Higher-order thinking skill is closely related to literacy skills. However, data from PIRLS 2011 states that the reading ability of elementary school students in Indonesia is relatively low because it is ranked 42 out of 45 countries. Data from PISA 2018, Indonesia ranked 74 out of 76 countries. Though literacy skill influences mindset. The purpose of this study is to explain: a) the basic concepts of literacy, b) the basic concepts of High Order Thinking Skills, and c) the literacy skill to improve high order thinking skills in elementary school students. The approach used in this study is qualitative. The research method used is content analysis. The data sources are journals and books related to literacy and high order thinking skills. The results of this study are: first, literacy is the ability to interpret information critically and can convey knowledge to others accurately. Second, higher-order thinking skills is the process of thinking students at a higher level of knowledge from various cognitive concepts such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and creation. Third, literacy skills improve higher-order thinking. The strategies used by schools include conditioning literacy-friendly physical environments, seeking social and affective situations as literate models of communication and interaction, and striving schools as a literate academic environments.

Maju mundurnya suatu perusahaan atau organisasi salah satunya sangat bergantung kepada manajemen dari perusahaan atau organisasi itu sendiri. Manajemen atau pengelolaan dapat dimaknai sebagai pengelolaan sumber daya yang dimiliki yang digunakan sepenuhnya secara efektif untuk kemajuan perusahaan atau organisasi. Manajemen atau pengelolaan ini memiliki lima (5) unsur penting, yaitu 1) man, 2) money, 3) material, 4) machine, 5) method, dan 6) market. Pentingnya pengelolaan yang baik ini, bukan hanya untuk perusahaan atau organisasi yang besar, melainkan juga penting untuk skala usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM), termasuk didalamnya UMKM yang bergerak dalam bidang perikanan seperti Karang Taruna Ikhlas Bakti Desa Mangunreja. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Karang Taruna Ikhlas Bakti Desa Mangunreja adalah unsur machine dalam arti belum memanfaatkan secara maksimal teknologi pendukung untuk kegiatan operasional, khususnya penggunaan piranti lunak atau software pendukung pengelolaan usaha. Oleh karena itu, fokus utama pada pengabdian ini adalah untuk menerapkan alat dan piranti lunak Smart Fishery untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional di Karang Taruna Ikhlas Bakti Desa Mangunreja. Luaran yang menjadi target capaian program ini yaitu dimuat dalam Jurnal Nasional ber-ISSN, dimuat pada artikel media cetak/elektronik dan adanya video dokumentasi kegiatan yang dimuat pada media online dengan indikator capaian berupa pemahaman manajemen usaha dengan memaksimalkan penerapan IT berupa piranti lunak Smart Fishery.

Pajak bumi dan bangunan digunakan untuk pembangunan dan kesejahtraan masyarakat. Pengelolaan dan pemungutan pajak bumi dan bangunan dilakukan oleh pemerintahan desa, dimana pada prosesnya masih terdapat banyak kendala. Beberapa kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengelolaan tersebut diantaranya masih menggunakan aplikasi microsoft office yang dirasakan oleh perangkat desa memiliki kekurangan untuk pengelolaan data yang cukup banyak, manajemen penyimpanan berkas pajak bumi dan bangunan kurang baik, belum adanya integrasi data dengan data kependudukan, serta pelaporan yang belum distandarisasi. Selain itu belum adanya pelaporan berbentuk grafik sehingga perangkat desa kesulitan mengetahui data masyarakat yng sudah melakukan pembayaran PBB. Dengan permasalahan tersebut maka dibutuhkan suatu pelatihan penggunaan dan penerapan perangkat lunak khusus untuk pengelolaan pajak bumi dan bangunan bagi perangkat desa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan memberikan wawasan pengetahuan kepada perangkat desa serta memudahkan perangkat desa dalam mengelola data pajak bumi dan bangunan (PBB), pengelolaan pelaporan kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan 3 tahap utama yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monitoring atau evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan memberikan pemahaman kepada perangkat desa tentang pentingnya penggunaan perangkat teknologi informasi dalam upaya optimaliasi pengelolaan data pajak bumi dan bangunan

