Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Tondok Bakaru Mamasa dalam konservasi keanekaragaman hayati melalui pendekatan berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan ini merupakan upaya kolaboratif antara Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Sulawesi Barat dan masyarakat desa untuk melestarikan lingkungan lokal sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab sosial dan akademik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2024 s.d. Februari 2025 dan melibatkan 29 peserta masyarakat secara langsung, dengan fokus pada pelatihan berbasis partisipasi. Judul program ini adalah “Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Konservasi Keanekaragaman Hayati Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Desa Tondok Bakaru”. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa materi yang disampaikan relevan dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya pelestarian ekosistem lokal. Peserta juga mengapresiasi metode pelatihan yang interaktif dan pendampingan yang intensif sebagai langkah penting menuju pelestarian lingkungan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article examines Islamic economic thought during the time of Prophet Muhammad and the Khulafaur Rasyidin, which laid a significant foundation for Islamic economics. The study focuses on the relevance of Islamic economic concepts in addressing modern issues such as social inequality and economic exploitation. The research problem explores how early Islamic economic thought can provide solutions to current economic challenges. The study employs a literature review method, analyzing key Islamic principles such as zakat management, prohibition of usury, land distribution, and fiscal policies. Findings reveal that Islamic economic principles emphasize social justice and wealth distribution, offering viable solutions to contemporary economic problems. The article suggests integrating Islamic social justice principles into modern economic systems to reduce global economic inequality. In conclusion, the economic thought of the Prophet Muhammad and Khulafaur Rasyidin is highly relevant for building a more equitable and inclusive economic system.

Abstract

The research consists of three research problems; (1) in what way is Instagram used, (2) what is the character of students, and (3) is there significant effect of Instagram toward the students’ character in class X at SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. The research applied survey research. The technique of data collection used questionnaire, interview, and observation. The population of the research involved as many as 46 class X students. The result of the research revealed (1) that the intensity of the use of Instagram by the students of class X of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare was in high category. It was shown by the questionnaire result which was 45, 2%. The value was in the interval between 26% - 50% which was high, (2) The character of the class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare was in good category. It was shown by the questionnaire result which was 49, 8 %. The value was in the interval between 26% - 50% which was good, (3) The effect of Instagram toward the character of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare can be concluded having positive effect based on the calculation using product moment and interview technique. As general reveal of the research, the intensity of the use of Instagram has positive effect toward the character of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of the impact of the lette rental apartment program in Mariso District, Makassar City. This study used a qualitative method to describe and explain the evaluation of the impact of the rental apartment program. The number of informants in this study were 8 people. The results of the study showed that the evaluation of the impact of the lette rental apartment program Mariso District of Makassar had a number of very significant effects ranging from economic impacts on equity indicators, political impacts on effectiveness indicators and social impacts on responsiveness indicators. Therefore, the hypothesis in the study was accepted because it was supported by the significance value. Furthermore, the evaluation of the impact of the rental apartment program was also influenced by factors of equity, effectiveness and responsiveness. Keywords: equity, effectiveness, responsiveness

Abstract

This paper seeks to establish selected elements of teacher motivation to their respective effects on classroom behaviours, of particular interest are Intrinsic motivation, Extrinsic motivation, job satisfaction and professional development. This study adopted a quantitative method; 150 teachers from different schools in Makassar City were administrated questionnaires, and regression analysis was used to test the level of teacher motivation and classroom dynamics. The findings show that type of motivation plays a huge role in the classroom, with self-interest having the greatest impact on student attentiveness. It also shows that job satisfaction is reducing rate of poor classroom behavior and enhancing teacher-student communication, while professional development enhances teacher student relationship. The results of extrinsic motivation were also noticeable but lower than intrinsic motivation. The research findings offer an important contribution to future research in the field, as they offered an