Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve teachers' pedagogical competence through understanding and implementing the deep learning approach in the learning process at the Junior High School (SMP) level in Bandung Regency. The problems faced include the low readiness of teachers in implementing deep learning approaches due to limited conceptual understanding and practical skills, as well as the dominance of the lecture method in classroom management. This activity is based on the theory of constructive alignment from Biggs and Tang (2011) and the principles of mindful, meaningful, joyful learning launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture (2024), which emphasizes the importance of conceptual understanding, critical reflection, and active student involvement in learning. The implementation of activities uses a Service Learning approach combined with Participatory Action Research and Community-Based Research, which allows for educational interaction between the service team and teachers as participants. Activities are carried out in the form of face-to-face training and simulation of deep learning-based lesson planning. Evaluation was carried out through pretest and posttest which showed a significant increase from the average score of 68.2 to 88.7, with an average increase of 20.5 points. This result shows the effectiveness of the activity in improving teachers' theoretical and applicative understanding of the deep learning approach. The conclusion of this activity states that training and mentoring in the implementation of deep learning can strengthen the capacity of teachers as reflective, innovative and transformative learning leaders. This activity also makes a real contribution to improving the quality of learning in partner schools, and opens up opportunities for replication of similar activities in other educational units.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru melalui pemahaman dan implementasi pendekatan deep learning dalam proses pembelajaran di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Bandung. Permasalahan yang dihadapi meliputi rendahnya kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam akibat keterbatasan pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan praktis, serta dominasi metode ceramah dalam pengelolaan kelas. Kegiatan ini dilandasi oleh teori constructive alignment dari Biggs dan Tang (2011) serta prinsip mindful, meaningful, joyful learning yang dicanangkan Kemendikbud (2024), yang menekankan pentingnya pemahaman konseptual, refleksi kritis, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan Service Learning yang dikombinasikan dengan Participatory Action Research dan Community-Based Research, yang memungkinkan terjadinya interaksi edukatif antara tim pengabdi dan guru sebagai peserta. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan tatap muka dan simulasi penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis deep learning. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dari nilai rata-rata 68,2 menjadi 88,7, dengan kenaikan rata-rata 20,5 poin. Hasil ini menunjukkan efektivitas kegiatan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman guru secara teoretis maupun aplikatif terhadap pendekatan deep learning. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menyatakan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan implementasi pembelajaran mendalam mampu memperkuat kapasitas guru sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran yang reflektif, inovatif, dan transformatif. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah mitra, serta membuka peluang replikasi kegiatan serupa di satuan pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

In the process of documenting files for academic quality assurance and human resources recruitment, it is still conventional where there is still a physical accumulation of files, so that it can slow down the search for files or data needed, and can result in the risk of losing important data. In addition, the unavailability of a Human Resources (HR) recruitment information system that can facilitate prospective applicants for lecturers and staff The method of system development used in this study is the Structured Systems Analysis and Design (SSAD) Methodology. This methodology has several important stages that must be carried out in designing and building E-Dokument in the IIB Darmajaya Information Systems study program With the existence of a mobile-based quality assurance e-document system, it is hoped that it can assist the department in documenting quality assurance files. Abstract

To face the challenges of the current digital era, elementary school students must master two basic skills: literacy and numeracy. However, in practice, learning activities in schools are not effective in developing in-depth understanding. One approach that can be applied to achieve a deeper and more sustainable understanding of concepts is deep learning. This study aims to determine the application of the deep learning approach in literacy and numeracy learning in elementary schools. This study used a literature review method, which was carried out by searching, selecting, and critically analyzing literature from relevant journals, books, and research reports. The selection of sources took into account the credibility of the authors, the appropriateness of the theme, and publications within the last five years. Data analysis was conducted using thematic techniques to identify patterns and conceptual relationships between deep learning and literacy and numeracy learning. The results showed that the deep learning approach improves students' critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and conceptual understanding. This research is expected to further enhance teachers' insight in designing more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

