Abstract

This study aims to determine the number of visitors to the small library of TPA Nurul Hidayatullah. The method in this study was a descriptive survey techniques. Based on visitor data is known that the number of visitors was increased and decrease at different condition. Number of visitor was increase when the new books or magazine come and it was decrease when the condition is not supporting. It can be concluded that to build interest in reading needs to be supported by the availability of reading material, as well as reading facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) merupakan hal penting bagi suatu program studi. Penggunaan SIM dapat membantu suatu Program Studi dalam melakukan pengorganisasian data yang lebih baik sekaligus membuat keputusan yang tepat. Paper ini mendeskripsikan penyediaan data melalui SIM Biodata Mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kemudahan pengolahan data Prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan. SIM diunggah ke dalam data sistem yang tersedia di Universitas. Ketersediaan SIM menjaring data 385 mahasiswa dari 451 total mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan angkatan 2012 hingga 2018. SIM biodata menampilkan data jumlah mahasiswa masing-masing angkatan, jenis kelamin, jalur masuk, agama, rata-rata IPK mahasiswa per angkatan, serta data pekerjaan orang tua mahasiswa. Data dapat digunakan untuk akreditasi, monitoring, evaluasi mahasiswa, dan perencanaan pengembangan program studi termasuk rencana strategis. SIM biodata Mahasiswa sebaiknya dihubungkan dengan Siakad Universitas dan disempurnakan. AbstractManagement Information Systems (MIS) is important for a Study Program. The use of MIS can help a Study Program in organizing better data while making the right decisions. This paper describes the provision of data through the MIS Biodata Students to increase the ease of processing the Biology Education Study Program of FKIP Untan. MIS is uploaded into system data available at the University. MIS availability captures data on 385 students from 451 total students of Biology Education Study Program class 2012 to 2018. The biodata MIS displays data on the number of students in each generation, gender, entry point, religion, average student GPA per generation, and parents’ job. Data can be used for accreditation, monitoring, student evaluation, and study program development planning including strategic plans. MIS Biodata Students should be connected with the University Academic and refined.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan e-comic sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Sistem Ekskresi di kelas XI SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Media e-comic diuji kelayakannya melalui validasi oleh enam validator yang terdiri dari tiga ahli materi dan tiga ahli media. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai dari ahli materi untuk aspek format, isi, dan bahasa, masuk dalam kategori valid. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media untuk aspek kesederhanaan, keterpaduan, keseimbangan, bentuk, dan warna masuk dalam kategori valid. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa media e-comic layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Sistem Ekskresi. AbstractThis research aimed to describe the feasibility of e-comic as a learning media on the material of Excretion System 11th of Senior High School students. The research method used descriptive quantitative. Thus e-comic was tested its feasibility by six validators which consist of three material experts and three media experts, the instrument used a validation sheet. The result by the material experts showed that the average total validation score for the format aspect, content aspect, and language aspect was categorized as valid. The result by media experts showed that the average total validity score for the simplicity aspect, cohesiveness aspect, balance aspect, form aspect, and colors aspect was categorized as valid. It concluded that e-comic is valid to be used as a learning media for Excretion System.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui kelayakan media flipbook pada submateri kelainan atau penyakit pada sistem reproduksi  kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode RD (Research Development). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi. Penilaian kelayakan media flipbook Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini adalah potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain dan revisi desain. dinilai melalui uji validitas oleh 2 orang validator. Uji validitas meliputi format, isi, dan bahasa. Hasil analisis validasi media flipbook didapat nilai Vi 0,972 maka media dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri kelainan atau penyakit pada sistem reproduksi.

Abstract

This research is development research, which aimed to create module of circulatory system disorder based on anti-cholesterol activity tests of Sawi Dayak - Elephantopus mollis. The data analysis use Content Validation Index (CVI) and Content Validation Rate (CVR) refers to Lawshe's method. The development of this module is in two stages: creation and validation of the module. Validator was selected based on a purposive sampling that involve two biology education experts of Universitas Tanjungpura, and three biology teachers. Presentation, graphic, content, and language aspects were evaluated, total 24 criterias. Based on the results data analysis, CVI was 0.99 in the valid category and all criteria CVR was 0.99. It was concluded that the product is suitable as teaching material for the circulatory system disorder sub-material for senior high school.

