Abstract

This study investigates the complex dynamics of creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia by examining the influence of CEO social capital, marketing capability, and financial capability on business performance. It also explores business performance implications for the sustainable business practices of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. A quantitative approach was used, incorporating quantitative data collected through offline and online surveys of 504 samples. Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) 4 was used for data analysis. This study supported the hypothesis that CEO social capital, marketing, and financial capability significantly influence business performance. In addition, strong evidence was found for a positive relationship between business performance and sustainable business practices and the influence of sustainable business practices on the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This study underscores the multifaceted nature of entrepreneurship in Indonesia, where CEO social capital, effective marketing strategies, financial stability, and sustainable business practices are interconnected elements that contribute to firm success and the overall vitality of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. These findings have implications for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders who want to encourage entrepreneurship, support MSMEs, and strengthen Indonesia's entrepreneurial ecosystem for sustainable economic growth and development.

Abstract

One of the complications that arise after anaesthesia is hypothermia. Induction of general anaesthesia will cause vasodilation. Measures to prevent hypothermia can be done with a non-pharmacological approach called the rewarming method. in this study, namely to determine whether there is an effect of giving warm compresses using hot packs on increasing body temperature in postoperative patients with hypothermia in the Recovery Room (RR) of Prof. Dr. Aloeisaboe Hospital, Gorontalo City. used in this research is quantitative research using this research design is Pre-experimental with a one-group pre-post test design approach, the number of samples in this study is the same as the population of 10 respondents. The results showed that there was an effect of giving warm compresses using hot packs on increasing body temperature in postoperative patients with hypothermia in the Recovery Room (RR) of Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Hospital Gorontalo City with a P-Velue of 0.000 (α < 0.005). It is hoped that it can add information about giving warm compresses using hot packs to increase body temperature in postoperative patients with hypothermia and participate in providing nursing actions for giving hot packs to patients experiencing postoperative hypothermia in accordance with the SOP.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what strategies can be implemented at the Makassar Coffee House in Makassar City. The data collection method in this research uses field research by applying two methods, namely interviews and observation. The data analysis methods used are Internal Factor Matrix (IFAS), External Factor Matrix (EFAS), SWOT Matrix and SPACE Matrix. The research results show that in the IFAS Factors there are five strength factors and five weakness factors in the Makassar Coffee House (MCH) with a total IFAS Factor score of 1.00. In the EFAS factors there are five opportunity factors and three threat factors with a total score of 1.95. In the SWOT Matrix there are two S-O strategies, namely maintaining the taste, especially of coffee drinks and maintaining free delivery costs for delivery orders, S-T strategy, namely providing good service to customers and balancing product prices and raw material prices, W-O strategy, namely creating a new menu, especially coffee. and food as well as collaborating with local offices and providing special offers, W-T's strategy is to increase promotions. In the SPACE Matrix, the results are in quadrant I, so the suitable strategy to carry out is the S-O strategy.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the development of gene therapy in the era of modern biotechnology and analyze its application in the treatment of genetic and non-genetic diseases. The research uses the literature review method, which involves collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant scientific sources to answer research questions. The research results obtained based on a literature approach, namely gene therapy in the era of modern biotechnology, have shown significant progress in the treatment of various genetic and non-genetic diseases. Technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9 enable high-precision DNA editing, which has been used to correct genetic mutations, while for non-genetic diseases, gene therapy has provided innovative solutions, such as engineered CAR-T cells and RNA interference (RNAi). Gene therapy still faces various challenges, including the risk of off-target mutations, the body's immune response, and ethical issues and high costs. Gene therapy, as a result of technological developments and research, is expected to be an important solution for various diseases that have been difficult to treat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of leadership in improving team performance in a multicultural work environment in Baubau City. In the midst of the diversity of cultures and backgrounds that exist, leadership has a strategic role in creating synergy between different individuals, so that it can increase team productivity and effectiveness. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using interview and observation techniques to explore the perceptions of leaders and team members regarding the influence of leadership on team performance. The research results show that leadership that is inclusive, communicative and based on the values ​​of mutual respect is very influential in improving team performance, especially in managing existing cultural differences. This research provides insights for leaders in multicultural work environments to optimize their role in building effective teamwork, which in turn contributes to achieving organizational goals.

Abstract

Health resilience is a critical determinant of communities' ability to adapt to and overcome health challenges, particularly in contexts with significant socio-economic and healthcare disparities, such as Nigeria. This qualitative study explored the potential of mindful practices and cultural integration to enhance health resilience within Nigerian communities. Using purposive sampling, 30 participants, including healthcare professionals, cultural leaders, and community health workers, were selected from diverse regions of Nigeria. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings highlight the positive impact of mindfulness on emotional well-being and stress management, revealing its potential to improve health outcomes when adapted to align with local traditions. Culturally embedded health practices were found to play a pivotal role in shaping health behaviors, fostering community acceptance, and strengthening resilience. However, barriers such as limited awareness, resistance to change, and insufficient policy support hinder the widespread adoption of these integrated approaches. This study addresses gaps in existing literature by offering actionable insights for designing context-specific health interventions that leverage both modern psychological tools and traditional cultural practices. The integration of mindful practices and cultural dimensions presents an innovative pathway to address Nigeria's healthcare challenges, aligning with global health goals and fostering sustainable, culturally sensitive healthcare models. Future research should focus on evaluating the long-term impacts of such interventions and their scalability across diverse communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh current ratio, total asset turnover, dan return on equity terhadap harga saham dengan mempertimbangkan peran mediasi dari struktur modal pada perusahaan subsektor telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2019-2023. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 45. Pengelolaan data untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan solfware SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Current Ratio berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Harga Saham. Total Asset Turnover berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Harga Saham. Return on Equity berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Harga Saham. Struktur Modal berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Harga Saham. Current Ratio berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Stuktur Modal. Total Asset Turnover berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Struktur Modal. Return on Equity berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Struktur Modal. Current Ratio berpengaruh terhadap Harga Saham dengan Struktur Modal sebagai variabel mediasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan. Total Asset Turnover terhadap Harga Saham dengan Struktur Modal sebagai variabel mediasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Return on Equity terhadap Harga Saham dengan Struktur Modal sebagai variabel mediasi berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas yang diukur dengan current ratio, leverage yang diukur dengan debt to equity ratio, profitabilitas yang diukur dengan net profit margin, aktivitas yang diukur dengan total asset turn over, dan ukuran perusahaan yang diukur dengan logaritma natural secara parsial terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan sektor transportasi dan logistik yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2023. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 37 perusahaan dan sampel sebanyak 96 perusahaan yang diambil dari kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditetapkan penulis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel current ratio berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, variabel debt to equity ratio berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, variabel net profit margin berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, total asset turn over berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, dan variabel ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh rasio keuangan terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan subsektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2019–2023. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 perusahaan dan sampel sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Variabel independen yang digunakan adalah Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Inventory Turnover, dan Earning Per Share, sementara harga saham sebagai variabel dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh hubungan yang sedang antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Sementara variabel Current Ratio berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, variabel Debt to Equity Ratio berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, variabel Return on Assets berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham, variabel Inventory Turnover berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham, dan variabel Earning Per Share berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh rasio keuangandan ukuran perusahaan terhadap pertumbuhan laba perusahaan subsektor food and beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2020 – 2023. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (der), total asset turnover (TATO), net profit margin (NPM), dan ukuran perusahaan(SIZE).Jumlah sampel penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 96. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu dengan analisis liniear berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solutions) versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel current ratio berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, variabel debt to equity ratio berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, variabel total asset turnover berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, variabel net profit margin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, dan variabel ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba.
