Abstract

Abstract− The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is crucial for mapping flood-prone areas, especially in Jambi City, which frequently experiences flooding due to high rainfall. GIS helps identify high-risk areas, speeds up aid distribution, and allows residents to quickly report floods. This research focuses on developing a prototype information system at the Jambi City Social Service to handle floods.The steps include initial design, analysis of the existing system, and modeling requirements using UML (Unified Modeling Language). This stage involves creating Use Case, Activity, and Class diagrams, as well as a system prototype.The main goal of this research is to create a system design that can assist in flood reporting, mapping flood-prone areas, and facilitating aid distribution in Jambi City. The result is a prototype system designed to improve the efficiency of flood management in the city.

Abstract

In building a wireless network, it is necessary to have an Access Point device that emits a signal that functions as a data traffic regulator, so that it will allow many clients to connect to each other through the network. This research aims to analyze co-channel interference that affects the performance of the signal emitted by the Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) access point at Mitra Jambi Hospital. Using the Quality of Service (QoS) method, this study evaluates network performance parameters such as Throughput, Packet Loss, Jitter and Packet Loss to identify the impact of interference on signal quality. Data was collected through direct measurements at various locations within the hospital, as well as statistical analysis to determine the relationship between interference levels and signal performance. The results show that co-channel interference significantly degrades signal performance, which negatively impacts user experience, especially in critical situations in a hospital environment.

Abstract

As time progresses, there are many things that can make human life easier to make more efficient. Because the era continues to develop, technological modernization occurs so that humans have no other choice to follow the flow of globalization. One technology that makes it easier for users to carry out their daily activities is Augmented Reality technology. This means that it does not rule out the possibility that this technology can be used as a tool for assistant planners at Jambi City BAPPEDA to apply Augmented Reality technology which can provide more detailed and detailed information. The problem that often occurs is that visualizing exposure is still limited so this is not very effective, usually planners presenting data files in the form of manual presentation files, with augmented reality it can turn information into two-way communication where planners can see and click on information and the application can respond back based on the planner's wishes, it also provides more detailed information in the form of visualization in the form of text, images, videos, as well as 2D and 3D animations. So that planners will more easily and quickly receive the information provided. The Augmented Reality design made by the author uses the waterfall method, where this model is chosen because it is suitable for developing software with specifications that do not change.

Abstract

Sumber Rejeki Jambi is one of business that moves in selling material building at Jambi city where processing data still using books and counting tools. So that problems occur that is difficult to manage and counting transactions sales, the process of making the report buying and selling needs long time and occasionally there are delay, and a stock products sometimes going on with physical stock the warehouse. One of solution that make point of sales application use PHP programming language and DBMS MySQL where writer do development system with the waterfall method and used unified model language system like use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, and flowchart diagram .The new system produce outputs featuring customer data, vendor data, product data, purchasing data, selling data and showing data that needed to ease Sumber Rejeki Jambi in processing data.

Abstract

STIKES Keluarga Bunda Jambi is one of the campuses located in the Jambi area for the decision to award scholarships is still ineffective because data processing takes a relatively long time to determine who is entitled to receive scholarships and in recording student data there are often errors in inputting student identities. Therefore, this study aims to provide a solution to the problem that occurs by offering a scholarship decision support system using PHP programming language and MySQL DBMS where the author develops the system with the waterfall method and uses a unified model language system model approach using use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams and flowchart documents. The new system produces outputs that can display student data, admin data, criteria data, sub-criteria data, student assessment data and The results of the calculation are enough to make it easier to provide scholarships using the MABAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison)

