Abstract

Science learning in elementary school means that students can understand concepts. However, some students find it difficult to understand the concept of science learning. One of the causes of students' inability to understand concepts is when students experience misconceptions. The presentation of misconceptions on the topic "Parts of plants" in class IV A was 57.7% of 26 students and in Class IV B 55.6% of 18 students. The results from both classes are included in the percentage in the "Medium" category. Then in the Topic "Photosynthesis" IV A 61.5% of 26 students and Class IV B 61.1% of 18 students. The percentage results show that both classes are in the "High" category. Then on the topic "Plant reproduction" 53.8% of 26 students were in the "Medium" category and Class IV B 66.7% of 18 students were in the "High" category. And the following are the misconception factors among class IV students at Sonosewu Elementary School, namely 1). Preconceptions at the beginning of learning, 2). Differences between students in receiving the material that the teacher has conveyed, 3). Lack of direct practice during learning.

Abstract

Literasi sains sebagai suatu kecakapan penting pada pendidikan abad 21 diperlukan peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan pemikiran kritis serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam konteks kehidupan. Namun, kemampuan ini belum sepenuhnya dapat terlaksana dengan baik akibat sejumlah faktor seperti kurangnya minat siswa terhadap literasi, kesulitan memahami konsep pembelajaran, dan kurangnya strategi pembelajaran yang tepat khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan literasi sains dapat ditunjang dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Metode ini menyajikan kemampuan memahami konsep-konsep pembelajaran peneyelesaian permasalahan dan pengembangan pemikiran yang dilakukan bersama anggota kelompok dalam bentuk sebuah permainan antar tim. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji keefektifan model kooperatif jenis Team Game Tournament terhadap kemampuan literasi sains di sekolah dasar khususnya muatan pelajaran IPAS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menggunakan data sekunder sebagai bahan kajian. Sumber kajian penelitian yang digunakan adalah rentang waktu lima tahun terakhir. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan membaca, menganalisis isi bacaan, mencatat, menyintesis, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan mengkaji sembilan sumber literatur dengan mengaitkan kata kunci sebagai dasar pencarian. Penerapan metode Team Game Tournament memiliki pengaruh efektif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi sains pembelajaran IPAS karena pada setiap sintaksnya memiliki aspek yang melibatkan indikator literasi sains IPAS. Indikator tersebut meliputi konten, konteks, dan proses sains. Kata kunci: Literasi sains; Model kooperatif; Team Game Tournament; IPAS

Abstract

This study aims to improve the speaking skills of third grade students of a primary school in Central Java, Indonesia using fairy tales as media. Based on the results of observations, it was found that the increase in speaking skills in the third-grade Indonesian material in a primary school in Central Java, Indonesia  was relatively low. This is indicated by the achievement of student assessment results that have not been completed or have not reached the KKM (Maximum Completeness Criteria) which is 78. The percentage of speaking skill scores of 13 students, 6 students (46%) who completed or passed the KKM while 7 students (54%) did not complete or pass the KKM. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research is the result of the development of action research. Action research itself was developed with the aim of finding solutions to problems in the classroom. The result of this research showed that prior to the implementation only six students (46%) completed the KKM. In the first cycle it increased to eight students (69%). Then there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II resulting to eleven students (84%) who completed the KKM. Therefore, it can be concluded that storytelling media in Indonesian language learning is able to improve the speaking skills of third grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the correlation between PGSD students' perception (X) of self-efficacy (Y1) and understanding of science (Y2). The problem with this study arises because it is not clear whether students' perception of science learning has an effect on their self-efficacy and conceptual understanding, even though their average comprehension score is quite good (Mean = 71.19). This study uses a correlational quantitative approach involving 21 PGSD UPY students. Perceptions were measured using a questionnaire that had been tested for reliability (α = 0.712), Self-efficacy is measured with its own instruments (α = 0.740), meanwhile, scientific understanding is measured through tests validated through the validity of the content by experts. Data normality test (Shapiro-Wilk, p > 0.05) indicates the data is normally distributed, so Pearson correlation analysis is used. The results showed a significant positive correlation between perception and self-efficacy (r = 0.827; p < 0.01), however, no significant relationship was found between perception and understanding of science (0.297), and between self-efficacy and understanding of science (0.220). These findings indicate that students' positive perceptions are related to self-efficacy, but do not directly affect the conceptual understanding of science.

