Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe: (1) The effect of interest on the ability to memorize the Koran for students of the Tahfizh program at SMP Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Medan (2) The effect of learning styles on the ability to memorize the Koran for students at the Tahfizh program at SMP Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Medan (3) The influence of interest and learning style on the ability to memorize the Koran for students of the Tahfizh program at SMP Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Medan. This research was carried out at the Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Middle School in Medan, especially in the Tahfizh program class. This research is a quantitative study with a population of all Tahfizh program students consisting of 6 classes with a total of 93 students. The research sample is the entire population (total sampling). The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and tests. The data analysis used simple and multiple linear regression. The findings showed: (1) There is a positive and significant effect of interest on the ability to memorize the Koran with a contribution of 4.6% with the equation of the regression line Y = 79,786 + 0,087, (2) there is an influence of each -each learning style on students' ability to memorize the Koran, with details of the percentage of contributions as follows; visual learning style contributed 9.2%, auditory learning style reached 1.7% and kinesthetic learning style 0.00%. The learning style of students that is more dominant in influencing the ability to memorize the Koran is the visual learning style, which is equal to 9.2%. (3) There is an influence of interest and learning style on the ability to memorize the Koran together with a contribution of 5.3% with the regression line equation Y = 77.281 + 0.068X_1 + 0.037X_2+ e.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab siswa membolos serta upaya yang dilakukan oleh Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam menangani perilaku membolos siswa di SMA Al-Azhar Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru BK, wali kelas, dan siswa yang memiliki riwayat membolos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku membolos disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor internal seperti rasa malas, kurangnya motivasi, dan rendahnya minat belajar, serta faktor eksternal seperti pengaruh teman sebaya dan ketidaknyamanan dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam menangani siswa yang membolos, guru BK menerapkan pendekatan preventif, kuratif, dan represif, di antaranya konseling individu, pemberian peringatan, pemanggilan orang tua, hingga kunjungan ke rumah (home visit). Meskipun sekolah telah menggunakan aplikasi Green School untuk memantau kehadiran, masih ditemukan siswa yang membolos, menandakan perlunya kolaborasi yang lebih erat antara guru BK, wali kelas, dan orang tua. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya Guru BK sangat penting dan strategis dalam menekan angka ketidakhadiran siswa. Diperlukan kerja sama lintas pihak untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif dan mendukung perkembangan siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and school climate and bullying behavior at Al Manar Private Middle School, Medan. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational methods.The population in this study was 150 students with the sampling technique being total sampling and the sample in this study was 120 students by screening students who behaved in bullying ways and the results of the trial. The measuring tool used is a Likert scale to measure Self-Esteem and School Climate with Bullying Behavior. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The subjects in this research were students at Al Manar Medan with the research results showing that: (1) There is a significant negative relationship between self-esteem and bullying behavior as indicated by the coefficient = -0.525; p=0.001 p<0.05 results showed that self-esteem had a predictive power for bullying behavior of 27.5%. (2) There is a significant negative relationship between school climate and bullying behavior in Al Manar Medan which is indicated by = -0.546; p=0.000 p<0.05 The results showed that school climate had a predictive power on the emergence of bullying behavior of 29.8%. (3) There is a significant relationship between self-esteem and school climate and bullying behavior as indicated by the coefficient F=12.039 R= -0.560 while =0.313 with p=0.000 P<0.05. Together, self-esteem and school climate have a predictive power for the emergence of bullying behavior of 30.3%. From these results it is known that there is still a 69.7% contribution from other factors or variables to the formation of bullying behavior. From the results of this research, the proposed hypothesis is declared accepted.

Abstract

Low subjective well-being tends to underestimate their life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional regulation on the subjective well-being of honorary RA teachers through friendship as a mediator. Quantitative research method. Sample of 288 teachers. Data collection instrument questionnaire. Data analysis using SEM PLS 4. Research results (1) Emotional regulation affects teachers' subjective well-being. (2) Friendship affects teachers' subjective well-being. (3) Friendship mediates the effect of emotional regulation on teachers' subjective well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Market Day activities in developing the social skills of children aged 5–6 years at TK IT Bunayya 7. The research focuses on planning, implementation, evaluation, and challenges faced by teachers during the process. A qualitative approach was employed, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The subjects were 15 children from group B and their classroom teacher. The findings reveal that Market Day effectively fosters children’s social skills, including cooperation, communication, empathy, responsibility, and honesty. Through simple buying and selling activities, children learn to interact while practicing togetherness and Islamic values. Challenges identified include children’s inconsistent cooperation and teachers’ limited ability to manage the activities optimally. In conclusion, Market Day serves as a project-based learning method that provides meaningful, enjoyable, and contextual experiences to support the social development of early childhood.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memanfaatkanpotensi lokal Desa Pematang Johar dengan mengadakan workshop pembuatan sabun cucipiring beraroma pandan guna mendorong peningkatan ekonomi di masyarakat. Metodeyang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif yang secara langsungmelibatkan masyarakat melalui pelatihan pemasaran produk digital dan teknik pembuatansabun. Produk tersebut memiliki sertifikat Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI) dan merekJohar Clean. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat danpeningkatan kualitas sabun, khususnya dalam hal daya busa dan fungsi pembersihan.Kegiatan ini dapat membantu membangun usaha rumahan berbasis potensi lokal.Kata Kunci: loka karya, sabun cuci piring, pemberdayaan ekonomi, potensi lokal

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on Employee Engagement, with Job Satisfaction as a mediating variable. The phenomenon of low employee engagement in organizations highlights the importance of organizational support and job satisfaction as key factors in enhancing employees' involvement in their work. This research adopts a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), involving respondents from employees at PT X. The results show that POS has a positive and significant direct effect on employee engagement, with a coefficient value of 0.266 and a p-value of 0.017. Additionally, POS significantly affects job satisfaction with a coefficient of 0.793 and a p-value of 0.000. Job satisfaction also has a significant direct influence on employee engagement with a coefficient of 0.270 and a p-value of 0.020. The indirect effect of POS on employee engagement through job satisfaction is recorded at 21.4%, while the direct effect is higher at 26.6%, indicating that job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship. These findings emphasize that, in addition to the direct effect, job satisfaction plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between organizational support and employee engagement. This research offers practical insights for organizations to enhance engagement through improved support and job satisfaction strategies.
