Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan keaktifan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam penguasaan metodologi penelitian bidang konseling, terutama keterampilan merumuskan masalah penelitian, keterampilan memilih teori yang relevan dengan masalah penelitian, keterampilan merumuskan tujuan penelitian, keterampilan memilih metode penelitian, keterampilan memilih teknik sampling, keterampilan memilih teknik pengolahan data, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam memahami metodologi penelitian bidang konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini mahasiswa semester VI berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antusiasme dan aktivitas mahasiswa meningkat dengan penerapan metode Project-Based Learning. Proses pembelajaran metode Project-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan penguasaan mahasiswa tentang metodologi penelitian bidang konseling, Project-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa, khususnya metodologi penelitian kuantitatif bidang konseling, dengan Project-Based Learning mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dalam mengerjakan tugas sesuai dengan project yang disiapkan sebelumnya.Abstract:The study objective was to increase the students’ activities and skills in mastering the research methodology in the field of counseling, especially the skills in formulating research problems, selecting theories relevant to the research problems, formulating research objectives, selecting research methods, selecting sampling techniques, and selecting data analysis techniques, and to improve the students’ learning outcomes in understanding the research methodology in the field of counseling. This study used classroom action research method in two cycles. The research subjects were 32 students of the sixth semester. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the study indicated that; the students’ enthusiasm and activity increased with the application of Project-Based Learning method. the learning process using Project-Based Learning method could improve the students’ mastery about research methodology in the field of counseling, Project-Based Learning could improve the students’ learning outcomes, especially quantitative research methodology in the field of counseling,  and with Project-Based Learning, the students got on hand-experience in doing assignments in accordance with the project prepared in advance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the performance of counselors in the counseling process and the research process in high school. This study is an evaluation study to collect and analyze data systematically with regard to the performance of counselors in the counseling process and performance of counselors in research and the constraints that it faces. The results of this study indicate that the performance of counselors in the counseling process in general has been quite good, but in some aspects are still many weaknesses and shortcomings, among them: the data on identification of potential and problems of students is not complete, the purpose of counseling is not defined precisely in choosing / determining counseling intervention is still dominated by the problem of students, guidance and counseling services group and content mastery rarely implemented. Performance counselor in the research process is still tergolog very low because most of the counselors never carry PTK-BK, a small portion counselor believes that research counseling is less important and not important, most counselors rarely identify research questions, rarely formulate the design/ research proposal and a fraction counselor never established a design/ research proposal. The main obstacle counselor in research is lacking writing exercise science, lack of understanding of research methodology, less reading, there are no available references that are relevant, not master the technique of writing scientific, less able to formulate research problems, lack of awareness of the importance of research, lack of financial support, and a fraction counselor unskilled using a computer.

Abstract

Educational institution is an institution of the brain industry. Therefore, education is a vehicle for mental exercise. With education will be able to sharpen the brain to form human beings quality. Qualified people are intelligent human beings comprehensive and competitive savvy are reflected in personal moral, creative, and productive and full responsibility in living our daily lives. But the spotlight and complaints against educational institutions still occur, various perceived problems among students learn the lower interest. Students tend to subjects who tested nationally (National Examination), the methods used by teachers in teaching the more commonly used methods of lecture and question and answer, sometimes the discussion so that the lessons seem monotonous and less innovative, subjects received more students cederung nature doctrine in the form of memorization alone and rarely developed in the context of everyday life so that lessons just more leads to mastery of concepts and tend to train cognitive abilities-intellectual, not a lot of touching the realm of other intelligence in accordance with the potential of the students. The other problem is the tendency of the still rampant behavior is not commendable at this time in various forms, for example, students commit suicide because they do not pass the exam, involved in drugs, fighting between students, the behavior of cheating, careless, style punky, smoking, going out, and so become a reason for choosing this topic as study materials. The problem is what strengthens the belief writers to examine and assess the importance of the development of multiple intelligence through integrative learning-based game in an attempt to develop students' potential intelligence to realize a comprehensive and intelligent smart students competitive. This paper formulated into some discussion that begins with an introduction that lists reasons for the importance of this issue is discussed, and then forwarded to the review of the concept of multiple intelligence. Followed by a study on the definition, purpose and benefits of the games, the development of multiple intelligence through integrative learning-based games and ending with examples of games in integrative learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the new vision of school counselors in order to improve the quality of education services. This study uses library research methods by reviewing reference books, scientific journals, documents, magazines, legislation and the results of similar studies accessed through an open journal system via internet search. The data collected was analyzed by using conten analysis techniques to obtain theories or concepts in answering the problem of this research. The results of the study show that the implementation of a new vision of school counselors can improve the quality of education services in schools and madrasah. To that end, the performance of the school counselor is no longer positioned in the relief effort to overcome the problem of students, but the counselor carries out counseling to help students who are undergoing the process of self-development in order to achieve optimal development, independence and happiness in living life. Among the new visions of the school counselor are; (1) academic focus/ student achievement, (2) building based on student strengths, (3) counselors as program leaders, planners and developers, (4) focusing on academic counseling, learning and achievement, and supporting student success, (5) counseling is an integral part of the education system, (6) counseling services focus on mission and role identification, (7) using data to influence change, etc.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of academic stress students have. by showing the behavior of avoiding lessons, such as often leaving class when school hours, skipping lessons, not doing school work, ignoring school assignments. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral modification counseling approach (KMKP) in reducing students' academic stress. The method used was quantitative with the Quasi experimental research design. The design form used was the pretest-posttest control group design. Data analysis using non-parametric statistics, namely Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed an effective behavioral modification counseling approach to reduce students' academic stress. This is evidenced because the behavioral cognitive modification counseling approach places great emphasis on changing the internal dialogue of the counselee.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the altruistic behavior of student guidance and counseling. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this research is the students majoring in guidance and counseling at IAIN Batusangkar. Sampling with a purposive sampling technique, namely 7 semester 74 students. The results of this study indicate that only a small proportion of students possess altruistic behavior at high and very high classifications. While altruistic behavior in the aspect of wanting to give, empathy, volunteering, helping others, prioritizing others, and feeling the results are good for those who are helped and helped are in the medium classification.

