Abstract

This study was designed to extend the Hersey and Blanchard's Situational Leadership Model to test the match of adaptability leadership style to the maturity level of subordinates using the LEAD-Self instrument and Readiness Scale of the Center for Leadership Studies. Maturity level of subordinate was analyzed based on the maturity level of employment (ability) and psychological maturity (willingness) to given work to subordinates. Also, to test compatibility with the leadership style with desired subordinates leadership style using LEAD-Other instrument. Leadership style is a combination of task behavior and behavioral relationships that will produce a directing coaching, participating delegating style. In addition, this study also tested the suitability of the existing organizational culture with the expectation organization culture. Effective matching leadership style and organizational culture is measured by the achievement of individual performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of matching between leadership style with the follower’s readiness level (X1), the leader's perceived leadership style with leader’s desired leadership style (X2), and the existing organizational culture with the expectation’s employees (X3) on the individual performance (Y1). The object of research was conducted at PT. Abstract

Food security is the condition of fulfilling individual food that is sufficient, safe, equitable and affordable. The main target of fulfilling food sufficiency is dominated by rice self-sufficiency. Rice self-sufficiency is important because it has special reasons in terms of politics and social economy. The sustainability of rice self-sufficiency faces many challenges because domestic rice supply growth is not as fast as rice use. The purpose of this study is to simulate the scenario of achieving self-sufficiency in rice and formulating policy recommendations for developing management to achieve self-sufficiency in rice. Research data includes primary and secondary data. This research uses a dynamic system approach. Simulations carried out from 2018-2045. The simulated policy is intensification, extensification, suppression of postharvest losses and Indonesia a self-sufficiency country as well as an exporter of rice (scenario five), but the policy requires a very large budget. Scenario six, a combination of intensification, suppression of postharvest losses and land conversion becomes an alternative operational policy and is most likely to be applied. Land conversion is the biggest determinant in rice self-sufficiency. Recommendations address for the government include: (1) establish and protect longterm rice fields, (2) identify and map of areas that have the potential for the development of a periodic expansion of food crops; (3) guarantee the availability of agricultural facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the selected policy, both in the form of the application of scenario six and scenario five. Abstract

In Indonesia, many intermediaries of agricultural products are emerging as modern actors called business aggregators who utilize information from the internet or online technologies in their business activities. This study aims to analyze the activities and roles of online aggregators (based on information technology) in the order of value chains of agricultural products, especially vegetables. Purposive sampling technique was used in selecting 12 online business aggregators of vegetable products. Data were obtained through Focus Group Discussions and in-depth interviews with the business aggregator online owner. Based on the results of the analysis show that the main activities of the aggregator business value chain that are divided into three value chains, namely input provider, processing and marketing providers. Online aggregators become important actors in the agribusiness system in the future. In conventional agribusiness systems, non-online aggregators, whose position is in the subsystem, downstream agribusiness, but in online aggregator at present with the advancement of internet, the aggregator is in the middle/middle, between upstream, cultivation, downstream and supporting institutions subsystems. Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam upaya mewujudkan ketahanan pangan yang utama pada komoditas pangan organik, khususnya sayuran adalah kuantitas dan kualitasnya. Untuk itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah pendeskripsian karakteristik produk sayuran organik, pengidentifikasian faktor internal dan eksternal terkait produksi produk sayuran organik bernilai tambah tinggi berbasis petani, serta penetapan alternatif strategi pengembangan produksi pangan organik bernilai tambah tinggi atas tiga (3) tema utama seperti pasar, produksi sayuran organik dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM).

Abstract

The Sustainability of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy among the firms within Indomobil Group have difference performance from stakeholders view.  PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (PT SIM) have some sector that should be priority to be done like opportunity to work in PT SIM for local community and social disintegration between local community and PT SIM worker.  For PT Nissan Motors Indonesia (PT NMI) and PT Hino Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (PT HMMI) the sector that should be priority are impact of company existence to increasing of prices of goods and services for local community consumption, planting tree activity, increasing amount of small economic and financial institution.  The policy of CSR should be improvement CSR performance with keep increasing of business growth simultaneous.  The management of CSR activity of Indomobil Group have important role to support company performance as good corporate citizenship in area where company operated especially in factory location.  Positioning of company in stakeholders view is basic step to choose the kind of CSR policy.  To get sustainable CSR especially in automotive industry company should do mapping stakeholders needs and expectation that result priority of atributes.   Key words: CSR, sustainability,stakeholders, company