Improving the quality of graduates is currently a major challenge and obstacle for PKBM. Factors that prevent PKBMs from meeting graduate competency standards include cost, time, and human resources. To deal with this problem, we need ingenuity and measures to more effectively and efficiently improve the quality of management and increase the number of graduates. Therefore, the service team organized a workshop to provide effective management support to PKBM Nurul Huda: 1) Improve human resources capacity to manage PKBM; 2) Increase the effectiveness of PKBM management; and 3) Adapt the PKBM curriculum to her DUDIKA's needs. This service is implemented through workshops to improve the quality of graduates and support for curriculum development tailored to DUDIKA's needs. The workshop activities conducted at PKBM Nurul Huda were successful in improving teachers' and administrators' understanding of the graduate competency standards and their needs at DUDIKA. Furthermore, the curriculum, especially for the Package C program, was developed through the development of educational modules using situated learning methods and project-based learning, adapted to all available resources.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the potential of zakat in Indonesia of Rp 327 trillion per year, but the current collection is still Rp 33 trillion per year. This means that only 10.09% of the potential collection is carried out by OPZ (Zakat Management Organization). One of the important pillars in zakat management is amil zakat, so this study aims to describe and analyze the management of zakat management training in improving the competence of amil. This study uses George Robert Terry's management theory and management functions. This study also uses the Kirkpatrick Model in program evaluation formulated by Donald Kirkpatrick. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The technical analysis of this research data uses data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and data verification. The results of this study are the planning, organization and implementation of zakat management training in improving the competence of amil at the zakat management training institution are in accordance with the elements in improving the competence of amil. Evaluation of zakat management training at zakat management training institutions only conducted reaction evaluation and learning evaluation. Behavior evaluation and outcome evaluation have not been conducted by zakat management training institutions. The conclusion in this study is that the management of zakat management training at zakat management training institutions is in accordance with the principles of GR. Terry management and is based on the value system of Sanusi so that it can improve the competence of amil, but there are still some shortcomings in the evaluation of the Kirkpatrick Model program, especially behavioral evaluation and outcome evaluation.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia faces serious challenges related to quality and equity, as shown by its low global ranking. This research focuses on optimising the quality of school work programs as an effort to improve students' personality competencies at Al Azhar 6 and 9 Bekasi Islamic Junior High Schools, emphasising the importance of character education in the context of formal education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation and document analysis, and participants were purposively selected to explore in-depth information about the implementation of the school work programme. The results showed that structured planning and organisation of the work program contributed significantly to improving teachers' personality competence and student enrolment stability, while continuous implementation, control and evaluation supported improved students' academic and non-academic achievements. The findings support the importance of collaboration between principals, teachers and parents and the use of technology and SMART methods in planning, although there are limitations related to the scope of participants and the subjectivity of the data collected, so further research is needed to extend the generalisability of the results.

Abstract

Rendahnya antusiasme dan kreativitas siswa kelas X dalam menulis cerpen, bahkan di Sekolah Penggerak yang seharusnya menjadi pusat inovasi pembelajaran, menunjukkan adanya permasalahan serius dalam strategi pengajaran sastra. Banyak siswa kesulitan memulai tulisan, mengembangkan alur, serta mengekspresikan ide secara orisinal, yang mengakibatkan rendahnya kualitas karya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan model meniru dan memodifikasi dalam meningkatkan antusiasme dan kreativitas siswa menulis cerpen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kualitatif-kuantitatif, melibatkan siswa kelas X di satu Sekolah Penggerak sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes menulis cerpen, dan dokumentasi karya siswa, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan komparatif untuk melihat perubahan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap peniruan terhadap teks teladan memberikan stimulus awal yang efektif, sementara tahap modifikasi mendorong siswa mengintegrasikan ide pribadi ke dalam kerangka cerita yang telah dipahami. Peningkatan terlihat pada aspek kohesi, koherensi, kekayaan kosakata, serta variasi ide cerita. Selain itu, antusiasme siswa meningkat signifikan, tercermin dari partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi dan kolaborasi kreatif. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa model meniru dan memodifikasi efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran menulis cerpen, sekaligus relevan dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran kreatif, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa.