ABSTRACTThe problem is that teacher performance could be more optimal, but the existing organizational Culture is well implemented, and teacher motivation is carried out according to organizational instructions. The research aims to analyze the role of mediating teacher commitment to performance which is influenced by organizational Culture and motivation. This research is quantitative, and the population is 60 respondents with SmartPLS 3.0 analysis. The results show (1) Organizational Culture has an effect on teacher performance; (2) Organizational Culture has no effect on teacher commitment; (3) Motivation has an effect on teacher commitment; (4) Motivation has an effect on teacher performance; (5) Teacher commitment has an effect on teacher performance ; (6) Organizational culture can directly affect teacher performance, even without the mediation of teacher commitment; (7) Motivation can affect teacher performance directly even without the mediation of teacher commitment, so the organizational Culture that educational institutions have given is still carried out consistently and is preserved, and its harmony with teachers and good teacher motivation needs to be maintained by giving teachers the confidence to can explore their competence in carrying out their duties.ABSTRAK Permasalahan kinerja guru yang belum optimal, tetapi budaya organisasi yang ada sudah diterapkan dengan baik, dan motivasi guru dijalankan sesuai petunjuk organisasi. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis peran mediasi komitmen guru terhadap kinerjanya yang dipengaruhi oleh budaya organisasi dan motivasinya. Penelitian ini kuantitatif dan populasi sebanyak 60 responden dengan analisis SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil menunjukan (1) Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru; (2) Budaya Organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap komitmen guru; (3) Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap komitmen guru; (4) Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru; (5) Komitmen Guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru; (6) Budaya Organisasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru secara langsung, walaupun tanpa mediasi komitmen guru; (7) Motivasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru secara langsung walaupun tanpa mediasi komitmen guru, jadi budaya organisasi yang sudah diberikan oleh lembaga pendidikan tetap dijalankan secara konsisten dan dilestarikan serta keharmonisannya terhadap para guru, serta motivasi guru yang sudah baik perlu dipertahankan dengan memberikan kepercayaan guru untuk bisa mengexplore kompetensinya dalam menjalankan tugasnya.

Abstract: Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada peserta didik memerlukan pemikiran dari seorang guru agar menyediakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan bermakna. Mata Pelajaran IPAS yang merupakan mata pelajaran baru bagi peserta didik kelas 4 SD perlu diberikan berbagai kegiatan dan tahapan sehingga peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara seorang guru dalam menerapkan kegiatan berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam materi pelajaran IPAS. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian narrative research. Guru di kelas 4 di SD Negeri 5 Bringin sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi terkait hal-hal penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan SDN 5 Bringin sudah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka serta dinyatakan sebagai sekolah penggerak. Dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka untuk mata pelajaran IPA serta IPS yang digabung menjadi IPAS, terdapat teknis khusus di mana setiap semester terdiri dari 2 bab IPA serta 2 bab IPS, berbeda dengan pendekatan sebelumnya yang memisahkan semester 1 untuk IPA serta semester 2 untuk IPS. Gabungan itu bertujuan untuk menghindari monotonisasi pembelajaran serta memberi kebebasan, dengan jadwal pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV di hari Senin serta Rabu, mulai pukul 07:00-08:45 serta 09:00-10:10 berturut-turut. Proses pembelajaran IPAS membutuhkan waktu sekitar 5 jam setiap minggunya. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran IPAS, guru mempergunakan modul pembelajaran sebagai panduan. Pembelajaran IPAS melibatkan banyak kegiatan kelompok, diskusi, serta presentasi hasil kerja kelompok peserta didik, menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih nyata pada konteks kurikulum merdeka.

This study aims to determine how the development of students’ religious character through curricular activities at SD Istiqomah Bandung. Instillling religious values is important in a school institution for the development of the caracter of student, an institution is required to be able to create a religious atmosphere trough programs or activities carried out by all school members, one of which is curricular activities, where these activities can produce, one of which is curricular activities, where these activities can produce the formation of a unity, namely religious culture in schools. This religious culture will later become religious values and underlie the behavior, daily habits, traditions, and symbols practiced by the school community. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the development of religious character through curricular activities at SD Istiqomah Bandung. In this study, we used qualitative research through collection methods in the form of observation, interviews an documentation. Based on the results of this study proves that the development of rwligious character activities at SD Istiqomah Bandung can be implemented and developed well.