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources and its potential, namely diverse traditions, cultures and culinary products, more than 13,000 islands (more than 6000 are inhabited islands), more than 700 languages and various cultures. These culinary pro-ducts are usually found on the roadside, exhibitions, or available restaurants that provide Indonesian special menus. From the various types in the cities of Jakarta, Bogor and Solo, it can be seen the level of customer satisfaction that consumes culinary food/ drinks in terms of Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy which are the five quality dimensions in products and services. In practice, this can be simplified or the definition of quality and service quality assessed by consumers. This research was conducted to identify and analysis the level of culinary consumer satisfaction from each of the Research Attributes in the cities of Bogor, Jakarta and Solo and to find out the level of satisfaction of food/beverage culinary in the cities of Bogor, Jakarta and Solo. The location of the study was carried out in the cities of Bogor, Jakarta and Solo. This study uses the qualitative Strengths, Weakneses, Oportunities, and Threats SWOT and Crosstab analysis. The sample of the research used purposive sampling and 30 respondents in Bogor, Jakarta and Solo. The results of the research based on the qualitative SWOT analysis found a strategy to developed competitiveness is making diverse culinary products, expanding the product distribution network, utilizing culinary lovers, improving and promoting, conducting strategic location/sales location selected, innovating on product development, increasing Human Resource knowledge, building coordination and cooperation. Based on the analysis Crosstab by Statistical Package for Social Science (SPPS), it was found that there were actually no differences in customers in terms of individual attributes, and on the other hand the average respondent was very fond of culinary in Bogor, Jakarta, and Solo. The result show local culinary as a sub-sector industy have oportunities contribution income in local economic development in culinary tour.

Abstract

This research was aimed to identify the agrotourism potential in Jember Regency, to identify the condition of internal and external environment of Sukorambi Botanic Garden. The research used the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to find out the level of the visitors’ interest and satisfaction. For the internal and external analyses, the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) method, the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) method,  Strength Weakness Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) were used to determine the strategies for marketing Sukorambi Botanic Garden. Three resource persons were used by purposive sampling technique. Thirty respondents were used for analytical level of interest by distributing questionnaires to visitors. The results of the research showed that the priorities of marketing Sukorambi Botanic Garden were 1) the strategy to maximize the concept of recreation while studying  such as crop cultivation and animal farming, 2) the strategy to increase the number of outbound games, 3) the strategy to coordinate intensively with stakeholders for improvement and sustainable development, 4) the strategy to get a loan from  a financial institution to increase capital, 5) the strategy to optimize promotion activities, (6)  the strategy to improve the quality of community services through improved performance and transportation facilities, 7) the strategy to improve the quality of services through trainings for the employees to improve the company’s management system, 8) the strategy to realize facility development on the remainder of the land  accompanied by improvement of existing facilities, and 9) the strategy to optimize online promotion activities.    Keywords: Agrotourism, marketing development strategy, Sukorambi Botanic Garden, AHP, SWOTAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi agrowisata di Kabupaten Jember,  mengidentifikasi kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal Taman Botani Sukorambi dan menentukan prioritas strategi pengembangan pemasaran agrowisata Taman Botani Sukorambi. Abstract

PT XYZ is foreign investment company on food and beverages manufacturer with health benefit positioning. PT XYZ is willing to consistent of safety, quality and productivity (SQP) aspect, therefore should be encouraged by high quality human resources. Employee motivation was stimulated by remuneration program in order to increase employee performance in PT XYZ.  The aim of this study was to analyze remuneration effect towards employee motivation and it’s implication to employee performance at PT XYZ using employee perception. The population of this study is taken from staff level to supervisor level from 10 Departments. The numbers of sample are 132 people. The sampling technique used in the study was stratified with purposive and convenience sampling method with the analytical method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this study shows remuneration has significant effect towards employee motivation and employee performance, while motivation has insignificant effect towards employee performance. SEM results show each highest coefficient are wages based on needs indicator at remuneration variable, individual development indicator at variable motivation and obedience indicator at employee performance variable. Management of PT XYZ should be maintaining components of remuneration, motivation and employee performance that’s already had good score and also pay attention to component of remuneration which has low score index to enhance employee motivation and also employee performance.Keywords: employee motivation, employee performance, remuneration, SEM

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the factors influencing the behavior of management information system users at the National Accreditation Committee. The theory used was based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory extension, and the analytical method used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The factors were according to Davis's modified theory, where external factors were the quality of internet connection and leadership support. Internal factors included perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, attitudes toward using, behavioral intention to use, and actual system use. This research was conducted on 128 respondents representing the Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs). This research showed that leadership support had a significant effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Meanwhile, the quality of the internet connection only affected the perceived usefulness. Leadership support, quality of internet connection, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitudes toward using were factors that affected user behavior intention to use. This research's managerial implication is to strengthen the server and increase the leadership's motivation towards the CAB employees by socializing accreditation applications. Abstract

The change in the service system from the general customer category to the BPJS Health participant category resulted in a decrease in the number of visits by general participants and an increase in visits by BPJS Health participants. This research aims to formulate a strategy for the development of the Klinik Pratama YAPIDA, Gunung Putri, Kabupaten Bogor based on an analysis of patient service’s satisfaction. Research data was collected through a service quality questionnaire as developed, which consists of 5 (five) dimensions: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The data analysis technique uses a combination of Servqual analysis approach, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) approach, and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The research’s result shows that based by the use of the combination of the three analytical approaches, there is a linearity in the strategic direction of the Klinik Pratama YAPIDA development to maintain sustainability and increase the grade of the Clinic, which is improving service quality in aspects of 1) Nurse’s responsiveness, 2) responsiveness of the pharmacist, and 3) clinical service officer. Based on this analysis, the managerial implications require the YAPIDA Primary Clinic Management to formulate a service quality development strategy by improving the three service attributes.