Abstract

Inclusive education implementation faces significant challenges in Indonesian primary schools despite government regulations mandating equal educational access for children with special needs. This study examines inclusive education implementation through systematic management analysis in two primary schools with contrasting implementation contexts and timelines. A qualitative case study approach was employed using W. Edwards Deming's Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) management framework to analyze inclusive education implementation at SDN Sukasari Indah (Bandung Regency) and SDN 201 Sukaluyu (Bandung City). Data collection utilized in-depth interviews with educators, parents, and students, direct classroom observations, and document analysis. Systematic analysis examined planning processes, implementation strategies, evaluation mechanisms, and follow-up actions across both schools. Both schools successfully implemented inclusive education despite resource constraints through strategic planning, collaborative learning approaches, and comprehensive evaluation systems. SDN Sukasari Indah leveraged fifteen years of experience to develop community partnerships and learning communities, while SDN 201 Sukaluyu established inclusion teams and professional consultation arrangements. Primary challenges included absence of specialized assistant teachers, limited systemic support, and inadequate teacher training. Both schools demonstrated innovative solutions including peer support systems, parent collaboration, and external partnerships with specialized organizations. Findings reveal that systematic management approaches enable effective inclusive education delivery despite systemic limitations. The research contributes to understanding locally-developed strategies that address resource constraints while maintaining commitment to inclusive principles, demonstrating institutional resilience and adaptability in delivering equitable education for all children including those with special needs.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat mendorong berbagai bidang untuk beradaptasi, termasuk layanan asesmen psikologi yang memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan, pekerjaan, maupun kesehatan mental. Biro XYZ Psikologi sebelumnya masih melaksanakan asesmen secara manual, sehingga menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu, akurasi, dan jangkauan layanan. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat mengembangkan sistem tes psikologi berbasis digital yang dirancang guna mengoptimalkan proses pendaftaran, pelaksanaan tes, hingga penilaian hasil secara daring. Metode pengabdian meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan dan implementasi sistem digital, pelatihan bagi tenaga psikologi serta administrator, dan evaluasi efektivitas melalui uji coba terbatas serta pengumpulan umpan balik pengguna. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mempercepat proses asesmen, meningkatkan ketepatan hasil, serta memperluas akses bagi peserta dari berbagai lokasi. Selain itu, otomatisasi penilaian dan penyimpanan data yang aman mendukung efisiensi administrasi dan menjaga kerahasiaan informasi. Dengan adanya sistem ini, Biro XYZ Psikologi dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan terpercaya. Ke depan, pengembangan diarahkan pada integrasi dengan lembaga terkait, penambahan fitur adaptif, serta peningkatan validitas instrumen agar manfaatnya lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini didasari oleh pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses pembelajaran yang sejalan dengan perkembangan era digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter dalam manajemen kurikulum Sekolah Dasar (SD) melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital di SDIC Bunda Tami, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan, dan workshop. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalam manajemen kurikulum, serta penggunaan media digital sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital. Rangkaian kegiatan diawali dengan koordinasi dan pemetaan kebutuhan sekolah melalui observasi dan wawancara. Selanjutnya, dilaksanakan pelatihan dan workshop yang membahas strategi penguatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran, penyusunan rencana pembelajaran yang berbasis karakter, serta pemanfaatan media digital interaktif dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kegiatan ini juga mencakup sesi praktik langsung dan pendampingan kepada guru-guru dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran digital yang memuat integrasi pendidikan karakter. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta kuisioner refleksi di akhir kegiatan untuk mengukur dampak dan keberlanjutan program. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai pentingnya pendidikan karakter dalam konteks implementasi kurikulum SD berbasis teknologi digital. Para peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan aktif selama pelatihan, terutama dalam sesi pengembangan media pembelajaran digital berbasis nilai-nilai karakter. Kegiatan ini juga berdampak positif terhadap keterampilan guru dalam merancang serta mengaplikasikan media pembelajaran digital. Sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan, workshop ini menghasilkan komitmen bersama dari para peserta untuk mengintegrasikan media yang telah dirancang ke dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas secara bertahap dan konsisten.
