Abstract

Innovation in education is essential to prepare students for complex and dynamic future challenges. Specifically, in primary schools, the role of teachers in fostering an innovative culture is crucial but often underexplored. Despite existing studies on pedagogical innovation, limited research addresses how teachers in resource-constrained public schools actively drive innovation. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of teachers in cultivating a culture of innovation at SDN Kawengen 01 Ungaran Timur through a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings reveal that teachers serve as educators, facilitators, and motivators, effectively enhancing student creativity and collaborative skills. Results also show the consistent integration of project-based and collaborative learning models, coupled with the use of technology, despite limitations in training and infrastructure. A significant improvement was observed in the classroom’s learning environment, which became more conducive and experimental. The novelty of this study lies in highlighting bottom-up innovation efforts by teachers in public schools without relying heavily on systemic reforms. These findings imply the need for targeted professional development and the formulation of educational policies that support innovative practices in teaching. SDN Kawengen 01 emerges as a potential model for implementing creative and effective instructional strategies in similar educational contexts.Highlights: Highlights teacher-driven innovation in resource-limited settings. Abstract

Pengetahuan literasi keuangan sangat penting diberikan kepada peserta didik sedini mungkin. Namun, strategi dalam mengajarkan literasi keuangan ini masih belum maksimal. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi literasi keuangan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran SIMAKNA (Simulasi Manajemen Keuangan Sederhana). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dan model pengembangan menggunakan 4D. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan yang telah diuji oleh validator ahli materi dan media. Hasil penilaian dari validator ahli materi satu memperoleh skor sebesar 100% dan validator kedua sebesar 96%. Sedangkan penilaian dari validator ahli media pertama ialah 87% dan skor penilaian dari validator kedua sebesar 90%. Kemudian setelah melakukan uji validasi materi dan media terdapat tahapan uji coba kepada peserta didik yang mendapatkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 81,4%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi media pembelajaran SIMAKNA sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran IPS SMP kelas VII. Rekomendasi tindak lanjut yakni dengan melakukan perbaikan media pembelajaran, modul ajar dan melakukan penelitian eksperimen kelas guna menguji efektivitas dari produk media pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the “Prop Hunt – QR Coin” learning media to enhance student participation in Social Studies (IPS) learning. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Design Thinking model, the media integrates gamification and QR Code technology. Conducted in class 8F Tahfidz at SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang in 2025, the results showed an increase in student participation from an average score of 40 to 82, with 88% of students meeting the completion criteria. The media effectively motivated students and facilitated interactive learning. Recommendations for future research include expanding implementation to other subjects and incorporating digital literacy training.

Abstract

The low motivation of students to learn in social studies subjects shows that the learning model applied is not fully in accordance with the learning needs of students. Learning motivation is one of the important factors that greatly influence the success of the learning process. Therefore, this research aims to develop a learning model that is able to increase student learning motivation through a learner-centered approach. This type of research is a development research (Research and Development) using the Design Thinking model, which consists of five main stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, diagnostic tests, and Likert scale questionnaires. While data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The product developed is a Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on multilevel games, namely Sambung Kata, Tebak Gaya, and Family Hundred. This model was validated by experts and tested on students of class VIIF SMP Laboratorium UM. The results showed that this model is valid, very practical, and effective in increasing student learning motivation. The increase in student motivation is characterized by an increased awareness to participate in learning, the desire to achieve high grades, complete assignments on time, and high enthusiasm in participating in learning activities without feeling bored. Thus, this multilevel games-based TGT model can be an innovative alternative to increase student learning motivation in social studies subjects

Abstract

This article proposes an innovative approach by combining gamification, role-playing, and puppet media to increase student engagement in group discussions in social studies learning. The Design Thinking method used shows a systematic framework for designing and developing effective learning media. However, this article could have made clearer the challenges faced during implementation and how to overcome them. Although the pilot test results showed significant improvement, the article could have further analyzed the impact of this method on students' understanding of the material. Overall, this article makes a good contribution to the development of learning strategies that are interactive and relevant to the needs of today's students.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to enhance students' motivation in learning Social Studies (IPS) through the implementation of a virtual gallery walk learning model using Spatial.io. Spatial.io was selected because it offers an immersive 3D learning environment that supports interactive learning experiences. This research adopts a design thinking approach, consisting of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The subjects of the study were 8th-grade students from class 8A at SMP Laboratorium UM Malang. The developed product demonstrated that the application of a virtual gallery walk using Spatial.io effectively increased students' learning motivation, as evidenced by higher levels of active participation, enthusiasm, and positive feedback throughout the learning process.

