Abstract

Navigation is one of the crucial aspects of automation technology within the field of agriculture, such as robotics systems or autonomous agricultural vehicles. Despite many navigation systems having been developed for agricultural land, due to their high development and component costs, these systems are difficult to access for farmers or organizations with limited capital. In this study, the Canny-edge detection and Hough transform methods are implemented in a path detection system on agricultural land to find an alternative, cost-effective navigation system for autonomous farming robots or vehicles. The system is tested on ground-level view images, which are captured from a low perspective and under three different lighting conditions. The testing and experimentation process involves adjusting the parameters of the Canny-edge detection and Hough transform methods for different lighting conditions. Subsequently, an evaluation is conducted using Intersection over Union to obtain the best accuracy results, followed by fine-tuning of the canny-edge detection and Hough transform method parameters. The identified parameters, specifically a 15×15 Gaussian kernel, low threshold of 50, high threshold of 150, Hough threshold, minimum line length of 150, and maximum line gap, have been discerned as optimal for the canny-edge and Hough transform algorithms under medium lighting conditions (G=1.0). The observed efficacy of these parameter configurations suggests the method’s viability for implementation in path detection systems for agricultural vehicles or robots. This underscores its potential to deliver reliable performance and navigate seamlessly across diverse lighting scenarios within the agricultural context.

Abstract

This article analyzes how Islamic religious education transforms the character of young people in Kampung Nyantong, Sukaratu, Tasikmalaya into having a religious character. This research method is conducted in a qualitative and descriptive manner with an interview and field observation approach. This article reviews the role of Islamic religious education in transforming young people of Nyantong village into young people who have a religious character and can contribute to various religious social activities in the village such as being a priest of sholat, Friday prayer Khatib, caretaker of bodies, as well as participating in promoting Islamic values in the sphere of the village.

Abstract

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) is a conservation area in East Java with an abundance of biodiversity, including macrofungi. This study aims to identify the macrofungal species existing in Poncokusumo district, TNBTS area, and their habitat characteristics for a further sustainable study of fungi. This study used a purposive sampling method by opportunistic exploration. Identification of macrofungi is conducted by morphological analysis and habitat characterization. The study identified 15 macrofungal species categorized as Ascomycota and Basidiomycota, that were distinct in their habitat characteristics. The 15 macrofungal species inhabited leaf litter, wood litter, soil, and bamboo.

Abstract

Reading, which involves character decoding, is a complex cognitive process with the goal of understanding the text. Reading in English gives students the opportunity to pursue interest and knowledge in learning English. Reading is a way to teach other speaking skills. Most students are quiet during lessons because they find learning boring. Therefore, teachers need media that makes the learning process more interesting. The purposeiof this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Interactive Digital English Book (IDEB) in improving students' reading skills. This study was conducted on 42 MA Masalikil Huda Jepara tenth-grade students who were divided into two classes. This research is a quantitative type of researchiusing quasi-experimental prei- test and posti- test research methods. The dataithat came from the research were gathered using tests in the form of multiple-choice tests for the students. The average score for the experimental group that has been calculated is 74.5 points and that of the control group was 55.7 points. T-Analysis Results: Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.07, greater than 0.05, besides that the T-test is greater than the T-tablei(2.201 > 2.021). As a result, the use of English Digital Textbooks has been found to be effective in improving students' reading skills.

Abstract

Kajian sistematik kelelawar pemakan buah (Chiroptera: Pteropodidae) masih menjadi perdebatan. Penelitian filogenetik dan kariotipe menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian data DNA dan data kromosom dengan batas karakter morfologi, termasuk pada spesies Pteropodidae di Pulau Jawa. Selain itu, penelitian mengenai filogenetik dan kariotipe kelelawar Pteropodidae di Pulau Jawa belum banyak dieksplorasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan kajian sistematik kelelawar Pteropodidae di Pulau Jawa berdasarkan studi filogenetik dan kariotipe secara komprehesif. Studi ini menggunakan penelusuran literatur lengkap mengenai sejarah sistematik Pteropodidae dan taksonomi berdasarkan studi filogenetik serta kariotipe Pteropodidae di Pulau Jawa. Secara filogenetik, masih terjadi permasalahan sistematik pada tingkat genus. Selain itu, berdasarkan data kariotipe spesies Pteropodidae di Pulau Jawa menunjukkan jumlah diploid kromosom seragam, namun memiliki bentuk kromosom yang berbeda. Kajian ini dapat digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai sistematik Pteropodidae di Indonesia.

Abstract

Objective:  Digital technologies have significantly impacted science education. This research uses a bibliometric analysis to analyze the evolution of various digital technologies in science education. Method: The research uses the PRISMA method to conduct a systematic review using the Scopus database. Results: LMS was the highest publication and citation in the last five years. DL and LMS publications increased, but DA decreased. DL, LMS, DA, and EA publications dominate article papers. SC and ILS dominated conference papers. 57% of DT researchers are European, with 19% from Asian and North American researchers. Twenty-four sources are participating in DT research. Many universities in America, such as Harvard University, Stanford University, MIT, and Berkeley University, the University of California have extensive facilities for participating in DL, LMS, DA, EA, SC, and ILS research. Novelty: This research is essential to educators, researchers, and policymakers to provide insights on improving digital teaching technologies, inform policy, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. It also offers an overview and research trend of DT in science education research and its opportunities for researchers, librarians, digital developers, educators, and policymakers to develop further research, education, and technology. Further research can be conducted based on the scope of mathematics or physics education, especially to investigate specific skills or STEAM.