Abstract

This study aims to develop content-differentiated science student worksheets for students of the elementary school teacher education study program, especially on the subject of the human respiratory system, and analyze its effect on student collaboration skills. This research method used research and development with the 4D model (define, design, development, and dissemination). The sample in this study was 142 2nd semester students of elementary school teacher education study program at PGRI University Yogyakarta. The data was taken through student worksheets documentation, score lists, interviews, observations, validation assessment scales, and student collaboration skills questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research results, the student worksheets products that have been developed meet the validity criteria with an overall average of 97% in the very valid category. The validity and reliability results of the student collaboration skills questionnaire for the student worksheets developed have met the valid and reliable criteria. The results of the student collaboration skills trial given to 142 students on the developed student worksheets were the order of the number of students who always carried out collaboration skills starting from the responsible aspect (79%), the respect aspect (77%), the productive work aspect (71 %), aspects show flexibility (71%), and aspects contribute actively (38%). Meanwhile, the average number of students is 22% of students at a good level in collaborating and 78% of students are very good at collaborating.

Abstract

Sanden subdistrict is one of the subdistricts in Bantul Regency. Based on the preliminary study that has been conducted, the participation coverage of husbands as MOP contraceptive accepters in the District is low. Family Planning (FPA) is one of the important programs in efforts to control population growth as well as improve the well-being of families and communities. Among available contraceptive methods, MOP has been a popular choice for men who have decided to terminate their reproductive ability. MOP is a minor surgical procedure that stops the flow of sperm from the testicles to the male reproductive tract. Although this procedure is considered an effective method of birth control, there are still many factors influencing the acceptance rate and use of MOP in various communities. This dedication to the community aims to to apply Health promotion its links in an attempt to increase husbands’ participation as MOP accepters through social support factors, attitudes, and husbands’ intentions that influence a husband’s decision to accept MOP as a contraceptive method. The implementation of this activity was carried out in three stages namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The external result of this devotion is in the form of publication articles resulting from devotion to the public. This activity was followed by 15 participants. Based on the results of the pretest it was obtained that the average pretest score of the participants was 68 whereas after conducting the material administration and baby massage demonstration, the posttest score on the participants increased to 82.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPA dengan menggunakan ModelPembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Ampih KebumenJenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan menggunakan desainpenelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggrat yang terdiri dari: perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting),observasi (observing), refleksi (reflecting). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yangberjumlah 20 siswa dan objek dari penelitian ini adalah “penerapan model pembelajaraan team gamestournament (TGT) untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPA”. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam duasiklus dengan siklus I terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Instrumenpenelitian meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes pemahaman konsep, catatanlapangan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Analisis data kualitatif terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisisdata kuantitatif menggunakan model rata-rata dan persentase.Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan modelpembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelasIV SD Negeri Ampih Kebumen. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan : (1) rata-rata persentase hasil ulanganharian 62,52 dengan kriteria cukup dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 69 dengankriteria cukup. Dan meningkat lagi menjadi 86 pada siklus II dengan kriteria sangat baik dan sudahmemenuhi indikator pencapaian dari penelitian ini sehingga peneletian dinyatakan berhasil. (2) hasilobservasi kegiatan guru pada siklus I sebesar 85% dengan kriteria sanagat baik menjadi 100% padasiklus II dengan kriteria sangat baik dan kegiatan siswa sebesar 82.5% dengan kriteria sangat baikmenjadi 95% pada siklus II dengan kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model inkuiri terhadap remediasi miskonsepsiIPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Terong Dlingo Bantul. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Terong, Dlingo,Bantul pada tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam eksperimen semu (quasiexperiment). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian one group pretest-posttest design, denganmengambil sampel penelitian satu kelas yaitu siswa kelas IV sebanyak 21 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupates untuk pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik komparasional yang dilanjutkandengan Uji t dengan jenis uji beda dua mean data berpasangan pada taraf signifikansi 𝛼 = 0,05. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata sebelum diberikan perlakuandan setelah perlakuan. Dari analisis data diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest 65,12, sedangkan nilai ratarataposttest 80,24, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap remediasimiskonsepsi IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Terong, Dlingo, Bantul.

Abstract

Di bumi ini terdapat banyak sekali sumber daya alam di antara nya batuan dan tanah. Batuan adalah material padat yang terdiri dari satu atau beberapa mineral dan terbentuk secra alami. Batuan adalah kombinasi alami dari , sifat batuan akan berubah sesuai dengan komposisi mineralnya. Tanah adalah lapisan permukaan yang terbentuk oleh bahan-bahan yang telah mengalami proses lanjutan sebagai akibat perubahan alam yang disebabkan oleh udara, dan alam, benda hidup/mati. Tanah merupakan bagian penting dalam suatu konstruksi yang mempunyai fungsi menyangga konstruksi di atasnya. Bahan penyusun tanah berupa himpunan mineral, bahan organik, dan endapan-endapan yang relative lepas yang terletak di atas batuan dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ilmu geologi tentang bumi dan fenomena mengenai macam-macam jenis batuan dan tanah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data yang fakta sesuai pada objek sesuai dengan tujuan tertentu, dan menggunakan metode kepustakaan yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data atau karya tulis ilmiah yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah berdasarkan bahan-bahan Pustaka yang relevan.
