Abstract

Teacher Working Group (KKG) is a professional forum for teachers to improve their competence and collaboration through routine activities such as training, preparation of teaching materials, and discussions on education policies. However, these activities are often hampered by manual management resulting in information delays, data duplication, and unstructured documentation. This study aims to design and implement an integrated and efficient web-based KKG activity management information system. The study was conducted in Cluster 3, Mamajang District, Makassar City. The method used is the Waterfall software development model, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. System testing was carried out using the black box method to ensure that the system's functionality runs according to plan. The implementation results show that the system can manage membership data, activity schedules, documentation reports, and internal notifications effectively. The test results show that all system functions run well. This digitalization has been proven to support the efficiency of KKG activity management and has the potential to be adopted more widely in the context of improving the quality of basic education.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the role of forecasting in comparing financing options and its impact on business decision-making. It focuses on how forecasting tools help companies select financing strategies that align with their long-term financial goals and sustainability objectives. Research Method: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology was employed to analyze existing studies related to forecasting in financial decision-making, with a particular emphasis on integrating sustainability factors, such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, into financing decisions. Results and Discussion: The findings highlight that forecasting gives businesses essential insights into future cash flows, capital needs, and market conditions, enabling informed financing decisions. Accurate forecasting influences the choice between debt and equity financing, mitigates financial risks, and improves long-term stability. The study also highlights the growing importance of incorporating ESG factors into financial forecasting to align financing decisions with sustainability goals. This trend is becoming increasingly relevant in modern corporate finance. Implications: The practical implications suggest businesses integrate forecasting models, including financial and ESG metrics, to ensure sustainable financing decisions. By forecasting, companies can effectively manage risks, enhance adaptability, and align their financial strategies with long-term objectives. This research contributes to the field by offering a novel approach that merges traditional economic analysis with sustainability considerations, providing financial managers with the tools to make data-driven, strategic decisions.

Abstract

The learning process of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects tends to use more space in the computer laboratory than in the classroom. In order for ICT learning in the classroom to be active and enjoyable learning, it is necessary to choose the right media so that learning objectives can be achieved. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bintan by taking subjects from class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 1 Bintan in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year whose students' abilities for motivation to learn ICT in the classroom were still low and their mastery of the material in identifying menus and icons in Ms. Excel was still not optimal so that student learning achievement was not in accordance with expectations. The purpose of writing this research is to determine whether the Cooperative learning model with puzzle media can improve student learning achievement. The data obtained from the results of this research clearly shows an increase from the initial data, the average class only reached 71, increasing to 83. This success shows that the application of puzzle-based learning media with pictures of menu pieces and Ms. Excel icons is feasible to use and effective in improving student learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the implementation of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK) in online buying and selling (e-commerce) practices from a Maqashid Shariah perspective. The background of the study arises from the rapid development of digital transactions that have brought challenges to consumer protection, such as online fraud, product discrepancies, delivery delays, and misuse of personal data. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with an empirical juridical method, involved interviews with the Department of Industry and Trade of Jambi Province and the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) of Jambi Province, and was complemented by a literature review. The results of the study show that the principles of consumer protection in the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK) show substantial alignment with the objectives of Maqashid Syariah, particularly in preserving property (hifz al-mal), life (hifz al-nafs), and dignity (hifz al-‘ird). However, the UUPK still has weaknesses in responding to the characteristics of digital transactions, including the absence of specific regulations on electronic commerce, weak law enforcement based on digital evidence, limitations in the function of Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK), the lack of regulation on personal data protection, the minimal obligation of transparency for online business actors, and the insufficient adaptability to new digital business models. This study recommends revising the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK) to be more responsive to technological developments, strengthening consumer dispute settlement institutions, synchronizing regulations, and enhancing public legal literacy based on the principles of justice and welfare according to Maqashid Syariah.
