Abstract

This research discusses the method of determining gravitational acceleration through the concept of free fall motion. Using a theoretical approach, this research explains the basic principles of free fall motion proposed by Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton. Through measuring the time of a free object falling from a certain height. Data analysis describes the relationship between fall time and distance, providing results that accurately approximate the value of Earth's gravitational acceleration. The conclusion of this article contributes to the understanding of basic physics concepts, as well as providing a practical method for determining gravitational acceleration using the principles of free fall motion.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to introduce students to the basic concepts of sound and light during science learning. This abstract discusses the properties of sound, such as its source, propagation, and how the human ear receives sound. Apart from that, this abstract also discusses light as an energy source that allows us to see objects around us, including how the eye propagates and receives light. Once students understand these concepts, it is hoped that they will be able to understand between sound and light.Sound waves can modulate the amplitude and phase of light, bending it, focusing it, or shifting its frequency. Light can create visible acoustic images or provide detailed information about thermal vibrations in solids and liquids. Diffraction of light waves by sound waves takes several different forms, depending on the two wavelengths and the dimensions of the interaction region. Abstract

This research aims to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students in Physics lessons using the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model in class 4 of SD Negeri Tamansari 2 with a total of 24 students. Data was collected using the observation method and a final test in the form of testing Quantity and Unit questions which had been tested for validity, and the level of difficulty using descriptive techniques through percentages and student learning outcomes by calculating the average score and learning completion both individual and classical. The results of data analysis showed that there was an increase in the percentage of student activity in cycle 1 from 65% (quite active) to 85% (very active) in cycle 2. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of students who achieved completeness increased from cycle 1 by 55%, in cycle 2 by 55%. 88% and student response to the implementation of the TGT type cooperative learning model was 85% (very positive). This research concludes that the use of the cooperative learning model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of grade 4 students at Tamansari 2 State Elementary School

Abstract

Corn husks and wildflower waste can be used as a basic ingredient in making handicrafts if processed properly. This service activity aims to provide craft-making skills as a means of increasing student independence and creativity. The implementation methods used are input, production process, output, and evaluation. The results of this program are input, conducting market surveys to determine market conditions regarding the feasibility and shortcomings of the products produced. Next is selecting materials and providing a place, facilities, and infrastructure to support the production process. Process (production), is the process of making handicrafts starting from preparing materials and tools until they are ready to be marketed. Output, namely handicraft products that are ready to be marketed to consumers. Lastly, evaluation, at this stage, is carried out when product production has been completed by reviewing consumer responses to the product. So the PKM-K program for making handicraft dried flower bouquets from waste corn husks and wildflowers can provide students with skills so that they can process flannel cloth and turn it into an entrepreneurial idea.

Abstract

Bamboo shoots are young shoots or saplings that grow from bamboo roots. Bamboo shoots are also known as young bamboo. Bamboo shoots include vegetables that are liked by many people. Bamboo shoot production in Indonesia is also very abundant. The purpose of this activity is to increase the creativity of PGSD students as an effort to form an entrepreneurial spirit by making bamboo shoot chips. This service utilizes bamboo shoots into processed food ingredients that are rich in water, fiber, potassium, protein, fat and carbohydrates in the form of bamboo shoot chips. This activity trains students to make observations, environmental research, and also market research to find out about the availability of raw materials and analyze market share. This activity also trains students to carry out the pre-production, production, packaging, online and offline marketing stages as well as evaluation of the products produced. The result of this activity is the growth of an entrepreneurial spirit in PGSD students by making works in the form of bamboo shoot chips. Student creativity is reflected in the many flavors as an innovation to make bamboo shoot chips more attractive. The flavors that were innovated by PGSD students were balado, cheese, roasted corn, extra spicy and original.

Abstract

Vertical downward motion is a phenomenon in physics that occurs when an object falls freely under the influence of gravity without any external force affecting it. In this article, we will look at how vertical downward motion can be observed through the use of skydiving toys. Parachuting toys are used as a safe simulation to observe vertical downward motion. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach explains in detail the subject of vertical downward movement through parachuting. The purpose of this article is to introduce an example of vertical downward motion for elementary school children. With this article in order to introduce and invite children to play and know that what is played is an example of vertical downward motion. These toys are often designed with designs and materials that allow the opening or slowing of the fall speed. This ensures that skydiving toys are safer for children to play with. Through observing skydiving toys, we can understand the basic concepts of vertical downward motion and its characteristics such as constant acceleration, terminal velocity, and the design and material factors that affect it. In conclusion, this article shows the importance of vertical downward motion in physics and how skydiving toys can be used to observe this phenomenon.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to determine the misconceptions or misunderstandings that occur in class IV students in understanding plant material through the application of a two-tier diagnostic test. The research used descriptive quantitative with a case study approach, involving fourth grade students at Kasongan Elementary School as research subjects. Data collection was carried out through diagnostic tests, observations and interviews. The research results revealed that the concept of photosynthesis experienced the highest misconception with a percentage of 60%, followed by plant parts at 54.55% and plant reproduction at 50.91%. The main factors causing misconceptions are the use of less varied teaching materials and a lack of innovation in learning. These findings emphasize the importance of routinely using diagnostic evaluation tools to detect students' conceptual misunderstandings.