Abstract

Learning that does not involve students actively causes a lack of balance in students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities, so to solve these learning problems, it is necessary to improve learning media to make it easier for students to remember and analyze a lesson, one of them with e-comic media. This study aims to determine student responses to e-comic on the excretory system material based on cognition, affection, and conation aspects. The research method used is descriptive with a survey approach. The sample in this study was students of class XI IPA SMA, which consisted of 4 classes with 100 students. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. Data analysis uses questionnaire validation and calculates the percentage of total responses. The results showed that the average percentage of student responses to e-comic learning media in the cognitive aspect was 91%; the affective aspect was 89%; and in the conation aspect was 87.1%; each of the three aspects is categorized as very positif.

Abstract

A well-conducted learning activity is supported by the availability of teaching materials, among many other supportive aspects. One of the most common teaching materials is textbook. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the textbook on the structure and function of cells in reproductive system material for eleventh-grade students in high school. This study applied a descriptive method, and the data analysis used the Gregory test involving two validators. Three aspects that had been validated are presentation, content, and language consisting of fifteen criteria. The result of validation showed the validity construct for the aspect of the presentation is 1, the aspect of content is 1, and the aspect of language is 1, so the criteria for each aspect are very high. It concluded that the textbook can be used as a teaching material for the structure and function of cells in reproductive system material.

Abstract

Medicinal plants were contextual to study during Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The purpose of this study was to measure Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of medicinal plants and analyze the relevance of science learning during new normal COVID-19. The research method used descriptive quantitative with survey techniques carried out in 2019 and 2020. The instrument used 12 items test questions with a sample of 104 vocational students. The results showed that the students' LOTS of scores were higher (2.32) than students’ HOTS (1.69). The analysis showed that the topic of medicinal plants and the relevant environment during the new normal period of COVID-19. The conclusion from this study that the LOTS score was higher than HOTS and knowledge of medicinal plants became relevant during the new normal COVID-19.

Abstract

Limbah bisa diolah menjadi sesuatu yang berguna dan memiliki nilai, salah satunya dengan mengubahnya menjadi media pembelajaran. Workshop ini bertujuan membangun kreativitas guru sekolah dasar dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan limbah menjadi media pembelajaran yang menarik dan berguna dalam proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran tidak selalu berkaitan dengan sesuatu yang mahal dan modern, namun dapat dikembangkan secara sederhana dari limbah-limbah yang ada di lingkungan sekitar. Sasaran utama dari workshop ini yaitu guru sekolah dasar di SDN 21 Pontianak Utara. Pelaksanaan workshop ini melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perancangan media pembelajaran, persiapan alat dan bahan, sosialisasi, dan workshop. Setelah penyampaian materi dari narasumber dan pemberian contoh media, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab kemudian pembuatan media pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan ini, guru tampak antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti tahapan pembuatan media pembelajaran yang dipandu oleh tim pelaksana. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan antara lain puzzle hewan, pohon ciri makhluk hidup, bangun datar, flashcard abjad, dan angka serta gambar.

Abstract

The use of electronic teaching materials could increase students’ interest in learning. An electronic module was one of the teaching materials. This study aimed to see the feasibility of the electronic module material for the circulatory system. We used the research and development method. This study’s method had steps that included potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. Five validators validated product design. The data analysis used the CVR and CVI values for each criterion in the validation aspect which are course, graphic, contents, and language with a minimum value of 0.99. The study found two important findings. First, from the validator, the CVR values in all elements had a value of 1, and the CVI results each had a value of 1. Hence, the electronic module of the circulatory system material is declared valid and feasible to use. Second, the product trial obtained an overall average score of 88.4% and was very positive. It means that the electronic module could be an alternative teaching material used in the learning process at school or self-study for the student at home.
