Abstract

This study discusses the dowry in the perspective of the Qur'an and its relevance to the tradition of mahar mayam in Aceh. The phenomenon of declining marriage rates in Aceh, one of the causes of which is the high price of gold dowries (mayam), forms the background to this study. The purpose of this study is to analyze the compatibility between the practice of dowries in Acehnese tradition and the principles of the Qur'an. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach. The primary data sources included the Qur'an, the book Jeunamee: Konsep dan Makna Mahar dalam Masyarakat Aceh (Jeunamee: The Concept and Meaning of Dowry in Acehnese Society) by Essi Hermaliza Soraya Devy, and Bid?yah f? al-Tafs?r al-Maw???? by al-Farmawi, which were used as theories. Secondary data were obtained from tafsir books and relevant literature related to dowry and Acehnese culture. The results of the study show that the Qur'an does not specify the amount of dowry, so giving a large dowry is permissible as long as it does not burden the prospective husband. In Acehnese tradition, 3.3 grams of gold is called one mayam, and the amount of dowry generally ranges from 10 to 30 mayam, depending on the social background and education of the prospective bride and groom. The dowry tradition in Aceh is in line with the principles of the Qur'an, but the Qur'an emphasizes the ease of marriage so that the dowry does not become an obstacle for the couple.

Abstract

Diverse prior research reveals gaps in integrating cognitive and social-emotional development theories into primary school learning design, particularly within Indonesia's digital-era context. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework bridging both developmental aspects to design responsive learning in Indonesian primary schools. Employing an Integrative Literature Review, this study examined 65 national and international journal articles, academic books, and research reports published 2015-2025 through systematic search strategies, defined inclusion-exclusion criteria, and thematic analysis. Findings identify that child aged 7-11 years in the concrete operational stage require learning emphasizing hands-on experiences, concrete representations, and contextual activities. Integration of social-emotional aspects, self-awareness, emotion management, social relationships, and empathy, demonstrates significant correlation with learning motivation, classroom participation, and academic achievement. This study offers a comprehensive framework integrating Piaget's cognitive development theory with Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), generating five implementable strategies: differentiated instruction, experiential learning, systematic SEL integration, balanced technology utilization, and teachers' role as holistic facilitators. The conceptual contribution provides theoretical-practical foundations for developing responsive learning designs that comprehensively accommodate children's developmental needs in Indonesian primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Transformational Leadership and Work Culture on Employee Performance at PT Dinasti Kreatif Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents as the primary data source. The analytical techniques applied include validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that Transformational Leadership significantly influences Employee Performance, indicated by a t-value of 8.837 with a significance level of 0.000. Work Culture also significantly influences Employee Performance, with a t-value of 6.556 and a significance level of 0.000. Simultaneously, both independent variables have a significant effect on Employee Performance, as shown by an F-value of 58.367 with a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.661 indicates that 66.1% of the variation in Employee Performance is explained by these two variables, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. Thus, this study concludes that the implementation of strong transformational leadership and a positive work culture plays an essential role in improving employee performance. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for companies in developing managerial strategies to create a productive and collaborative work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious moderation values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving PAI teachers, the school principal, and students as informants through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that religious moderation values have been integrated into learning materials, teaching methods, teacher role modeling, and extracurricular activities, with an average achievement of 86% (very good category). The main supporting factors include school leadership policies, the Merdeka Curriculum, student participation, and adequate facilities, while the inhibiting factors include social environment influences, limited specialized literature, differences in teacher understanding, and limited instructional time. The study demonstrates that the implementation of religious moderation at SMP Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi has been effective but still requires reinforcement of literature, teacher training, and community collaboration to ensure the values of moderation are optimally internalized.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing phenomenon of student disrespect toward teachers, which has the potential to disrupt the learning process, weaken pedagogical relationships, and erode character values in schools. This research aims to explore the forms of student disrespect toward teachers, analyze teachers’ and students’ perceptions of such behavior, and identify the psychological impacts experienced by teachers. The study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research was conducted at MTs Al-Munawwarah Kota Jambi, particularly in class IX B, and participants were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed inductively through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The results show that student disrespect appears in verbal forms such as the use of harsh language and impolite interruptions, non-verbal forms such as dismissive facial expressions and unresponsive attitudes, and digital forms such as inappropriate posts or messages related to teachers on social media. The main contributing factors include family background, peer influence, and exposure to social media. The impacts experienced by teachers include emotional distress, feelings of being undervalued, decreased teaching motivation, and disruptions to classroom climate and learning effectiveness. This study concludes that student disrespect is a multidimensional problem that requires a comprehensive response through strengthening character education, internalizing religious and cultural values of politeness, and fostering active collaboration between schools and parents to build a sustainable culture of respect.

Abstract

Prior systematic reviews on community well-being have predominantly focused on single-discipline approaches without integrating gendered social stratification, social interaction, and social change as a unified analytical framework, particularly in developing-country contexts such as Indonesia. Existing literature also largely examines well-being programs at the implementation level, leaving the gendered structural underpinnings of effective policy design insufficiently theorized. This study addresses these gaps through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 47 peer-reviewed articles published between 2012 and 2024, sourced from Google Scholar, Scopus, and GARUDA, of which 28 met the inclusion criteria and underwent thematic analysis. The novelty lies in positioning gendered social stratification alongside social interaction and social change as three interlocking conceptual pillars, rather than isolated variables, capable of explaining how gender-based inequality reproduces poverty and social exclusion within Indonesian communities. Findings demonstrate that integrating gender-sensitive social science concepts into policy design yields more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable well-being outcomes than single-concept or gender-blind approaches. This review concludes that embedding gendered social science frameworks into policymaking is an epistemological prerequisite for achieving comprehensive community well-being in Indonesia amid globalization and technological transformation, and calls for evidence-based, cross-disciplinary collaboration between social scientists, gender advocates, policymakers, and community stakeholders.

Abstract

Determining a production decline model is a critical step in analyzing the performance of Shale Gas reservoirs, which exhibit complex fluid flow characteristics. This study aims to identify the most appropriate Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) model and estimate the rate of production decline based on historical data. The data used including production rates, time, and cumulative production were obtained from Mazher Ibrahim and processed using Microsoft Excel. The methods employed include exponential, hyperbolic, and harmonic models using curve-fitting approaches and evaluation of the coefficient of determination (R²). The analysis results indicate that the hyperbolic model is the best fit, with a decline factor (b) of 0.6 and a decline rate (D) of 2%. These values indicate that the production decline is moderate and relatively stable.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational program in improving knowledge about menopause among adult women. The background was based on findings that the majority of women feel unprepared to face the menopausal transition due to significant knowledge gaps. The method employed was a single educational intervention in the form of a seminar, followed by knowledge assessment through pre-test and post-test. The participants consisted of nine women aged 35–54 years from the "Manjah Squads" community in Tangerang. The pre-test results indicated basic understanding but revealed gaps in knowledge regarding non-physical symptoms, long-term health risks, and appropriate management. Descriptive analysis of the two participants who completed the post-test demonstrated holistic improvement in knowledge, encompassing understanding of perimenopause, genetic factors, psychological symptoms, risks of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease, as well as management strategies such as calcium and vitamin D requirements and basic comprehension of hormone therapy. These findings are consistent with the literature, which suggests that structured education can enhance health literacy, knowledge, and self-efficacy. It is concluded that a brief group education program proved effective in improving menopause-related understanding. It is recommended to conduct continuous education, design more rigorous evaluations, and disseminate this intervention model to other communities