Abstract

Indonesia has characteristics of increasing temperatures that have yet to be widely known. Sudden temperature changes have brought many losses to Indonesians. The study was intended to analyze the level of scientific literacy on the climate-change material for prospective physics teachers in Indonesia. The study employs a qualitative methodology. The study also utilized descriptive analysis techniques by administering surveys to gather participant data. This study uses descriptive analysis techniques through the administration of surveys to collect data from participants. Increased emissions of greenhouse gases are a contributing factor to changes in temperature and climate. The escalation of greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia leads to climate change as these gases envelop the Earth and trap the sun's heat, intensifying the greenhouse effect. The outcome entails elevated mean temperatures, alterations in precipitation patterns, and occurrences of severe weather events such as floods and droughts. Evaluating climate or temperature changes necessitates education. Education imparts knowledge about the significance of safeguarding the planet to maintain its well-being. Education plays a crucial role in addressing the challenge of climate change, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia recently The Act No. 1 of 2023 on Criminal Code (KUHP) and the Act No. 22 of 2022 on Correctional Affairs (Correctional Law). The aim of updating or making fundamental changes to the Criminal Code is decolonization, democratization, consolidation, and harmonization of criminal law in a codified and comprehensive manner. The new Criminal Code focuses on maintaining harmony between actions/external nature as objective factors and psychology/mental attitudes as subjective factors, as well as restorative justice. The Correctional Law emphasizes the role of correctional actions of prisoners to help them realize their mistakes, not to repeat criminal offenses, and be ready to return as better and more functional people. Using a qualitative descriptive analysis method, this article discusses the readiness of Probation and Parole officers at Correctional Centers (Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan/PK Bapas) to face the opportunities and challenges in the implementation of the Criminal Code and the Correctional Law. Expansion of the duties and functions of the PK Bapas in the Restorative Justice involves the writing of Social Research of Restorative Justice report for adult suspects. Furthermore, Probation and Parole officers have to be able to carry out communication and mitigation of guidance. Urgent strategic steps need to be taken, including positive legal harmonization vertically and horizontally, competence, favourable personality, exemplary behaviour in law compliance and enforcement, law enforcement infrastructure, as well as legal support and awareness of the community. Pemerintah Republik Indonesia baru saja mengesahkan UU RI No. 1/ 2023 tentang KUHP dan UU RI No. 22/ 2022 tentang Pemasyarakatan (UU PAS). Tujuan pembaruan atau perubahan mendasar dari KUHP adalah dekolonialisasi, demokratisasi, konsolidasi, dan harmonisasi hukum pidana secara menyeluruh dan terkodifikasi. KUHP baru terpusat pada pemeliharaan harmoni antara perbuatan/lahiriah sebagai faktor objektif dan kejiwaan/sikap mental sebagai faktor subjektif, serta keadilan restoratif. UU PAS mempertegas peran pembinaan narapidana untuk menginsyafi kesalahan dan tidak mengulangi kembali delik pidana dan siap menjadi orang yang lebih baik serta berguna. Dengan metode analis deskriptif kualitatif, tulisan ini membahas kesiapan Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan di Balai Pemasyarakatan (PK Bapas) dalam menghadapi peluang dan tantangan penerapan KUHP dan UU PAS. Perluasan tugas dan fungsi PK Bapas meliputi penyusunan Litmas Keadilan Restoratif pada tersangka dewasa. Selain itu, PK harus mampu untuk melakukan komunikasi dan mitigasi pembimbingan. Diperlukan langkah-langkah strategis yang mendesak untuk dilakukan, antara lain harmonisasi hukum positif secara vertikal dan horisontal, kompetensi, kepribadian yang baik, memberikan teladan dalam kepatuhan dan penegakan hukum, infrastruktur penegakan hukum, serta dukungan dan kesadaran hukum masyarakat.

Abstract

The main purpose of writing is to collect problem formulas from statistical products. Financial Element Factor Analysis Ratios of Net Earnings Per Share of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk 2000-2022. The research method exploits quantity case studies with descriptive creations, purposive sampling exploits secondary information on financial reports for 23 years listed on the IDX and exploits IBM SPSS with Analyze Compare Means One Sample T Test and Linear Regression. Scientific findings, especially from testing segmental assumptions that have been carried out by the beta ROE indicator, amplifying coefficients, show that the most impact is 1.180 with a positive value relevant to the level of Strongest correlation. This summary proves that together the entity independent factor of 0.793 has a relevant positive value.

Abstract

Penawaran produk kesehatan merupakan bagian penting dari industri kesehatan yang terus berkembang seiring meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan layanan medis. PT. Citra Teknik Medica sebagai salah satu pemain utama berperan dalam menyediakan berbagai produk dan jasa untuk mendukung fasilitas kesehatan di Indonesia. Dengan permintaan yang terus meningkat dari konsumen, penting bagi PT. Citra Teknik Medica untuk mengidentifikasi produk-produk yang paling diminati untuk mengoptimalkan strategi penjualan dan pengelolaan stok barang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap data penjualan produk kesehatan yang paling diminati di PT. Citra Teknik Medica menggunakan Algoritma K-Means Clustering. Metode penelitian mengikuti proses Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD), meliputi seleksi data, preprocessing, transformasi data, penerapan Algoritma K-Means Clustering, dan evaluasi hasil menggunakan Davies Bouldin Index (DBI). Data yang digunakan adalah data penjualan produk kesehatan tahun 2018-2022 yang diperoleh dari PT. Citra Teknik Medica. Dari percobaan dengan variasi jumlah cluster (K) dari 2 hingga 7, ditemukan bahwa nilai Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) teroptimal dimiliki oleh cluster 4 (K=4) dengan nilai DBI 1.566.714.125.739.650.000 yang paling mendekati 0, menunjukkan pengelompokan produk kesehatan terbaik berdasarkan kuantitas penjualan dengan menggunakan 4 cluster.
