The aims of this study are to explore the effect of Reading-Concept Map- Student Team Achievement Division (Remap-STAD) towards cognitive learning outcomes on highschool students. This research is done in senior high school 1 Batu City, with participants as many as 70 students. This research used Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data cognitive learning outcomes obtained from essay tests amounted to 10 questions that refer to the revised Bloom's taxonomy. The test results were then analyzed with Anacova. The results of this experiment showed that Remap-STAD can enhance cognitive learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Reading-Concept Map-Student Team Achievement Division (Remap-STAD) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Batu, dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 70 siswa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari pemberian tes esai berjumlah 10 soal yang mengacu pada taksonomi Bloom yang sudah direvisi. Hasil tes selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik Anacova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Remap-STAD berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

The forest of Tahura R. Soerjo is region that have high diversity. Data of diversity can use for learning resource. The result of diversity research arranged to lesson matter in learning. The research aimed to identify the lichen especially family Lobariaceae and Phusciaceae at Tahura R. Soerjo. The location of research are Cangar, Watu Ondo, Coban Teyeng, and Lemahbang. The method used is cruise method and survey. The research conducted February until October 2016. The identification result found 8 species including family Physciaceae and 4 species including family Lobariaceae. Data and information related to the description of the characteristics of this species is conceived and designed in the learning materials in learning by student of biology department.Tahura R. Soerjo merupakan kawasan dengan keanekaragaman tinggi. Data keanekaragaman dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar. Hasil penelitian keanekaragaman disusun dalam bentuk bahan ajar yang dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi lichen khususnya familia Lobariaceae dan Physciaceae di Tahura R. Soerjo. Lokasi penelitian meliputi Cangar, Watu Ondo, Coban Teyeng, dan Lemahbang. Metode penelitian yaitu jelajah bebas dan survei. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Oktober 2016. Hasil identifikasi ditemukan 8 spesies dari familia Physciaceae dan 4 spesies dari familia Lobariaceae. Data serta informasi terkait deskripsi karakteristik spesies disusun dalam bentuk bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran oleh mahasiswa jurusan Biologi.

Abstract: Scientific literacy is a skill that is very important and must be possessed by students. A person with good scientific literacy will be able to survive in the XXI century. In the learning process students are weak in interpreting information so that students have difficulty or cannot make conclusions. Scientific literacy by using initial ability moderator variables in the high category and low category and their interactions in fifth grade students of SD Tanjung Rejo 2 Malang. The results of the pretest and posttest were tested differently with the help of SPSS. The results showed there were significant differences in the increase in scientific literacy.Abstrak: Literasi sains adalah keterampilan yang sangat penting dan harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Seseorang dengan literasi sains yang baik akan mampu bertahan di abad XXI. Pada proses pembelajaran, siswa dianggap lemah dalam mengintepretasikan informasi sehingga siswa kesulitan atau tidak dapat membuat kesimpulan. Variabel moderator kemampuan awal pada kategori tinggi dan kategori rendah serta interaksinya pada siswa kelas V SD Tanjung Rejo 2 Malang. Hasil pretes dan postes dilakukan uji beda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan-perbedaan signifikan peningkatan literasi sains.

Metacognitive skills to help students become self regulated learner and to understand concept better, but not many empowered learning. Metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students expected to be empowered in learning with Reading Concept Map-Reciprocal Teaching (Remap RT). The purpose of this research is to empower metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes by implementing Remap RT. This type of research is a quasy experiments on 60 students in SMAN 2 Batu. Metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes were measured by using essay test and then analysed by metacognitive skills measurement that develop by Corebima (2009). The results showed that Remap RT potentially increases the metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students compared to the conventional strategy.Keterampilan metakognitif dapat membantu siswa menjadi pebelajar mandiri dan mampu memahami konsep lebih baik, namun belum banyak diberdayakan dalam pembelajaran. Keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa diharapkan dapat diberdayakan dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya dengan model Reading Concept Map-Reciprocal Teaching (Remap RT). Tujuan penelitian adalah memberdayakan keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan menerapkan Remap RT. Jenis penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen pada 60 siswa di SMAN 2 Batu. Keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif diukur menggunakan tes essay, yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan rubrik metakognitif yang dikembangkan oleh Corebima (2009). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Remap RT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa lebih tinggi dibandingkan strategi konvensional.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the RICOSRE learning model on analytical thinking skills of Class X students of SMAN 1 and SMAN 7 Malang. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The sample used was grade X students in each of the three classes in each school. Data collected in the form of pretest and posttest scores. Data analysis with anacova technique continued with LSD test. The results are known that the RICOSRE learning model significantly influences analytical thinking with an average increase of 59.58%.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran RICOSRE terhadap keterampilan berpikir analitis pada siswa kelas X SMAN 1 dan SMAN 7 Malang. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X pada masing-masing tiga kelas di setiap sekolah. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa skor pretest dan skor posttest. Analisis data dengan teknik anakova dilanjutkan uji LSD. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa pembelajaran RICOSRE berpengaruh pada keterampilan berpikir analitis dengan rerata peningkatan sebesar 59,58%.