Abstract

Effective and efficient administrative services are essential elements in supporting the performance of government agencies. However, the manual queuing system still used at BKPSDMD Kota Jambi faces several challenges, such as unstructured queues, long waiting times, and a lack of visitor comfort. This study aims to design and implement a web-based queuing information system to improve service efficiency and quality. This research applies the Waterfall system development method, which includes planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The system was designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools, such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The system implementation utilized the Laravel framework for the backend, MySQL for the database, and Bootstrap for the user interface. The results indicate that the web-based queuing information system effectively manages queues in a structured manner, provides real-time waiting time information, and enhances visitor comfort during the service process. The system has been successfully implemented at BKPSDMD Kota Jambi, improving the efficiency of administrative services, ensuring a more organized service process, and providing a better experience for service users.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with YouTube as a self-learning platform among students at Universitas Dinamika Bangsa Jambi using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. The research examines five key EUCS dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The research model was developed based on EUCS theory and tested using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 3.2.9. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire distributed to active students who utilize YouTube as a learning resource. A total of 387 respondents participated in this study, with all data deemed valid for analysis. The results indicate that accuracy, ease of use, and timeliness significantly influence user satisfaction, whereas content and format do not have a significant impact. These findings suggest that while YouTube offers accessibility and timely content, the quality of content and presentation format remain challenges to overall user satisfaction. This study highlights the importance of improving content curation and optimizing the user interface structure to enhance the learning experience on YouTube.

Abstract

This study analyzes the level of user satisfaction of BCA mobile banking application using System Usability Scale (SUS) method on students of UNAMA University Jambi. Based on PlayStore review data, BCA mobile application gets a rating of 3.9 out of 5. Some user complaints include application that often force close, difficulty finding transaction history, complex transfer process, and balance information that does not appear immediately. The results of the SUS test show variations in the level of user acceptance, with scores below 50 categorized as Not Acceptable, scores of 50-70 as Marginal, and scores above 70 as Acceptable. Partial statistical tests show that the variables Effectiveness (X1), Efficiency (X2), and Satisfaction (X3) significantly affect the Usability variable (Y). The simultaneous test produces an F value = 279.269 with a significance of 0.000 (<0.05), which indicates a significant relationship between X1, X2, and X3 to Y. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) of 0.897 indicates that 89.7% of the Usability variable is influenced by Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Satisfaction, while the remaining 10.3% is influenced by other factors outside this study. This study concludes that although the level of user satisfaction is quite high, there are a number of aspects that need to be improved to improve the user experience of the BCA mobile banking application.

Abstract

− The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of user satisfaction on the Sipenmaru portal at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi, addressing common issues such as difficulties in accessing the portal, system overload, and inaccuracies in information. These problems highlight the need for a thorough evaluation of the quality of the system, information, and services provided. By adopting the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model and DeLone and McLean's model, this study focuses on identifying factors that influence user satisfaction and how that satisfaction affects the effectiveness of using the Sipenmaru portal. The model includes six main variables: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, and user satisfaction, which are integrated with DeLone and McLean's information system success model. As part of the methodology, a questionnaire was distributed to 210 respondents, and the collected data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with the help of SmartPLS software. Significant factors influencing user satisfaction include accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, information quality, and service quality. To enhance user satisfaction and the effectiveness of using the Sipenmaru portal, it is recommended to optimize the system, improve information quality, and regularly enhance technical services.

Abstract

Karunia Sukses Sejahtera Jambi merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang berlokasi di daerah Jambi dengan pemberian bonus yang masih dipilih secara subjektif berdasarkan keinginan dari manager. Sehingga terjadi permasalahan yaitu terjadi kecemburuan sosial antar karyawan dan menurunnya kinerja dari karyawan dan belum adanya sistem yang terkomputerisasi untuk kenaikan jabatan yang membantu manager SDM untuk menentukan karyawan yang layak mendapatkan bonus. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi untuk permasalahan yang terjadi dengan menawarkan sistem pendukung keputusan pemberian bonus karyawan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP dan database MySQL. Penulis melakukan pengembangan sistem dengan metode waterfall dan menggunakan pendekatan model sistem unified model language menggunakan usecase diagram, activity diagram, class diagram dan flowchart diagram. Sistem baru menghasilkan output yang dapat menampilkan data karyawan, data admin, data kriteria, data sub kriteria, data penilaian karyawan dan hasil perhitungan pemberian bonus dengan metode MAUT yang memberikan kontribusi kepada perusahan dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan semangat karyawan.
