Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of abdominal muscle endurance and leg muscle strength to jump height in volleyball extracurricular in Senior High School (SMA) in Palembang. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlational method, involving 30 male and female volleyball athletes selected through purposive sampling. Abdominal muscle endurance was measured using a one-minute sit-up test, leg muscle strength was measured with a vertical jump and quadriceps dynamometer, while jump height was measured using a jump reach test commonly used in the performance assessment of volleyball athletes. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the simultaneous and partial contribution of independent variables to dependent variables. The results showed that abdominal muscle endurance and leg muscle strength together contributed significantly to jump height (R² = 0.687), explaining about 68.7% variation in jump ability. Individually, leg muscle strength contributed more (β = 0.542, p < 0.01) than abdominal muscle endurance (β = 0.312, p < 0.05). These findings suggest that both physical components are important for improving jump performance in high school volleyball athletes; However, the strength of the leg muscles has a more dominant role. It is recommended to coaches and health care teachers in Palembang to integrate an exercise program that emphasizes the development of core endurance and limb explosive energy in order to optimize sports performance in volleyball. This research contributes to understanding the biomechanical factors that affect volleyball-specific skills in adolescent athletes in educational settings.

Abstract

Pondasi pada perkerasan jalan berperan sangat penting dalam konstruksi jalan karena sebagai titik tumpu untuk meneruskan dan menyebarkan beban ke bagian konstruksi di bawahnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penambahan limbak serbuk kayu jati sebagai material pengisi pada campuran Asphalt Treated Base (ATB). Analisis pengujian benda uji meliputi analisis kekuatan agregat terhadap tumbukan, indeks kepipihan, angka angularitas, berat isi agregat, analisa saringan agregat halus dan kasar, berat jenis dan penyerapan agregat halus, berat jenis dan penyerapan agregat kasar serta keausan agregat menggunakan alat los angeles. Pengujian benda uji aspal meliputi pemeriksaan penetrasi bahan-bahan bitumen, pemeriksaan titik nyala dan bakar, pemeriksaan titik lembek aspal dan ter, daktilitas bahan bitumen, pemeriksaan berat jenis bitumen keras dan ter, serta penurunan berat minyak aspal. Pengujian Marshall meliputi pengujian stabilitas, flow, VIM, VMA, MQ, VFA, dan density. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, diperoleh hasil yaitu serbuk kayu jati dapat dikatakan layak dijadikan material pengisi pada campuran ATB. Nilai persentase kadar serbuk kayu optimum (SKO) pada campuran ATB adalah sebesar 0,27% pada kadar aspal optimum 5.35% dengan nilai parameter marshall test stabilitas SKO sebesar 1084,33 kg, flow 3,46mm, VIM 4,54%, VMA 16,71%, MQ 312kg/mm, dan VFA 72,81%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem elektropneumatik berbasis OPC dan IoT pada clamping unit for grinding menggunakan PLC Siemens S7-1200 dan Node-RED untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas proses manufaktur. Studi kasus yang dilakukan pada TP 202 Electropneumatics memberikan konteks praktis penerapan sistem kontrol sekuensial, yang melibatkan komponen elektropneumatik untuk menjaga stabilitas benda kerja selama proses penggilingan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan DEDTE (Define, Explore, Design, Test, dan Evaluate). Pada tahap Define, sistem yang melibatkan tiga silinder pneumatik dan PLC Siemens S7-1200 dipilih sebagai fokus penelitian. Explore dilakukan dengan analisis kebutuhan I/O untuk menentukan tag variabel yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem. Pada tahap Design, diagram pengkabelan dibuat dan sistem dikembangkan dalam tiga mode: simulasi, semi simulasi, dan fisik. Pada tahap Test, pengujian konektivitas antara PLC, OPC server (KEPServerEX), dan Node-RED menunjukkan sebagian besar koneksi berhasil, meskipun ada kegagalan kecil. Pada tahap Evaluate, saran perbaikan diberikan untuk pengaturan jaringan dan penyempurnaan antarmuka HMI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang otomasi industri dan dapat diterapkan dalam konteks industri 4.0. Saran perbaikan meliputi pengujian lebih lanjut terhadap pemrograman PLC, optimasi mode simulasi, dan penyempurnaan antarmuka pengguna untuk meningkatkan keandalan dan kemudahan penggunaan sistem.

Abstract

This study examines the relevance of Muhammad Abed Al-Jabiri's epistemology to the dynamics of santri education in modern Islamic boarding schools that integrate religious and general education. Al-Jabiri developed an epistemology with three forms of reasoning: bayani, irfani, and burhani, each of which reflects a different approach to acquiring knowledge. Bayani reasoning emphasizes revealed texts as the main source of knowledge, while irfani reasoning emphasizes intuition and spiritual experience, and burhani reasoning focuses on rationality and empiricism. This article also discusses how Al-Jabiri's thinking plays a role in reconstructing santri education to be more adaptive to the challenges of modernity, by balancing religious values ​​and scientific rationality. In the application of Al-Jabiri's epistemology, especially burhani reasoning, knowledge is obtained through systematic deduction, induction, and empirical observation. However, in the context of the development of modern science, this model is considered limited, so M. Amin Abdullah proposed the addition of the concept of abduction, a more dynamic and flexible hypothetical inference method. Abduction allows knowledge to develop through further testing of hypotheses, which opens up space for creative reasoning in dealing with complex phenomena.

Abstract

This thesis was conducte$d from November 2024 until January 2025, consisting of 99 pages without appendices. The aim of this research is to determine the influenceof Competence, Work Motivation, and Compensation on the performanceof inpatient nurses at Bakti Timah Hospital Pangkalpinang. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 55 respondents, who were nurses working at Bakti Timah Hospital Pangkalpinang as inpatient nurses. The sample was determined using Probability Sampling with Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis involved Validity Testing, Reliability Testing, Classical Assumption Testing, Multiple Linear Regression Testing, the Coefficient of Determination (R2), Simultaneous Test (F-test), and Partial Test (t-test), processed with the IBM SPSS for Windows Version 26 program. The results of the data analysis showed that competence has a positive and significant effect on the performanceof inpatient nurses with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t-count (6.189) > t-table (1.675), work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performanceof inpatient nurses with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05 and t-count (3.084) > t-table (1.675), and compensation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of inpatient nurses with a significance value of 0.019 < 0.05 and t-count (2.413) > t-table (1.675). Furthermore, simultaneously, competence, work motivation, and compensation have a positive and significant effect on the performanceof inpatie$nt nurses with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and F-count (54.049) > F-table (2.790).

Abstract

Memberikan layanan kesehatan yang berkualitas tinggi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien, terutama bagi anggota BPJS yang dirawat di rumah sakit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pasien BPJS terhadap kualitas pelayanan medis di Rumah Sakit Umum Puri Asih Jatisari, Kabupaten Karawang, pada tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei analitik dengan pendekatan potong lintang (cross-sectional) terhadap 35 pasien BPJS yang dipilih secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dengan indikator jaminan, daya tanggap, empati, keandalan, dan bukti fisik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden (74,3%) menilai pelayanan yang diberikan berkualitas baik, dan 54,3% menyatakan sangat puas. Uji Chi Square menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pasien, dengan nilai p = 0,049. Data ini memperkuat pemahaman bahwa kepuasan pasien dipengaruhi oleh dimensi kualitas pelayanan, terutama dalam konteks rumah sakit daerah yang melayani pasien BPJS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya peningkatan aspek kualitas secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien, serta menjadi dasar bagi evaluasi berkelanjutan dalam menyusun strategi pelayanan prima yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasien.

Abstract

In everyday language, AI is not considered mute because it can produce speech; however, from the perspective of kalam, the presence of kalam nafsi is required to negate muteness. The research problem, which centers on the distinction in the meaning of muteness, gives rise to three main issues to be analyzed: (1) the possibility of qualia in AI, (2) AI’s potential to speak, and (3) the source of the grammatical utterances generated by AI. This study is descriptive and qualitative in nature, employing a literature review method. The results of this study reveal three key findings: first, AI does not possess qualia; second, AI is essentially a mute subject that only produces speech mechanically; and third, the source of AI’s utterances is its designer. Theoretically, this research expands the concept of kalam in Imam al-Ash‘ari’s thought, which was previously focused solely on God, toward the domain of created beings in this case, AI. Practically, this study shifts our linguistic perspective by highlighting that the AI we converse with is a mute subject, whereas a mute human being actually possesses inner speech. Keywords: . Social media is a type of cyber media whose presence is in line with the development of information technology, especially the internet. Social media is present and changing the communication paradigm in today's society. This social media not only contains information that is accessed by the public (netizens) but on the other hand, anyone can produce content and distribute it. Social media is also a place to build one's self-image in front of other people. This building of popularity and existence is a matter of satisfaction for most people. Instagram is one of the social media that is popular with Indonesians. . Instagram is a social media application that is used to share photos and videos. Instagram is a promising tool for various accounts such as entertainment and online shops. And promotional events. The need for information is basic for humans today. Humans rely on information to fulfill various needs such as increasing knowledge, improving skills, reducing uncertainty, gaining satisfaction and so on. Bebajoemputan Palembang shop promotes its products using Instagram to maintain the existence of local jumputan cloth culture and encourage local brands to develop rapidly. Jumputan cloth has high historical and cultural value, witnessing the history of Palembang for hundreds of years. Jumputan is a way of applying decoration to textiles by tying certain parts together and then dipping them in dye.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Semiotic Analysis in the Animated Film The Anthem of the Hear". The aim of this research is to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the animated film The Anthem Of The Heart. Researchers use descriptive qualitative methods by recording, analyzing, describing the meanings contained in animated films using Roland Barthes' theory of semiotic analysis, namely by analyzing the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by documenting and watching the animated film The Anthem Of The Heart. The research results show that Roland Barthes's semiotics is interesting to use in analyzing a film and has a clear meaning that can be seen from every scene that the researcher analyzes regarding the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the animated film The Anthem Of The Heart. The meaning of denotation is a sign that is visible to the five senses, such as images of palaces and outstretched hands, then the meaning of connotation requires a deeper understanding of the meaning of denotation where the meaning of connotation can give rise to various meanings depending on the point of view of the person giving the meaning. The meaning of myth is formed from the meaning of denotation and connotation. According to Barthes, myth is not always related to culture or customs but is also related to ideology that spreads in wider society. It can be seen in the nine scenes that researchers analyzed, such as myths about crying, helping hands, and divorce.