The participant for the study consisted of 54 students from the Senior High School 1, Batu City. This research used Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Cognitive learning outcome obtained from the essay test. The test results were then analyzed with Anacova. The results of this experiment showed that Remap-TPS can enhance cognitive learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Reading-Concept Map-Think Pair Share (Remap-TPS) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Batu dengan jumlah partistipan sebanyak 54 siswa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari hasil tes essay, dan hasilnya dianalisis dengan teknik Anacova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Remap-TPS berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the influence of learning model RICOSRE (Reading, Identifying Problem, Constructing Solution, Solving Problem, Reviewing Problem Solving, and Extending Problem Solving) toward XIth grade students’ Biology cognitive learning outcomes in SMAN 4 and SMAN 10 Malang. This research type is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The sample used is the students in two classes each schools. Data collected in the form of pretest score and postes score. Data analysis using ancova technique and continued with LSD test that showed RICOSRE learning model significantly influenced the XIth grade students' learning outcomes with a corrected average of cognitive learning outcomes achievement is 26.9%.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RICOSRE (Reading, Identfying problem, Constructing Solution, Solving Problem, Reviewing Problem Solving, and Extending Problem Solving) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif Biologi siswa kelas XI di SMAN 4 dan SMAN 10 Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain non-equivalent pretest posttest control group. Sampel yang digunakan ialah siswa pada masing-masing dua kelas di setiap sekolah. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa skor pretes dan skor postes. Analisis data menggunakan teknik anakova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut LSD yang menunjukkan hasil model pembelajaran RICOSRE berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI dengan peningkatan rerata terkoreksi hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 26,9%.

Education has done for foster and develop the potential of learners. An adequate learning resources as a means to produce a good potentiality. Students who take course of Ethnobotany said there is no information resources yet about Ethnobotany. Development of teaching materials expected to be the solution. The type of research is development research. Based on Ethnobotanical studies 65 species from 34 families has found that used for medicines, toxins, beauty, ceremonies, food and shelter. The study was developed into an ethnobotanical textbook which have been validated and feasible to implement.Pendidikan dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan potensi peserta didik. Sumber belajar yang memadai menjadi media dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berpotensi. Mahasiswa Etnobotani menyatakan belum ada informasi berupa buku atau artikel Etnobotani. Pengembangan bahan ajar diharapkan menjadi solusi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan. Ditemukan 65 spesies dari 34 suku yang digunakan oleh masyarakat desa Trunyan untuk menunjang kehidupan untuk obat, racun, kecantikan, keagamaan, pangan dan papan. Proses pemanfaatan dilakukan secara tradisional. Hasil studi dikembangkan menjadi buku ajar Etnobotani yang telah divalidasi dan layak untuk diimplementasikan.

The objective of this research was to know the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) to the attitude and student cognitive achievement in SMAN 2 Malang. This research applied quasy experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The populations of this research is all student of class X SMAN 2 Malang on academic year 2008/2009. The samples of this research were class X7 as experimental (PjBL) and class X8 as control (conventional). The instrument of this research namely cognitive achievement test and attitude scale questionnaire to river ecosystem. This research data are quantitative data consisted by score cognitive achievement and attitude scale questionnaire to river ecosystem, collected on 14 Maret until 31 May 2009. Data were analysed by bilinear covariant statistical analysis (Ancova), continued with LSD test. The result of this research indicated that there were PjBL toward the cognitive achievement and student attitude to river ecosystem. Students with PjBl having attitude higher 11,65% from conventional students. Beside, students with PjBl having cognitive achievement higher 81,05% from conventional students. Based on this research, the researcher suggest to the teacher that this strategy can be implemented in biology learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Learning Cycle 5E dipadu teknik Mind Mapping dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN I Malang yang dipilih secara purposive random sampling. Pengukuran data melalui lembar tes keterampilanproses sains yang dianalisis menggunakan statistik parametrik uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dipadu teknik Mind Mapping efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP
