Abstract

Industri perbankan sangat erat kaitannya dengan kepercayaan, dimana pelayanan pelanggan sebagai keberhasilan. Pelanggan merupakan kunci bank untuk bertahan dalam menghadapi persaingan saat ini. Tujuan kajian ini menjelaskan kepuasan pelanggan dipengaruhi oleh produk perbankan dan mutu pelayanan PT BNI KCU Jakarta yang berimplikasi terhadap kinerja perbankan. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, Customer Satisfaction Analysis (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan CSI, tingkat rataan nilai kepuasan, mutu dan pelayanan berada pada tingkat kepuasan, maka berarti pelanggan puas dengan kinerja pelayanan PT BNI KCU Jakarta. Dari IPA, mutu rataan layanan 4,041 menunjukkan mutu pelayanan (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy dan tangible) memuaskan, sementara nilainya 4,3605 maka atribut tersebut penting bagi pelanggan. Koefisien determinasi dari analiais regresi linear berganda (adjusted R square) 0,653 atau kepuasan pelanggan 65,3% dapat dijelaskan oleh produk perbankan dan mutu pelayanan, serta sisanya (34,7%) disebabkan oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

The commercial banks in Indonesia are currently operating in a more dynamic business environment than before. In the modern competitive environment banks create the value generally using the relational capital. Thus, customer loyalty is the most vital component for bank success in a market. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the effect of sales promotion and corporate image on customer loyalty. To achieve this goal, 80 customers of BNI Taplus account holders of PT BNI (Persero) Tbk. Tebet Main Branch Office were surveyed. Multiple linear regressions technique was used to assess the effect of among the variables under investigation. The findings of this study have shown significant relationships effect of among the sales promotion, corporate image and customer loyalty. Customer loyalty can, therefore, be generated through effective sales promotion and high corporate image.

Abstract

Increased industrial development make a positive contribution to the increase in prosperity and welfare of the people and the nation of Indonesia. One of the industrial activity is paving block making business which is the product of a cement building materials that are used as an alternative ground cover or hardening. The objectives of this study were: (1) analyze the quality of block paving based on Indonesian National Standard (SNI); (2) to analyze effectiveness of block paving production cost and (3) to formulate business development strategies for PD Telaga Jaya Blok. This study used primary and secondary data. Analysis were done using internal  external (IE) matrix, analysis strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) and quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). Based on laboratory test results of Bina Marga Department Tangerang, blocks paving, kansteen and uskup of PD. Telaga Jaya Blok were good according to  the defined quality standards in Tangerang regency and SNI 03-0691-1996. Analyzes of profitability ratio standard that the PD Telaga Jaya Blok has profitability ratio of 35,38%.  Based on QSPM, then alternative priorities can be sorted, as follows : (1) increase customer loyalty to the block paving products, (2) maintain and improve product quality (3) maintain product selling price  product and (4) provide training to improve the skills of employees

Abstract

Trade Facilitation Agreement mandates each member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), including Indonesia, to simplify the trade system in order to facilitate trade flows between countries. Inatrade is an information technology-based system that was built by the Ministry of Trade that aims to provide services of export and/or import procedure fastrer and more transparent. In order to determine the effectiveness of Inatrade services, it is necessary to identify the dominant factors, actors, and indicators that influence to the improvement of the service quality. This study aims to determine the conditions of service horticultural products import license, to identify the dominant factors, actors, and indicators which influence services, and to formulate strategies needed to improve the quality of licensing services at the Ministry of Trade. The research used analytical tools of Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE), External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE), SWOT and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the result analiysis it was concluded that the licensing mechanism based integrated information technology and monitoring and evaluation system regularly including aspects of the systems, human resources and legal basis as a best strategy to improve the quality of services.

Abstract

Bisnis restoran adalah usaha komersial yang harus dilandasi rasa keinginan mendapatkan keuntungan tertentu, sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya selalu menghitung untung-ruginya dan pada akhirnya mengharapkan keuntungan. Tujuan penelitian: (1) mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal restoran menu makanan khas makassar, yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan bisnis restoran; (2) menyusun strategi bisnis restoran menu makanan khas Makassar; (3) menganalisis kepuasan konsumen yang sudah menjadi pelanggan restoran dengan menu makanan khas Makassar. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Restoran Khas Makassar Marannu dan Karebosi Kelapa Gading. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Metode Matriks EFE (External Factor Evaluation) dan IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation), Analisis IE (Internal External), SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats), Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Posisi matriks IE menunjukkan posisi strategi pertumbuhan dan stabil, strategi pertumbuhan ini didesain untuk mencapai kondisi pertumbuhan penjualan, pertumbuhan keuntungan dan pertumbuhan aset. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan adalah penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan usaha. Dari analisis SWOT didapatkan strategi pengembangan restoran makanan khas Makassar, yaitu (1) meningkatkan produktivitas, (2) meningkatan pelayanan, (3) meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan pengadaan bahan baku, (4) meningkatkan volume penjualan dengan efektifitas pemasaran, (5) mempertahankan dan menjaga mutu produk yang dihasilkan, (6) meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan, (7) meningkatkan teknologi produksi dan mutu produk, dan (8) memperbaiki mutu Sumber daya manusia (SDM). Hasil skor CSI 0,92 menunjukkan bahwa tingkat indeks kepuasan pelanggan terletak pada 0,81-1,00, berarti pelanggan merasa sangat puas terhadap restoran makanan khas Makassar; dan hasil skor IPA 4,665, yaitu sangat penting bagi konsumen. Secara garis besar terlihat bahwa kinerja pelayanan restoran makanan khas Makassar yang diberikan telah sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan konsumen

Abstract

Small-medium enterprises (SME) is a sectors who get special attention from Indonesia Government to face ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Bandung is a city in West Java with a good growth on SME. But, SME have not awareness on their product legality. So, Bandung Government, make collaboration with State Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade  Industry and Ministry of Justice and Human Rights Bandung City, to make a new programs for protecting SME in Bandung. This purpose of this research were: (1) to know the adoption rate of trademark IPR facilitation programs in Bandung, (2) to analyze the factors can influence SME to take a decision for adopt the fasilitation programs of trademark intellectual property rights (IPR) for SME, and (3) to analyze the effect SME chararacteristic toward adoption rate of trademark IPR facilitation programs in Bandung, and Research was conducted in Bandung, since in June 2015 to April 2016. The results showed adoption rate in IPR trademark facilitating program, that most of SMEs registering IPR trademark were late majority. Around 51.50 percent of respondents registered on September and October 2014. Attribute of innovation are have influenced to take a decision, so give influenced too for adoption rate this program. But communication channel and communicator did not influence rate of adoption. SMEs characteristic did not influence significantly adoption rate  of the program

Abstract

One way to support an attempt to activate reel sectors of national economy is by empowering the roles of micro entrepreneurs. Such empowerment can be employed by providing guidance, direction, and assistance so that fundamental problems slowing down the growth of micro entrepreneur empowerment can be overcome. One of the basic problems generally faced by micro entrepreneurs is the problem of finance or source of financing. The objectives of this study are to find out whether financing or credit provision from the Micro Service Unit (MSU) of ABC to micro entrepreneurs can improve the performance of micro entrepreneurs, and to identify the schemes of credit provision from the MSU of ABC to micro entrepreneurs and their problems in the field. The methods used in this study were direct observation to the field and questionnaires distributed to 40 selected respondents of micro entrepreneurs who have been debtors of the MSU of ABC and of those 40 respondents, 34 were selected, especially those who got the facility to obtain productive credit. The data of the selected respondents were analyzed using SPSS 11.0 program to analyze the correlation and to find out the impact of credit provision on the performance of micro entrepreneurs. The type of data in this study was those of ratio and they were analyzed statistically using pair t-test or t-test with a significant level of 5%. The results of the analysis show that on the significant level of 5%, the average result of Profit Margin (PM) after the credit provision increased significantly compared to that before the credit provision; there was no significant decline in the average Return on Asset (ROA) after the credit provision compated to that before the credit provision; there was a really significant increase on the average of Return on Equity (ROE) after the credit provision compared to that before the credit provision; the average of Asset after the credit provision increased quite significantly compared to that before the credit provision; and the average sales after the credit provison increased significantly compared to that before the credit provision. The results on the study on the schemes of credit provision as reflected on features of credit products of the MSU show that all the features of credit products of the MSU are aflopen in nature (with the maximum credit declining periodically based on the schedule) with the minimum duration of 1 (one) year. The results of the observation on the field show that the financing need of the micro entrepreneurs is transactional in nature or seasonal with the duration of between 1 and 6 months not having been accommodated in the product features of the MSU of ABC, PT. Bank XYZ.

