Abstract

Background: A good understanding of accounting is essential for accounting students, as it impacts their ability to perform as accountants in the professional world. Factors such as emotional intelligence and self-confidence are believed to influence accounting comprehension. This study aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and self-confidence on accounting understanding among accounting students. Aims: This research aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and self-confidence on accounting understanding among accounting students. Methods: This study employs a quantitative approach, using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to accounting students. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression to examine the influence of emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and accounting understanding. Results: The analysis results indicate that both emotional intelligence and self-confidence do not have a significant effect on accounting understanding among students. The significance value in the t-test was greater than 0.05, leading to the rejection of the hypothesis that these variables positively affect accounting understanding. Additionally, simultaneous testing showed no significant influence between both variables and accounting understanding. Conclusion: Based on the results, it can be concluded that emotional intelligence and self-confidence do not have a significant impact on accounting understanding among accounting students. However, other factors not explored in this study may have a larger effect on students' accounting comprehension.

Abstract

This study aims to design a potential Subak Latu farm road design model for Abiansemal Village and analyze the perspective of acceptance and contribution of the Subak Latu farm road as an ecotourism support infrastructure to residents in the Subak Latu neighborhood in Abiansemal Village. This research uses the field development trust method in conducting potential model studies and quantitative surveys to examine the community's perspective from the perspective of benefits, risks, and community acceptance of agricultural roads. The results of this study indicate that the potential of the Jalan Usaha Tani Subak Latu model is a model with a road dimension of 2 m, equipped with supporting facilities for safety lights, guardrails, intersections, and conveniences such as seats, trash bins, and parking lots. . Furthermore, based on the results of the study, it showed that the majority of the community agreed with the construction of Jalan Usaha Tani in terms of the benefits, trust, and high public acceptance, and in terms of the low risk of Jalan Usaha Tani. This research provides a new perspective for stakeholders, related to the potential of the Jalan Usaha Tani model in collaboration with a socio-psychological approach.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi isu strategis dalam penguatan manajemen gudang dan integrasi rantai pasok industri perikanan, khususnya pada koperasi perikanan yang beroperasi dalam ekosistem industri terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana transformasi digital manajemen gudang dijalankan serta bagaimana peran kapabilitas manajerial dalam memediasi pemanfaatan sistem digital pada koperasi perikanan di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen pada satu koperasi perikanan terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pola pemanfaatan sistem digital, yaitu antara penggunaan yang bersifat administratif-simbolik dan pemanfaatan yang bersifat strategis dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan manajerial berbasis data. Transformasi digital manajemen gudang tidak bersifat deterministik, melainkan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kapabilitas manajerial, khususnya kemampuan manajer dalam melakukan sensing, seizing, dan transforming terhadap informasi digital yang tersedia. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan adanya tantangan integrasi ekosistem yang bersumber dari kurangnya sinkronisasi kebijakan dan inisiatif digitalisasi antar pemangku kepentingan. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada penguatan perspektif sosio-teknis dan kapabilitas manajerial dalam kajian transformasi digital pada organisasi kolektif. Secara praktis, temuan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan transformasi digital yang berorientasi pada penguatan kapabilitas manajerial, pengembangan sistem yang sederhana dan interoperabel, serta pembentukan ekosistem pembelajaran kolaboratif bagi koperasi perikanan.

Abstract

Ethnopharmacy is an approach used to explore the traditional use of medicinal plants within communities, which holds potential for the development of modern medicines. Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that continues to pose a global health threat and requires proper management. This study aims to identify the types of plants used by the community for hypertension therapy, their processing methods, and the factors influencing their use. The method applied was observational with a cross-sectional design, conducted through questionnaires and interviews. Plant samples mentioned by the community were collected as herbarium specimens and analyzed for their chemical compound groups. The research conducted in Poka Village revealed 10 types of plants used for managing hypertension, including cat’s whiskers, Phyllanthus niruri, moringa, African leaf, basil, celery, lemongrass, pandan, soursop, and gotu kola. The three most commonly used plants were cat’s whiskers (17.5%), Phyllanthus niruri (15%), and moringa (15%). Information regarding their use was primarily obtained from family traditions (40%). Usage was irregular and typically applied only when necessary, with the most common preparation method being boiling (51%). The main factors influencing the use of herbal therapy included: natural ingredients (22.5%), easy availability (20%), family traditions (15%), fewer side effects (12.5%), and beliefs in their effectiveness and affordability. These findings highlight the need for government-led education and outreach to ensure the safe and optimal use of herbal medicine.
