riau Province, Indonesia was conducted, on using Web GIS for managing the database of the production from year 2013-2017. Data of planting year, area of block, and oil palm production recorded. The ultimate aim of this research is in these areas was to evaluate the oil palm productivity in each block. This information will be utilized by managers and the decision makers in the plantation to take necessary and immediate action for the improvement of plantation productivity. Also, It is important to understand the differences of crop yield among blocks to to ensure production consistency. Abstract

Abstract Atmospheric pressure is one of the weather parameters that have an important role in meteorological services, especially inflight transportation. Atmospheric pressure sensors must be calibrated regularly to ensure the measurement results. The increasing number of atmospheric pressure sensors makes it impossible to calibrate in the laboratory because it can result in meteorological service downtime. Portable calibrators can be used to overcome this problem, by utilizing peristaltic pumps, solenoid valves, and microcomputers. The PID control is programmed on the microcomputer to control the speed of the peristaltik pump and the cycle of the solenoid valve to generate air pressure according to the set point determined automatically using the PID control. The Åström–Hägglund method has the lowest average stability uncertainty value at 0,003 hPa/

Abstract

The creative economy is one sector that has the potential to continue to be developed. Along with the lack of availability of natural resources to be exploited. So the government started to pay attention to the creative economy by establishing a provision in the form of Law Number 24 of 2019 concerning the Creative Economy. As regulated in PP No. 24 of 2022, the existence of an intellectual property-based lending system requires several parties to regulate intellectual property as collateral. Regarding the implementation of binding guarantees in the form of property rights debt, property rights procedures, and technical implementation in its enforcement, some need to be regulated further at a later date. In addition, financial institutions may be concerned about credit to creative economy actors, because there are no clear rules at this time. This research method uses library research methods with a normative legal approach. The results of this study are the extraordinary potential of Indonesia's creative economy has not been able to develop optimally because the awareness of creative actors about the value of the creative economy has not been maximized, there is no synergy, coordination, and implementation related to intellectual property-based creative economy financing between government sectors to overcome economic creative problems.

Abstract

Abstract : Indonesian social media has developed rapidly over time. This is supported by an increasingly sophisticated Internet infrastructure, including WiFi access and fiber optic networks. Indonesians are becoming more and more active in the world of social media, reaching tens of millions of people. A social media presence certainly has both positive and negative effects, so any content can easily go viral. When interacting or communicating through these mediums, a great many people abuse the ethics of socializing in cyberspace by uploading or commenting using harsh language known as verbal abuse doing. According to Wardaugh idea (2010) There are 6 types of swear words, namely Excretion, Death, Body Function Term, Religious Matter, Mother in Law and Sex Term In (Suryadi et al., 2021). The purpose of this study is to determine the form of language used in social media and the form of comments on social media Facebook and Twitter posts. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the survey data comes from the social media Facebook and Twitter, but the data comes in the form of verbal abuse comments on Facebook and Twitter. Data collection techniques using documented techniques. Data analysis used qualitative analysis techniques and techniques to confirm the validity of the data performed by confirming the persistence of observations and member checks. We found that the form of speech used in Facebook and Twitter writing is straightforward, accurate, and clear. On the other hand, abusive comments on Facebook and Twitter posts include: Swearing, exaggeration, offense, stigma, and animal treatment. Words of verbal violence on Facebook and Twitter show that Indonesians are still not polite in their language, so information is needed for the government and educational institutions to take strategic steps to overcome this problem be the source. We found that the big amount of harsh words are 81 words of Sex term words which are “f*ck* or “what the f*ck” and the small amount of harsh words are 7 words of Personal background (conditions) which are “b*stard” and “g*y”.

Abstract

Ethical leadership as a process helps connect the ethical elements of various leadership theories. This research is the result of a literature riviu of various studies and theories that can support leadership theory. Three processes will be explained here starting from conceptualization, definition and steps in the process of ethical leadership in this study, namely conceptualization, definition, steps of the ethical leadership process. Leadership styles according to several sources of experts have different meanings so that they have positive and negative sides.