Abstract

This research is done in Microfinance Institute (LKMS) Baitul Mal wat Tanwil (BMT) Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) Sejahtera unit 20 at Mlati subdistrict, Sleman Regency, Special District of Yogyakarta. The aim of this research is (1) identifying basic needs of micro enterprise, (2) identifying how far LKMS BMT towards the development of micro enterprise and (3) defining strategy needed in developing capacity of LKMS BMT and Micro Enterprise. Methods taken in this reseach are collecting data and analysis method. Primary data are taken distributing questionnaire to 100 BMT customers, secondary data are taken from literatures, journals, bulletins, and seminar journals. Quantitative data analysis is done by analyzing the chi square, while the qualitative ones using Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT). From the result of this research it is obtained that BMT is giving chances by giving finance to the customers to make new enterprise. It is detected from the enterprises which are owned by the customers have brief period, that is less than 1 year (36%), 1 - 5 year (32%), over 5 year (32%). It is proved that they are interested to make new business along with the presence of BMT that offers fair and profitable profit sharing. From the aspect of total income before joining the BMT, is gained that their income in common is less than Rp. 200.000 (40%). After joining BMT the income in major raise between Rp. 200.000 - Rp. 2.999.999 (96%). This significant improvement shows that capital given by BMT is effectively used by the customers, and they are able to organized the capital well to make good profit. Here, BMT role as assistant, BMT is guiding and directing, technically and the management of the enterprise. So than the members do not feel that they are fighting by themselves, but together with BMT. From the analysis of internal and external strategic factor total score with IFAS total score = 2,9 and EFAS = 3,2, are gained IE matrix shown the growth condition, then implementation strategy is necessary; increasing capital credits for micro enterprise/industry, costs of customer’s saving such as administrative cost and interest cost should be eliminated, so that the customers are not oppressed by unnecessary cost, minimizing cost in costing process such as administration process, offering unique costing packages that is not offered by other costing package in other finance institution that has interesting profit sharing, choosing location closed to customers characterized by their enterprises, such as market place. There is BMT employee who is taking debitor deposits to the place of each debitor, if necessary. Advertorial is done by putting advertorial page in local paper. Testimony is gained through meeting with customers of the enterprise group. Sales force is necessary because not any customer is able to come, ask, and making transaction in the BMT office.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and traditional market occupies the largest proportion of the industrial sector and plays an important role in economic development, improvement of social welfare and employment in many countries, especially developing countries (including Indonesia). Based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis has found dimensions and the dominant factors that affect real, both as a stimulus (incentive) as well as obstacles in improving business performance from the aspect of profit. Dimensions of the internal corporate environment, particularly organizational resource factors as stimulus organization, increase business performance, while factors on company's external environment dimensions  none of which have real impact on business performance. Based on Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis, it is proposed several business development strategies that will productive if implemented simultaneously. These strategies include maintain market share, market expansion and optimize production capacity/sales (S – O Strategies); improve the professionalism of business management, reduce cost, technical development and work systems development (W – O Strategies); improve competitiveness, technology development and range of products merchandises development (S – T Strategies); human resources development, financial management, and partnership networking development (W – T Strategies).

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of organizational leadership behaviors and environmental turbulence moderator on employee retention. A survey was used to collect data from various publicly listed companies in the Greater Area of Jakarta. The survey measured the perceptions on organizational leadership behaviors and business environmental turbulence. The survey questionnaire on organizational leadership behaviors was from Yukl’s model and the questionnaire on environmental turbulence was from Ansoff’s model. Fifty two questionnaires were collected by using purposive sampling technique. The Moderated Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was used for analyzing the data. The results showed that the Relations Oriented Behaviors was found to have significant positive relationship with the Employee Retention. The Environmental Turbulence significantly moderated the Relations Oriented Behaviors and affected the Employee Retention positively.   Keywords: Organizational Leadership, Environmental Turbulence, Employee Retention