Teachers are a key to success in education. Teacher management really needs to be considered so that all forms of success are expected to be achieved. Like the existing programs in schools, they can be successful because there is a good teacher management in education. Moving on from that, the writer wants to know how teacher management is in implementing religious programs at Al Istiqomah Elementary School. 2. What are the supporting factors for education management in the implementation of religious programs. At SD Al Istiqomah 3. The toughest obstacle in an education management is in implementing religious programs at SD Al Istiqomah Bandung. In our research, we use a descriptive qualitative approach. namely collecting data based on the factors that support the object of research, then analyze these factors to find the role. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, observation techniques and documentation study techniques. The data collection techniques used by the researchers in this study consisted of: observation, and documentation. At SDIT Istiqomah Lembang there are several forms of evaluation of activities that are directly related to religious activities including: Each student has a daily control book, daily grade book, grade book report cards, certificates of good conduct. The implementation of the religious activity program at SDIT Istiqomah Lembang is carried out through several activities which are divided as follows: Daily religious program, Monthly religious program, Annual religious activity. Teacher Education Methods at SD Istiqomah 1. Use of interesting learning media in class 2. Tahassus method.

Feedback is crucial in the writing learning process, as it enables students to enhance the quality of their work after receiving input from their teacher. Nonetheless, lecturers do not completely grasp the essence of writing education. This study seeks to explore lecturer' beliefs about teaching writing through feedback, describe how these beliefs are applied in teaching practices, and identify any discrepancies between these beliefs and what occurs in the classroom. This research employs a qualitative methodology through a case study. Data were collected via interviews with teachers and students, along with learning observations, and were then analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods through descriptive statistics. The findings of the study suggest that feedback plays a vital role in teaching writing, particularly when complemented by Merdeka curriculum centered on outcome-based learning. The different types of feedback used in learning include written feedback, conferencing, and peer feedback. The roles that lecturers take on include facilitator, provider of feedback, and coordinator. The disparity that arises pertains solely to the lecturer's role in providing feedback, without taking any corrective measures. This research suggests that implementing corrective feedback can enhance students' writing skills.

In higher education, fostering scientific literacy stands essential, especially in understanding and responding to natural disasters. This research investigates the scientific literacy levels among Physics Education students at State University in Surabaya, Indonesia, focusing on earthquake disaster mitigation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that engaged 102 first-year pre-service teachers through a meticulously designed literacy test based on a new programme for international student assessment (PISA) framework 2025. The findings reveal a commendable proficiency in explaining scientific phenomena utilizing scientific knowledge. However, it uncovers a gap in students' abilities to make informed decisions in the context of earthquake disaster mitigation. This drawback is attributed to a lack of comprehensive literacy concerning disaster news, impacts, and mitigative strategies. Despite this, students demonstrated a capacity to argue and articulate their understanding logically based on existing knowledge. The study accentuates the need to enhance students' literacy and decision-making skills regarding natural disasters, advocating for heightened self-awareness and educational interventions to empower students to make informed decisions in disaster-prone scenarios.

Although family businesses play a big part in Indonesia's economy, many of them do not continue into the next generation. Family businesses have several challenges, namely the lack of awareness regarding the importance of sustainability, the existence of myths related to differences in the successor generation also determines the sustainability of the business so that the existence of succession is a phenomenon of changing generations where the sustainability of the family business will be left to the sustainability of the company that guarantees it. This study examines the effect of succession planning on family business sustainability, with a focus on MSMEs in the Banyumas and Tegal regions. Quantitative methods were used to analyze data obtained through questionnaires from business owners. The simple regression results show, with an independent variable contribution of 86.9% to explain family business sustainability. This means that succession planning significantly improves the sustainability of businesses the variability of sustainability can be explained by 86.9% by succession planning. This study emphasizes the importance of education and training for the next generation as well as transparency in communication between owners and successors. The findings are expected to be a reference in passing on the family business with careful planning to ensure business sustainability. Suggestions for future research include expanding the scope of the business and using more varied research methods.