overall picture of teacher motives and their implications for different aspects of classroom dynamics. The study has focused on the need for education policies that encourage the growth of intrinsic motivation through organisational work culture and staff due process. This shows that by addressing motivation at this level schools are likely to create teacher incentive of the positive environment that is most likely to enhance the learning process of the students. The study has practical implications to upgrading the educational practices; it is recommended that increasing the level of teacher motivation leads to development of better classroom climate, therefore promoting a better education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and examine in depth the criminal sanctions for online gambling in Article 45 Paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions from an Islamic Criminal Law Perspective. To obtain answers to the research focus, this study is directed at library research (Library Research) with primary data sources Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions) and Jinayah fiqh study books along with secondary data sources through book studies -books and literature that are relevant to the problem being studied. The data collection method was carried out using document study techniques. After the data has been successfully collected and analyzed. So, based on the analysis of these data, the research results show that the substance of gambling regulations in Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, regulates the pattern of crimes committed using computers or the internet as a tool in carrying out crimes, namely those involving gambling, while the regulation of the formulation of the elements of criminal acts of gambling still refers to the Criminal Code, Republic of Indonesia Law Number 7 of 1974 concerning Controlling Gambling, and Government Regulation Number 9 of 1981 concerning Implementation of Controlling Gambling. In the study of fiqh jinayah, gambling is categorized as an act of ta'zir. The ruler has the right to determine the punishment according to his actions. In this case, the government, in eradicating regular gambling or online gambling, provides punishment by applying sanctions, whether contained in the Criminal Code or Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016. The sanctions that have been determined by the government are takzir punishments. The punishment can vary, in this case prison sentences and fines.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the problems of criminal law enforcement against land grabs from the perspective of criminal law and Islamic law and the factors that hinder the process of investigating land grabs in the Jambi Regional Police jurisdiction. The research method is a qualitative method, while the type of research is library research. The research was carried out by the author collecting secondary data obtained from books and writings related to the theme. The results of this research indicate that the problem of law enforcement in cases of land grabbing in the Jambi Regional Police's jurisdiction is hampered by the existence of PERMA Number 1 of 1956 which states that in the investigation of a criminal case, a decision must be made regarding the existence of a civil matter or an item or regarding a legal relationship between two certain parties. Then the criminal case examination can be postponed to wait for a court decision in the civil case examination regarding the existence or non-existence of civil rights. Meanwhile in Islamic law the issue of land grabbing has not been discussed in detail but the closest term is gasab (utilizing other people's rights without the permission of the owner and carried out openly), in carrying out their duties the police also encounter several obstacles, such as obstacles that include internal police, namely where infrastructure and so on, and external obstacles caused by the community itself and this is very crucial in investigating this matter, namely administrative matters (land titles), in enforcing criminal acts, it is hoped that Jambi Regional Police investigators carry out their duties in a professional manner with the aim of assisting and speeding up the investigation process in handling a case of encroachment.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan komponen krusial dalam pembelajaran matematika, karena melibatkan pemahaman konsep, penalaran logis, dan keterampilan berpikir sistematis. Di tingkat SMP, salah satu topik penting yang menuntut keterampilan ini adalah Teorema Pythagoras. Variasi kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada topik ini perlu dikaji secara mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi kendala dan merancang strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berdasarkan tahapan Polya: (1) memahami masalah, (2) menyusun rencana penyelesaian, (3) melaksanakan rencana, dan (4) memeriksa kembali hasil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek tiga siswa kelas VIII SMP yang dipilih berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui dua sesi: tes tertulis pemecahan masalah dan wawancara mendalam untuk menggali strategi berpikir siswa, dengan dokumentasi sebagai pendukung. Analisis dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman: kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola yang konsisten: siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi dapat melalui seluruh tahapan Polya secara sistematis; siswa dengan kemampuan sedang mengalami kesulitan pada tahap menyusun rencana penyelesaian; sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah mengalami hambatan hampir di semua tahapan, terutama dalam memahami masalah. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perbedaan signifikan dalam pendekatan penyelesaian masalah. Implikasi praktisnya, pembelajaran berbasis tahapan Polya dapat difokuskan untuk memperkuat pemahaman masalah dan perencanaan solusi bagi siswa dengan kemampuan rendah.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using buffalo rumen fluid as a source of enzymes (CRKSE) in corn and soybean meal-based rations on the performance of broiler chickens. A total of 240 day-old chicks (DOC) of the Ross strain were allocated into 24 groups, consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications with 10 chicks each. The treatment was using CRKSE, namely R1: 0 ml, R2: 30.78 ml, R3: 61.56 ml, R4: 92.35 ml, R5: 123.12 ml, and R6: 153.90 ml per kilogram of ration, respectively equivalent to 0%, 0.6%, 1.2%, 1.8%, 2.4% and 3.0% extracted buffalo rumen fluid enzymes. The rations were incubated with CRKSE for 24 hours at room temperature. Chickens were kept for 5 weeks and provided food and drinking water ad libitum. The variables measured were feed consumption, body weight gain (BWG), feed conversion ratio (FCR), final body weight (FBW), carcass weight, and digestive organ weight. The study design was a completely randomized design, and data were analyzed using ANOVA. If there is a significant effect, proceed with Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT). The use of CRKSE in rations had a significant effect (P<0.05) on feed consumption and FCR, whereas on BWG and FBW of broiler chickens up to 5 weeks of age, carcass weight, and digestive organ weights had no significant effect (P>0.05). The DMRT test results proved that the treatment using CRKSE at the level of 30.78 ml/kg (R2) to the level of 153.9 ml/kg ration (R6) significantly (P<0.05) reduced feed consumption and FCR compared to R1, but not significantly different (P>0.05) between R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6. It can be concluded that the use of CRKSE from slaughterhouses in rations is effective in improving the performance of broiler chickens by reducing the FCR   Key words: buffalo, broiler performance, enzyme, local feed, rumen fluid   ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan cairan rumen kerbau sebagai sumber enzim (CRKSE) dalam ransum berbasis jagung dan bungkil kedelai terhadap performa ayam broiler. Sebanyak 240 ekor anak ayam umur sehari (DOC) strain Ross dibagi menjadi 24 kelompok, terdiri atas 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdapat 10 ekor. Perlakuannya adalah penggunaan CRKSE yaitu R1 : 0 ml, R2: 30,78 ml, R3: 61,56 ml, R4: 92,35 ml, R5: 123,12 ml dan R6: 153,90 ml per kilogram ransum, masing masing setara dengan 0%, 0,6%, 1,2%, 1,8%, 2,4% dan 3,0% enzim cairan rumen kerbau hasil ekstraksi. Ransum diinkubasi dengan CRKSE selama 24 jam pada suhu ruang. Ayam dipelihara selama 5 minggu, pemberian makan dan air minum tersedia ad libitum. Peubah yang diukur adalah konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), konversi ransum, Bobot badan akhir (BBA), bobot karkas dan bobot organ pencernaan. Rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan acak lengkap, dan data dianalisis dengan ANOVA. Bila terdapat pengaruh yang nyata, dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan (DMRT). Penggunaan CRKSE dalam ransum berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum dan konversi ransum, sedangkan terhadap PBB dan BBA ayam broiler sampai umur 5 minggu, bobot karkas dan bobot organ pencernaan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Hasil uji DMRT membuktikan bahwa perlakuan penggunaan CRKSE pada taraf 30,78 ml/kg (R2) sampai taraf 153,9 ml/kg ransum (R6) nyata (P<0,05) menurunkan konsumsi ransum dan angka konversi ransum dibandingkan R1, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) antara R2, R3, R4, R5 dan R6. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan CRKSE asal rumah potong hewan dalam ransum efektif memperbaiki performa ayam broiler dengan menurunkan angka konversi ransum.   Kata kunci: cairan rumen, enzim, kerbau, pakan lokal, performa ayam broiler.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a disease caused by a new type of corona virus, namely SARS-CoV-2. Covid-19 was first discovered in Wuhan City, China in December 2019 and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in March 2020. Covid Virus-19 can be spread by touching contaminated surfaces. One of the recommended preventive measures is adopting a clean lifestyle. The clean lifestyle that is applied is discipline in using hand sanitizer. One form of community service carried out by the Nitro Makassar Institute of Business and Finance Team is by distributing hand sanitizer to road users and mosque congregations. The distribution of hand sanitizers is a concrete form of preventing and breaking the chain of spread of Covid-19, especially in Makassar City. The hand sanitizer was obtained from the self-help of the service team. Hand sanitizer distribution is accompanied by education about the benefits and use of hand sanitizer. The activities carried out received a positive response from the community, especially road users and mosque congregations, they were very enthusiastic when hand sanitizer was distributed.