Abstract

Ethnocentric behavior among employees is observed in multicultural work environments characterized by the presence of individuals from different origins. The presence of ethnocentrism in the workplace has been observed to have an impact on coworkers. However, despite the importance of the above-mentioned factors, there has been no relevant scientific study on how these aspects affect human resource localization. This study investigates the influence of ethnocentric behavior and localization success on cultural intelligence through the mediating role of knowledge sharing tendency in the context of digital marketing. Although prior research has examined ethnocentrism in consumer behavior and policy, there is limited understanding of how individual-level ethnocentric tendencies affect human resource localization and intercultural competence in multinational work environments. Addressing this gap, the study surveyed 107 employees in multinational companies in Indonesia using a non-probability snowball sampling method. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The findings show that ethnocentric behavior and localization success positively influence both knowledge sharing tendency and cultural intelligence. However, knowledge sharing tendency does not significantly mediate the relationship between either ethnocentric behavior or localization success and cultural intelligence. These results highlight the importance of direct cross-cultural dynamics in enhancing cultural intelligence. The study contributes to the theoretical development of international HR management and cultural adaptation models while offering practical implications for designing training programs and policies that enhance knowledge transfer and cultural intelligence in global digital marketing environments.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru di SMP Negeri 22 Malang adalah keterbatasan dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi hasil belajar yang mampu mengukur kemampuan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik secara mendalam. Instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan umumnya masih terbatas pada soal pilihan ganda berbasis hafalan, sehingga belum sepenuhnya mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah sesuai tuntutan abad ke-21. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi berbasis literasi dan numerasi melalui elaborasi Taksonomi Bloom, Marzano, dan SOLO. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memperkuat pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang instrumen evaluasi yang valid, reliabel, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan service learning yang meliputi survei kebutuhan mitra, penyusunan materi, pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, yang ditunjukkan melalui penilaian sangat baik pada seluruh indikator evaluasi. Kegiatan praktik juga membantu guru mengaplikasikan teori secara langsung, sehingga mereka lebih siap untuk mengimplementasikan instrumen evaluasi tersebut di kelas. Dengan demikian, program ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi yang mendukung literasi, numerasi, dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi

Abstract

MSMEs in Kaliyoso Village, Kangkung Subdistrict, Kendal Regency face obstacles in digital marketing and product legality. Many businesses do not have the skills to use e-commerce platforms and do not have PIRT, making it difficult to expand the market. This service program aims to increase the capacity of MSMEs through training in creating online stores on Shopee and technical assistance for PIRT registration. Activities are carried out with a participatory approach through the stages of socialization, technical training, and assistance to MSME actors. The training focused on hands-on practice of using Shopee and PIRT registration procedures according to the provisions of the Health Office. The results of the activities showed an increase in participants' skills in marketing products digitally and a better understanding of the importance of product legality. This program not only encourages the independence of MSME players in developing their businesses, but also triggers the formation of a digital MSME community as an effort to sustain local economic empowerment.

Abstract

Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat (KPM) adalah wujud dari pada Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dalam bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat, KPM adalah suatu bentuk pendidikan dengan cara memberikan pengalaman belajar kepada mahasiswa untuk hidup di tengah-tengah masyarakat, yang secara langsung dapat mengidentifikasi dan menangani permasalahan di dalam masyarakat serta sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan bobot pendidikan bagi mahasiswa. Artikel ini membahas partisipasi dan dampak terhadap masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu di dalam kegiatan pelatihan UMKM dan peningkatan kreatifitas dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam sekitar. Kegiatan ini dapat terus dikembangkan untuk terus mendorong barbarslot beragam kreatifitas ibu-ibu yang berdampak terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.
