Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas VII-G di SMP Negeri 19 Malang pada materi Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Penelitian ini berdasarkan oleh beberapa pertimbangan yang benar-benar ditemukan pada saat melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas tersebut. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada kelas tersebut yaitu masih banyaknya peserta didik yang memiliki hasil belajar kurang memuaskan yaitu dibawah nilai 75. Dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan peserta didik mendapatkan nilai hasil belajar yang rendah. Faktor-faktor tersebut meliputi kurangnya pemahaman tentang materi yang telah diajarkan, kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik, kegiatan pembelajaran yang kurang menyenangkan dan kurang diminati oleh peserta didik, maupun pembelajaran yang kurang berpedoman pada karakteristik individu setiap peserta didik. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ini, diharapkan peserta didik dapat memperoleh pemahaman tentang materi yang diajarkan dengan baik dan meningkatkan penguasaan materi yang diajarkan sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ini, peneliti bertujuan untuk menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada perbedaan karakteristik setiap peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dan dimana sebelum siklus berjalan hanya terdapat 47% peserta didik yang memiliki nilai diatas 75. Pada siklus pertama, hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial meningkat menjadi 62% dan pada siklus kedua hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat kembali menjadi 88%. Hal tersebut menjukkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of geospatial technology-based Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) training as an effort to improve the professional competence of high school geography teachers. This study uses an ex post facto method, with a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques through field observation, documentation, and pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that training in the use of geospatial technology based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) has a significant effect on improving teachers' professional competencies, including a comprehensive understanding of the integrative concepts of pedagogy, content, and technology, an increase in the use of geospatial platforms such as Google Earth, Inarisk, and Inageoportal, and the ability to link learning materials with the use of spatial data. This activity is a strategic step in encouraging teachers to become more professional and prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) berbasis teknologi geospasial sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi profesionalitas kepada guru geografi tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto, dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi dan pemberian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi geospasial berbasis Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru, meliputi memahami secara utuh konsep integratif antara pedagogi, konten, dan teknologi, menunjukkan peningkatan dalam penggunaan platform geospasial seperti Google Earth, Inarisk, dan Inageoportal, serta mampu mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan penggunaan data spasial. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam mendorong guru menuju profesionalisme dan kesiapan menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21

Abstract

Assessment of learning outcomes needs to consider the appropriateness between the level of difficulty of questions and the cognitive level being measured, especially in Physical Geography–Geomorphology material that requires higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of difficulty of questions and cognitive levels as defined by Bloom's Taxonomy and Marzano's Taxonomy. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach by developing ten essay-type questions classified according to both taxonomies. The difficulty level analysis was conducted using Classical Test Theory (CTT) with the parameter of the proportion of participants who answered correctly. The research results indicate that difficulty levels do not always correlate with cognitive levels. In Bloom's Taxonomy, C1 questions tend to be the easiest, while in Marzano's Taxonomy, C3 questions are actually easier than other levels. This demonstrates that difficulty levels and cognitive levels are two distinct concepts, so the perception that HOTS questions are always difficult is not entirely accurate. In conclusion, the development of assessment instruments must consider the relationship between learning objectives, cognitive levels, and item characteristics. The study recommends integrating HOTS-based learning into geomorphology material through the use of contextual media and geospatial technology to support meaningful assessment and the development of 21st-century skills.

Abstract

While traditional instruction often relies on linear narratives, this study examines how Prezi’s dynamic contextualized through localized flood phenomena in Kediri City enable students to synthesize multi-dimensional environmental risks and adaptation strategies. The research addresses the critical gap in contextual disaster education within the flood-prone Brantas watershed. Adopting a systematic 4D developmental methodology (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), the study encompasses a rigorous needs analysis, instructional design, and empirical trials. The sample involved 32 Grade XI students at SMAK St. Augustinus Kediri and a panel of expert validators. Data were synthesized through Likert-scale questionnaires and qualitative expert feedback to evaluate pedagogical validity and the resultant cognitive transitions. Empirical findings identify a distinct cognitive shift 87% of students demonstrated an advanced ability to correlate Kediri’s flat topography with local inundation susceptibility. Beyond surpassing the 80% validation threshold from subject-matter and media experts, the framework significantly increased active participation in spatial discussions. Participants successfully mapped connectivity between upstream land-use transformations in the Brantas watershed and downstream urban flood risks. The Prezi-based media optimizes geospatial literacy by utilizing a navigation architecture that visualizes the complex connectivity between regional hydro-spatial dynamics and local vulnerabilities. This facilitates a transition from passive consumption to applied spatial reasoning, effectively supporting the Independent curriculum’s objectives. The media demonstrates high pedagogical utility, subsequent iterations should enrich narrative depth and increase the complexity of evaluative tasks to optimize long-term knowledge retention.