Abstract

The problem in this study was caused by children who had problems in social interaction. The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of social interaction of foster children, namely children at the Aisyiyah Orphanage, Batusangkar Branch. This type of research is pre-experiment with type one group pre-test-post-test design. From the research carried out, the results showed that group guidance services had a significant effect on the quality of social interaction of foster children at a significance level of 1%. This means that group guidance services are effective in improving the quality of social interaction of foster children.  Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini dilaterbelakangi oleh banyaknya anak asuh yang memiliki masalah dalam interaksi sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap peningkatan kualitas interaksi sosial anak asuh, yaitu anak binaan di Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Cabang Batusangkar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen dengan tipe one group pre-test-post-test design. Dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan, diperoleh hasil bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas interaksi sosial anak asuh. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji statistik bahwa thitung >ttabel  pada taraf signifikan 1%. Hal ini berarti bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas interaksi sosial anak asuh.

Abstract

Pengembangan media layanan informasi karir berbasis macromedia flash yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa kelas IX SMP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengembangkan media layanan informasi karir berbasis macromedia flash yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa kelas IX SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model (ADDIE) yang meliputi lima tahap yaitu: Analysis, Design, Develop, implement, dan Evaluate. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan skala. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga indikator kebutuhan siswa terhadap informasi karir diantaranya: informasi sekolah lanjutan setelah SMP, informasi penjurusan sekolah lanjutan dan informasi jenis pekerjaan pada industry 4.0. Tahap perancangan pada penelitian ini menghasilkan 2 produk, yaitu: media layanan informasi karir berbasis macromedia flash untuk siswa kelas IX SMP dan buku pedoman penggunaannya. Hasil pengembangan produk penelitian ini berada pada kategori sangat valid, dan hasil implementasi produk penelitian berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Evaluasi akhir hasil penelitian berada pada kategori sangat valid dan sangat praktis digunakan dalam pelaksanaan layanan informasi karir untuk siswa kelas IX SMP.

Abstract

Critical thinking is the mother of life. Critical thinking skills are one of the fundamental skills in the modern era. This study aims to examine the effect of the guided discovery model on students' critical thinking skills. This study uses an experimental method with a one group pree-test-post-test design with a population of IAIN Batusangkar students taking the sociology of religion course. The sample was determined by random sampling technique with a sample of 28 people. Data were collected using a scale-shaped instrument. Data processing with the help of SPSS .05 application. Prerequisite tests were carried out before data analysis, namely normality test and homogeneity test. Analyzed data using paired sample t test. The results showed the guided discovery model had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills and it was proven that there was a significant difference between students' critical thinking skills before and after the application of the guided discovery model. The criteria for the significance of the results of the study were strengthened by the N-Gain value the data before and after treatment which was in the very good category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemahaman sarjana terhadap eksplorasi pengembangan karir di Nagari Cubadak Kec. Lima Kaum Kab. Tanah Datar dan implikasinya terhadap konseling karir. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengatahui bagaimana pemahaman sarjana terhadap karirnya, faktor penyebab banyaknya sarjana yang memilih bekerja tidak sesuai dengan jurusan, penyesuaian diri sarjana terhadap lingkungan kerja, kekuatan/ kelemahan dalam berkarir, upaya para sarjana untuk mengembangkan karir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 sarjana. Teknis analisis data adalah reduksi data, editing data, deskripsi data dan menyajikan data. Teknik penjamin keabsahan data ini adalah triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian tentang eksplorasi pengembangan karir sarjana dan implikasinya terhadap konseling karir diperoleh data bahwa ada 11 (sebelas) sarjana yang paham tentang perkembangan karirnya karena mereka mengikuti les dalam bidangnya, hobbynya dan mereka mengikuti training serta pelatihan-pelatihan yang diadakan diluar kantor, namun ada 4 (empat) sarjana yang tidak paham tentang perkembangan karirnya pada umumnya mereka bekerja tidak sesuai dengan kemampuan karir yang mereka miliki, dan memiliki alasan karena tidak sesuai dengan jurusan saat kuliah. Faktor penyebab banyaknya sarjana yang memilih bekerja tidak sesuai dengan jurusan karena tuntutan keadaan karena sudah sangat membutuhkan pemasukan, ketersediaan lapangan kerja yang sesuai jurusan masih terlalu sedikit, kantor yang membuka lowongan tanpa melihat latar jurusan.
